Lame...

Today nothing much happened hence nothing to drop down on my blog. Felt so strange without dropping anything hence a bit lame to just key some unnecessary wordings here. Ha ha...

Crab Crab

My nieces came to to our house at around 2pm. 3 of them played on their own and we did our own chit chatting. One of the dish they would like to have was Blackpepper crabs. Luckily, my dad managed to buy live crabs from Bedok market and they were good. Meaty and fresh.

I enjoyed the crabs and ate quite a lot. They were so nice. In fact, not every time my parents will buy crabs. Need to have good crabs else they will not buy. If the meats are soft and not QQ, we will not eat and ended up my dad has to finish alone. Sound like we very choosy hor. Ha ha...

Well tomorrow back to work again. The week starts again and month end coming hence will be busy.

Now shall look forward to Friday again. :P

Relax at home

I like today. Yesterday was a holiday and this makes us to have a long weekend.

When I woke up this morning, I felt so good that my break continues for one more day. It does feel like today is Sunday but glad that it is still Saturday.

Idling at home for whole afternoon until evening time where we went out for dinner. Relaxing day and hope more such long weekend will come. :)

So fast that May is coming to an end. It makes me suddenly realise that the year has gone almost half now. What did I do during first half of 2010? Can't recall. So sad. Am I doing nothing??? I wonder...

Day at home ~ still working

Wow... today I woke up at 12.30pm!!!

In fact, I woke up at 8.15am for toilet call. Went back to sleep and woke up at 10.30am after my alarm clock rang. I did not want to get up hence laid on the bed till 12.30pm. In between, I think I went back to sleep as I could recall that I had a dream. My parents said I was so super that could sleep for so long. Ha ha...

I was doing some of my office work and thought there would be nothing much as today was holiday in Singapore (Vesak Day). However, there were still phone calls and enquiries from customers. No choice lah. Still have to entertain them. Manage to close one deal without much negotiation. :P

My nieces (one niece + 2 god nieces) came this evening after they went to Wild Wild Wet. All of them looked like lobsters. They had sun burnt I think. Am sure they are tired and will sleep while on their way back home.

Stay indoor whole day and thought it will rain later but seems I am wrong. There was lightning and thunder just now with red sky. However, no sign of a single drop of rain. So sad uh... How I wish there will be heavy rain and I can sleep in cool cool weather. :(

Farewell lunch

We had throw a farewell lunch for our colleague who is transferring to another dept. Venue was Golden Peony Chinese Restaurant at Conrad hotel. This restaurant was recommended as the food was good. Just knew that my boss and one of my colleague ate at same restaurant yesterday and came back again as they like the food.

No doubt, the food served was really good. Although price is not cheap but quality is there definitely. If I have a chance, will bring my parents there to enjoy the food there. Our set was around $98++ per pax. Took pictures of all the dishes so that I can remember their look and taste. Hee hee...

Feeling tired today and will need to sleep early tonight. Was already feeling sleepy while having my lunch and it becomes worst now. Just had ice-cream at Haagen Daz with 小珠. We did not have dinner as we were not hungry at all. Therefore, went for dessert session instead. Did not watch movie this evening as seats left were no good.

Farewell gift

Tomorrow is my colleague's last day with our team. She will be transferring to another department and will fly to Rotterdam and London next week.

We went to buy farewell gift for her and decided on Swarovski bracelet and vouchers. Preferred to buy something she can remember as a gift from us.

We will have farewell lunch tomorrow with her and still deciding on which restaurant to go. Our boss suggested Chinese food but we don't fancy it. Shall see if we can change it tomorrow. I do not mind Japanese food although I just came back from Japan. :P

Tonight, we really left office before 8.45pm. Shall do it earlier tomorrow. Perhaps we are going to watch early movie and that will make me leave office early.

Another Hot Day

Aiyoh... I could not stand it. Why the weather was so hot.

This afternoon, the temperature went up to 34 deg. I felt like in an oven once I walked out of office building during lunch hour. Rain Rain, pls come pls come.

Office rather peaceful today. Managed to clear my work and left office around 8.45pm. Still late but 15mins earlier than yesterday. Need to ensure that I will get out of office earlier than 8.45pm tomorrow.

As I had watched the latest anime episodes, felt so helpless without watching any today. However, I did not watch it ultimately.

Need to rest early today and I hope I can do it.

Back in Office ~ Hot weather

Wow... so warm today. I could not stand it anymore! How I wish I am still in Japan enjoying the cool breeze.

Not much happening today and spent time in office clearing my work. As I had already cleared my emails, I could take over from my colleague immediately without any handover.

Initially thought that I could finish work and go back early. However, I managed to leave office only at 9pm. So late uh and need 小珠 to wait for me. She just came back from Italy. Our holidays happened to fall on same period. Some of our colleagues even thought that we went for holiday together again.

Home Sweet Home

Finally back home!!!

Did not sleep during the flight back to Singapore and was feeling rather awake when reached home. Therefore, I decided to wash my clothing and do unpacking of my luggage. By the time I finished, it was already 3.30am. Went to bed and woke up at 10am today. Cannot sleep too late as my niece coming today.

As soon as she reached, she kept asking for her presents. This little girl loves presents. She was happy when we gave it to her.

