Free movie tickets

One of our temp staff last working day was today and we had a farewell lunch with him. We had a very very full lunch at Sushi Tei. I was so full until my stomach was still bloated till now.

Originally, 小珠 and I planned to have dinner at 和民 at The Central since we were not watching any movie. However, one of our colleague who knew we always watched movies on Friday, asked if we wanted to watch Iron Man 2 tonight. He had 2 tickets and he could not make it for the movie. Therefore would like to let us had it so that they would not be wasted.

My another colleague said that he was too "不够诚意" and added on a pair of movie vouchers for us. What a good bargain. 2 set of free movies for us!!! Although we had no intention to watch Iron Man 2 (did not watch the first movie), we decided to proceed as to not to waste money.

Before the movie, we were too full until did not know what to have for our dinner. Walked around VivoCity and still could not decide on it. It was either restaurants were full or no appetite to eat too heavy dinner. In the end, we decided to eat ice-cream (actually I was the one who wanted!) and bought one scoop each of Awfully Chocolate ice-cream. Yummy and we were satisfied with it. I even "打包" back the spoons. I like it because it was nice and strong for re-use at home.

In fact, we were lucky that we did not have dinner at The Central. We were so full and do not think we can enjoy any delicious food... Ha ha...

Iron Man 2 was not too bad. However, the screen was too near as we got the third row from the screen seats. It was GV max but we were not too use to near to the screen seats. A bit weird to see so large subtitles. We were puzzled on why the bad guy got put down so fast. Should make the fight longer. Overall still not too bad lah.

Meeting and meeting

Today I was engaged in so many meetings. Had one at 11am and another at 2pm. Last minute called in for short meeting at 4.30pm. These made me not very efficient today and had to rush to clear emails in order not to miss out any important messages.

Managed to clear most of my work by 9pm. While on our way to MRT station, I told 小珠 that there isn't any suitable movie to watch tomorrow and suggest to have a good dinner. Suddenly thought of Watami and suggested to have dinner at The Central. Hopefully, it will not be crowded at that location.

Even if the restaurant is full, we still have many other choices of Japanese restaurant. Do hope we can get a table at Watami as I miss the food there.

Food food food. I always think of food. No wonder getting fatter and fatter...

So angry ~ Wasted $$$

Today I went to SNEC for follow up review on my eye. If everything went smoothly, I should be "discharge" today. However.....

I took a cab and reached the centre at 2.45pm. My appointment was 3.15pm. So pai sei that I was told to scan my appointment card at the machine instead of giving it to the registration counter. It had been few months I was not there and they changed the procedure.

After doing the eye pressure test, I waited outside the consultation room. I was replying to emails while waiting and thought the most, waiting time will be 30 - 45mins. There were quite a number of emails to response and it was already 4.30pm. I could not believe that the waiting time was so.... long. My phone battery was very low and I need to be back in office to handle my work. 4.30pm onwards was the most crucial time.

Checked with the nurse and was told mine was after another patient who was waiting. I had timed each patient's consultation time and averagely 15 - 20mins per pax. I had to wait for another 30 - 40mins and I could not afford to wait anymore. Told the nurse that I had to reschedule and managed to change it to 13 May at 8.45am. I requested to be the first patient after doctor starts his consultation. However, this will be subject to "emergency case" whereby he will attend to emergency surgery first before attending to me. Hope I won't be that unlucky.

It was raining and I was waiting at the taxi stand, praying hard to be my turn to get a cab soon and phone battery to withstand until I was back in office. Wanted to call for a cab but due to low battery, I could not afford to wait for the "high volume" waiting time to talk to the operator.

Waited for 30mins and still no cab. The security guard suggested to walk to Block 7 of SGH as there were more cabs coming in. No choice but to walk over. Luckily got a cab after waiting for about 10mins. I was on yahoo with my customer and the phone just switched off prompting very very low battery signal. Unable to turn on unless I charge it. Die die die....

I had important message to get across to my colleague too and while in the cab, I was deciding if to borrow the cab driver's mobile phone. The most I will pay for the call. However, I did not ask for it and "patiently" waited till I reached office.

