J drama chase

Reached home at 9.40pm and rushed to watch j dramas. However, still ended up stuck to watch the china drama (新环珠格格).

In the end, today could not watch 3 epi again. Guess can only complete 2 the most. Try again tomorrow liao.

Unlucky and bad day

Today was alright until bad news came after lunch. Problem in my work and now there are few cases for me to handle. So unlucky. Initially thought today will be a good day but....

Rather tired today. How I wish it is Friday again. Day dreaming again.

Left office earlier today and managed to reach home before 9.30pm. So good and can have more time to watch PPS.

Sunday Sun Day

Today is Sunday and really a Sun Day. No rain and the weather was so hot.

My niece came and she watched PPS next to me. She still like Doremon.

Finally when my younger sis came back, she pestered her to play monopoly deal with her. Too bad... I still cannot figure out how to play. Looks complicated uh.

So fast. End of weekend.

Courts Mega sale

Went shopping at Centerpoint Robinson and saw there were so many different types of mattress. Still cannot decide which one to buy. Just to have a feel on the prices. Took an application form for Robinson card and shall decide if to just sign up in case I decide to buy bed frame + mattress from Robinson. There is a 5% rebate for card members. Although they are having sales now but I cannot buy first as yet to get key for new house and do not know how/where to place my bed. Dimensions yet to be measured so place safe don't buy first.

It was raining so we walked to the next door mall. We went to Courts to look for the prices for the mattress. They do not carry Simmons/Serta/Sealy. Walked to see the fridges to check any good model and also washing machine. They are having mega sales this weekend.

In the end, I committed on a fridge and washing machine. Both under the promotion items for this weekend. 10 sets available for each branch hence price rather reasonable. I bought a 2 door LG fridge that costs $499 (Usual price $749, excl this weekend $595)) and Sanyo 8kg washing machine at $389 (Usual price $500+). Paid deposit of $100 first. As I am not sure when will I be moving in, just put a tentative date in Jan. Shall change date once decided later. The deposit was to reserve on the price and not the stock. If by then, no stock, I can choose the alternate model offered or to choose another model. Courts has many models and brands to choose from so no worries. Just lock in my position. Haha.

Had a very good dinner at Ritz Carlton Greenhouse. I under performed today. Ate just one round of ice-cream (6 small scoops) and 2 pair of lobsters. But I ate 14 pcs of oysters. There were 4 different kinds of oysters today. Sashimi was good too. Fresh prawns were good too. Cakes were good too. Aiyoh, everything super good!!!

Happy Feet 2

Today, the atmosphere in office was like Christmas eve. Not much activities and it really felt like holiday eve. Perhaps its Friday too that everyone was in a very relax mood.

We went for lunch at 1pm and back in office at around 3.25pm. Luckily boss not back yet. He also went to eat snake. Booked massage session for 2 hours! Haha...

Not many sales enquiries today hence I could do my work slowly. Left office at around 8.15pm and had desserts (or should it be dinner?) at Max Brenner Chocolate Bar. Craving for the waffles. Completed our meal within 1 hour and we were not late for our movie. We watched "Happy Feet 2" and it was a very warm story. I like little Eric. Soooo cute and adorable.

Tomorrow, had to wake up early as my mum has doctor appointment at The Central @ Clarke Quay. Plan is to have lunch and go for shopping. Evening, I am giving a treat to my parents and younger sis as a celebration of receiving bonus for the year.

Will be having dinner at The Greenhouse @ Ritz Carlton. No credit card promotion is applicable and the price per pax is $82++ due to the spread includes festive dishes. Nevermind lah. Most important is food is good and has good quality. Everyone happy = I happy.

Celebration

This morning, all of our team members received the letter announcing our bonus amount. My colleague suggested to have lunch for celebration. Initially, we girls decided to go to Akashi Japanese restaurant. However, changed to Takumi Tokyo at Marina Keppel after my boss suggested it.

Booked a table for 9 pax and we reached there at about 1pm. We decided on the set menu that cost $15++ but overwritten by my boss to order the set menu that cost $35++. This set was more worth hence he just ordered for all. Adding sashimi sushi and hand roll.

