First draft

Busy today.  Quite a lot of things to handle and started with a bad morning.  Handling same issue for the whole day till night time.  At least can sleep tonight after part of it solved.

We had decided on few places we can go in Hokkaido for our Oct trip.  Can start to search for the place of interest and how to reach there.  Glad to have something to look forward to.  :)

So fast that today is last day of July.  Tomorrow is another new month.

Tired Day

Woke up and felt tired.  Hate Monday.  4 more days to go.

Simply do not feel like working today as I am still having weekend mood.

Lame uh!

Great day

This afternoon, I had lunch with my classmates at PS Cafe Palais.  No reservation accepted hence we queued for almost 30mins before we got a table.  One of my classmate cannot make it hence left 5 of us.  We ordered food and started to chit chat.  Updating each other of any changes to our job, address, contact nos etc.  Wonderful time to meet up this time as the last time we met was 5 years ago.  We know each other for 22 years and I am glad that we still stay in touch although the meet up is not every year.  Hope we can have more frequent meet up.  Had given the task to one of them who is a stewardess.  Her timing is most irregular hence will make her choose the dates.

We finished by 4.30pm and I headed to NEX.  My family members were there and they had made reservation at Jack's Place.  Today is to celebrate my brother's birthday.  As I just had late lunch, I just joined in and ordered light food.

Went to Fairprice to buy tissue papers since there were helpers to carry for me.  My elder sister bought a lot too.  She needs to top up stock.  2 busy aunties....

So fast tomorrow is Monday.  Shall look forward to next Friday.  :P

Unusual weddings

Back to Pasir Ris home in the afternoon but my sis and myself were so angry with the cab driver.  He could have drove a shorter route from Serangoon to Pasir Ris but he used the route via CTE to PIE.  There was a jam from the exit to CTE and all the way until Eunos.  So angry!  Should have asked him to turn back and use TPE via Old Tampines road.  Made us paid extra $5.00.

Will not be staying overnite as I have a gathering at Orchard area tomorrow and its nearer from Serangoon. One of my classmate is re-locating to Bangkok hence has this gathering.  Have not meet them for about 2 - 3 years liao.

My dad drove to NEX and we had dinner at Siam Kitchen.  Only my parents and me.  My younger sis went for BBQ with her ex-colleagues.  I had Groupon voucher so can utilise it tonight and I can also have a free ride home.  1 arrow kills 2 birds.  Hahaha.

After dinner, we walked pass some exhibition in the mall.  Unusual wedding gowns and feasts.  So impress with the designers.

Early movie

Today, I am rather "not busy" and was on weekend mood liao.  Had lunch with our customer and went "shopping" for a while before heading back to office.  Did not feel like working hence shall postpone some work to next Monday then do.

We left office at 7pm to catch our early movie at 7.30pm.  Bought sushi and da pao in to eat.  Watched movie "The Dark Knight rises".  We did not watch the first 3 movies but still find this one very nice.  We decided to find the earlier 3 movies to watch so that we can fully understand the whole story.  Look forward for the next movie.  :)

Dinner at home

Today, I left office early as planned.  My colleague drove me home hence I could reach home at 8.10pm.  My sister was already at home cooking her dinner.  Simple dinner.  Sausages with sweet corn.  She cooked same for me hence I have "home cooked" dinner tonight.

Did not watch J dramas as I was on the phone with Tulip discussing on our trip in October.   Shall marathon the backlog this weekend.

Super early

Today, I left office before 7pm.  My boss kept reminding me not to "incur demurrage" and take note of "laycan".  Meaning, do not work over 7pm as he wants everyone to leave office by 7pm.  I did what he said and left 5 mins before 7pm.

So happy that I can be home by 8.15pm (went to NEX to buy breakfast for tomorrow).  Washed 2 toilets and still have time left to do my other stuff.

