Real busy day

Today is my 3rd week after joining my new company and is the first day I had to work so late. We had a SAP training this morning and expected to take only 4 hrs. However, there seemed to have too many problems and queries that resulted in taking up the full day.

I can say that I am as blur as sotong now and need to learn how to enter sales order & stock allocation during the hands on session tomorrow. It was so rush for us to learn and understand the alien system. Tomorrow will need to continue the training session in the morning and hope we can finish as early as possible.

Due to today's full day training, I had to rush back to office in order to clear my work at 6.30pm. Few of us stayed till 10pm and left office with tiredness.

Think this is start of our nightmares. Hope I will not dream about work tonight. Past few nights, I seemed to dream a lot but could not remember the details... Good luck and only wish for sweet dream.

So tired again

Monday again. Unable to recall that I had any rest over the weekends. :(

Went to work as usual and luckily my colleague gave me a lift hence I could take my own sweet time to bath and prepare for work. I was so tired that I went back to sleep on the sofa. Thank goodness that I managed to wake up on time.

Had lunch at Qiji @ Funan centre. The nasi lemak was good. Second time I had it within 2 weeks. Sinful sinful uh.

Overall, today passed quite fast as I had tasks to complete. Left office rather late today at 8pm. Lucky for me again that my colleague gave me a lift home. It save me a lot of the travelling time. Managed to reach home by 8.30pm and can watch the 9pm channel 8 drama. Quite relaxing sitting on sofa commenting the story of the drama with my parents. :)

No time to play

Today it's Sunday. However, I still had to do my office work at home. Did not have time to complete them on Friday and I had to finish them by today before going back to office on Monday.

No choice lah. Just started new job and there are a lot of things to do. Luckily my niece did not come to our house today. Otherwise, I would have no time to play with her.

My parents went to Toa Payoh temple today and 打包 dinner for us. Yummy Yummy!!! Fried Hokkien noodles, Char Kway Teow, Fried rice and Satay...

All the food were so tasty. These were from the popular hawker centre in Toa Payoh. Next time must go there and eat on the spot. Sure nicer than the 打包 ones.

Good movie

Finally! I sent my draft for May's Hokkaido trip photo book for printing. It will be ready by next Friday. Yippy!

Before our movie, we went back to Just Acia at Dhoby X-change for dinner. Still find the food value for money. We spent almost 10mins deciding on the sets we wanted. It took just less than 10mins for the food to be served. Very efficient no doubt it was full house. Good location for this restaurant to draw diners. Most of the diners were students.

Just came back after watching movie "Air Doll" at National Museum of Singapore. Compared to yesterday's movie, this one was a bit sad. Nozomi was an air doll but one day, she suddenly got a heart and came alive.

She began to learn things that human does and tried to adapt to the environment. However, she had to turn back to a lifeless air doll when her master returned home. While working in a DVD rental shop, she came to know a guy whom she liked. However, the sad part was she killed him unknowingly. Helplessly, she saw him died and that made her had no will to continue living like a human. She gave up her "life" eventually...

Japanese Film Festival 2010

Friday Friday... Finally...

This afternoon, few of my colleagues and I went to Sun with Moon @ The Central for lunch. No special occasion but just felt like eating Japanese food. The location is very near to our office and although we did not make any reservation, there was table available for us without the need to queue up.

We ordered from their set lunch menu. Not many choices but I did take some time to decide on mine. Finally, I ordered the ramen set. Good choice as I like the ramen soup. Spicy and tasty. The portion was real big and we had to finish them slowly. All of us were very satisfied with our lunch.



I was rather busy when back in office after lunch. We need to compile some data and had to complete them by today for submission. That made my day passed faster. During evening, I left office at 7.15pm to meet 小珠 for dinner before the movie.

We had dinner at Just Acia @ Dhoby Ghaut Xchange. The price was reasonable and the set came with free flow ice-cream and drinks. However, the set was too big portion that our stomach could not store more ice-cream!!!

There are a lot of choices and we chose the Spicy Chicken + dumpling & Unagi sets to share. Look at them below. Big portions and looked tasty...