The set was so tempting and it taste good. Very worth it. All of us enjoyed the food. In the end, we did not pay for the lunch. Our plan was to go on dutch but my boss paid for it (he can claim). Since we did not pay ourselves, we plan to go to Akashi Japanese restaurant again to celebrate one more time. :P

Now, I am having back ache. Not sure why suddenly like dat. :(

Happy day

This afternoon, we went out for lunch at Vivo City and back in office only at 3.45pm. Need to run errands. Boss said we all 造反了!

Not many enquiries this evening hence I was able to leave office earlier. Finally got letter from boss on bonus. Hee hee... I can use the money to help on my renovation of my house.

Still tired. Will try to rest earlier tonight. Yesterday, still slept late at 1.30am.

Tired Tired Tired x millions billions times

Morning 6am being waken up by phone call. Bad news for one of our deliveries and it made me unable to get back to sleep as need to follow up with various parties. In the end, disturbed my colleagues by waking them up to settle the problem.

Back in office and continued to solve the issue. Big big issue! Last night already knew this would happened but could not prevent it. Whole afternoon apologizing to many parties. This is not the end. Tomorrow continue to follow up.

Disturbed my sleep and it made me felt so sleepy and tired the whole day. Need to sleep earlier tonight if possible.

Sleepy

Today, I felt so sleepy since morning. How I wish today is still Saturday or Sunday.

Back to work and once I reached home, I felt my whole body collapsing soon. With eyes so tired but still want to watch TV and surf net.

Still have many epi of J-dramas to watch. Think today can only watch one. Just finished watching TV program after reaching home at 11pm.

No time

Woke up rather late this morning at 11am. Kept those luggage that were used during our Taiwan trip. Kept those electrical appliances I bought during Tefal warehouse sale. Finally, the living room is no longer messy.

My niece came today. She was so happy when I passed her the gift I bought from Tokyo. In the end, her mum said her house can open a stationery store. She has so many pens and pencils. I think all kids at this age will go through this stage. Last time, I also same like her.

Tomorrow back to work. There is one outstanding issue yet to solve and tomorrow will be busy day to handle it. Pray hard that everything will go smoothly.

Walked and walked

This afternoon, I went to Orchard Ion with my sis and mum. We went for lunch and shopped at Tangs @ Scott. Shopped at the basement household department and I ended up buying a ceramic knife that I think it is useful. My mum bought one too and some other utensils.

The knife was from Japan. Saw it at Franc Franc but did not really took a look that time. There was a promoter there and I tried cutting carrot using the knife. It was good. The promoter said that if uses this knife to cut fruits, it won't get oxidize so easily. However, it can only use to cut vegetables and fruits. Not for cutting meat.

We walked to Takashimaya and shopped for a while. Felt so tired after walking for long time and wanted to sit down for drinks. It was so difficult to find a proper place for a cup of drinks. Cedele was so crowded. Coffee bean cafe no longer there. Fountain near exhibition area all full of people. In the end, managed to find a table at Yoshinoya. I think Ngee Ann City needs more cafes.

Orchard lighting up was tonight. We managed to see the whole stretch of Orchard road lighted up with white and blue lightings. Very nice. Simple and nice. I like blue and white theme for Christmas. So fast uh... One more month to go and it's Christmas. Year 2011 going to an end soon.

Long waiting

After missing so many weeks, finally we watched movie tonight. We watched 9pm show for "Immortals". Quite a nice movie but so sad that near to the end, I was disturbed by work and could not catch some of the parts. Luckily most parts I did not missed.

Today was a rather peaceful day. My boss was in super good mood and this made our day better. At least he happy = we happy.

Finally I could have longer sleep tomorrow. Came back from Tokyo on Monday and it seems to me that it was so long time ago. This proves that the trip was too short lah.

First appointment

This morning, I took train from Pasir Ris station to Paya Lebar station in order to change to circle line for destination at Toa Payoh via Bishan station. Got a mixed up and went to wrong platform at Paya Lebar station. Lost 4 mins.

When I reached Bishan station, I got into wrong platform again. Lost another 4 mins. In the end, I was late for 6 mins. All caused by my blur blur bugs.