Called Citibank to waive my late charges and interest fee.  I mistakenly thought that I had paid my bill but actually missed it.  Luckily they willing to waive for me.  Heard that they will only waive 2 times a year.  This is my first time delaying payment.  I am always a good payee.  :P

We booked movie ticket for 7.30pm on this Friday.  Boss asked us to go home earlier so we did.  Hahaha.

No mood

Again.  Today I have no mood to work.  Just feel like doing nothing and be lazy. These few days, we had lunch for more than 2hrs.  Everyone no mood to work.

Reached home at 9.20pm and was early.  Hope everyday can be earlier so that I have more personal time.

Need to plan for our holiday in October.  Has homework to do liao.

Sotong

This afternoon, I received another reminder thru SMS from Citibank highlighting that my credit card payment is overdue.  I was wondering why they keep sending reminders to me when I have already paid through OCBC bank.  My intention was to go home and check the record and call Citibank to complain. 

Came home to check my bill and OMG!!!!  I accidentally placed the bill at the wrong slot and thought I have already paid.  Due date is 17 Jul.  My payment through OCBC bank is for my UOB credit card bill.  Sooooo pai sei uh!  Now I must call Citibank tomorrow to explain the late payment so that they will not charge me interest.  Really sotong... I hardly late for payment.  Bad record liao.

Today not very busy hence we went home earlier.  I reached home at 9pm and I thought my sister is at home.  Then I recalled that she told me she will be home late on Mon and Wed.  In the end, still me home alone till 10pm then she came home.  I have done a lot of things.  Packed my old clothes, bags and ironed clothes.  Good to be home earlier so that I have more time to do housework.  :)

Busy Sunday

Woke up at 11.30am as usual and watched TV program until my sister came home at 2pm.  She asked me if I wanted to accompany her to Simei Eastpoint for shopping.  She wanted to find some clothing at Bega.  She saw me buying on Friday and wanted to add more clothing to her wardrobe.  This was a wrong move for me.  I regretted.....

We went straight to Bega store once we reached there.  My mum and brother joined us too.  My mum very happy whenever we spent money on clothing.  She likes to see us buy more clothing and spend money!

I saw one piece quite nice and wanted to try on that piece only.  In the end, the sales assistant kept bringing more pieces and in the end, I bought another 9 pieces.  This was terrible.  I just bought on Friday and now spent money again.  I added one skirt for office wear, 1 3/4 pants and 1 long pants.  Another mistake again!!!!  I bought same pair of pants and in the end, decided to keep the old piece I have at Pasir Ris home.

Back home and my dad drove us to NEX for dinner.  We dined at The Ship restaurant.  Heavy dinner.  Then we headed to my house.  A lot of things to carry home.  Luckily they helped me.

With so busy schedule this afternoon and night time, I completely has no time to watch j dramas again.  Backlogs again.

Food. Nice food

This afternoon, went for shopping at Novena Square.  I saw one dress but no size for me so I asked my sister to try on instead.  Just nice it fits her and she bought it.  Too bad lor.  They only carry one piece for each size and it happened to be the last piece liao.

Our plan was actually to go to Orchard area for shopping but we alighted at Novena station when we realised it had been quite some time we did not go there so just popped by a while.  My dad suddenly called us and we changed our plan.  Asked him to wait for us near Serangoon while we took train back.  He knocked off earlier today so we decided to go for early dinner with him.  Otherwise he so pitiful that each time we went shopping, he had to eat ta bao food.

My sister suggested to eat at T3 Gurney Drive restaurant.  It served Penang food.  Managed to get a good parking lot and when we reached the restaurant, it was crowded.  We queued for almost 30mins but really worth the wait.

We ordered Penang Kway Tiao, Penang Fujian prawn noodle, Assam curry fish head and BBQ seafood set for sharing.  Drinks wise, my mum ordered nugmeg drink, my dad ordered ba long long drink, my sis ordered pink guava and I ordered coke.  My sister said I very boring.  Ordered something so common.  We also ordered chendol and ice kacang for desserts.

The food was really good and I really will go back again.  Very nice food and I do recommend this place to everyone to try.

