Not well yet

My stomach still not well yet.  Had diarrhea 4 times liao.  Do not know why...

Had lunch at McDonald today and followed by usual groceries shopping with my mum and bro. 

Back home and continued to watch J-dramas. 

Ohhh...  pain again...  I need to go for the fifth time liao...

Stomach still not feeling well

This morning woke up and my stomach is still not feeling well.  Yesterday went for many times of toilet calls.  Today still have stomach upset.  Did not know why.

Watched J-dramas in the afternoon and was strange to see my sister came home at around 3.30pm.  She said she could have stomach flu and said it must be me transmitting the virus to her.  Ai yoh... Me meh?

Still having funny feeling in my stomach.  Hope it will be fine tomorrow.

Hot hot hot weather today....  Where is the cool cool wind???

Happy niece

Finally got to see my niece today.  She had her McDonald breakfast and while watching TV program, she started to ask if I bought anything for her.  She so thick skin uh.

I passed her the Hello Kitty phone case.  When she unwrapped it, she was so happy and started to assemble it.  Straight away remove her old casing and replaced with the new one.  Next, I passed her the stationaries I bought for her.  When she saw the clarinet bookmark, she was very happy.  My sister asked her to keep nicely.

She was also very happy to see the frixion pens and the set of colourful pens I bought for her.  Teenage at her age will like all these stuffs.  The Hello Kitty scissors is unique and she found it interesting.  Glad that she likes them.

Had our mini party before dinner.  In the end, we did not open all the sweets/biscuits.  Will keep it till next week then continue.

Raining in the morning but night time very humid.  Longing for cool cool weather.

Eat n Eat

This afternoon, my sister picked me up as she rented a car today for easier transportation.  She drove me and my mum to Maxwell market for lunch.  We ordered the fish soup bee hoon and also gyoza & rojak as side dishes.  The food was very good.

Weather was rather hot today.  We went to the nearby URA building for some air-con.  Same time could go to the restroom.  Next, we went to Chinatown Point.  Walked to Peoples Park Centre to exchange Korean won for our upcoming trip. 

As my sister booked the car till 6pm only, we headed to Liang Court Meidi-ya.  I wanted to buy ice-cream lei.  My mum was so happy to see those Japanese food.  Bought some mizo paste, some veg and not to forget my favourite fruity ice-cream.

Returned car and waited for my dad to come home.  He suggested Sushi-tei for dinner and we went Tampines One.  This restaurant is now our family dinner restaurant.  My stomach is not feeling well today but I could not resist the fresh sashimi and just ate them.  Hee hee...

Movie time

Finally its Friday and movie time again.  Had a 2 weeks break due to recent trip to Japan.

We had our Friday lunch session at The Central.  Initial plan was to go Marutama for ramen.  However, Ms Cheng suggested how about Korean food.  We were the first in queue and I had to tell the staff that we cancelled our queue.

Walked to the Korean restaurant and was told that there was no tables available and had to wait for at least 15mins.  We decided not to wait and wanted to go for 山頭火.  However, it was long queue again.  Ms Cheng suggested to go back to Marutama.  I was so pai sei to go back as I was the one who cancelled the queue.  When walking in, I tried to avoid facing the staff.  Hahaha.

I ordered the spicy ramen as usual.  It was very tasty.  I liked their eggs.  We wanted to have coffee session and again, we walked one round before we landed at TCC.  Had hot tea today.

Went for my laser treatment at 5pm.  I reached at 4.50pm and was immediately sent to clean my face.  Usually I have to wait for a while for Dr Tan but today, he did not have any patient at that time and Ｉcould have my treatment immediately.  I left the clinic by 5.15pm.  Super fast...

Met up with 小珠 for movie in the evening.  We booked 6.30pm tickets as the later timing seats were limited.  Well on time and we enjoyed the movie "Marvel's Iron Man 3".  Rather interesting story although not much fighting scenes for Iron Man.  Wonder if there will be Iron Man 4???

We had dinner at Food Republic before heading home.  Had carrot cakes, chicken wings and popiah.  Nice nice.

Still at home

Did not go out and stay indoor today.

Cleaned windows and window grills.  Cleaned kitchen cupboards exterior.  Washed clothes and hanged clothes.  Did all these stuffs in the afternoon.

Cooked instant Tonkatsu noodle for dinner.  Home made chicken and prawn balls, together with fishcakes bought from NTUC.  Quite nice.  :P

At home

This afternoon, went to NEX NTUC Fairprice to buy some groceries.

Back home and realised that I missed out one bag containing a packet of instant noodle, a can of mushroom and 麻油.  I intended to cook the mushroom with the pork I bought.  In the end, I cooked it without these missing items.

The out turn was like dat.  Dunno what to call it.  I named it pork and prawn nuggets.  Hahaha...  It still taste ok lah.

Washing washing

Arrived in Singapore at around 1 am.  Unpacked and machine washed some clothing before sleeping at 5am.  Woke up at 11.30am and continued my washing and cleaning and unpacking.  Tired uh!

Whole day spent doing all the above and started to watch one epi of jdrama.  There were so many new epi released while we were in Japan as its new season now.  Shall watch them slowly.

Japan trip day 10 ~ Back home liao

Our last day stay in Osaka.  We woke up and check out at 9.35am.  Instead of staying around, we decided to go airport early.  