Overall, I wasted about 3 hours and $14 for taking cab to/fro for nothing!!! So angry uh!!!

2nd casino opens today

Today marked the opening of Marina Bay Sands at 3.18pm. Looks like it is very important to have the right day and right time for the opening ceremony.

From TV news, this casino looks more grand as compared to RWS and it has 4 storeys. Will find a day to go for an excursion ~ not to the casino but to have a look at the shopping gallery and area.

Was rather tired today and need to rest early. Shall watch just a few episodes of anime before going to bed.

Relax

This morning, I had a relaxing time in office. I could do my work peacefully without any disturbance. How I wish everyday will be like that.

As it was raining near to lunch time, the weather looked good hence we decided to have our lunch at Seah Im Food Centre. Although it was raining, but the food centre was rather humid. I ordered 卤面 with lots of chillies. In the end, could not stand the spicy and had to order sugarcane drink. The noodle was yummy.

Afternoon was rather peaceful too. Not many enquiries in the evening hence I could go home earlier. Not super early but quite early lah. We left office at around 7.30pm.

Was rather disappointed that I did not do any sales today as the enquiries were rather thin. However, to my surprised, I managed to close some deals when I was at home. Lucky lucky. :)

Finally my niece came

It had been so long that I did not see my niece. Last time I saw her was during Chinese New Year. After that, she was busy with her swimming exam. Seems like she grows taller again.

As usual, she needs to do homework before she can start playing. She automatically took out her homework and went into my room. She said that the earlier she starts, the faster she can play later. So far she is obedient in doing homework. I asked my sister how is her studies and she said that her kid has a maximum on what she can absorb. Therefore, can only train her slowly.

We played Jenga and she always cheat. Told her no cheating or else I will stop playing. After a few rounds, we stopped and she started to build "house" using the tiles. Reason of building was to destroy them by throwing few tiles on it. After all, she is still a kid and trying to do new things in her own innovative ways.

They went home at around 9pm and our house becomes quiet again. Will see her again next week. :P

New episode of "Maid Sama" not out yet. Therefore watched Naruto. So exciting now as Konoha is under attacked. Looking forward to the next episode.

I spent a lot today

This morning, I woke up at 10.30am. Was reading newspaper when my mum asked if we wanted to go out for lunch. My sister suggested to go out for lunch and to go shopping instead of staying at home. No objection and we went out at around 1pm.

I suggested to have Dim Sum and we were deciding where to go. Initially thought of Fortunate Restaurant (幸福饮茶) at Orchard but we decided on East Ocean Teochew restaurant at Shaw House. It had been quite some time since we dine there.

When we reached the restaurant, it was rather packed. We managed to get a table for three of us. As it had been a long time that we never been here, we were wondering why there was no menu given to us. Only after a while then we realised that the Dim Sum will be brought out by the waiter/waitress after they were ready. They would indicate what the dishes available and we just need to call them to serve us. Really Hong Kong style.

We ordered quite a number of dishes and agreed that the food was nice and not so salty. Will come again next time. It was a bit expensive but considering the quality of food, it was still worth it to dine there. Bill total up to be $90.

After lunch, we went to Isetan Scotts basement and bought some Japanese food items. Walked over to Isetan Wisma and ended up buying 2 pairs of Americaya shoes. It was only today that I knew that this is a Japanese brand. The brand name misled me to think that it is an American brand. Ha ha...

Not only the shoes, I bought a blouse at Esprit. My sister has the discount card and both of us bought 1 each. She was luckier as hers was a sale item so it costs half of my blouse's price. We walked towards Takashimaya but there was nothing much for us to see or buy. My sister wanted to buy an iphone leather casing and we decided to go to Paragon to see if there was any nice ones. Was waiting at the traffic light and something caught our eyes. Took a photo with my phone. Did not manage to zoom nearer but still can see quite clearly.

This was a promotion for F1 2010. When the traffic stopped, the F1 models will walk to the middle of the road and put up the signboard in front of motorists. This caught many people attention and many tourists took photos with the models. Not too sure if they were real models but they looked like students actually. Quite innovative promotional gimmicks.