Saturday passes so fast.  No time to watch J dramas....  :(

Friday mood. Switched off.

Friday Friday.  Very happy day.

Today most of us really in weekend mood and had no mood to work.  We had a farewell lunch for our colleague and we took 4 hours off this afternoon.  Really not scared of HR!  Hahaha...

Had a very filling lunch at Jumbo Seafood restaurant @ Riverside Point.  The food was so good that I finished a bowl of fried rice and mee goreng with other dishes.  It made us so full until no need to have dinner.

This evening, we had time since not taking dinner and had also left office early at 7.20pm.  Went to buy Toto and walked passed by Iora.  Tried few pieces and in the end the damage was $300.  Anyway can wear so good investment lah.

Watched Ice Age 4 : Continental Drift.  Very good and entertaining movie.  There were many kids watching and could hear them laughed so loud.  Enjoyed the movie tonight and had a very good Friday night.

My sister came to my house tonight.  So coincidence that when I reached Serangoon bus stop, saw bus 147 from far away and I was asking myself if my sister was on board.  True enough I saw her.  Called her and she waited for me at the bus stop near my house and we walked home together.  I could not take same bus as the bus will not stop at the bus stop I was waiting for bus.

Thursday finally

Count down to Friday.  It's Thursday today!

Sunny in the morning and I thought it will be a hot day again after so many cooling days.  However, it rained during lunch hour and brought down the temperature.

Made a mistake this afternoon.  Thought that we were having a farewell lunch for our colleague but it turned out to be just a normal lunch with our boss.  Tomorrow then is the farewell lunch.  Blurred....

Left office at 7.30pm as everyone had no mood to work and wanted to go home early.  Glad that I managed to reach home by 8.40pm.  It gave me more time to do my stuff tonight.  Managed to wash 2 standing fans. 

Happy that tomorrow is Friday.  Movie time again.

Finally my bag is back

Yesterday received call from Longchamp staff that they had prepared a new piece of the bag for exchange since they are still working on removing the magnetic tag from the bag I bought in Paris.  Instead of letting me wait (already 3 weeks), they are willing to do a one to one exchange.  Good....

Collection will be at Paragon boutique.  Ah Thin and 小珠 accompanied me to do the collection and we had lunch at one of the Japanese restaurant in the basement of Paragon.  I had it once at The Village @ Serangoon and the ramen I ordered was tasty.  Good lunch.

Back in office and three of us were so unwilling to go back to work.  However, no choice but to work lor.

Left office at 8.30pm and reached home at 9.15pm.  I tallying my credit card and utility bills hence left not much time to watch jdrama.  Die die must watch at least 1 episode.  Must quickly watch now.

Gloomy Tuesday

Woke up unwillingly this morning.  I did not have sufficient sleep these 2 days.  Really wish I can sleep longer and best is no need to go to work today.  Do not know why that this few days, I just don't feel like working.  Always feel sleepy every time I enter into the office.

It was dark outside when I looked through the window.  Cloudy and started to rain in the evening.  How I wish I am at home lying on my bed.

Very tired today but I just cannot make myself to sleep early.  Still have to watch my J dramas.  :P

Normal day

Its an usual Monday today.  Nothing much happened except a case which I need to follow up.  So sian...

Work and work but did not know what am I doing actually. Just work lor...

Back home at 9.45pm and started to hunt for the cockroaches.  Fumigation of dustbin this am and I found 3 small and 1 bigger croaches.  The 3 small ones could not move as they were overturned hence easier for me to catch them and threw into the dustbin.  The big one I almost missed it when it crawled underneath of my washing machine.  Sprayed insecticides under the washing machine and managed to make it crawled out.  Sprayed a lot on it and finally died.  I have no choice but to kill it as I cannot allow it to stay in my house.

I really do not know how they came into my house but I think should be through the toilet windows.  Please uh... No more uh...

