Movie time

Its Friday!

Finally we went for our usual Friday movie night again.  Missed last week and glad that we could go today.

We watched at GV Marina as the duration for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" was pretty long and we need to watch 8 plus show.  Luckily the venue was near our office as we left office pretty late and was late for the movie by about 10mins.  Ta bao Burger King's burgers in for our dinner.

The year is coming to an end and soon will be a new year again.  :)

Its another busy day for me.  

Tried to clear my work but don't seem to be able to meet my plan.  I still have some outstanding paperwork and I must clear it by tomorrow....

Glad that I managed to close 2 deals again today.  Really can close deals when boss not around.  Hahaha...

Had farewell lunch with one of our overseas colleague who are here for 2 1/2 months.  So fast that its time for her to go back to Germany.  Another colleague will replace her.  We had lunch at Korean restaurant where few of my colleagues did not manage to fill up their stomach due to they didn't like beef and only ate vegetables and drank soup.

This Saturday going to my brother-in-law's niece's birthday party.  I managed to get a pressie for the little girl.  The item is big but I think it is quite an interesting present for her.  

Happier today

Today, I managed to close 2 deals.  Finally did it after having zero sales for 2 days.  :)

Went to Orchard this afternoon.  Purpose was to collect my boss ipad.  We had lunch at Watami @ Ion.  Nice food uh.  Although I just had it on Sunday.  :P

Booking movie tickets for this Friday.  Hope I can watch the movie peacefully....

Japanese food again

This afternoon, our overseas colleague gave me a treat.  She is going back to Germany this Saturday after staying here for about 2 1/2 months.

We went to Yamagawa Japanese restaurant at The Plaza as both of us like the food there.  I ordered the same lunch set again.  Hee hee.

Very poor sales this week.  Did not close any new deal.  My boss going to nag again.  I told my colleagues that better ask our boss not to be in office.  Last week while he was on leave, I managed to close at least one deal each day.  Haiz....  NO TP liao!!!  How to meet target???

Birthday gift

So fast...  Its Monday again.  Looking forward to Christmas.  I like this festive season.

Quite busy today and kind of have my paperwork piling up.  Need to clear as much as possible tomorrow.

I received my belated birthday gift today from 小珠. Its a very useful item for me to use.  I like it very much.  Tried using it when I reached home and its cool!  So much easier for me to type using the keyboard.    :)

Oh yah... Yesterday I finally cleared Candy Crush Saga level 409.  Luckily there was a lollipop for me to knock on the block.  Otherwise, I will still be stuck...

Sad day

So sad.... its Sunday night again.  How I wish tomorrow still weekend.  Not enough rest.

Had dinner at Watami @ Raffles City.  After that, we went to Robinson to buy CNY clothing for my dad.  He put on a lot of weight and his trousers all cannot buttoned.  Tummy round round liao.

Chose 3 pcs of trousers and 2 shirts for him.  Just nice total $181 and for every $180, entitled $30 rebates for Robinson card member.  Wow... luckily went there today as it is the last day liao.  Saved some money.

Did not manage to clear my outstanding jdramas.  Still many to watch.  Jia you!

Angry uh

This morning, I had my 2 units of aircon serviced.  The contractor came earlier at 10.40am instead of 11 - 11.30am.  Luckily I just woke up.

My aircon unit in my room still continues to leak.  Do not know why like dat.  :(

Went to Orchard for shopping.  In the end bought all from Isetan.  Glad that I managed to complete my shopping list.

Met up with my parents and bro for dinner at Sushi Tei @ Nex.  Birthday month hence got extra discount.

Angry when I took the bus home from interchange.  One couple of about 60 years old cut queue in front of us by talking to someone they knew queuing in front of us.  They were somehow elderly so its ok for us.  However, the man still dared to tell a teenage boy, who wanted to join his parents in front of the queue, to queue up!!!

My blood boiled when the bus came.  We were almost at the entrance door of the bus when a young couple (abt 20+) just walked and cut the queue by walking "normally" up the bus.  They were just in front of me.  I was so angry and said loudly "wow can dun queue uh" but they simply bo chap.  I was so angry and how I wish I walked faster and told them off to queue up before they boarded the bus.  Very angry.  They were young and still act like dat!!!!!!

