Ramen time

This morning, woke up quite early and decided to go for shopping with my sister and mum.

Left home at 12noon and decided to have lunch at Ippudo. The queue was rather long but since we were already there and had intention to eat, we queued patiently. This was the 3 time I went there but I could not remember which ramen did I ordered previously. We decided to choose 3 different types to try.

3 different colour bowls. White, red and black. My mum chose the red. My sister chose the black. So I left with white. The white was originally chosen by myself and it really suits my taste. My mum said the red one was too oily and she preferred the black one that my sister chose. She likes miso paste. Next time, I must remember my choice. :)

Went to Metro and Takashimaya for shopping. Need to shop for christmas presents. However, we ended up buying things for our home instead. I still have some items to buy so need to go shopping again next week. Not much time left liao.

Twilight

Friday is always the best day of the working week. Everyone are in good mood today. Me too...

Went to VivoCity during lunch time. Our favourite lunch venue on Friday is at VivoCity. We can eat and shop before going back to office. For us, we can also collect our movie tickets for tonight's show.

We booked 8.50pm show for "The Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn Pt 1" hence we did not have time to eat dinner as we left office quite late after clearing our work.

Sneaked in with McDonald Nuggets. Luckily no spot check on bags and we could eat quite "safely" as we had 2 solo seats corner of the back row. No one beside us so we could eat without worry that people could see our "illegal" food.

This show was good. No wonder the reviews are so good. Now have to wait for pt 2. Hopefully we do not have to wait for too long. Otherwise, I will forget the first part and difficult to continue watching part 2. :)

One more day

One more day to go and it's Friday. The day I've been looking forward since Monday. Will be watching movie tomorrow at 8.50pm hence hopefully, we can finish our work early and be on time for dinner and movie. Last week, we missed the beginning part of the movie.

We went to Alexandra Village for lunch today. It's been at least 5 years since I last went there for lunch. Many stores changed. Ate a mini wok soup noodle and it was good. Next time can eat again.

Bought tradition bread and cake from a confectionery that is there for many many years. It is run by an old couple and the breads are charged reasonably. Quite cheap until we were figuring out if we were billed wrongly.

Today, we left office quite late at 10.20pm. I really hope next week, I can go home earlier. Not healthy lei...

Not time to relax

Another long day with no time to relax like last week. Things keep pouring in for me to settle.

Had lunch with customer at Keyaki Japanese restaurant and Pan Pacific hotel. I chose the teppanyaki set and it was very good. The garlic fried rice was super the good uh.

Next time, shall go again if have chance.

Birdei

Today is mine birdei. So fast, one year older. Why age not reversing lei?

My colleagues treat me lunch and celebrated with me this evening with a lovely strawberry shortcake. Yummy...

Not much surprises today. Except we had to do a short video for our company's annual d n d at Shenzhen next year. As most of us will not be joining, the company wants us to do a short greeting video. It was so comical that we kept laughing. Finally completed after 2 ngs.

Left office late today. Must make sure I try to go home a little bit earlier each day. That's my wish.

Monday blue again

Monday... Don't feel like waking up in the morning. Don't feel like going to work today. But... no choice but to wake up and go to work.

Quite busy the whole day hence the day passed very fast. Zoom..... and it's night time liao.

Back home waiting for 4 days more to go and its Friday again.

Monday yet to over and I am already thinking of Friday. Why isn't everyday is Friday???

Not Sun Day

Today, the weather was cooling in the morning and rained in the late afternoon. Its Sunday today but not a Sunny Day. I cleared some office work this morning and started to watch j dramas before going out in the evening.

Managed to clear up to date for few of the dramas. Those yet to start, still pending. Left house at 5pm for dinner at The Buffet Town at Raffles City Shopping Center.

We met up with my elder sister's family and went in. There were varieties of food there. Chinese, Italian, Indian, Japanese etc. However, the food were quite filling and we could not eat much. Quite good and just that we our stomach could not take too much.

Went to NEX after dinner to buy a cooking pot for my mum. My younger sister won some vouchers for winning games when she participated bowling competition held by her company. The Fairprice Extra at NEX is operating 24 hours hence we went there since the store is bigger and sell more stuff.

My sister sponsor a rice cooker for my new home. Not expensive but is enough for me. One more item added to my storage list. Now my brother's room is my store room. Hee hee...

Why why why....

