Sad

So sad....  Cannot watch J dramas from PPS.  Heard that it was due to the recent situation between China and Japan.  Guess have to either wait or to get other channel.

So lost without the dramas.  :(

Great shopping day

Met up with Tulip at 12noon and had lunch at Sushi tei.  Originally, our plan was to have lunch or high tea at good hotel but when I found out that the lunch at Marriot Cafe cost $50++ for per pax, I suggested to change to have lunch elsewhere.  Initially thought of having Japanese food at Ion but changed to dim sum at Ngee Ann City.  However it was long queue so we changed to Sushi tei.

After lunch, we had a short shopping at the Mooncakes fair by Takashimaya.  Walked one round and decided to have afternoon tea at Paul. Maison De Qualite @ Takashimaya.  Since we had saved money by not going for lunch at Marrriot Hotel, we had budget to have cakes and tea.

The cakes and tarts were all so tempting.  Managed to get a table rather fast.  We ordered 4 types of cakes and shared.  Chit chatting and discussing on our trip with the delicious cakes and tea.  Stayed there for almost 3 hours.  We could not resist the fruit tarts and ordered one before leaving for shopping.  :P

Shopped at Ion first and followed by Plaza Singapura and then Raffles City mall.  In fact, we were looking for jeans so just zoomed in to Dorothy Perkins at Plaza Singapura.  Due to no stock for size of a pair of jeans Tulip wanted, we moved to Raffles City.

I bought a pair of jeans and 2 long sleeved blouse there.  Its or my October's trip.  Great day for me.

Favourite day

Today is my favourite day again.  Happy Friday.

The weather was super hot this morning.  Yesterday's weather was good after a heavy pour.  How I wish everyday is a cooling day.

Had free lunch as company was celebrating Mid Autumn festival.  The food was quite good.  Did not join the games as we had no interest at all.  Hahaha....

Evening, left office on time at 7pm to catch our movie at 7.30pm.  Watched movie "Premium Rush".  My colleague said the review was so-so only but we still enjoyed the movie.  A lot of funny scenes and we liked the policeman.

Thought of having dinner at Carl's Junior but it was closed for renovation.  We were rather blurred to miss the shop and both of us wondered did we walked past and missed it.  Realised that we were looking at another side while walking and did not realise that the shop was closed with big notice.

Reached home at about 11.30pm and shall sleep early tonight as tomorrow we are meeting Tulip at 12noon.  Have to wake up by 9.30am to prepare.

Poison???

One more day to go....

Finally its Thursday.  A very busy week.  Had been out to distribute mooncakes to customers and rarely had time in office to clear work.  Very rush to complete paperwork in order to leave office earlier.

Brought home some mooncakes.  Open a packet of baked mooncake and cut it.  Ate a piece happily and only got to realise that I had accidentally cut the packing of the oxygen absorber which was packed with the mooncake.  The contents were exposed and I believe I had ate some of it.  OMG!!! I was so worried that it was poisonous and kept drinking water to flush it off.

Google to find out the consequences of consuming the substance and relieved to know that it was ok to eat a little bit.  Lucky lucky uh.  Better be careful in future. 

Food food

Had lunch at M Hotel cafe 2000 with my colleagues.  We enjoyed 33% discount as my colleague as the privilege card.  I ordered laksa and it was very good.  Worth the money!

Having headache today.  Not sure if it was due to dehydration or my "aunty coming".  Hope tomorrow will be fine.  I hate headache.

Tired day

Extremely tired.....  Walked a lot this afternoon at CBD area.  Since customers' offices are within walking distance, decided to walk from one to another office.  Rather hot weather and I was perspiring whenever I reached one customer's office.  Got to wipe off the sweat before I dared to meet customers.  Finally another day gone.  Good accomplishment that I managed to clear most of the mooncakes distribution.  Left 5 more to go tomorrow.

Unable to finish my work as most of the time I was out of office.  In order to leave office and took a lift from Ah Cheng's car to Buona Vista station, I decided to KIV my work till tomorrow morning.  Hope I can finish before I leave office tomorrow for another round of mooncakes distribution.

Not working

Today, I seemed not working at all.  Whole afternoon was out of office and back only at almost 5pm.  Guess it will be the same for the next few days.  Kind of "happy" to be out of office.  Hee hee.

The weather was very hot these few days.  Just hope it will be cooler in coming days.

Race over

So fast... its Sunday.

Woke up quite late this morning.  Watched HK drama for the whole afternoon until I forgot to watch Summer Rescue epi 9.  Just realised and shall watch tomorrow.