Met up with my aunt (my housing agent) and when we reached HDB Hub, the seller of the house was already there. It was quite smooth today and we completed our transaction by 10.30am. After which, I went to law firm to complete some paperwork for the loan with UOB bank.

Had lunch at Sizzler and it was good. Worth for money. I took 2 bowls of cream of mushrooms soup. The salad bar spread was super good. Next time can bring my mum there.

I can collect key for my newly purchase HDB flat by 29 Dec. Am trying to find a contractor now. Not sure if there is still enough time to complete the renovation before CNY.

Rather tired

Rather tired today. Initially thought of watching J-drama tonight but was unable to do so because I watched TV program instead. Hence I can only find some time tomorrow to watch at least one epi. :)

Tomorrow has to wake up earlier as I have to go to HDB hub.

Too tired to write more hence short and sweet for today.

Back in office

Reached office and first thing heard was from my boss asking where did I go. I told him Tokyo and then he realised I went for same trip as 小珠. He said that we were addicted and need to go to Japan every year.

My colleagues did not tell him where I went to when he asked yesterday. He must be thinking why it was so secretive. In fact, he was ok with us taking few days only and I only took 1 day. He asked why I did not go on the same day as 小珠 and I told him I could not as my immediate supervisor was on biz trip. We did not want to put too much inconvenience to other colleagues. This was because both of us just came back from holidays.

My boss liked the cookies I bought from the airport. He also said the ticket I bought from MAS was cheap.

Next time, we can consider taking 2 days leave. One on Friday and another on Monday to have more time spent in Tokyo for shopping and eating.

Whole day travelling

I left hotel at 6am as the NEX train seat I reserved was for 6.43am from Ikebukuro. Ikebukuro was so near that I only spent 10 mins from the time I board the train from Otsuki station to Ikebukuro station and walked to the platform. I took some time to look for the lift up to the platform. No way for me to carry the luggage up the stairs.

As it was so early, I just sat on the chair to wait for NEX. Nice weather for these 2 days. Sunny day and most of the time for today, I did not wear my jacket. Too hot uh.

Reached Narita airport and started my shopping splee again. Bought one big bag of titbit for home and office. I had to carry the big and heavy bag while in transit at KL airport. Hence, did not move around and sat near the gate from 5.15pm to 7pm. Flight back to Sin is 7.30pm.

My whole day was to travel from Narita to KL then to Sin. Reached Sin at 8.30pm.

I think I was lucky that the 2 days I was in Tokyo did not rain. Otherwise, shopping will be difficult. Glad that I managed to go for this trip. Tired but very happy.

Another long day

Had a very good sleep last night and I managed to sleep alone. Maybe due to room not too big hence felt like sleeping at home. :P

We proceeded to the park as a trip to see change of colour for autumn. The park was so big and although we did not walk around the whole place, it took us about 3 hours there. Walked until we were so tired and had to take rest by finding seats. Shared one blueberries yogurt ice-cream in the park. So nice uh. Not so milky.

We had lunch at the station near the park. Had cold buck wheat soba with tempura. So nice uh. We treat 小珠 as celebration of her birthday although I missed her actual day. She flew to Tokyo on that day itself and I only joined them yesterday.

After lunch, we went to Harajuku. Initial plan to have just 2 hours there but we spent about 4 hours there. Included time to go to a Burberry Blue Label store near Omotesando. Since we already went to a Blue Label store, we decided to skip Ginza as we had no time. Rushed to Ueno to buy titbit as we realised we did not buy enough. Oh yah. Bought stationeries for my niece at Kiddyland and got an Agnes B bag for my elder sister.

Reached the shop at 7.10pm and not much time for us to slowly choose as it closed at 7.30pm. I just grabbed whatever I think I like and paid on time.

The items I bought was so heavy and with my tired legs, I simply could not walk fast. Same for Tulip. We decided to just go back to hotel and bought McDonald burgers for dinner. We ate the burgers at the hotel lobby and chit chat a while. After that, went back to room for showers and chit chat again. I have to catch 10.30 flight tomorrow hence need to sleep earlier.

So fast, 2 days gone. How I wish I can stay longer.

Arrived in Tokyo

After transit at KL, finally touched down at Narita airport at ard 7.15am. It took quite some time to clear immigration as there was only one counter opened for foreign passport holders. After some time, we were directed slowly to those priority lane and locals lanes.