We did not find any nice phone casing and took a bus to Dhoby Ghaut. I managed to remember that I could collect my photo book there since it was on the way. Collected it and was glad that it turns out good again. I love the printings.

I suggested to my sister to go to the 4th level shop that sells a lot of headphones, accessories and gadgets. She finally found one that she likes and bought it immediately. The colour she chose was the last piece. Lucky lucky.

After buying the phone casing, we took train to Serangoon station and bought dinner before taking a cab home. As we were still quite full, we bought a packet of hor fun, fried rice and 2 crabs to share among 4 of us.

Enjoyed the dinner at home with my dad. He was waiting for us to buy dinner for him. :P

Time to rest again :)

I went to City Square mall during lunch time with my colleagues. Had lunch there and ate the rather famous 秋莲板面 at Kopitiam foodcourt. Nice soup but it made me felt so thirsty for rest of the day.

As our Taiwan colleague is leaving the company next week, we chipped in to buy a farewell gift for her. Went to Swarovski and bought a keychain + charm for her. Clover shape keychain meant for good luck. Hope she will like it.

Watched movie "The Bounty Hunter" and it was entertaining with laughter. There were times when I could heard people laughed so loudly around us. Really good to watch comedy on Friday which will make my mind relax.

Next week there will be another comedy that will screen. We saw the trailer twice and made up our mind to watch it. The movie title is "The Backup Plan". Believe it will make us laugh again on next Friday.

Finally finished most of my backlogs

Yippy! Today I went home at 7.30pm. My colleague came back from medical leave yesterday hence I could do my own work these 2 days. Managed to clear most of my backlogs today.

Although my another colleague will be on leave tomorrow, it will only be a day and hope everything goes smoothly.

We bought tickets for tomorrow movie at 9.40pm. Will be watching "The Bounty Hunter" and hope it will be nice.

Shall continue to watch anime now.

Busy and tired morning

This morning, I took bus to Kovan station as usual. Midway, I received sms from my sister who left office that North East Line had train disruption. She suggested me to go direct to Serangoon station and took Circle Line to Dhoby Ghaut station for chasing train to HarbourFront station. I decided to take her advice but being so blurred, I still alight at Kovan station and walked toward the platform. Only reaching the gate then realised that I need to take bus to Serangoon station as the station was so crowded with people waiting for the delayed trains. I found it strange that there was no announcement made to inform passengers that there was train disruption at that time. Time was 9.10am.

I took a bus to Serangoon station to take Circle line. Was deciding between taking train to Dhoby Ghaut or to Bishan station and change to North South line. Finally decided on taking train to Bishan station as there were lessor stations in total. My sister told me not to get lost in Bishan station as this was my first time taking Circle line. True enough, I got lost there. I was looking for Circle line direction and could not find it as I could only see North South line direction. Got what I was blurred on? I got out of train from Circle line and still looking for Circle line direction to take train!!! Correct one was to take North South line lah...

Was in the train towards Dhoby Ghaut when I received another sms from my sister. She said train was still delayed and hence she decided to take bus to office. Her colleague who took train from Serangoon station around 8am was still stuck at Clarke Quay station. Time was 9.40am. Therefore, I decided to take train till Raffles Place station and change bus to HarbourFront.

Was glad that I still had option to take various route while walking towards the bus stop but was so shocked that the bridge leading to the opposite road was blocked. I could not see any underpass or traffic light nearby for me to cross over. Asked a lady and she said I had to walk all the way to Fullerton to take the underpass and walk back to reach the bus stop. It will take me at least 20mins to get to the opposite bus stop!!! In the end, I surrendered and took a cab to office. Luckily there was cab at the taxi stand and no more peak hour/ERP charge.

The whole morning activity made me so tired and worsen my headache which I had from time I woke up. Hope this will not happen again uh...

First attempt

Today, I made my first attempt to buy shares. Heard of one stock that has potential hence decided to make a try. Bought 2 lots through my sister's account as I yet to apply for the online system.