After having our dinner, we proceeded to National Museum of Singapore for the movie. We watched one of the movie under the Japanese Film Festival. Movie title was "Lala Pipo: A Lot Of People". The movie includes stories of a few people which can happen in the real world. The main cast was Hiroki Narimiya and he looked a big old in this movie. Could be due to his makeup. So sad that he did not ended up with the girl he loved.

Tomorrow night, we are watching another movie at 9pm. Movie title is "Air Doll". These two movies are so popular that the organisor has to add more screenings to cater to the overwhelm response. Hope this one will be nice too. :)

Closing ceremony of YOG

Wow... today is the last day of YOG. The closing ceremony started at 7.30pm and I managed to catch a glimpse when I reached home at 8.45pm. Compared to the opening ceremony, tonight did not have a lot of performance.

I thought there will be nice fireworks at end of the ceremony but... do not have lei. So disappointed. There was just a few seconds of fireworks and they were so small... Not those very big and nice ones.

The 2nd YOG will be held in Nanjing in 2014. Glad that I could see the 1st YOG held in Singapore. This should be the first and last one that can be held here.

So fast....

I can't believe that it is Wednesday again. Time really flies. Just a moment ago was Monday and now just left two more days and I can rest again.

Just discovered that the Tim Sum at Mouth restaurant was good. We had lunch with our customer at the Chinatown Point branch. My colleagues mentioned that previously, the food there was not so good. However, today's was real nice. I told my sister and perhaps we can bring our parents there one of these days.

Had finished watching Shugo Chara Doki (season 3). Took a glimpse to season 4 which is Shugo Chara Party. This series include anime and live action segments. Hope it will be nice too. :)

Nice and cosy apartment

This afternoon, my colleague drove us to her apartment after lunch. She just took over her key from the previous tenant. The apartment is just a year old and looks very new. It is so well kept.

It is not very big and is a penthouse that suits expatriate. The shower room is so open concept that people from nearest building that is on same level can see "everything". To me, it feels like we are in a resort like Banyan Tree that has open air bath facility. Hee hee...

I reached home and realised that there was so much food left for dinner. Usually I do not take dinner but today, I "helped" to clear some. Up till now, my stomach is still very bloated. A bit uncomfortable uh...

Morning Sunny Evening Raining

Monday again! So fast.

Most of my time spent on telecon today. Need to get quotations from various vendors. This made the day passed faster. One of our Oslo colleague is in town and we brought him to eat Marutama ramen. The weather was so hot during lunch time and my boss complained that he was so tired after walking to and fro The Central. He is too used to driving out for lunch instead of walking.

I thought finally it was not raining as the sun was so big and hot. However, it suddenly turned dark and rained in the evening. So unpredictable uh.

Back home early today at 8pm as my colleague gave me a lift. My mum was so shocked that I came home earlier than my sister and father. Hee hee...

Working at home

My niece came to our house but I did not have much time to play with her. While she was doing her homework, I started mine too. I had to finish compiling some data for my colleague. Managed to learn some excel spreadsheet tips from 小珠 and this helped me a lot. Otherwise, I would have done the long way to get it done.

I did spend a while to play NDS game Mario Kart with my niece. Again, I lost to her. Did not know that her "skill" is so good. Well... perhaps I am old now and cannot reach her skill. Haha...

My mum not cooking for dinner and we went to nearest cafe for dinner. Not very crowded and we agreed that their service had dropped a lot. The employees like no mood to work and we had to call them few times before they noticed us and the lady boss had to take order from us. Food wise, the standard dropped a bit. Do not know whether these are the reasons why their business is not good. Usually, it will be full house very fast but today, it was still emptied when we finished our dinner at 7.15pm.

Came home and continued to do my work and finally completed by 8.30pm. Phew! Could relax and watched J-drama "Gold". In episode 7, it was so touching on the scene of the main actress thinking of her 4th child who was not in existence at all. All along, I really thought that was her real child and he was so adorable. Now come to think of it, he rarely talked to any one else and he was just a non existence person. Just one child who was dearly missed by her mum. So sad...

