Another hot day

Do not know why the weather recently is so unbearable. Hot and sticky. It makes me don't feel like going out but to stay indoor. No aircon at home but it is better than to sweat outside. However, today is so hot that staying indoor also makes people sweat.

My niece came to our house today. Few weeks did not see her and find that she has grown taller again. She cut her hair short. Not because she wanted but is her mum's idea. Weather is too hot to maintain long hair.

Very good girl today that she did her homework on her own without my sister asking her to do. Their syllabus is so high now that even Primary 3 mathematics made us took a long time to figure out what is the answer. Luckily I am born earlier. Ha ha.

Opened out the chocolate candy which my colleague bought for me from Tokyo Disneyland. It has nice packaging and the strawberry flavor chocolate tastes good too. I never doubt the titbits from Japan. Both packaging and taste is nice. :)

Yo... Friday!

Here comes weekend. Time really flies. Rather quiet day for me on Friday with not many phone calls in office. This allowed me to concentrate on my work without being disturbed.

My colleagues were very relax as it considered not a busy day for us. One of them was busy surfing net looking for suitable house, stocks and looking at artists' facebook. Ha ha... and it was in front of our boss!

Basically a rather enjoyable day for me. Not much stress in work. Good for my blood pressure. :)

Had dinner at LJS before heading for cinema to watch "Night at the Museum 2" at 9.10pm. This is a funny show that made you laugh and laugh. Good for de-stress.

Well, I am feeling sleepy now. Not having enough sleep for past few days. Think better go to sleep now.

On leave

This morning, I thought I can wake up late since will be taking one day off. However, was being wake up by phone call at 8 plus. After settling the call, can't go back to sleep but to laze on bed for a while.

Went to SNEC for review on my right eye. My doctor said that my eye problem early this month did not look like the same problem I have encountered last year. This is a relieve for me. At least I don't have to worry on what had actually happened to me. My eye looks good today and my next review will be half a year later. Hopefully nothing happens within this six months. Cross my fingers and toes again!

As it was still early, I went to the temple at Bugis with my mum. After that, we had our early dinner at MOF. Wow... I didn't know that members are entitled to a 30% off before 5.30pm during weekdays. 赚到了! I paid for the bill on time hence can enjoy this privilege.

Did not go shopping after dinner as I did not have anything to buy. Therefore, we just bought dinner for my dad and sister before we head for home.

That is how I utilised my one day leave. Shall plan for my leaves again. Got to clear them before being confiscated.

Tomorrow is 端午节. My mum bought some dumpling. It seemed a little bit shrank in size but guess it could be due to the festival, they made it smaller but sold at same price (instead of raising up the price too much). This is the nonya flavor.

Relax

Today I can finally relax a bit. My colleague is back from holiday and I just need to cover my another colleague's work. Phew....

My colleague came back from Tokyo and many of us joke with her that she needs to be quarantined. Instead of her quarantines at home, we suggested that all of us should quarantine at home and she be the only one staying in office. Ha ha.

She enjoyed her trip as it was a real break for her. No reading of emails there as it is expensive to download emails from mobile phone. Therefore, can really forget about work. The same applied to me last month. Wow... how time flies. It has been a month since I came back from my trip. But... it seems so long ago. Hmmm.... why lei???

I am taking leave tomorrow as I need to visit eye specialist for review. Therefore, I can wake up a little bit later tomorrow morning. Hopefully my eye is ok. Cross my fingers and toes.

Hot Hot Hot

It is now 12.49am. Feel tired but can't sleep. Just finished watching TV program and intend to go to bed. However, the weather is so hot that I feel like dipping in a pool of ice water.

Took cold shower just now but still cannot reduce the heat. Immediately out from bath room, I felt like stepping into a sauna room...

No choice lah. Have to go to work tomorrow. Die die also must force myself to sleep.

Well, hope I can have good sleep. Hopefully no dreams. If have, give me a mild one which I don't have to run about. Else tomorrow will feel very tired when I wake up. Ha ha ha.