My plan was to catch the 8.16am NEX to Ikebukuro. Time ticking away and after collecting my luggage, it was already 7.50am. I quickly queued up to purchase the Suica + NEX package card and finally able to catch the train. Did a small mistake and I almost got wrong ticket. I was heading for Otsuka station but by error, I told the counter lady that I was heading for Otsuki. Otsuka was just a station away from Ikebukuro. Otsuki was many stations away from Shinjuku station. Luckily I managed to realise the error before I reserved the wrong seat.

After I reached Ikebukuro station, made another stupid mistake. Happily saw the train for Yamanote line and just board. Only realised that I board wrong direction train when it announced next station is Meijiro. So I had to get out and took the opposite direction train back to Otsuka (Yamanote line is a loop service).

The hotel was very easy to locate. Just about 2 mins from the station. Before I got in to Toyoko inn, already saw 小珠 waving at me through the window. Felt so homely to have some one welcoming me. :)

After checking in, I kept my luggage at 小珠 and Tulip's room as my room ready only by 3pm. We left the hotel at around 10.45am and started our shopping. First destination was to the Mitsui Outlet mall. Ate lunch there and I bought some household items from Franc Franc. Also one small Agnes B bag. Cheap so can buy lor.

Next, we went to Shinjuku's Takashimaya, Isetan, Kinokuniya and went back to hotel with tired legs. Hope day walking. I bought total 5 bags today. Hit my target to buy bags. 1 from Agnes B outlet mall, 2 from Agnes B at Isetan, 1 from Samantha Thavasa and 1 from Samantha Vega.

Very satisfied today and I also managed to eat the ramen that I was craving for so long at Shinjuku. Nice soup base. Yummy yummy.

We went back to hotel and spent some time chatting and taking photos of our purchased items.

Sleeping alone tonight. I think I will lay flat tonight. Did not sleep on the plane.

Friday Friday. Its Friday.

Here I am at T2 waiting for flight to KL. Transit in KL for plane to Narita airport.

Am flying alone this time round. But will meet the 2 ladies at Tokyo. They must have enjoyed the 2 days there.

Hope I have good seats today so that I can enjoy my flying alone time. :)

One more day

Yippy! I finally submitted my leave for Monday and it was approved. My boss's mood super good and I quickly passed him the form. He just asked why I took 1 day off and I told him I have a weekend trip. I think he did not know that I am taking same day leave as 小珠. Since only 1 day, shd be ok lah.

小珠 and Tulip are in Tokyo now. Heard that Tulip shopped until backache. Saturday and Sunday will be my turn. Shop and shop. Eat and eat. Shall enjoy.

Tomorrow I need to leave office early so that I can reach home before the peak hour at 4.30pm onwards. Hope boss don't "scream" uh! I'm still working mah.

Tired afternoon

Had a busy afternoon where I bought some snacks for 3 of my customers. Did not go for customer visit for almost a month and need to establish closer relationship with them hence bought snacks for them since I have no time to lunch or have coffee with them.

After moving around for the whole afternoon, I was very tired when I reached office at almost 5pm. One of my customer said I looked very tired. Oh dear...

Left office late today. I was clearing some of my work and 小珠 got to clear her work as she is on leave from tomorrow onwards. Her flight to Tokyo is tomorrow 6am together with Tulip. I will meet them on Saturday.

Wow... so fast lei. 2 more days to go.

Late for work

This morning, there was a massive jam from East Coast to Keppel Road. Car broke down alert was given but we did not see any along the way. Must be raining plus drivers too kpo liao. We were caught in the jam for more than 30mins at ECP.

Evening was chaotic. I had so many enq coming in and could not handle all at same time. Hope tomorrow will not be the same case.

3 more days and I am flying to Tokyo. :P

J dramas + partial packing

Today, I stayed at home for the whole day. Initially thot of going out for shopping but in the end, laze at home until did not want to get out of house.

Watched a few episodes of J dramas but still have many more to complete. Too many backlogs.

Took my thermal wear and gloves for washing. Kept in the luggage for too long and is smelly. Did some packing so that I need not rush on Thursday night.