Problem kept popping up. After settling the issues yesterday, this morning I received a call again that there was another one.

That was a long one to solve. Finished all the communications only at about 3.30pm. Monday still have to follow up. So sian....

Today went to Courts Mega Store at Tampines. Not prepared... but ultimately placed a deposit for a set of bed frame + mattress from Sealy. Intention was to get from Simmon at a later date but after getting recommendation by Sealy promoter, I made the decision. Reason = lock in promotional price lah. Women are like that. Hahaha.

Since I bought 2 items earlier, I need not pay additional delivery charge. This is the good point of getting the big items at same store.

Bought a queen size bed. It is a middle range model. I like one of the expensive one but don't really think I need it. Slept on it and it was very comfortable. That model is currently used by St Regis hotel in Singapore. Another one model is currently used by Capella hotel. However after comparing it with the one I chose, there was not much difference so I bought the cheaper one. The difference is $1000 and the promoter said if I found no difference, no need to buy the expensive one.

Dinner appointment with 小珠 and Tulip was cancelled as Tulip was not feeling well. We postpone for 2 weeks. Shall enjoy the good food in 2 weeks time.

After shopping at Courts, we went to Ikea. Just bought some plastic cups and plates then we headed to Tampines for dinner. Had our dinner at 店小二 and went home.

Spent whole day out and no time to watch j dramas. Oh dear!

Super bad day

Today, it marks the worst day I experienced for this year.

Kept hearing bad news since morning. The earlier ones were not related to me but the night ones were. We were rushing to clear our work so that we could leave office to catch the movie at 9.20pm. However, problems kept coming in unexpectedly. Did not know if I was lucky or unlucky. Unlucky was I got 2 problems simultaneously. Lucky was they happened before the movie and managed to settle before I left office.

In the end, we were rather late and left not much time for dinner. Our plan was to dine at LJS. Left 10 mins before 9.20pm but we still proceed with dinner. 小珠 went to collect tickets and I went to LJS to find seats. It was rather empty hence I proceeded to buy our dinner and waited for 小珠 to be back.

After dinner, we "cheong" to the theater. We were late by 10mins (after the suppose to be 20mins advertisement+trailers time). Hopefully we didn't miss too much. :)

Good and entertaining movie. Maybe we were too rush that we found that we just got seated and the movie finished so fast. :P

Strange scene at Pasir Ris bus interchange. So many people waiting for buses at midnight. The feeder bus I took was so full until the driver had to shout and requested passengers to move towards the back to allow more passengers to board the bus. Luckily, I managed to get a seat and took a relaxing journey home instead of standing like a sardine.

Holiday mood

Today, many of my colleagues were same as me. Holiday mood liao.

We did not feel like working. For this whole week, we had lunch till at least 3pm. But to clarify, we went out for lunch very late. So it was reasonable. Hee hee...

Boss on leave from today till mid month. So we are a little bit more relax. He is in USA so will not call us so often lah.

Waiting for Friday night to enjoy my weekend again.

J drama chase

Reached home at 9.40pm and rushed to watch j dramas. However, still ended up stuck to watch the china drama (新环珠格格).

In the end, today could not watch 3 epi again. Guess can only complete 2 the most. Try again tomorrow liao.

Unlucky and bad day

Today was alright until bad news came after lunch. Problem in my work and now there are few cases for me to handle. So unlucky. Initially thought today will be a good day but....

Rather tired today. How I wish it is Friday again. Day dreaming again.

Left office earlier today and managed to reach home before 9.30pm. So good and can have more time to watch PPS.

Sunday Sun Day

Today is Sunday and really a Sun Day. No rain and the weather was so hot.

My niece came and she watched PPS next to me. She still like Doremon.

Finally when my younger sis came back, she pestered her to play monopoly deal with her. Too bad... I still cannot figure out how to play. Looks complicated uh.

So fast. End of weekend.

Courts Mega sale

Went shopping at Centerpoint Robinson and saw there were so many different types of mattress. Still cannot decide which one to buy. Just to have a feel on the prices. Took an application form for Robinson card and shall decide if to just sign up in case I decide to buy bed frame + mattress from Robinson. There is a 5% rebate for card members. Although they are having sales now but I cannot buy first as yet to get key for new house and do not know how/where to place my bed. Dimensions yet to be measured so place safe don't buy first.