However, 2 of us made a mistake which turned out to be not so bad. The price was HKD12.56 when we were monitoring. Usually, people will try to bid lower in order to get better price. We were too excited as never trade foreign shares before (this was my first time) plus so nervous to make a purchase, we bid at HKD12.60!

After submitting, my sister realised it and asked me why I bid for HKD12.60. I told her I didn't know and thought it was the way to get the bid. As we bid higher than the listed price at that moment, we got it immediately.

We were so sotong but eventually, it turned out to be blessing in disguise. The share price rose after that and hit highest at HKD12.80. It closed at HKD12.72. Wow... lucky lucky.

Now will need to monitor the price and sell them at right timing. :)

Busy Monday

Today, I thought it will be a day that I could relax. However, it turned out the opposite.

Morning was ok with most of my emails cleared. Went out for team lunch cum meeting and back in office only after 4pm. During the few hours, there were so many emails waiting for my attention.

My colleague was sick and on MC for 2 days. Oh dear... I have to cover her for these 2 days and will be very busy again. I still have a month end report to rush tomorrow. Hope I can finish it fast and accurate.

Do hope she will not be taking any more MC or leaves for next week. Many of our colleagues will be on business trip and there will be short of manpower here.

Luckily 小珠 helped me out during evening time. Otherwise, I would not be able to clear my paperwork and will be "spillover" to tomorrow.

I miss my niece

So sad... My niece did not come today as she had to do school project at her classmate's house. I miss her as did not see her since Chinese New Year. She was having her swimming exam and hence her tuition was changed to Sunday. Good news was she had passed her Gold exam.

Stayed at home today watching TV programs and also watched few episodes of anime. So fast and it was Sunday. Forever feels that time is not sufficient on weekend. Why can't we have 3 days rest per week???

Shall not stay up late tonight. Feels rather tired now and will sleep before 1am.

Photo Book #2

Today, I went for my haircut at Dhoby Ghaut. It had been almost 3 months and I could not stand my long fringe. So relieved after the cut.

Went to the shop at Dhoby Exchange to order printing for my Photo Book #2. 10% discount applicable for walk in only. Although I did bring the discount coupon, I still entitled for the discount. However, only cash payment. I saved $13 for this printing. More photos hence done a 80 pages book. Look forward to the finished book next week.

I went to VivoCity to meet my mum and sister. My sister wanted to get a iphone with new mobile line. Decided on Starhub so that she can enjoy the discount for mobile line, broadband and Cable vision.

The queue was long. The customer service staff told her that waiting time was around 1 hr 30mins to 2 hrs. Therefore, we decided to proceed for dinner at Akashi while waiting. Nowadays, they will sms you when it is going to be your turn. This will avoid overcrowding problem and also allows customers to go and do their own shopping/dining during waiting time.

In the end, the waiting time was 2 hrs 30 mins. Luckily we did a lot of things during this period. Took a cab home and was surprised that there was no queue at the taxi stand. It was 10pm and strange that the queue was empty at HarbourFront Centre.

Good Day for me

Overall, today is a good day for me. I managed to fix a deal after much disappointment of losing few enquiries. Satisfied and hope more deals can be fixed next week.

Our movie started at 9.10pm and we left office rather early today hence there was more time for us to have our dinner. Many of the restaurants were full and we ended up trying a new small restaurant serving Japanese bento sets.

The food was not bad and we got free 5 pcs salmon as we ordered 2 bento sets. Enjoyed the food with no hurry since there was sufficient time.

The movie "Shutter Island" was in fact not on ghost story. It was a thriller. The plot was good and it kept us in suspense until ending. Perhaps we did not read the book and hence we were curious to know what will happen on next scene. I did guess correct near to the end of the movie. Hee hee...

Overall, a good Friday for me. :P

How to make money grows???

Today, we had our team meeting. As usual, at end of the session, topic was diverted to investments. My boss talked about buying houses and kept telling us to invest on buying house instead of keeping cash in banks which will not make our money grows.