So fast, long weekend comes to an end. Tomorrow back to work. But, I am looking forward to Friday. Gonna apply for leave tomorrow. Hope will be smooth. Not smooth also must smooth uh.

House full of noises

Today my nieces came followed by my cousin. With 3 children in our house, it was full of thheir noises. They played together, laughed together and talked n talked.

At lease I need not entertain my niece as the other 2 kids entertained her. She still remembered my pens. Took 3 from me.

Suddenly I realised there was silence. Went to my bedroom and saw 2 of them watching pps and one playing with ipad 2. Ai yoh... so young now hooked by pps and ipad 2 liao.

Tomorrow is holiday. I can have another day to rest. :)

Sushi Tei again

Today is Saturday. I was woken up by phone call from my dad. Initially I thought he dialed my number by error but after I missed the call, he called home. My mum passed the phone to me saying my dad had some important thing to ask me.

Took over the phone and my dad asked me whether I went to one of the condo at Yio Chu Kang. He said the security guard passed him a card with my photo on it and IC no was mine. I was fully awake by that time and still puzzled on what he told me. I asked him what type of card. IC or any other card. I was worried that someone fraud card using my identity.

After asking him a few time round, I suddenly remembered that I my NTUC card is with him. My photo and IC no are on it. I asked if he had dropped my card when he exchanged his IC for visitor pass. He then realised maybe it was that case. After that, I left it to him to check if the security guard could return to him or need me to collect personally.

When he came home, he said he had my card back. He was so sotong uh. Made us so busy in the early morning. Since my dad came home early, we went to NEX for dinner. After walking around and thinking what to eat, we settled down at Sushi Tei again. My mum's request lah. The food not bad over there. Just that was a little disappointed when the salmon sashimi we ordered did not come on time and we had to cancel it.

After dinner, we went to Andersen's of Denmark Ice-cream cafe for dessert. Nice ice-cream which were not too sweet.

Friday Movie time

Today, finally we had our movie session after 1 month break.

Watched Tower Heist which was a comedy show. Good to laugh after a week's work. Just back from Taiwan trip and it seemed so long ago. Actually was just few days back. Time flies.

Now, I am looking forward to my trip to Tokyo next Friday. A short one but I am happy that I can eat and shop there for 2 days. If have chance, go there again next year lah.

Good news!

Good news!!! I can go to Tokyo next weekend!

I was almost give up on the trip to Japan as I could not get a reasonable price ticket to fly out from Singapore on 12 Nov and be back in Singapore by 14 Nov. However, I managed to confirm flights by Malaysia airline. Need to transit at KL but its better than can't go. :P

I only have 2 full days to walk around, eat around and shop around. Though 2 days only but I am glad that I can go there again and enjoy the food, weather and scenery.

Ramen, Cakes, Donuts, Port Cutlet and many many more. Waiting to eat them. Shall eat and eat there. Just 2 days for me to eat everything. Hahaha !!!

Looking towards for tomorrow as its Friday and we gonna have a long weekend again. Monday is public holiday in Singapore.

Sad sad sad

This morning, after getting a glimpse of chance to take a day off on 14 Nov so that I could fly to Tokyo for a 3 days 2 nights stay, got a bad news that the seat was no longer available for Delta airline.

Checked other airline but it was either too expensive or timing no good (plus stopover up to more than 15 hrs also have). Guess no chance to go liao. Shall continue to try everyday to see if there is any chance. Until last few days then I cancel my hotel booking.

Thought I can go and eat ramen and shop there again. But... so sad liao.

Looks tired

Back to office this morning and my colleagues said that I looked so tired. In fact, it's true. Rest for 2 days but still tired. Why lei? Answer is : not enough days for my holiday. Hahaha...

Managed to clear most of my paperwork. Shall need to start to work on my customers matter tomorrow. Else boss will scold uh.

Tulip and 小珠 planning for trip to Tokyo next Thu to following Mon. Needs to take 3 days leave. I could not do same as I just came back from my holiday. Just discussed and I shall try to take just 1 day. If approves, I shall leave it to my luck to see if I can get the discounted fare to fly to Tokyo on next Sat and back on following Mon. 3 days 2 nights. Better than nothing lei. :P