Fruitful day

The weather today was good hence my sister suggested to go to Marina Bay Sands since we never been there since its opening. We took train to Promenade station and had our lunch at Nantsuttei at Parco Marina Bay. There were a few restaurants and we decided on this one since my sister said that usually it had long queue but today there was none. Worth to try this Ramen restaurant without the need to queue.

This is an authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant serving original ramen from Japan. There are not many choices. Only one signature soup base which differs from other ramen. The ramen was very Q and soup base unique. There were traces of black particles and they were ma-yu (sesame oil) with fried garlics. The soup was a bit salty but guess this is typical for ramen. Overall not bad.



We took a walk to Marina Bay Sands and on the way there, we walked past Youth Olympic Park and took some photos. Just nice that the event is still on-going and we could took photos of Merly and Lyo, YOG flame burning gloriously at Marina Bay Float, the Helix bridge, the Singapore Flyer etc. The weather was hot when I was taking the photos and sweat just flew down "freely". Same like what I experienced in Tokyo last month. Sacrificed my image just to take photos. Hahaha...



Spent about 3 hours there and took a bus to Ngee Ann City. We went to Takashimaya to shop and I ended up buying a new pair of shoe. However, this was subsidised by my sister who had some vouchers. I just paid $12 for the $55 shoe. Worth it lah.

Had our dinner at Coffee Club and I ordered the same Herbs fish fillet which I had on Wednesday. However, it was different from what I had earlier. There was basically no sauce at all. The sauce was the main attraction for me to order again and so bad... there was just "drops" of sauce on the plate. Next time will go back to HarbourFront branch.



This was how I spent the day. Fully utilised my whole day. :)

Tiring day...

This morning, it rained again and the weather was so cool that I really refused to get out of bed when the alarm rang. How I wish today is not a working day. Too bad, that was just my wishful thinking.

Had a mini gathering during lunch time with my ex-colleagues. We talked a lot and enjoyed the Marutama ramen at The Central. We were given seats in a small room hence it was a "private" room for us to gossip and ended up spending almost 1 1/2hrs for this lunch. There were so much things for us to talk about. Will arrange another session again.

I was doing data compilation this whole day. As my laptop has small screen and no desktop monitor available at this time, my eyes were so tired after starring at the screen for so long. With little little black words on the screen, I was straining my eyes to look at them. This was bad but again... no choice lah. Have to wait till we have proper office for full equipment given to us.

Went for movie tonight and had dinner at McDonald before the show. So coincidence that we saw Wang Lee Hom at the cinema before getting into the theater. We saw there were people holding cameras and waiting at the 2nd floor of VivoCity cinema. Not a lot of them but with this crowd, something must be happening. True enough, we saw Wang Lee Hom walking out of the GoldClass theater. He was holding a box of popcorn and enjoying it while walking out. We had a very close view on him.

Watched "Frozen" and we really felt freezing during the show. It was so tense at some point and there were disgusting scenes which we tried to avoid looking at them. I closed my eyes to the minimum to have glimpse of the scenes. 小珠 completely avoided the scenes.

Overall not bad. Moral of the story : Do not take chairlift to skiing resort etc at late hour. Do take mobile phone with you at all time. Do not leave stomach empty when you go for skiing. Bring titbits with you at all time.

Rain or Sunshine

Ai yoh!!! Recently, the weather was like "变脸".

We went out for lunch with big big sun and ended up walking back with small small drops of rain. No umbrella and I had to sacrifice my hair (became flattened when got wet)... Luckily it was not heavy rain, otherwise...

Strange weather continues for few weeks. It seems like it will rain everyday. Either in the morning or afternoon. By right, this timing should not have so much rain but do not know why it turns up this way. Global warming??? Maybe...

Left office at 7.15pm and got a free ride home as my colleague was driving today and we are staying very near to each other. No need to squeeze into MRT train today. Happy happy. :)

Something happened

Today, I experienced something which I never had before. Guess what??? I was trapped in a lift for 30mins! Never believe that this can still happen in Singapore.