Time to relax

Yo... its time to relax after a hectic week.

Yesterday, my colleague tempted us to have lunch at Marutama @ The Central. We immediately agreed and took train there. Very convenient from our workplace as it is just 3 stations away. I love the egg. So yummy. Tempted to take 2 of it but in the end, decided just to have one will do. The ramen and soup is nice too. :)

As usual, we watched movie on Friday night. Bought tickets for "Angels and Demons" at 9 pm. We had our dinner at Subway. We shared a 12 foot long sandwich. Huge right?

This movie has very good storyline. It is very fast pace and exciting. No time to relax throughout the 138mins. You will not know who is the ultimate bad guy until the end of the show. This movie definitely worth for money. Great!

Luckily we still can catch the last few trains and no need to take cab home. When I reached home, it is already 12.45am. Went straight to bed after shower.

Farewell

Today I had a training in the morning hence unable to attend the funeral. My colleague who had passed away last Saturday was cremated today. Few of our colleagues attended the ceremony. One of my colleague mentioned that many cried and if I were there, I will definitely be one of them. I cannot control my emotion very well and tend to lost control easily.

Was busy today as half a day was gone and left another half of the day to complete my work. Went home late today but was glad that I managed to clear most of my work today. Tomorrow we have a team dinner and cannot stay late. Trust I will be super busy again on Friday.

Time flies and it left 2 days to go before weekend comes. Counting down to next Tuesday as my colleague will be back from holiday. Hope she enjoys her trip in Tokyo. Once she is back, I can relax a bit but will be at the same time, covering work for my another colleague who will be going for 1 week leave. Will be busy doing coverage until end of June.

Shall now go and watch TV program. Get addicted to this Hong Kong drama series.

Silence

I went to my colleague's wake during lunch time. It was so quiet at the chappell and I was so sad to see my colleague, who once a jovial and talkative man, lying quietly and silently there.

We were talking about his past and many of us still cannot accept the fact that this friend of ours is gone now. Through conversation with his wife, we were glad that he did not suffer much and left peacefully.

One of my colleague who is very close to him is feeling sad and has no mood to work. They used to run about in the office and many of us still remember the images of them running and hitting each other.

Life is short. Cherish the time we have and enjoy life to the fullest. This is what I am telling myself now.

Sad news

I was in shock when received a sms from my colleague this morning. One of our colleague had passed away peacefully this morning. He was once my immediate line manager when I joined the company and sad that he was diagnosed with cancer few years ago.

He was a very nice man who made people happy. His laughter was always there wherever he was. However, with his illness, we no longer hear that. Hope his departure will bring him some peace and be released from the pain he had gone through. He shall go to another paradise where he can be back to his old self who brings laughter to everyone.

Rest in peace.

X-Men

Friday Friday Friday! It's Friday! A day which I like most in the week.

Rather busy today and was pleased that I had covered a lot of things within today. Lunch today was disrupted with lots of phone calls but luckily that was compensated by the good and free food (Nasi Lemak).

My colleague is flying off tomorrow to Tokyo and how I wish I am the one going. Though I just came back last month, still has the urge to fly there again. Crazy right? Ha Ha.

Just watched movie "X-Men Origins:Wolverine" with 小珠. Both of us agreed that this is a good movie. The pace is very fast and exciting. Worth for money...

Shall sleep now so that will not wake up late. Good nite and hope I have good dream. :)

Bad bad day

Today really spoil my day. Have argument with boss again. For the same old matter. Really sick of it. Anyway, don't talk about it. Angry uh... My BP sure rised up today.

Back home late today. Not much time left for me to play games. Shall also continue to watch Naruto. It is beginning to be exciting. :)

Tuesday. 3 more days to go before Friday. Count down now....

Today is rather a peaceful day at work. Nothing special happened in office and glad that everything went well.

Back home at around 9.10pm. Consider early today. Sat in front of the TV and watched the channel 8 drama series "My School Daze". Rather interesting story.