Took bus from Pasir Ris to home at 6.30pm.  Had to be early as I wanted to watch the F1 race at 7.30pm.  Managed to switch on TV at 8pm after bathing etc.  Luckily just in time to watch the start of the race.  Quite an exciting race with few accidents/incidents.  I like Jenson Button and glad that he took the 2nd position.  3 days event finished.

So unhappy now that tomorrow is Monday again.  Coming week will be busy as need to distribute mooncakes to customers.  Will be out of office most of the time.  :(  :(  :(

Shopping day

Woke up at 10am unwillingly as I was so tired.  Slept at 4am.  Not enough sleep uh.  However, still have to wake up.

Meeting my sister in the afternoon and completed my housework before leaving house.  Just simple one today.  Not much time to do more.  Now becoming more lazier liao.  :P

Went to Orchard Road and I bought a pair of shoe at Takashimaya.  Wrong move uh!  I bought the Everbest shoe at 15% discount but later realised that OG was having 20% discount.  So sad...  :( 

Had lunch at around 3pm hence was still full in the evening and decided to skip dinner.  However, I could not resist the temptation when my father bought chilli crabs.  Yummy!

Will sleep earlier tonight to replenish my energy.

F1 Singapore 2012

Great night for us!

I did not really work today.  Morning went out for mooncakes distribution to our customers and after lunch, went to do a very important task.

We bought ticets for tonight's F1.  Instead of interest on the cars, we were more excited on watching Jay Chou's concert.  In order for us to enter the fanzone, we went to queue for the fanzone wristband that started at 2.30pm.

Parked car at Bugis Juction and took train to Cityhall.  Walked to the main gate and realised there was queues there.  We were too early and the gates opened only at 2.30pm.  Stood under the sun and we were all perspiring.  Really no image liao.  We told ourselves not to let people who knew us saw our looks.  Whenever people took photos, we just turned our faces away.  Could not let people know we were there during working hours.  Haha..

Managed to get in by 2.30pm and we walked very fast to Padang field.  Luckily we could still get the wristbands and went back to office happily.

Night time, we re-entered by 9.23pm.  Just 2 mins before the gates closed.  Walked around to watch the cars warming up for tomorrow's race.  Great experience for me.  Really noisy.

We walked towards Padang at around 10.10pm for the concert.  It started at 11.15pm and we tried to get as near to the corner as possible.  My colleague said we were too short and best was to stay at corner.  We were rather closed to part of the stage.  I was so happy to see Jay at such a short distance.  It was even better than what I had paid for his concert last year.  However, it only walked twice our side but.. its enough for me.  :)

He was so handsome uh.  We enjoyed his songs and really sad when it ended.  Glad that we could enter the fanzone.  Next year if he is coming, I will definitely go again.  It really worth while to buy the $58 ticket to see him.

Will try to queue for fans wrist bands tomorrow afternoon.  Hope we can get it and be nearer to Jay.

Cosy place

Last night, my colleague sms to me that my boss called us for lunch today.  We were guessing what was the agenda and I prepared to "listen to music".

Meeting place was at one of the Tiong Bahru coffee shop.  Went to same place on Monday and I like the fishball noodles and the yong dao fu,  Was glad that I could eat again today.

Weather was hot and we went to one nearby cafe for drinks.  I ordered a scoop of strawberry ice-cream.  Why strawberry?  Cos it was homemade type.  Asked for sample first and it was nice so I ordered it.  Yummy.

We were chatting and it came to a time when my colleague asked our boss what was the meeting for.  In fact, it was a short briefing and we continued to chit chat.  The cafe was very cosy and I really liked the ambience.  Can go there again.  :)

I will grow fat

OMG!!! I over ate again today.  Recently, we had quite heavy lunch and I am feeling that I am growing fatter and fatter.  Must try to cut down good food.  But hor... sometimes really cannot resist.

The day passed quite peacefully and glad that tomorrow is mid week liao.  Left 3 more days to go.  Yippy!

I better start working on the draft of our next month's trip itinerary.  :)

F1 2012

This year, its my first time buying a ticket for F1.  Its actually not meant to watch the race.  Its to watch Jay Chou's concert.  My colleague asked if we wanted to attend since it just cost $58 for Friday's walkabout ticket.  I gladly joined in.  Today collected the ticket for this Friday's event.

Fast that the day passed and coming next is Tuesday.  4 more days to go and its weekend again.  :P

I told 小珠 that for our trip, we may have to reconsider Takinoue Park as I found that it was far from Sapporo and transport is not so direct.  In the end, we found that there are 2 Takinoue Park in Hokkaido.  So strange.

A Kiss

Another hot day today.  Made me perspiring and had to make the fan stationary to blow on me directly.

My niece having PSLE soon hence will not come to Pasir Ris so often.  My sister said that she has too much homework and cannot finish.  Better let her concentrate and do well in her coming exam.  Her ipad is waiting for her.