Lazy lazy

Slept late last night and woke up at 11.30am.  Had brunch and watched Japan Hour before I started to watch J dramas.  My target was to clear as many episodes as possible.

Time passed so fast. Watched a few episodes and was satisfied.  Still have some outstanding but can still watch slowly lah.

My niece did not come today hence I cannot longbang their car home.  Hence, my father sent me and my sister home.  I can take public transport but too many things to carry home so have to trouble my father lor.

Look fresh now

This morning, woke up real early at 9.30am to sweep and mop the floor before I went out to nearby Singpost to pick up my item.  The weather was cooling as it was raining.  How I wish I can sleep longer.

Bought a packet of noodle back home to eat and prepare to go out.  My haircut appointment was at 2pm.  Left home rather late and I was 10mins late for my appointment.

I feel so good now after the hair cut.  Looks fresher now.  However, I think I really looked tired.  My eyes are sleepy.

My sister did not want to shop so I just headed to Takashimaya to buy a new pair of bedroom slipper then took bus home.  I slept in the bus.

As soon as I reached home, went out again for dinner with my parents and sister.  Had dinner at Sushi Tei at Tampines One.

Quite tired today.  However, I will still watch j dramas before I sleep.  :P

Spider vs Cockroach

TGIF.  Today our team members were on weekend mood and were in high spirits.  We simply did not feel like working!  Hence went for a good lunch at 313 shopping mall.  Had Teppanyaki set lunch at Food Republic food court.  Cheap and nice.  Add Yami yogurt as dessert.

Back in office at 3.30pm.  Wow... real late uh but just don't care.  Hahaha.

Watched "The Amazing Spider-man" and it was really entertaining.  The stunts were good and I really like this movie.  No wonder my colleagues who watched it gave thumbs up.  Luckily did not miss this movie as we were still deciding if to watch this or Ice Age 4.

Movie ended at 11.40pm and we quickly walked to MRT station to catch our train.  This time no need to run.

Back home and as soon as I opened my main door, I saw 小强 beside my sofa.  OMG!!! I quickly entered and took few pieces of tissue paper to catch it.  However, it moved so fast that I could not find it.  Hence, I decided to bathe and look for it later.

After bathing, I still cannot find it so I just continue to do my ironing in my bedroom.  Decided to finish ironing since I am still not sleepy and tomorrow morning has some other chores to do.  After ironing, I found 小强 again near my sofa.  This time round, I prepared my broom to sweep under the sofa and I must ensure that I will catch it this time round.

Battle started between it and me.  It ran, I chased.  After almost 15mins, I managed to make it crawled out of the underneath of my sofa and I used my broom to sweep on it.  It was to make it turned upside down so that I can catch it easier with my tissue papers.  Finally the battle stopped and I threw it away straight into the dustbin chute.  I ran to throw it before it crawled out of the tissue papers. 

Tomorrow morning, I need to make a trip to Serangoon Central Singpost to collect my Total Pillow.  Have made haircut appointment at 2pm.  Hope can make it on time.

Back home early

Today, office nothing unusual.  Same routine to do my work.

Left office early at around 7.35pm and I was home earlier.  Hoping to have more time to watch j-dramas but wasted time watching TV instead.

Shall clear my backlogs slowly lah.

Cooked instant noodles using the pot my aunt gave me as a gift.  Really useful and just nice to cook a packet of noodle.  Yummy.

Fire Drill

This morning, there was a fire drill hence I arranged to meet up with 小珠 for breakfast.  I did not want to walk down so many floors and have jelly legs after that. 

Went to McDonald but could not find a seat as many people went in when the fire drill started.  In the end, had my breakfast at Burger King.  The breakfast was so filling that I did not really feel hungry during lunch time.

Lunch was at Burger King again.  However, it did not make me sick of the food since there was no duplication of food for my breakfast and lunch. 

The day passed quite fast and we went home at around 8.30pm.  Reached home and I cooked maggie mee for dinner plus popcorn chicken.  Yummy.