3 colleagues and myself went into on of the lift that led to our office at 6th floor. After the door closed, the lift bounced a bit and suddenly not moving. There were 14 pax inside the lift with no aircon or fan. Spoke over intercom with the building management office and was told that they had to call the technician in.

As there were so many of us and no fresh air, we were perspiring and trying to fan ourselves with envelopes/papers. We kept calling the management office and they could not do anything except to ask us to wait for the technician. Few of the passengers were very frustrated and kept grumbling. I tried to keep myself cool as the more we got frustrated, the more hotter we will feel. Actually hor... I was ok because there were so many people to accompany me! Ha ha ha...

When the technician arrived and door opened, all of us were so happy to get out of the lift to breathe fresh air. My colleagues and me now banned this lift. Did not trust it anymore and have to prevent recurrence.

This evening, I met up with 小珠 and had dinner at coffee club before our movie at 8.55pm. We ordered 2 set of main course and one dessert from their new menu. They were so tasty and I will definitely go and patronise again.

We were a bit late for our movie and was so shocked that it had already started when we went in by 9.05pm. Usually there will be commercial advertisements and trailers which take up about 20mins. Perhaps they cut down these during weekdays. Luckily we did not miss the beginning and enjoyed the whole show.

This movie "Street Dance" was good. Although there was no subtitles and I was a bit worried, majority of the show was on dancing. I liked their dancing and they were real good. Music was good too. Luckily that we managed to watch this movie before it is put down. :)

2 more days to go and it will be Friday again. Another movie day!

Weird weather

This morning, I reached Cityhall Mrt station and was glad that it was not raining. Weather was sunny. Finally no need to use my umbrella. Reached office rather early today.

We went to Qiji cafe at Funan Centre for lunch and was so shocked that it was so crowded no doubt time was 1.30pm. Managed to get seats and most of us ordered nasi lemak. Side dish was popiah and we were satisfied with the food as it was freshly made. Previously we ate from packet lunchbox where it turned cold when we had them.

After lunch, weather was still sunny but suddenly it rained after an hour. It rained quite heavily and we were so worried that it would not stop at evening. Actually hor... only few of us worried. Reason was because most of our colleagues drive!!!

I was able to leave office early at 7.20pm without rain and by the time I walked to Cityhall Mrt station, it was 7.30pm. So bad... I could not get into the train and had to miss 2 trains before I could board the train back to the east side. They should put more trains during peak hours!!!

Really beezee

When I left home this morning, the weather looked perfectly good. However, once I reached Cityhall Mrt station, I felt that it was raining when I was taking escalator up to the main road. True enough, it was raining.

Believe it just started to rain and I decided to wait for a while till the raining was not heavy. I did have an umbrella but I would definitely get wet as the rain was quite heavy. Waited for 5 min and began to walk towards office. So bad... The rain became not so heavy when I reached office. Should wait for another 5 min lah.

Our big big boss is in town for this 2 days. As we just joined the company, he decided to fly in to meet us. Of course lah, not only to meet us only. I believe he wants to come over to know us plus to let us know his targets for us to achieve. We had lunch at Lei Garden @ CHIJMES. It had been a long time since I last dined at CHIJMES. Noticed that the maid cafe there had closed down and replaced by other restaurant.

After lunch, we went for offsite meeting until 6pm and continued another session with boss until 9pm. What a hectic day for all of us. Luckily I started work last week that gave me a relaxing start. My boss worked till so late on this first day of work. So glad that we started before him.

Hopefully, not everyday we have to stay that late. Pray hard uh.

No dramas/animes today

Woke up and found myself feeling better today. Headache gone and glad that I could enjoy this Sunday.

My elder sister family not coming over today as my brother-in-law went fishing and my sister had something to attend to. Therefore, I could watch TV programs peacefully without my niece switching to Okto channel.

I received SMS from my colleague that she was so sad that no online drama to watch today as the website was turned off for a day. Therefore, I could not continue watching updated episodes of J-drama and animes today.