I am interested to make my money grows but need help because I know nothing on how to buy a house. My colleague said she will help me to look out if there is any suitable ones. As long as I can cover the initial deposit of 20%, it will be fine. Let's see how it goes.

Tomorrow is my favourite day. Looking forward to it. We bought movie tickets for tomorrow and will be watching "Shutter Island". This is a thriller and hope not too scary. Luckily we are watching in GV Max and will be a lot of people. Ha ha ha...

Sold out!!!

This morning, my colleague tried to log on to sistic website to purchase Jay Chou's World Tour Concert tickets. However, the system hung and she could not proceed to purchase the tickets. No choice but to try sistic outlet at VivoCity.

There was already long queue when she reached there. Almost 20 people were queuing there. I joined her but we found that the queue was not moving at all. Seems there was problem with their booking system that took so long for the transaction. I queued for almost 20mins and the lady who was first in the queue was still there.

Finally, we decided not to queue and to wait till the internet booking "traffic" was better and to book online. Before the decision was made, I asked for 小珠's help to try logging into the website. It took quite long time before she could access. Happily thought we had chance to get the tickets but... the tickets were sold out!!!

They were gone within an hour and today was opened for OCBC card members only and all gone!!! So sad to hear that. One of my colleague who wanted to get tickets too also missed it. He has a friend who told him there should be an extra show on 23 Jul. Now, we are aiming for this added show and hope we can get the tickets.

There should have more than 1 show lah. He so popular mah. Ha ha...

Jay Chou's World Tour 2010 Concert

This evening, my colleague mentioned about Jay Chou's World Tour 2010 Concert. When I heard it, I was so excited. I missed his previous concert and wish to watch his next concert.

My colleague is interested and we decided to go together. Initially thought it will be only 2 of us as her husband may not want to go. However, now we have 6 of us going. They are bringing their 2 nieces and nephew along.

The OCBC card priority booking starts tomorrow and we hope we can get good seats. Cross our fingers...

Good Monday

Wow... It's been so long ago since I enjoyed a peaceful day in office. No phone ringing and ringing. Just one or two only.

My colleagues back to work hence I could do my own work today. As I had brought back some work to do last weekend, it made my Monday more relaxing. Hope this will continue.

Just finished watching anime "Maid Sama" episode 2. Initially, I thought the episode I watched yesterday night was episode 2 when it aired in Animax channel. Only to know that it was actually episode 1 when I watched it online today. This anime was aired just few days late compared with Japan airing time. Very cute anime and I will continue to watch it.

Started to watch anime "Yakitate Japan". Did watch few episodes few years back. 小珠 almost finished the 69 episodes. Now it's my turn to watch it. :P

What a hot hot day, I was like roasted!!!

This afternoon, we took our dad's lorry to Choa Chu Kang Columbarium. It is period of 清明节 and my parents had planned to go today.

My younger brother, sister and myself sat at the back and took big umbrellas to shade ourselves. It was a long journey from Pasir Ris and the sun was so "big" and "hot". It was still bearable in the beginning but was a disaster when we reached near Choa Chu Kang cemetry area. There was a long jam and we were jammed there for almost an hour. It was hot and sticky... I was feeling so uncomfortable as I was sitting against the direction of car movement. So worried that I will "merlion out". Luckily was ok. I think bad air was one of the reason that made me felt so uncomfortable.

Reached there and met our aunt family. They stayed a while and left as my aunt had something on. Helped on the praying and visited my grandparents + relative + uncle. We only be there for visiting once a year.

It was so crowded there today. Weather was hot and all the vending machines ran out of stock of drinks. Water cooler machine also out of order. We were so thirsty and hot. I was craving for Ice-Kacang uh!

Met one of my customer there. She saw me walking around and called me. So coincidence but oh dear, she saw me looking so dressed down and sweating...

On our way back, there was still jam but was shorter than earlier. My dad drove us to Jurong for dinner. We were so thirsty and quickly ordered sugarcane drinks. I ordered small glasses as I thought we could have desserts later but due to our thirst, we could not stand and order another 2 big glasses to share. In the end, no desserts as our stomach were full of water. Ha ha ha...

