This morning, woke up quite late finally. Had hot chocolate for breakfast and prepared to go out for lunch at around 12noon. My mum called and said she wanted to come and meet us hence we waited for her to reach before we headed to NEX for lunch.
Initially we wanted to try a fast food store that my colleague recommended but it was closed down. So fast closed down liao. Hence we decided to eat at Qiji. We were lucky to find a table once we reached there.
After we finished, we took train to Farrer Park for 小珠 and Dhoby Ghaut for us. We went to Takashimaya first and then took bus to Parco Bugis. I bought a few plates to make up to a set of 4 to those I have at home. Had a drink at TCC before headed home. We asked our father to ta bao food home hence we reached home rather early.
Oh yah... a very bad thing happened. I wanted to use the Longchamp bag bought from Paris and only to find out that there is a security tag still attached. I cannot force it out as the ink will spill. Need to find a way to remove it safely. Will call the Ion outlet to try my luck if they have same equipment here to help me. Very very stupid thing to happen.... So angry!

Its here...
This afternoon, I went to ICS with 小珠 as her new identity card was ready and fixed appointment to collect today at 1pm. My colleague drove us to Bugis MRT station so that it would be faster for us to just take train for one stop to Lavender station. It was so fast that the process + waiting time just took less than 10mins.
We took train again to Bugis station as I would like to go to the temple for praying. I did not go for quite a long time hence decided to go today since on the way too. After the praying, we had lunch at nearby coffee shop. It was drizzling and we dared not walk too far from the bus stop.
Had laksa for lunch and headed back to office by bus. Journey took about 30mins and reached office at 3pm. Earlier than the 3.30pm yesterday. Hahaha.... Cannot everyday like dat uh. Once or twice in a blue moon can lah.
My dining set delivery time was 9pm onwards and we left office at about 8pm. Reached NEX and bought sushi from Ichiban-boshi. 30% off and it costs just $10.20 for 2 boxes of delicious sushi.
We finished our food by 9.20pm and there was still no phone call from the delivery man. Checked and found that the receipt printed wrong delivery date as 4 June and I did not realise it at all. The shop closed at 9.30pm hence I managed to find the sales staff that served me. He told me that his schedule showed 8 Jun and if no one calls by 10.30pm, to call him again.
Luckily, the delivery man called at 9.50pm and said will reach at about 10.20pm. Finally the dining table and chairs are here. Phew...
The red translucent chairs blend with my kitchen cabinets colour. Right choice indeed.

One more day
Good news! Its Thursday night. One more day to go and its weekend again.
I am looking forward to tomorrow and hope I can go back as early as possible so that we have time to take our dinner before reaching home at 9pm. No movies tomorrow and 小珠 will stay for one night tomorrow. She still needs to go to CitySquare Mall to do some accounts.
Very thin enquiries today. In fact, only ONE. Hahaha... Just hope tomorrow will not be a lot coming in.

7.30pm
Another slow day. Yearning for evening to go home to watch j dramas since morning.
I declared to my colleagues that I wanted to go home early today. At 7.30pm! Changed to 7pm as we will definitely dragged. I did it and we left office at about 8pm. Correct... 8pm. I did log off PC at 7.30pm and waited for my other colleagues to complete their work. Hence, I really did it as declared. Ha ha ha.
Back home at 9pm and since it was still early, I just do fast cleaning of my toilet. Just scrubbed the floor and washed the toilet bowl. Just for common toilet. Next time has time then wash the master bedroom toilet.
Ate ice-cream with 2 pieces of Barcook bread and one orange. My simple dinner. Sounds unhealthy.... but don't care lah. :P