Spent most of my time watching SCV channel programs and did some of my office work. Not really work lah... Just preparing some excel spreadsheet templates.

A day passed so fast and tomorrow is the beginning of my nightmares...

Day resting at home

It's Saturday and a day for me to be lazy at home. There was nothing in my mind to buy hence did not want to go for shopping. My mum was tired too so did not hint to us that she wanted to go out for a walk. I had headache and felt so tired and tend to lay on the sofa with frequent massaging on my head to soothe the pain.

She cooked rice in the morning for our dinner tonight. Only 1 dish for us today and its our favorite fried rice. I loved my mum's fried rice. More more ingredients that made our saliva drooling while she was frying the fried rice. Could not resist and always get our portion as early as possible. :P

Today is YOG opening day. I missed watching the opening ceremony. My sister watched and she said it was super. So sad that I had missed it. I did not know that my sister was watching in my parent's bedroom. Otherwise, I would have join her. :(

Basically did nothing today. Just staying indoor watching TV and online animes.

Movie time again

So fast that a week has passed and today its movie day for me again. Believe today is my last relaxing day before a whole bunch of busy schedule from next week onwards. My boss will start work on coming Monday and we already know that he has a full list of agenda to discuss with us.

Supposed to leave office early to meet 小珠 for dinner before our movie at 9.10pm. However, was delayed due to a last minute discussion with colleagues. Ended up to leave office only at around 7.45pm. Luckily my colleague gave me a lift to Vivo City so that I could save some travelling time.

Watched movie "Liar Game - The Movie" and we enjoyed the whole show. It made a wonderful ending for the whole series and the movie had no boring part at all. I was trying to concentrate to ensure I could catch what was the game plot about. In the drama series, some time the game was set so complicated that I could not catch it. I believe all fans of "Liar Game" will like this movie.

The movie ended at 11.30pm and we quickly left the cinema so as to catch the train to connect East West line at Outram station. Was lucky and managed to get onto the train and saved us from taking cabs home. :)

I can feel the stress now

Today, most of our team members were in office hence we had a informal discussion on what we need to do for our business. We will have lots of meetings and discussions from now onwards. End of my relaxing days. There are so many to-do lists and we begin to feel the stress to complete the task on setting up the new business. Hope all goes well.

Had a rather long meeting at 4pm and ended at 6.30pm. I was feeling so tired near to 6pm and eyes were closing. Luckily the meeting did not drag too long and we could go back by 6.45pm. :)

Tomorrow is Friday. Happy uh! Movie time...

Relax

Another relaxing day for me where most of my time in office, I spent to familiarize with Microsoft office 2010 version. However, after spending so much time, still could not figure out all the functions and prefers the older version. Guess I will need to spend extra time to create new spreadsheet. I will also having problem with inbox exchange format for 2010 version. So difficult... No choice lah. Have to get use to it.

We decided to watch Liao Game this Friday and Streetdance on next Wednesday. Looking forward to the 2 movies. :)

First day of work

Finally ends my first day of work. Very relaxing day for me. This week will be honeymoon week in our temporary office. Next week onwards will be busy as we will have lots and lots of meetings.

Managed to leave office by 6.30pm. MRT train was so packed that I had to squeeze in and had to stand all the way to Pasir Ris station from City Hall station.

However, the feeling was so good to be at home before 8pm. Shall enjoy this priviledge while I can. :P

Happy Birthday to Singapore!

Happy Birthday to Singapore! It's her 45th birthday today!

Woke up with happy mood as today we are celebrating National Day and my last "honeymoon" for this period. Need to fully utilise whole of today.

We went out by 11am as we were having a family lunch at Crystal Jade Kitchen restaurant at Ngee Ann City. It was so crowded that we had to wait for almost 30mins to get a table. We need a big table and there were limited ones in the restaurant. Ate until so full and we went for shopping at Takashimaya Dept store.

Bought an umbrella for my mum as her current umbrella was small in size and heavy. Wow... not cheap one uh. It costs $39.51 after 10% discount. My niece also had a present from me. Bought toys for her and she was so happy. Shopped around for a while and went for coffee break as we were all very thirsty. In fact, not much time to shop as we wanted to go home earlier so that we could watch NDP 2010 at home.