My mum bought apples and oranges for me to bring home.  Total 12 as she included some for my sister if she stays at my house and can eat.  Too heavy for me to carry home so my father sent me home.  My mum and sister came along. 

The car just turned out from car park and stopped before the traffic light.  Few seconds later, we felt a jerk.  Initially I thought that my father's car engine stopped but it was not.  The car behind knocked onto our van.  Went out to take a look and it looked fine so my dad said its ok and not pursuing.  The driver said he just came back from Malaysia and kind of tired.  Luckily his car bumped onto our van in which the van's and his car's bumper were of same level.  If it was other car, it would have to pay for the dent.  A little kiss on my father's van.  Luckily not much damage and we were safe.

Back home and sad that there was no new epi released of J drama.  So I continued my HK drama lor.

Another sad thing is.... tomorrow is Monday again!

Hot Hot Saturday

The weather was real hot this morning.  I was perspiring non stop while mopping the floor.  Just did mopping today as a bit lazy to do cleaning.  Hee hee...

Met up with my mum and sister at NEX for lunch.  My mum came to help me for the praying.  Decided to try Laksania and it was a surprise to me that the food was good.  I ordered the Singapore Laksa.  My mum ordered Kelantan Laksa and my sister ordered Chicken Laksa burger.  The burger set came with fries and instead of chilli sauce, it was laksa sauce.  It was good.  The chicken was nice too.  Shall try next time.

Back home and after praying, we moved immediately back to Pasir Ris home.  The sky suddenly turned gloomy.  I had to help out for the praying at home.  Luckily, we managed to complete the burning of incense papers before it rained.  However, due to the strong wind, the candles were not lighted up.  My mum said no choice.

Stayed at home for dinner.  My parents went to the market to buy fruits so "ta bao" food home.  Quite tired today.

Nice friday

TGIF!

The day passed rather fast today.  Morning felt restless to work.  Went for a good lunch at 313 with colleagues.  Back in office at 3pm and followed up with a meeting.  Busy evening and left office for movie.  Wow... real packed!

Watched movie "Resident Evil : Retribution".  I could not remember if I really did watch one of the earlier movie.  The whole movie was like a game show.  A lot of shootings etc.  Being scared at the beginning of the show as we were caught unprepared for the zombies to appear. 

We were puzzled by the identity of the little girl.  Also found that Li Bing Bing was a "flower vase" in this movie.  Her appearance was so funny. 

Anyway, we enjoyed the movie and after the session, were so tired and kept yawning.  Could be too focus on the movie liao. 

Decided to watch one epi of j drama before sleeping.  :)

Mission accomplished

Felt good today. Finally I managed to accomplish one tough mission.

Had a good lunch at Clementi hawker centre and after that, went for customer visit. This is the mission I mentioned. Quite a fruitful trip as it cleared my doubts.

Well its finally Thursday and mood is real good today. :)

Yummy cakes - Grin Affair

Happy day.

Today, I ate 2 jars of cakes.  Its from Grin Affair.  Its recommended by my colleague.  Shop location is at 3 Everton Park.  We had lunch at a coffee shop near the shop and all of us bought one jar each to eat on the spot except 小珠.  She is always very discipline.  I bought the strawberries flavor and it was super nice.  Could not resist and bought one chocolate flavor home.

Ate the chocolate flavor and I still prefer the strawberries.  Both were good but strawberries was better.  It was so fresh and nice.  Next time will buy again.

Booked tickets for Friday movie.  Looking forward to Friday.

Sad

2 days passed and left 3 more days. 

Good weather this morning.  Glad that it was not so humid.  Left house a bit late due to toilet call and missed bus.  Hence missed the usual train too. 

Usual working day today and reached home at 8.25pm.  Steamed sweet corn and boiled sausages for dinner. 

Started to watch j dramas as no need to do housework tonight.  Watched Rich man poor woman first.  This drama storyline is really good.  I like it.  Next week will air the last episode.  Believe the ending will be a good one.

Next followed by Beautiful Rain.  I really like the little girl and I am so sad on the scene when the father had to prepare birthday gifts in advance for 美雨 as he worried that he will forget about her birthdays in few years time.  Really burst out with tears on that scene.  I really hope the doctor can cure his illness.  Shall continue to chase after this drama next week.

Monday blue blue again

I hate Monday.

Weather was not too bad this morning.  Sky got dark when I left house believe it rained not long after I reached Serangoon MRT station.  West side already rained by the time I reached office.  Such a good day to sleep at home.

Whole day feeling no mood to work but .... still have to work lah.  Say say only.  Glad that the hours passed quite fast and zoomed...... its evening time.  We left office at about 7.30pm and I reached home by 8.30pm.