It was raining so we walked to the next door mall. We went to Courts to look for the prices for the mattress. They do not carry Simmons/Serta/Sealy. Walked to see the fridges to check any good model and also washing machine. They are having mega sales this weekend.

In the end, I committed on a fridge and washing machine. Both under the promotion items for this weekend. 10 sets available for each branch hence price rather reasonable. I bought a 2 door LG fridge that costs $499 (Usual price $749, excl this weekend $595)) and Sanyo 8kg washing machine at $389 (Usual price $500+). Paid deposit of $100 first. As I am not sure when will I be moving in, just put a tentative date in Jan. Shall change date once decided later. The deposit was to reserve on the price and not the stock. If by then, no stock, I can choose the alternate model offered or to choose another model. Courts has many models and brands to choose from so no worries. Just lock in my position. Haha.

Had a very good dinner at Ritz Carlton Greenhouse. I under performed today. Ate just one round of ice-cream (6 small scoops) and 2 pair of lobsters. But I ate 14 pcs of oysters. There were 4 different kinds of oysters today. Sashimi was good too. Fresh prawns were good too. Cakes were good too. Aiyoh, everything super good!!!

* PS: I gave wrong house unit no to Courts sales person. Need to amend later. :P

Happy Feet 2

Today, the atmosphere in office was like Christmas eve. Not much activities and it really felt like holiday eve. Perhaps its Friday too that everyone was in a very relax mood.

We went for lunch at 1pm and back in office at around 3.25pm. Luckily boss not back yet. He also went to eat snake. Booked massage session for 2 hours! Haha...

Not many sales enquiries today hence I could do my work slowly. Left office at around 8.15pm and had desserts (or should it be dinner?) at Max Brenner Chocolate Bar. Craving for the waffles. Completed our meal within 1 hour and we were not late for our movie. We watched "Happy Feet 2" and it was a very warm story. I like little Eric. Soooo cute and adorable.

Tomorrow, had to wake up early as my mum has doctor appointment at The Central @ Clarke Quay. Plan is to have lunch and go for shopping. Evening, I am giving a treat to my parents and younger sis as a celebration of receiving bonus for the year.

Will be having dinner at The Greenhouse @ Ritz Carlton. No credit card promotion is applicable and the price per pax is $82++ due to the spread includes festive dishes. Nevermind lah. Most important is food is good and has good quality. Everyone happy = I happy.

Celebration

This morning, all of our team members received the letter announcing our bonus amount. My colleague suggested to have lunch for celebration. Initially, we girls decided to go to Akashi Japanese restaurant. However, changed to Takumi Tokyo at Marina Keppel after my boss suggested it.

Booked a table for 9 pax and we reached there at about 1pm. We decided on the set menu that cost $15++ but overwritten by my boss to order the set menu that cost $35++. This set was more worth hence he just ordered for all. Adding sashimi sushi and hand roll.

The set was so tempting and it taste good. Very worth it. All of us enjoyed the food. In the end, we did not pay for the lunch. Our plan was to go on dutch but my boss paid for it (he can claim). Since we did not pay ourselves, we plan to go to Akashi Japanese restaurant again to celebrate one more time. :P

Now, I am having back ache. Not sure why suddenly like dat. :(

Happy day

This afternoon, we went out for lunch at Vivo City and back in office only at 3.45pm. Need to run errands. Boss said we all 造反了!

Not many enquiries this evening hence I was able to leave office earlier. Finally got letter from boss on bonus. Hee hee... I can use the money to help on my renovation of my house.

Still tired. Will try to rest earlier tonight. Yesterday, still slept late at 1.30am.

Tired Tired Tired x millions billions times

Morning 6am being waken up by phone call. Bad news for one of our deliveries and it made me unable to get back to sleep as need to follow up with various parties. In the end, disturbed my colleagues by waking them up to settle the problem.

Back in office and continued to solve the issue. Big big issue! Last night already knew this would happened but could not prevent it. Whole afternoon apologizing to many parties. This is not the end. Tomorrow continue to follow up.

Disturbed my sleep and it made me felt so sleepy and tired the whole day. Need to sleep earlier tonight if possible.

Sleepy

Today, I felt so sleepy since morning. How I wish today is still Saturday or Sunday.

Back to work and once I reached home, I felt my whole body collapsing soon. With eyes so tired but still want to watch TV and surf net.

Still have many epi of J-dramas to watch. Think today can only watch one. Just finished watching TV program after reaching home at 11pm.