My face still feel a bit "burning". Hope it will be ok tomorrow. Must put on moisturizer before I sleep tonight. So tired now and guess will sleep early tonight. :P

Dinner at Ichiban Boshi @ Parkway Parade

My mum accompanied my younger sis to church this evening. I was tired so did not follow them (not because I am not a Christian but was real tired after a hectic week). Today's session will be in Hokkien and Cantonese so my mum could understood. She was there just to experience and will be boring to stay at home so did not mind going.

I waited for my dad to be home and we took a cab to meet the two of them at Parkway. Decided on Ichiban Boshi restaurant and my mum and sis queued first while we were on the way. Reached Parkway Parade and looked for the restaurant. I dined in this restaurant before so vaguely remembered the location at level 2. However, both of us walked round level 2 and even level 3 but still could not find it.

My sis finally called and asked why we took so long. I told her I could not find the restaurant. She directed me and finally found it. The restaurant has moved to an extension area. No wonder I could not find it.

We were very hungry and decided to order their set menu. I ordered cod fish meal. Strange? Usually I chose chicken over fish but today felt like eating fish. Sashimi was a must and we ordered pork croquettes. The food was delicious and we will dine there again.

After the meal, we did not order dessert as we were rather full. However, I could not resist and bought a cup of choco mint ice-cream at the basement. That was handmade ice-cream (they "fried" themselves). Durian flavor is most popular but too bad, I don't eat durian. Hee hee...

As it was late and most shops were closed, we headed home. Tomorrow we were going to Choa Chu Kang Columbarium hence cannot sleep late tonight.

Finally It's Friday!!!

Today started badly with phone calls that made me unable to carry on with my work in the morning. Was in such a bad mood and nearly cried due to the pressure of phone ringings. These calls were from our sales associates. I do not understand why they kept calling when there was no answering. I purposely ignored the phone calls as was in mid of doing my morning reports but they kept calling and calling.... In the end, my colleague helped to answer and told them I was busy. Only to know reason of their calls could actually be put in email. Weird right?

Managed to get out of office and had lunch at KFC. My tooth was better hence I started to eat more solid food. Right after lunch, went back to work so that I could quickly continue with my work.

Watched movie "Date Night" tonight and this really made me laughed and forgot about the stress I had . This week I was so stressed up and finally can released them during the movie. The main casts were just purely would like to have a dinner and yet ended up with an adventurous night with people chasing them and they had to protect themselves. I liked the NG at the end of the show. They made us laughed and laughed. Ha ha ha...

Looking forward to a better week from next Monday onwards. :)

Today is Yamapi's birthday. Happy Birthday to him and hope he enjoys today. Just realised recently that out of my 5 idols, 3 of them have birthday falls in April.

Panic

Same thing happened today. I still cannot finish what I planned to do. Morning was distracted with phone calls and afternoon was busy clearing some urgent matters. In the end, had to stay late to clear my paperwork again.

There were so much to do and I began to panic as I did not have enough time to finish all. Luckily, 小珠 offered to help me to clear some of my paperwork. Otherwise, I do not know how am I going to clear them asap. Customers will start to chase if they did not receive order confirmation on the next day.

Tomorrow, I have and definitely have to finish those tasks I need to clear by this week. One of my colleague who is on biz trip this week will be back tomorrow. It will help a bit as I need not cover part of her work. Looking forward to tomorrow as it will be last day I need to cover for my another colleague who is on leave this week. Then I will be relieved and can do my month end reporting. I cannot concentrate on those reports hence better don't do first as I know that I will definitely make mistakes. Will leave it to next week or this weekend to finish up.

Bought tickets for tomorrow's movie. We will be watching "Date Night" at 9.30pm. This is a comedy show and I hope to end this hectic week with laughter. :P

Another Bee Zee day

Well, today is such a bee zee day for me. So many things to handle. I thought by finishing up the paperwork yesterday will create a more relaxing day for me today. However, it was just opposite. More work piling up today. No choice but to work late to clear them.