Only one epi of J drama released.  Now waiting for new epi for "Beautiful rain".  Why makes me wait so long lei.

Good food

This evening, we went to J-pot for dinner.  It was my first time there and I heard a lot of good reviews for this restaurant.  Tampines 1 branch just opened and my sister suggested to have dinner there tonight.

We ordered the set for 4 plus ala carte dishes as we had 5 pax.  I ordered the porridge soup base and it was good.  I felt rather "healthy".  Hahaha.

My mum liked it and in the end, realised that my sister brought her once to the VivoCity branch.  She completely forgot and just said that the mixing of chilli sauce seems she did it once before.  Hahaha.

Went to Cold Storage to buy some groceries since my dad was driving and sending me home.  My sister staying tonight so could help me to bring up the things.  Bought ice-cream!!!!  Yummy!!!!

Boring day

Saturday morning was with clear sky.  Woke up at 10.00am and started to do some housework.  Watched an episode of j drama before leaving house back to Pasir Ris home.

Walked to NEX and bought desserts and goreng pisang for my mum.  Nice afternoon snacks.  Surprisingly that the desserts were still hot when I reached Pasir Ris by bus.

Stayed at home for the whole day.  Asked my dad to buy crabs home for dinner.  Yummy!

Overall, nothing special today.  Just an ordinary (or boring) Saturday.  But I still like it.  :)

Good day

Today is a very good day.  Friday with relaxing mood.  Longing for today since Sunday night.

We had a very good lunch at Swenson (Clementi mall).  There is lunch set which if you order main course, it comes with free side dish or drink or ice-cream.  Very worth it.  The free item can be as expensive as $9.20.  6 of us shared the side dishes and ice-creams.  Were so full until we skipped our dinner before movie.  However, we bought sotong balls as snacks and ate before entering the theater. 

Watched movie "TED" and it was a M18 movie.  Too bad that the cinema staff did not stop us to check our IC.  Hahaha....  The movie was funny and a lot of jokes.  Quite good to let us release our whole week tiredness.

Strange that whenever we finished movie, we started to yawn and feel tired.  Maybe laughed too much liao.

Count down

Thursday night.  Another day to go and its Friday night again.  So fast....

Tomorrow going to watch movie.  :)

Had lunch with customer at Demsey Road Samy Curry.  First time there and the food is not too bad.  The curry fish head is popular.  Every table definitely can see one bowl.

Waiting for tomorrow to come fast fast.

The haze today turns quite bad.  I can smell even indoor.  Closed my windows early tonight to prevent inhaling too much of the haze.

Bad stomach

Today, my stomach still very bloated.  Felt like vomiting too and kept eating sour plums.  Felt cold also.  Like pregnant lady.  Hahaha...  I told my colleague that tomorrow I am on MC to give birth!

Well hope my stomach can be better tomorrow.  Otherwise so uncomfortable.

Shall keep my fingers and toes crossed.  :P

Nothing

Nothing special today.  Just another ordinary Tuesday.

We managed to book accommodation for our trip next month at Noboribetsu.  Got quite a good deal.  We even asked our Japan office colleague for help to translate for us.  She was so helpful and even called the hotel to check more details for us.  Really thanks for her help.  :)

Gonna sleep earlier tonight.  Felt very tired the whole day.  Anyway not many new epi of j dramas released.

Green bean soup

This evening, I decided to try cooking green bean soup for dinner.  Bought the beans 2 weeks ago and since I was early tonight, I could try cooking.

Put the beans for boiling and started to sweep the floor.  After sweeping, watched the beans and managed to cook it satisfactory.  Finally I cooked my first dessert.  :)

Laze at home

Hot Sunday.  Stayed indoor at Pasir Ris with my niece. 

Watched j dramas and anime to kill time.  Watched till up to date liao.

So sad that tomorrow is Monday again.

Very full

This morning, I woke up at 9.15am and started to sweep and mop the floor.  Had to leave house by 11am as I was meeting my mum and sis at 11.45am.

Got out of the house and walked super fast in order to catch the bus to Bishan mrt station.  Luckily I managed to board the bus which delayed arriving the bus stop due to heavy traffic at the junction.

I reached Orchard mrt station at 11.35am but.. my mum and sis was late.  I ended up waiting for 30mins.  We walked to Goodwood Park hotel and the weather was very hot.  But worth the effort.  We enjoyed our Teppanyaki buffet lunch at Shima restaurant.  The food was very fresh and good.  We ate until very very full.

Due ease our bloated stomach, we walked to Takashimaya and shopped there for a while.  It was still early after we finished our shopping.  Decided to head home and rest.  Was too full and we decided to skip dinner.  My father would just it the rice kuah that my aunty made.

Relaxing day.