Bought last piece of furniture for my house
During lunch time, I finally bought the dining table and chairs for my house. My colleagues went with me and contributed suggestions for me.
Went to Star Living showroom at Labrador and initially, I thought I could not find a suitable size table as most of them were of big sizes. Luckily asked the sales assistant and he showed us their smallest square table. The size is just nice for 4 seater. Similar size as the one I saw at Franc Franc. The only difference is this piece comes with black tempered glass. Franc Franc piece is with white tempered glass.
I decided on this table as it costs only $259 after discount. However, the chairs I bought were expensive (although they were already considered cheap after 50% disc). I love transparent ghost chairs and as they are usually expensive (costs about $200), I was considering previously. The chairs are having promotion price now and it's 50% disc but with no stock when I decided to choose them.
Was browsing the other models of acrylic chairs and found another one which is more simple but with bigger seating area. It came with 4 colours and I finally chose the red after getting some suggestions from my colleagues and sister. The delivery date is this coming Friday after 9pm. Speedy delivery uh. However, this meant that I cannot watch movie on this Friday.
Looking forward to this last set of furniture I need to buy for my house.

Relaxing Sunday
Wow... I woke up at 12 noon today! Did wake up at 10am for toilet call and slept till 12 noon. Very good sleep on my sister's bed. Heard from my mum that she had ache...
Watched TV programs in the afternoon and just managed to watch 2 epi of J drama. OMG! I still have so many backlogs. Had to cut down those yet to see dramas. Too many to chase after liao.
My parents, brother and sister came to my house after dinner. My dad helped to fix the lock holder on my gate. Bought it yesterday and finally I need not hold the lock each time I enter or exit the house.
Mopped the floor after they left and settled down. Shall watch 1 or 2 j drama epi before going to sleep. So sad that tomorrow needs to work. Now looking forward to next Friday.

Now my sis's turn
This morning, woke up at 9.15am as need to prepare for the delivery of my sofa legs. 小珠 woke up early too at around 9.45am. We hoped the guy will come earlier but the delivery was made only near 12 noon.
We went to NEX for lunch and chosen Ichiban Boshi Japanese restaurant. The food varieties were too many that it took quite some time for me to decide. 小珠 decided on Tempura Ten Don and I chose the chicken cutlet set. The portions were so big that we were very very full after eating.
After lunch, we took North East line to Farrer Park for 小珠 and Chinatown for me. I met up with my mum and sister at Chinatown Point bus stop and we took bus to Jurong East. We went to JCube to shop shop since it is a new shopping mall.
Bought gelato and shared. It was rather expensive but no choice lah. They were too tempting. I chose the Forest berries + Passion fruits and Pistachios + Passion fruits combinations. The portions were big and that made up the expensive price.
Was shopping and heard someone called my name. It was my elder sister. So surprised to see her there. She was idling there from 2 to 6pm waiting for my niece to finish her class. Today she decided to wait near the education centre instead of going home and so coincidence to meet us.
Was chatting before we leaving JCube to head for Orchard Far East Plaza and we saw some one familiar. It was my colleague Ah Thin. So coincidence to meet 2 people outside. Never come across that for so long liao. She was there with her old friends.
We left and took bus to Orchard. It was such a long journey. Reached there at 7pm and we zoomed in to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab that my sister finally decided to buy as the price went down to a reasonable level.
Went for dinner at East Ocean Teochew restaurant at Ngee Ann City. The food was very good. We may go there for Father's day celebration but needs to make reservation. Will avoid actual day.
Bought 2 slices of cakes from The Patisserie and there were so nice. Next time can buy again. After 8pm, it's 30% off at Takashimaya basement food place.
So fast a day passed. My sister so good to let me sleep on her bed tonight while she sleeps on the mattress. She said like that won't disturb me when she wakes up tomorrow morning. Cos... I told her to wake me up once she woke up so that I can change to sleep on her bed. Hee hee... For that goodwill, I will sponsor her the Samsung Galaxy tab cover.

Surprised
Friday is here finally. Was in a very good mood today.Supposed to have meeting at customer's office this morning but was called off and postponed to Monday. Luckily I still decided to wear jeans today. Otherwise "i wan" uh!
Got summoned from boss to the pantry this afternoon. Four of us went together and my boss handed a letter each to us. I asked him if it was termination letter? Hahaha... It was increment letter. I was so surprised that we are given a slight pay rise. Better than nothing. Can help to pay for my utility bills etc.
This evening, we watched movie "Dark Shadows" at 9.05pm. My another 2 colleagues decided to join us for dinner and we went to Pasir Panjang food centre to eat the 煮炒. We reached there at 8.05pm and already decided the dishes while on our way there. Ordered from the least crowded stall and the uncle really served us in lightning speed as we told him we were rushing for time. By 8.45pm, we finished our dinner.
The movie was not bad. Quite nice though the story was not those very surprising type. Overall able to give us an entertaining night.
小珠 staying overnight at my house. Tonight no need to be lonely liao. :)