When my sister and I was in the kitchen, my mother told us that our new toaster oven is very interesting. She put 2 slices of bread onto it and toast them. Checked every few minutes from her bedroom (kitchen is very near to my parent's room) but wondering why it takes so long. Finally she cannot tahan and walked to the kitchen and found them on the floor. Ha ha ha.... the toast breads flew down!

My sister who was hearing what my mother was saying, laughed suddenly and blamed my mother. Know what? She had actually thrown the rice on her plate into the basin! She thought she yet to scoop the rice and wanted to throw away the water on the plate (she thought there is water there). We laughed and laughed on that.

Strange weather

For the past 1 week, the weather is behaving very strangely. It rains in the morning but get so hot, I really mean "HOT" and not warm, after that. Today, same thing happens but change in timing. It was so "HOT" in the morning but rained around noon time. After the raining, it was still so hot. Hope the weather can get a little bit better each day. Otherwise, it is very easily to fall ill.

Today I am experiencing Monday Blue. Simply no strength to do anything. Can still work but very slow. Luckily not so many emails today so I can clear them slowly. Like a snail... which is even slower than a tortoise. Hee hee.

Well, my colleague is going on leave next week. I will be busy for another one and a half week. Hope everything goes well during that period.

My hair is getting long. Soon, I won't be able to take it. Must quickly decide a date to have my haircut.

This is one of the bag I bought in Japan (Aeon Mall near Narita airport). Smallest among my 5 new bags. Hope this will give me some good luck tomorrow. :)

Feeling better today

Yesterday was a rather terrible day for me as I was feeling so tired and uncomfortable for the whole day.

Woke up around 8 plus this am when there was heavy downpour again. Head a bit heavy so decided to take paracetamol before going back to sleep. Hope it will be gone by the time I fully wake up. Luckily, the headache was gone when I woke up again at 10.45am. Otherwise, another day will be burned by lying down.

My aunt and cousin came to our house. A bit quiet today as my little niece did not come today due to her coming exam next week. I played facebook games for few hours and passed my notebook to my cousin who wanted to play online games. For me, I continued to watch TV programs. Ha ha.

This is another bag I had bought in Japan. Was shopping at Asakusa and found it in one of the shop. Like this one as it has 2 way of carrying (normal and haversac). Opening ceremony for this bag was in last Friday. Tomorrow going to take same bag to work too.

Ok lah. Shall move to do some of my office work. Did not log in at all due to my tireness. Will clear some mails first. :)

Movie time again

After a break of abt 3 weeks, finally we are back to our usual watching movie time.

Watched "Kabei - Our Mother" yesterday night. Very touching on few scenes. This movie screened at the right time because 10 May is mother's day. Nice show and the moral of this story is good for all children.

Was very tired today. Woke up at 8+ this am to handle some work issue. Went back to sleep and ended up sleeping till 1pm. Wow... clever right. Ha ha.

That is not the end of it. After taking my "breakfast", I laid on sofa to watch TV program. Ended up sleeping again. Woke up at 5pm. Siao liao. Like a pig today.

Hope will not be like this tomorrow as I have so many things to do during this weekend. Shall now start to do some of my tasks and not to fall asleep again. Hee hee.

Tiredness

Today Channel 8 news screened a part on Tateyama that attracts many tourist during this time. I was so excited and told my father that I was there and the view was better on the day I went up the mountain. TV screening showed that weather was rather windy and was so "smoky". Am glad that we went there during good weather. Clear blue sky as you can see from photo I had taken.

My eyes are becoming smaller and smaller. Soon will join to become one straight line. Think today have to really sleep early as tomorrow, I have to leave for office early. We are attending a training.

My internet is rather slow today. Don't know why. Am too lazy to reboot it. Therefore, think best thing to do now is to shut down and go to bed.

Shall continue to play games in facebook tomorrow. Oops... forget that I am watching movie tomorrow and may not be able to surf internet. However, shall see how. Maybe I will be too awake to sleep after the movie tomorrow.