I did not play with her today as I was busy clearing my emails. There were 964 of them and I spent 7 hours clearing them. So tired after sitting at same posture for so long. My eyes like wanted to pop out.

Since I could clear all emails by 8pm, I continued to watch the few new episodes of the 3 anime I am chasing. Felt relax after watching them and look forward to the new episodes.

Tomorrow needs to be back in office. So sad uh... Holiday really end... Now looking forward to Friday as it is a holiday in Singapore. Yippy!!!

Day 7 : Get ready to go back

We had a lot of time today hence morning call was not so early. It was set as 8.30am so that we could go for our breakfast at 9.30am and got ready to leave hotel at 10.30am. All of us agreed to pay 500yen each to charter hotel coach to Aeon mall for shopping before going to the airport. Our flight is at 5.30pm and it will be useless to just sit and wait at the hotel.

A little incident happened this morning. I overslept as my alarm clock did not ring. My parents also woke up late as they thought it was still early when I was still sleeping. Luckily we had sufficient time and was not rushing to leave hotel. Otherwise, I might end up not washing my hair/bathing in order to catch up. Phew...

I went to Aeon mall once hence had decided to have Ramen at Picnic foodcourt for lunch. I love the eggs. We shopped around for my niece's gifts. I bought some cute files again as they were so tempting... Could not resist uh!

Time passed so fast and we went back to the coach and headed for the airport. Felt so sad that holiday comes to an end and how I wish it can be extended. Will have to find another time to visit Japan again. When will it be lei???

Bye Bye Japan. I will be back!!!

Day 6 : First visit toTokyo Tower

This morning, we woke up extremely early to catch our early flight to Tokyo. One thing good about the group members for this tour are all very punctual. Most of the time, everyone is on time. Therefore, we left the hotel promptly.

We reached the airport just on time and there wasn't any extra time for us to shop at New Chitose airport. Luckily we had bought all goodies earlier and need not rush to buy from the airport. If more time given for us to shop there, I was sure we will buy some more goodies back. Hee hee.

Once we reached Haneda airport, first stop was to stop by at Tokyo Tower. I went to Tokyo a few times but never been to this place. Finally I had a chance. It was only today then I knew that Tokyo Tower was higher than Effiel Tower. Tokyo Tower was 333m high where Effiel
Tower was 324m high. Japan will have a new tower scheduled to be completed end of 2010. It will be 634m high. Wow!!! I dared not go up. Too high for me. I bought a cup of ice-cream and enjoyed it before getting back onto the bus.

Next, we had lunch at Asakusa. The restaurant we went was not my first visit. Previous 2 tour packages brought us there and I dined there with 小珠 before too. Today, we had tempura bento set.

After lunch, our family chose to walk on our own instead of following the tour guide. Had visit the temple and shopped around. Saw few trees full of oranges. So tempted to pluck them and eat. No no no.... can't pluck fruits there.

Guess what I bought there??? It's a bag which is similar to the one Nodame was carrying in the drama/movie "Nodame Cantabile". I am going to use it to put my laptop.

We had 3 hours to shop at Ginza. Our main purpose was to go to Burberry boutique and also to find the Agnes B bag which I wanted to buy. Luckily, I managed to find it and bought it immediately without wasting any time.

As our legs were getting tired, we wanted to find a cafe to have some drinks. Did not know that Japanese like tea time and all cafes were full. Finally managed to find one that had seats to accommodate 7 of us. Quite disappointed that I did not eat any cakes there as was still feeling full. Next time lah. Definitely will go again and try Almond Cafe cakes.

Took a photo of the new Nissan car. It was so cute. Japanese really innovative. The sky getting dark and we went for our dinner. This restaurant was not new to us. We came to this restaurant during our family previous trip (Osaka/kyoto/Tokyo tour package). It was a Chinese restaurant and the food were better than the one we had yesterday. This one has standard. Thumbs up.

This end our 6th day and tomorrow will be our last day in Japan. Will take the 5.30pm flight back to Singapore. So sad... Holiday ending... :(

Day 5 : Raining day

The weather forecast in Japan is always so accurate. Yesterday saw the news indicating that today will be a rainy day and indeed it was. 100% accuracy which we did not wish it will be. Our itinerary was to go to Otaru today and raining really spoilt the trip. My trip in January was also spoilt by the raining that caused us unable to take nice photos there. What a waste.

It took us around 2 hours to reach Otaru from Asahikawa. By the time we reached Otaru, it was already 10am and we were given only 2 hours to walk around. As it was raining, we went to have coffee at the famous cafe where you paid for the cups and coffee or tea can be free flow. We bought 2 cups chosen by my parents for souvenirs.

After the coffee, we went to the biggest Music Box Museum. I was busy taking photos on the nice musical boxes. No intention to buy hence took photos for remembrance. After staying for 45mins, we proceeded to buy goodies from popular confectionery shops. Bought one 5 flavors ice-cream and shared among 4 of us. They were good. Yummy...

Had lunch before leaving Otaru for Sapporo Beer Museum. We could have free beer after the in house tour. Too bad I don't drink beer and hence drank apple juice only.

Our last place to go for today was Rera Chitose Outlet mall. Not much shopping for me as all items were still expensive to me. Hence just walked around and waited for time to have dinner. Chinese food for dinner which the taste was so so only.

That ended the day and shall rest early tonight. Need to catch very early flight to Tokyo tomorrow. :)