One more day to go and TGIF
Counting down..... Tomorrow is Friday! TGIF liao!
Really hope Friday night is today. Just one more day to go lah.
Today our boss on leave too. Two days not around and so glad to have some freedom as he was not there where he can any time just call you and ask you question or to do things. Glad that tomorrow is Friday but sad that he will be back in office.
I a bit sotong today as my colleague was telling me that our chairman came to our floor this evening. I thought she was joking but it was true. They were so surprised that I was not aware. Ah Cheng told me that she did tell me but I did not register it. It was the time that I was helping her to do some checking of data. The chairman actually did walk near to my workstation and I totally unaware. Me super "hardworking" uh! Hahaha.
小珠 finally confirms that she can come to my house to stay overnight tomorrow. So we can go home together tomorrow after the movie. She is going to City Square mall on Saturday afternoon and it will be nearer to go there from my house.
Today is end of May. So fast almost half year passed.

Watsons close door sales
Terrible day.... My eyes are so sleepy that refusing to open wide. I had to eat and eat to keep myself awake.
Went to Clementi hawker centre for lunch today. Nice nice porridge. Bought a cloth to cover my kitchen windows to prevent direct sunlight shining on my cabinets.
My colleague told me that today is Watsons close door sales for members. She passed me her membership card and I left office early with my colleague to "visit" Watsons at NEX. Left behind 小珠 and few of my usual overtime kakis.
Need to queue to get into the store as they were controlling the crowd. However, it was quite fast to get in. I bought some items and queued for payment. The queue was quite long and halfway through, the store assistant asking any one paying cash as the counter has no queue. I quickly got out of the queue and paid cash. Too many people and I could not see that there were actually 2 different queue. LOL.

Lazy day
Tuesday. Hot and warm day. How I wish its raining to make the weather cooler.
Had been lazy and did not feel like working again. Holiday lag??
Yet to receive any call from Courts to confirm the delivery of my sofa set legs this Saturday. Shall wait for another few days. If not, I have to chase them to confirm.

Today, we went through a very comical meeting and everyone just listened to "music". Not something interesting to mention.
Met up with Tulip for lunch together with 小珠. Wow she lost weight and so envy lei. This is the hard work of exercising and cut down carbo which I cannot make it.
Evening, we went home quite late as usual and I reached home at 10pm. I was cleaning my shoe when some one just greeted me. It was a teenage boy who was selling ice-cream. I did not want to buy at first since I still have some ice-creams in the fridge but the boy said he just left 2 bars and hope I can buy from him so that he can end the day earlier. He earned by commission so must sell finish as soon as possible. I could not reject him since he said he just started this vacation job.
So sian lei... Tomorrow just Tuesday. How I wish tomorrow is Friday again. Hahaha... Wishful thinking!

Auntie Tan
My niece came to Pasir Ris home and as soon as she arrived, she asked where was her present. She had been asking for it since the day we came back from our holiday.
She got her blue haversack and was so happy. Started to remove her things from her old bag and put everything in the new one. She loves blue colour.
Spent the day relaxingly at home and went to Fairprice to buy some groceries before heading home. My brother in law drove us there so I could buy more things. Auntie Tan buying groceries again. Big packets big packets brought home. Hahaha...
My sister staying overnight today. My mum looks quite lonely when all of us left home just now. Ai yah... My brother still at home lah and one day only mah. My sister will be home tomorrow.