I still have some month end reports yet to complete. Do not know when I will have some spare time to finish them. Really do not know what am I busy with. Big ??? buzzling around my head.

Went to Crabtree & Evelyn after having my lunch. Spent $119 to buy body lotions for myself and my mum. Wow... luckily I have some VivoCity vouchers and I just spent $19 only. Ha ha...

They have promotion for one of the new fragrance. I quite like it because the smell is rather light. Can use it as "perfume" since I usually do not put on perfume as I cannot stand the strong fragrance. This Spider Lily fragrance is not very strong so just nice...

Glad that my tooth is not so pain today. I can do without painkiller and count myself lucky that mine did not have much pain. Perhaps because mine is not molar tooth. Cross my fingers and toes that it will be ok for the next 2 weeks and I can seal it permanently.

Count down for another 2 days and its Friday again. Looking forward...

I am brave today

This morning, I woke up with same pain on my tooth. Really could not stand it and asked my sister if she had any recommendation of a good dentist. Supposed to look for the dentist she recommended but he was not in the clinic today hence changed to another dentist. As I had problem even biting bread, I requested for most immediate slot to get my tooth examined by the dentist.

Luckily I managed to get the appointment at 11am today. The clinic was just next to our office building. After examining my tooth, the dentist gave me 2 choice. Either to extract or to do root canal treatment. Oh dear!!! Root Canal is my most scared treatment. Always heard people saying it is a painful process.

However, after asking many questions on the Root Canal treatment, I decided to go ahead with it. I was in pain and did not want to drag it. Also do not want to lose my tooth. I told the dentist that I was afraid of pain and she assured me that she will "highlight" to me during times when there would be sharp pain. Luckily I managed to complete the first treatment. Now I could recall, there were really sharp pain during the process. As I need to continue to work, I took 2 painkillers so that I would not be affected by the pain while working.

Tonight, I try not to take any more of the painkillers. Hope everything will be ok. Next appointment will be 2 weeks later and if all is well, my tooth can be sealed and next step will be to do crowning. Cost will be high to do the crowning but no choice, since I already done root canal, need to protect my tooth. Don't waste the pain I endured during the treatment... Ha ha... My sister said that I must be having great pain that made me done a bravery act to do the treatment. Imagined... I need to ask for anesthesia even when I need to do filling on my tooth. Otherwise, the dentist can never make me open my mouth.

Took porridge during lunch time and was hungry in the evening. Came home and tried to find something to eat. Due to the slight pain, I do not dare to eat solid food. No milo at home and finally ate 2 pieces of Royce chocolate with cereal/nuts. Bite using my 2 front teeth...

Haruma's birthday

Happy Birthday to Haruma!! It's his 20th birthday and is a big day for him. Hope he enjoyed today.

Well, nothing much happened today except work work and work. My bosses are going for business trip from tomorrow onwards and will be away for a week. Yippy! Can enjoy days without bosses again. Ha ha ha... Sad part is we still have to work hard...

I had toothache this few days and today's is quite bad. I am still biting the gum near the part where I feel the pain now. Not sure if it is due to sensitivity which will go off after a while or is there a real problem on my tooth. Pray hard it is just sensitivity which I usually have once in a while. Shall monitor for a few days to decide if I need to see a dentist.

So bad... just got a mosquito bite. So itchy now. Where I am the only got bite??? Blood too sweet? Ha ha ha...

She was so cute and tiny. Was unbearable to eat her but no choice... I still ate her up. Took a photo of her before eating. Cute right???

Stayed at home today. Feeling lazy to go out. I had watched Naruto episodes up to date and looking forward for the next episode. The scene where everyone was so sad to hear Jiraiya's death was so touching and sad. I felt I was in the story standing next to them feeling the sadness. Looks like I was too absorbed to the story.

Well, tomorrow back to work. Hope this week will be a peaceful one although I know I will have a lot of work to do. Cross my fingers and toes...

Relaxing Day

I enjoyed today as it was a rather relaxing day for me. Woke up at 10.30am, took breakfast and sat in front of TV to watch the programs. Followed by watching a few episodes of Naruto before going out for our dinner.