Walked passed the waffle shop and bought a snack.  Nice green tea cream waffle.

Bought JR tickets for airport rapid train.  Thought we could take the limited express train too but in the end had to pay express train fee on board.  However, it was ok as we could have a good rest in the train and we could reach airport faster.

Jetstar counter was closed hence we could not do early check in.  Dragged our luggages while doing our last minute shopping.  Bought a full bag of food stuffs.

We had our lunch and its Okonomiyaki again.  Haha...  We really like it.  This one was Kyoto version and it was very nice.  Ordered tako balls too.  Nice nice....

So sad....  flying back to Singapore liao.  Look forward to our next trip.  :)

Japan trip day 9 ~ Osaka Shimsaibashi / Namba / Umeda

Today was a leisure day for us.  Earlier on, we skipped visit to Nara's Mount Yoshino due to off season for cherry blossom viewing.  Hence today was our shopping day.

Bad idea to have a full day of shopping time.  In the end, I spent a lot and bought a lot of stuffs.  Clothing from GU, cardholder from OIOI, skincare etc.  However, I was satisfied to buy them lah...  Keke...

We saw tako balls, ate them.  We saw fishcakes, ate them.  We saw sweet potatoes snacks, ate them.  So shiok!

By dinner time, our stomach were quite full.  We decided to go back to the restaurant we had Okonomiyaki.  Managed to find it after some search.  We ordered the same Okonomiyaki and another dish that we saw it was tempting when the man sat beside us ate it.

Japan trip day 8 ~ Eastern Kyoto

Today, we were back in Kyoto area.  With the experience we had earlier, we decided to buy a day pass to take bus around Kyoto.  The map in Japan-guide was giving me wrong impression that Kyoto is very small and walking is no problem.

Weather today was cloudy and rained in the late afternoon.  Luckily it was not pouring heavily type.  We didn't get wet with umbrellas.  Phew....  I just changed my jeans today and did not want to get it wet.

Spent time taking photos where it was not crowded.  We also tried to take photos for two of us using our phones but were still poor on that.  Must learn....

After the walk, it was all foodie stuff....   We went back to Isetan at Kyoto station to find the cuttlefish we ate earlier.  However, we realised it was a temporary store and had changed to another store liao.  So sad uh!!!!

We ate desserts and bought a lot of nice food for dinner.  I am hooked to Macha desserts liao after this trip.

Found the same bread I ate in Kobe.  Bought them back and ate in the room as supper.

Japan trip day 7 ~ Shin Kobe ropeway / Harborland

Today, we visited Shukugawa river but due to cherry blossom had finished, there was not much to see there.  We just stayed a while.

We planned to visit Mitsui Outlet Park since I searched before that it was just one station away.  However, seeing it was all housing area, we knew something was wrong.  Asked the train station staff and he said there wasn't any around the area.  Hence, we dropped the idea and proceeded to Shin-Kobe ropeway.  

The weather was very cold today and up the ropeway, we were very cold.  Wind blowing when we reached the top and had to warm ourselves inside the souvenir shop.  This ended up me buying things again.  :P

Next, our visit was Harborland.  Since Harborland is further away from city area, we guessed maybe the outlet park is near there.  When we reached the station, we asked the information counter and glad that we were directed to the one nearest.  We decided to go after walking around Harbourland.

Harborland has a very big and nice ferris wheel.  With the blue sky today, it looked so nice.

 

Anpan man museum just opened and the place was full of kids.  Japanese parents really doted their kids.  No matter how expensive, they will buy the stuffs for them.  So envy...  We could only take pictures of the place and the things sold there.  Hahaha.

After walking around taking photos, we went to Mitsui Outlet Park.  I did not find any suitable bag and just bought some wallets for my mum, sister and niece.  Just bought one small pouch for myself.

Found a bridge that was very nice with the sunset.

Since we were early tonight, we went to the restaurant near our hotel that sold curry rice.  The curry rice was fantastic.

Japan trip day 6 ~ Mount Rokko @ Kobe

Woke up at usual time and set off to our visit to Mt Rokko.  Our itinerary was to visit Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden and Rokko Garden Terrace.  The rest of the places in the mountain we skipped.

We took JR train to Rokkomichi station and changed to bus to Rokko Cable Shita station.  Took cable car to Rokko Sanko station and from there, we had to take bus to move around the mountain places of interest.  As it may not be the peak season, the cable car and buses were not crowded.  I like it!

Our intention was to visit the Botanical Garden first but due to a slight error (we forgot to press bell to alight), we missed our stop and proceeded to the Garden Terrace first.  Not much to see there but we went to the gift shop and I bought something there.  Very cute and sweet stuff sold in the shop.  I bought a bottle of strawberry jam home.

Took some photos around the area and proceeded to the Botanical garden.  From the notice board, there were only some small flowers to be viewed at this time.  We thought we would make a quick one since nothing much to see but....  ultimately, we spent about 3 hours there.  I think for us, we can really focus and spent our time in a small place each time.  :P

We took photos of the different types of flowers in the garden.  Quite hot today and I took off my jacket.

Had dinner at Namba walk again tonight.  Yummy!  We were early tonight so had more choices to find a restaurant that we wanted to try the food.