Sofa is here finally but...
This morning, did some washing of clothes and waited for the sofa to be delivered. The time slot was 3 - 5pm but glad that the delivery man called to say they could come at 1.30pm. Good for me as I could go out after the delivery. My mum and sister came to my house first and ta bao lunch for me. Initially thought we could go out for lunch and be back by 3pm.
The sofa came and it was rather a huge set and it nearly could not enter through my door. The guys tried to squeeze it in and luckily managed to push it in. The guys unpacked the sofa and found that the "legs" are missing. No choice. They told me that their office has to schedule another date to send the "legs" and fix them. Temporary can sit on the sofa but don't move it. So bad coordination uh. The set looks good in my living room. Initially still worried that it will be too big and make walkway narrow but so far ok lah. Has scheduled for next Sat morning delivery. Finally I can sit and watch TV or PPS through my TV.
Went to Orchard Takashimaya with my sister and mum. My sister bought WMF cultery 12 pcs set to replace the old spoons and forks. Reasonable price at $35. I bought a tissue holder to put in my living room. Wanted to buy a slipper but cannot find a suitable one.
Moved to Paragon Metro and then Orchard Ion. Went to Daiso and spent money on "auntie" items. Followed by dinner at Watami Japanese restaurant. Had not been there for quite some time and we enjoyed the food there. I ordered the Yuzu soda as usual. Nice nice. Next time can try buying soda drink and mix with yuzu jam (korea stuff). Hope it tastes the same. Haha.

Movie Movie
Its Friday! So happy that I can have rest tomorrow. Too tired after coming back from trip. Need to have some more rest. Very quiet this morning in office as few of my colleagues not in. One on MC, 2 on urgent half day leaves, 1 coming in office late and 3 travelling. 1 on Pm leave. How I wish I can take Pm leave too....
Don't really feel like working today and glad that time passed and finally its evening time. Time for our movie at 9pm. We left office and bought sushi from Giant Supermarket as dinner.
Watched Men in Black 3. Some of the parts were quite boring as there were a lot of talking and I could not understand some parts thought there were subtitles. Perhaps due to my tiredness, I fell asleep at some point of the scenes but woke up quite immediately as I think my brain was telling me that I need to continue the movie. Hee hee...
My sister not coming to my house tonight but will meet me for lunch at NEX. Therefore, I shall do some housework in the morning and go for shopping. My sofa set delivery time is 3 - 5pm so need to be back home by then.

Zombie
Woke up at 7.15am and was so sleepy and tired. When I reached office, my colleagues could tell that I am very tired from my look. I believe I do look like a zombie now. Eyes cannot open wide too. It stayed like that until evening time. I finally "woke up" and did not feel so tired.
Back home now and feel sleepy again. Tonight shall try to sleep earlier lah. Tomorrow going for movie again. Stopped for 2 weeks and now resume. :)
Cute cupcakes from my colleague whose wife just gave birth. His baby is now 1 month old. Look at the small shoe. Kawaii ne.

Relaxing
Could not sleep yesterday. Having jetlag. I cleared my emails till 5am and woke up at 10am this morning. Hanged my clothing near the window so that they can be dried easily. True enough, all were dried by afternoon.
Had instant noodles for brunch and started to read emails again plus watching j dramas at the same time. Just want to relax today.
Went out to pack food for dinner and started to eat chocolates. Hahaha...
Need to sleep earlier today in order to adjust back to Singapore time. Hope I will be able to concentrate tomorrow when I am in office.
Took a picture of sunset from my bedroom window. Not everyday can see this. Mon to Fri in office til late hours. Sat and Sun at Pasir Ris home. :)

Back home
After taking 13hrs of travelling time in the flights (not including 2 1/2hrs transit at Doha), we finally reached Singapore at 3.30pm. I reached home at around 4.15pm and tried to go every corners of my house to see if there were any cockroaches. Found one dead in the kitchen. Either it was hungered to death or suffocated.
I unpacked my luggage and started to wash my clothing so that they can dry soonest. Swept the floor and mopped the floor. My parents and sister came to meet me for dinner at the coffee shop near my house. They said that if they did not come, either I will skip dinner or eat instant noodles.
Started to download my emails and need to wait till it is completed. Total around 1250 emails. I already tried to delete some on the first 2 days of my trip but gave up after finding it so tedious plus no time.
Now very alert. Will try to clear as much emails as possible so that tomorrow can relax a bit before starting work on Thursday. :)