My dad came home rather early so we decided to go out for dinner. My sis suggested to go City Square. All of us ok with it and we took a bus to Kovan MRT station and took a train to Farrer Park MRT station. On our way there, it started to rain. Luckily we were already in the bus hence will not get drench since it will be sheltered all the way.

We were choosing between 2 restaurants and finally decided on Uncle Sam's claypots. Ate once before and felt like eating again. Ordered 1 claypot rice, 1 claypot noodle, a plate of vegetables, otah, wu xiang and tofu.

Luckily we ordered just 2 claypots. Otherwise we would not be able to finish all. With the side dishes, we were so full. Ordered dessert too and I chose chendol. Oh dear, I had this dessert 3 times within 2 weeks. Sinful uh...

After dinner, we went for a walk around the mall. No particular things to buy so just walk for digestion. I went to Comics Connection and saw Yamapi's photographs. Quite tempted to buy them but in the end dropped the idea. A bit pai sei lah. :P

Just went to facebook and got to know that my colleague's wife had delivered. Their first child is named Jerome. Congratulations to the couple!

ごくせん: The Movie

Yo! Finally I managed to watch "ごくせん: The Movie". This movie was released in 2009 but I only got to watch it today. I had missed the movie shown in Singapore last year.

In fact, I found it "accidentally". Was trying to find "Koshonin SP" which 小珠 said that it was all along in *** website but I was so blurred that did not find it. Finally found it today and watched it. Was searching for other shows after finishing "Koshonin SP" and happened to find the movie I was looking for.

This was actually lumped together with "ごくせん Season 3" and I did not know that it was there all along. Was so glad that I managed to watch it. It's just that there was SP before this movie which I still cannot find it. There were so many familiar faces in the movie. It was a gathering for all Kumiko's students. I enjoyed the two movies watched this evening. What a wonderful evening for me. Shall look out for "Koshonin : The Movie" that was released in Feb 2010. :P

Today is holiday and so happy that no need to go to work. But still need to handle some work at home. Still have 2 more days to enjoy before my nightmare week. Next week my 2 colleagues are not around and I will be super the busy. Hope everything will go well...

Moody

Today is first work day of the month and I was so busy clearing emails in the morning. No time to talk to people and was feeling so frustrated as work never be able to finish. I had people chasing for the month end closing and other stuff. That caused my mood to be rather down.

Luckily I had my colleagues who lunch with me that made me felt better after chatting about non work topics. After lunch, I initially would like to eat ice-cream to make myself happier but as I was too full, did not buy in the end. Instead of ice-cream, I bought Spinelli's cookies instead after Tulip's temptation. Bought 2 pieces but just ate one as I was quite full and avoid eating so that I could have my dinner with 小珠.

Today was April Fool but no one in our office remembered that. We were too engrossed with our work. Workaholics uh... Our Hong Kong colleague flew back to Hong Kong and she will start to work on her own from next week onwards. She was here for only 2 weeks but it seems so long to me. Believe she will missed this noisy bunch of colleagues here in Singapore because once she is back in Hong Kong office, it will be like dead town as it is always very quiet.

This evening, we did not go for any movie. Initially thought of watching "Clash of the Titans" but many shows were almost full house with not so good seats left. Therefore, we decided not to watch but to go for dinner only. Left office at around 8.15pm and decided on Coffee Club. This restaurant in HarbourFront Centre usually very quiet as there are not many customers. Perhaps it is due to the location where it is not very prominent.

Ordered something different today. As we were not very hungry, we ordered snacks instead. They were good and glad that we made right choices. We proceeded to Haagen Dazs for dessert. Originally we planned to go for Ben & Jerry but due to no seats available and prices are quite ex, we decided to move over to Haagen Dazs where there were seats available and with just paid a little more, we could enjoy nicer ice-creams.

We ordered 3 scoops with topping. The flavors we, or rather me, chose are Belgium chocolate+Strawberry+Dark chocolate with Orange. Add almond flakes and it was perfect dessert for us to end the long day today. After the dessert, I felt so happy and not moody anymore. :P