Confession of a crops thief

I must confess! I am stealing crops from my buddies. I know it is bad..... but..... no choice. This make the game more fun.

Don't worry.... I am not a real thief. I am a "virtual thief" as I have been constantly stealing crops that my facebook buddies have been planting. Happy Harvest is real fun. Get so excited when my crops have matured and can harvest. Get so guilty after stealing from my buddies. Ha ha.

Well today I am going to rest early. My eye are still not well yet. Doctor said it is Iritis (or commonly known as Uveitis) again. I got it in last Sep and do not know why it comes back. Can't book any earlier appointment with the specialist from Singapore National Eye Centre. Will see how it goes. Hope it gets off soon.

Came home early today. Bad bad bad for me. As I have more time at home, I started to dig for snacks. This is one of the titbits I bought from Japan. Very nice chocolate with almonds. It is with small individual packs. Lucky uh, else I will eat the whole packet. Hee hee.

Monday again

It's Monday again. This morning while lying on my bed, I was wondering today is which day and do I need to go to work. So lazy to wake up as I enjoyed the long weekend we had which I can wake up late everyday. However, not for today. Too bad :(

Normal day for me today as I was busy doing monthend closing and helped to cover my colleague's work as she was on leave. Went home late today and before taking cab, I couldn't resist my craving for cake hence bought a small black forest cake from Swiss Bake. In fact, actual cake I craving is strawberry shortcake. Still missing the cakes we had during our Japan trip at Ginza Almond cafe. Yummy Yummy. Will eat again should I am there again. Hope no need to wait too long. Ha ha.

I decided to use my new bag which I bought in Japan. This bag was bought from Aeom Mall near Narita airport. Nice right?

Addicting games

Today, I continued to play games in facebook. Eager to break my own records hence keep trying. Finally I am able to get higher scores. Very addicting.

Playing Happy Harvest and Pet Society. My farm is now growing strawberries and apples which will take longer time to mature before I can harvest them. For Pet Society, I am trying to get more coins in order to buy more clothing and some furniture to decorate my pet's house.

I went to the new shopping mall, Tampines 1, for dinner with my parents and sister. Wow... so crowded there. Met one of my colleague there.

All restaurants there were in long queue. My parents like Japanese food so we decided to queue at Sushi Tei. In fact, this queue was not as long as the others. Ate alot of sashimi today. My father enjoyed the freshness of the sashimi hence ordered more.

After dinner, we went to shop around for a while and saw this chendol advertisement. Got attracted to it and went to foodcourt, Kopitiam, to try it. Very big portion and it costs only $2.50. However, we were so cold after eating. The chendol is cold and the aircon is very cold too.

Overall, we are very satisfied with our meal today. Now I shall continue to play games... Bye for now.

Labour Day

Today is Labour Day. Holiday! Wow Wow.

Went to Jurong Point for lunch with my parents and sister. First time she was driving there so a bit unsure on the direction. However, we did reach there safely though there was a scare for us around Upper Changi road.

There was a big lorry behind our car and it could be due to my sister displaying the "P" plate, the driver actually filtered to our left lane near a traffic junction. Very obvious that it was red light and all cars in front had stopped but do not know why the lorry did not slow down but just banged onto the car in front. Ended up 7 cars in total got involved. Worst was a taxi just in front of the lorry. Back of the car got crushed and luckily the taxi driver and passenger were not injured. Seems no one got injured and my sister was relieved that her car is safe. Initially my father still asking her to filter to the left lane. Phew!

Went to eat Korean food today. First time my parents eating Korean food and we find it nice. The restaurant is on the 3rd level of the extension area. We actually took quite some time to find our way there. This is the first time I went after the extension has completed.

We shopped around for a while before heading to my sister's house. Stayed there for a few hours before we went to have dinner together at Bt Timah road. We ate at Waffle Town which sells western food + waffle. Reasonable price and nice. Not crowded too. Afterwhich, we went home.

Conclusion : today is all about eating. Ha ha.