My younger sister's laptop had some problem and sent for re-install operating system this morning. So shocked to know that most of the shops were opened today at Funan Centre. Her laptop was ready at evening time so we collected it before going home.

Just finished watching NDP 2010 and I feel that this year's program is very good. So much better than last year's. I felt so bored watching last year's parade. Good job for all who contributes to this year's successfull parade. "P

My niece very obedient today

My niece came and did not mention about her present. I believed she forgot all about it. Her usual practice was to do her homework before play.

As I had some work to do too, I sat beside her and told her that we would do our homework together. When she saw that I was doing my work, she done hers too. However, she got distracted when I finished mine. She started to complain "so hot, so boring etc". After a while, she said she wanted to go to 7-Eleven. Knowing her pattern, her mum brought her to 7-Eleven to treat as a break for her.

When she was back, she looked totally different. So energetic and happy to have her favorite drink. Continued to do her homework and finished in a short while. She needs break when she feels so grumpy. After that, she continued to watch TV as SCV has free channels during these few days and she wanted to watch Cartoon Network.

She was so obedient all the way and strange to say she wanted to eat dinner when it was still early. Must be too hungry liao. Today was the first time she did not get scolding from her mum for not doing her homework properly. Keep it up lah.

Tomorrow we plan to go to Takashimaya departmental store for some shopping. Since it is holiday, my elder sister wants to bring my niece out for a walk. Usual Saturday and Sunday she has classes hence cannot go out. Will have lunch with our whole family and shop a while before going back home by 4pm. My mum wants to watch the broadcast National Parade.

So fast... tomorrow is Singapore's 45th birthday. Happy birthday! Singapore!

Cool

Wow... Today is a cool cool day. Rained this am and rest of the day, indoor temperature still ok. It rather made me felt sleepy but... I did not take any nap! Good achievement. Otherwise, I will have problem sleeping tonight.

Tried to sort the Japan trip photos. Still not complete yet but will try to do so asap so that I can send them for printing. My May trip photo book artwork is done but yet to send for printing. Initially thought of doing so yesterday but I forgot to bring my flashdisk.

Watched some new anime episodes today and look forward for next week episodes. How I wish Naruto can be aired daily. It is so exciting now.

Tomorrow will see my niece again. She is waiting to come over to our house to get her present. Heard from my mum that she was looking for us last weekend and did not know that we yet to be back. Children likes presents. So do adults. Ha ha...

Last "Free" Friday

Today is the last "free" Friday that I can enjoy before start work next week. Believe will be busy all the way now.

Spent most of the day outside running errands and met up with 小珠 for dinner before the movie started at 6.55pm. One of my ex-colleague joined us for chit chat and glad to have this catch up session.

After watching "The Last Airbender", we found that the 3D effect was not much and the story was a bit "weird". One of the scene was so funny that the bad guy was posing for his powerful blow but was killed by the good guys before he posed. Ha ha...

This is the first book : Water and should have another 2 books since website mentioned this is a trilogy.

Singapore National Day is approaching and the atmosphere is different as I can see flags everywhere and songs relating to National Day being aired in TV, children in childcare centre singing songs... Shall look forward to the National Day Parade on Monday. :)

Idling

Today I spent most of my time idling at home. Surfed net, eat, take nap and watched TV programs. Relaxing but still feel tired now. Must be the tiredness brought forward by the trip.

小珠 helped to buy tickets for tomorrow movie "The Last Airbender" and it will be movie time again. Initially thought of watching "Streetdance" but the timing for next week is too tight for me to rush for the early show hence decided to watch "The Last Airbender" tomorrow and watch "Streetdance" next week.

Have to sleep now. Eyes rather tired and tomorrow has to wake up early.

Rest

Woke up rather early this morning and accompanied my mum to White sands shopping mall. We had our early lunch at the Kopitiam and went to buy some food for tonight. My mum cooking tonight but think that food was not enough hence bought curry chicken from Water Rise. I love their curry as it is very tasty.