Had just booked ticket for this Friday's movie.  So happy to continue our movie time.

Many new J-dramas aired this week.  I am beginning to feel stress now.  So many backlogs.  Hahaha....

Farewell lunch

One of our colleague's last day in the company is today.  Our team and her team members had a joined farewell lunch for her.  Total 13 pax and she said she felt so honored.  So many people had left the company until I kind of feel it is "normal".  Well, good for them.

Had lunch at Akashi and I felt so satisfied with the food.  Ordered Akashi bento set as usual.  We talked rubbish during the lunch and felt so relaxed.

Cleared work and left office only at around 8.30pm.  Reached home and started to prepare my dinner.  Took out some popcorn chicken to defrost.  Took few hotdog to defrost.  Had shower and ironed clothes.  Put the food to toast and after my ironing, dinner ready.  Easy to prepare.  :)

Tomorrow our office building is having fire-drill.  I am going to have my breakfast to escape.  Cross my fingers that we can avoid it this time and no more postponing.  Original plan was for last Thursday but it rained.

Chaotic

This morning, reached office and began to explore the new email system.  We have changed to Lotus Notes from Microsoft Exchange.   Really wondering where on earth people switch from Exchange to Lotus Notes.  Exchange is a good email system and just need some upgrading to serve us better.  Big ?

Anyway, we had a lot of difficulties getting use to the new email environment.  A lot of question to check how and where to find certain function.  It's like a lot of functions are not there any more.  We are stuck!  In order for me not to grow sick of the new system, I have to tell myself that "I love this new system!".  I am a professional liar!

Shall continue to explore.

Happy Ever Laughter

Woke up real late today at 12noon. Set alarm at 10am but laid in bed and fell asleep till 12noon. Did not have much time to watch j-dramas. Just relax in the afternoon.

Had early dinner at home and left for Esplanade theater. My boss passed a ticket for "Happy Ever Laughter" to me since he already watched and the ticket was a gift for him. Some of my colleagues were going and in order not to waste the ticket, I decided to go. Heard that it was a good show.

Initially I thought that it would be a play where many comedians will gather and performed. However, it was not. Each comedian will come out and performed solo. They talked about politics, things that happened recently like the City Harvest case etc. Contents involved mature references hence this was a rated M18 show.

Their performance was really good and it made us laughed non stop. I really glad to be there. There was racist commentary etc but everyone just know that it was a performance and were not offended. It ended at 10.30pm and I took train back home. An enjoyable night with full of laughter.

Satisfied

This morning, it rained and the weather was cooling.  I finished washing clothes and went out with my sister and mum.  Our plan was to take MRT train to Promenade station for shopping at Marina Square Mall.

Took bus to Serangoon station and happily hopped on the train.  After few stations, I realised that we took the wrong direction train.  I directed them to the way I usually take train to office.  Oh dear....  In the end, we alight at Botanic Garden station and thought of taking bus from there.

When we were out of the station, the place around us looked unfamiliar.  We were at the order side of Botanic Garden (Bukit Timah entrance).  Walked and found a ice-cream cafe that was quite crowded.  We decided to take a rest and had some ice-cream.  They were good.  Next time can come again.

After our desserts, we took some time to decide if to take the train back to Promenade station or to walk to the other entrance and take bus to Marina Square.  In the end, we decided to walk as we estimated it would take about 30mins and since weather was rather cool.

Walked half way and the sun started to appear.  Very hot....  By the time we reached Tanglin entrance, we were all perspiring.  My face was very red.  I felt that I had gone through some vigorous training.  Hahaha...  Took bus to Marina Square mall and I only had about 20mins to shop before meeting Tulip and 小珠.  Felt so satisfied that I had exercised in the morning (doing housework) and the walking at Botanic garden.  I could eat more for my dinner.

Met up with them and we had poached lobsters, seafood and sashimi first.  We chatted with eating and it was another night of chit chatting session.  Glad that the atmosphere and food was good.  A good night of good food.  We enjoyed the food but very soon, our stomach could not take in more food and had to stop to digest.  I had 2 rounds of ice-cream, ate 4 lobsters, 6 pieces of salmon sashimi, 3 oysters (under performed for this) and other some some items.

Great day.  Was waiting patiently for the day to pass.  Evening time was the happiest moment.  Finally its Friday again!

No movie tonight as timing not good.  Decided to have dinner at BBQ Chicken at ARC since I bought the voucher from Groupon. The food was good and made us very full.  The set comprised of drink, soup and main course.  The chicken was very good. Shall go there again.

Tomorrow going to give Tulip a treat for her birthday.  Going to Ritz for the buffet at Greenhouse.  Waiting to attack the lobsters.

Lie low

This morning, did not know what triggered our boss to start scolding/picking on us.  Few of us got it from him.  I kept quiet as the more you explain, the worst it becomes.  So better lie low low.

During lunch, his mood became good.  Must be too hungry in the morning that caused his mood to be bad.  Hahaha.

Could not finish work early hence stayed till 8pm.  My colleague who usually drives us to the mrt station was not feeling well hence went back early.

Tomorrow is Friday.  Finally uh.  Hope will be a good day tomorrow.  :)

Cool

 Raining in the morning and it made the weather cooler.  How nice if I can sleep at home.

Had another heavy lunch today.  Initially we wanted to go to Henderson market but my boss diverted to one Teochew restaurant at Havelock Road.  The food was indeed very good.

Worked and left office at around 9pm.  Reached home and it began to be windy at around 10.30pm.  Then it rains.  Now the weather is so nice.  Hope it continues to rain throughout the night.

Checked movie schedule and there isn't suitable one this week again.  Hence we decided to go for dinner.  Bought groupon voucher for BBQ chicken earlier and we can dine there this Friday.

Delicious lunch

Cool weather today and my boss suggested to have steamboat for lunch.  Wow... surprising that he suggested that.  He was so enthusiastic and asked me to call for reservation.  In the end, 7 of us had a very very good lunch at Coca restaurant.

After lunch, I went for coffee session with customer at Suntec.  My stomach was full of water today. Haha...  Back in office on time to continue with work. 

Stayed a bit late today to clear some work.  Cannot finish yet and will try tomorrow. 

Just ordered one pair of Croc shoe for my niece.  Hope it will arrive in good condition.  The pair I bought was in good condition and it was cheap.  Not too sure it is authentic but it looks good.

Lazy to work

Its Monday again.  No mood to work.  Still thinking of weekend.

The weather was good throughout the day.  Good weather to sleep.

Decided to go home early today.  Heard my boss mentioned "sashimi" and that triggered my crave for that. 

In the end, instead of sashimi, I bought some sushi home.  30% discount from Ichiban Boshi.  My colleague also bought a few pieces.  So coincidence that she met her brother and sister at NEX.

Back home and relax.  Shall complete last episode of 未来日記.  Still like Okada Masaki.  :)

Juices craze

This morning, did some housework and left house to NEX.  Went to buy a set of U Like blender for my mom.  Took bus 53 back to Pasir Ris.

Reached at about 1pm and my niece was already there.  Nobody played with her at that time hence she was watching TV program.  After that, started to do her homework from her tuition class this morning.  Since she was busy with homework, I started to use the blender to blend something.  I took the cocktail which was left over from yesterday dinner and put some ices into it and blend them.  Turned out not so bad.

My mum cooking clams tonight.  Hence we used the blender to blend chilli with garlic.  It was very fast and my mum said she still dare not use the blender unless we are around.  I think need to let her use a few times then she will be able to handle it confidently.  My mum always like that.  Electrical appliances are always monsters to her.

Night time, we blended fresh lychees.  It was quite good.  Now I can start to blend all types of fruits.  However, cannot too often lah.  Friut juices are fattening too.  :)

Hate tomorrow....  Its Monday again.  Have to work for 5 days before Friday comes.  :(