Did not have any thing in mind to buy hence we went home after buying the curry chicken. Strange weather. It was still raining when we reached but it was so sunny when we on our way to the bus interchange.

Back home and rest a bit by watching TV programs. Good day.

Back in Singapore

This morning, we took NEX train to airport terminal 1 at 6.43am. Reached airport at 8.20am and had our breakfast at Mcdonald. We shopped for almost 2 hours and went in to clear immigration. After that, continued our last minute shopping. Our flight was at 11.30am and although we had 3 hours to shop, it was still insufficient. Initially I still thought we had too much time in the airport. Ha ha...

Reached home at around 6.15pm. My mum did not know we are back today hence did not cook our dinner. However, we were not hungry hence just ate a piece of cake which meant to be my brother's birthday cake (his birthday was on 31 Jul). Unpacked and washed all our clothing.

So fast that holiday is over. Now, I left 1 week to R & R before my first day of work next Tues. So sad...

Day 5 ~ Disney Sea

The weather was considered good today ~ not raining. Was glad that we need not worry to get wet in Disney Sea park. However, we had to do extra work to keep ourselves sheltered today. I was liked a lobster after my Disney Land trip few days ago. Did not use Umbrella for first few hours and ended up having sun burnt. My neck and shoulder are so red.

We used our hats initially but it was too windy and we had to change to umbrellas. This park is near to the sea hence very windy (but the temperature was still high). We ensured we had our umbrellas where ever we went. Took quite a few rides and I tried the Tower of Terror. It was not that scary and glad that I took the ride. We took all the major rides except one 360 roller coaster ride. We ran out of time and need to catch the night parade hence forgo the ride.

The night parade was good and we did the same thing tonight. Shopped after the parade. By the time we left the park, it was already 9.30pm. We had dinner at Mcdonald near our hotel. Took the Ebi burger meal and was so satisfied with the meal. Singapore does not have this Ebi burger.

So fast... tomorrow we are flying back home. Quite a good trip and is a good break for me, although a bit tired. Need to sleep early tonight as we need to get out of hotel by 6am tomorrow to catch our train at 6.43am.

Day 4 ~ Shopping time again

Itinerary today was to go to Akihabara, Ueno, Harajuku and Shinjuku. Bought a few Sanrio Iphone jackets at Akihabara. So happy but sad that I spent money again on my Iphone "clothing". If I did not buy, I am sure I will regret. Hee hee.

At Ueno, it was so hot and humid. We zoomed into the titbits store and bought some goodies there. Was a bit disappointed as the shop now selling lessor items. No kitkats there. My favourite chocolate bars also no more.

We were carrying 2 bags hence decided to head back to hotel first before going to Harajuku since the direction was on the way. Just need to spend extra 20 mins. 4 mins to and fro plus 12 mins of going up to our room and freshen ourselves before continuing our shopping.

Ate crepe at Harajuku and it was crowded as usual no doubt the weather was so hot. People still went there to shop. Went to Kiddyland and spent time searching souvenirs for my little niece. Managed to buy some stationeries for her. I bought another My Melody Iphone jacket there. Oh dear. Better don't let me see more cute ones. Did not see any cosplay there as believe it was due to the hot weather.

Next we went to Shinjuku. It was already 6pm and we were tired again. Our legs giving way and therefore, we decided to go for early dinner first. Today's dinner was our earliest. Past 2 days, we had them at 11pm. Ordered a set that had pork cutlet with rice and cold soba. The view from the restaurant was good too.

We were trying to find our way to Lumine departmental store supermarket but in the end, we routed to Takashimaya building. It was closed to 8pm and we quickly bought few packets of biscuits as souvenirs. The Shinjuku area was too big and I was so confused and decided not to stay long there as our legs were aching again. I missed eating my favourite Mister Donut and Baskin Robbins 31 ice-cream. No choice lah. Too tired.

Will need to massage my legs tonight to prepare for the long walk tomorrow at Disney Sea.