End of "holiday"

TGIF!!!!

Happy that today is Friday but unhappy that its the last day of our "holiday".  Our boss coming back from his holiday on Monday.  He sure will bugged on us for status of things he wants us to do.  I am too busy to work on it.  Die liao lor.  Sure get reprimanded by him.

Another piece of good news was our company declared 24th and 31st as non working days.  Yippy!!! No need to go to office but guess will still have to standby for any last min enq.  This job does not allow us to have "off day" at all.

No movie tonight as the timing is no good.  Hence we went for dinner instead.  Had the fish steamboat with few of my colleagues.

No mood to work

Its Thursday liao.  This morning really no mood to work.  I think I holiday mood liao.

Went to Marina Square for lunch today with our ex-colleagues.  I told them it is really ironical that when we were still with the same co, we did not have chance to have lunch together.  Now... we meet up about once a week.

Glad to join for the lunch.  :P

Left office at 11.15pm.  Had to finish as much as possible of my backlog.

Ramen

This afternoon, I had ramen at Ion basement.  Felt so satisfied after eating.  Spicy soup with nice noodles.  Hee hee.

Not too busy this evening and I cleared most of my paperwork before going home.  Tomorrow shall continue with the rest.

Yawn..... so tired.

So happy that tomorrow is Thursday liao.  Another happy news is that our company declared full day off on Christmas eve.  Hurray!!!  Although I may still expecting some enquiries to keep coming in, but at least can work from home.

Lunch treat

This afternoon, we went to Millenium Walk's Ma Maison for lunch.  Its to celebrate my belated BD.  We followed with coffee and cakes session.

How we wish no need to go back to work.  :P

Today not many enquiries hence I took some time to tidy up my paperwork.  Progressing slowly on my new tasks.

Start of the week

Its Monday again.  So sad.... Have to work for 5 days before weekend.

Xmas is approaching and I have no chance to really go to Orchard to experience the festive atmostphere.  Shall see if this Sat will have chance to go or not.

So sad.  Its Sunday night again.

Just saw news about riots at Little India.  Do not understand who started it.  Must be some "educated" person triggering it.  Otherwise, how does foreigners like construction workers etc able to gather around (400 of them) to make up this riot???

First, the protest by bus driver.  Now riot.  Next is ....  ???

Zoo

This morning, I woke up at 6.30am and realised I did not set alarm to wake up at 7.30am.  Since there was still an hour, I set the alarm and went back to sleep.  Going to Zoo today with my parents and sister.  Meeting them at 9am at bus stop.

Disaster!  I forgot that I set the alarm only for weekdays and it did not ring as planned.  When I woke up and looked at the time.  OMG!!! Its already 8.45am.  I quickly text my sister not to get out of the house until I am ready.  Zoomed to bathe and did everything very fast.  Managed to get out of house by 9.25am.

Took bus to the zoo and luckily today's weather was good and we walked slowly round the place.  We saved a lot today.  My sister's actual BD today hence her admission is free ($22).  My parents enjoyed senior citizen discount and just paid $11 each.  My ticket was 40% off (better dun tell the reason here) hence paid just 13.20.  In total, we saved $52.80.  Wow...  Good bargain.

We finished walking by around 3pm and took bus back to AMK interchange.  Walked a while and took bus to NEX.  Met up with my brother and had dinner at Swensen.

My sister got a complimentary Birthday Firehouse sundae since its her actual date of birth.  Saved $ again.

Real happy to pay lessor.  :P

Wasted

Movie tonight was wasted.  I spent most of the time looking and sending emails and sms.  Had to work on one enq.  My colleague also could not watch the whole movie.  She had encountered some problem on her work and need to coordinate with various parties.  Haiz..... wasted money.

Luckily I did watch a little bit of movie "Frozen" and asked 小珠 to explain some parts in order for me to fill up those missing pieces.  Finally able to get the full story.  Nice movie.  Too bad cannot concentrate on it and laughed all the way.

Happy BD to myself.  :)

Xmas dinner

Totally busy and busy day today.  Nothing can described more than this word "busy".

We had our company's xmas dinner tonight at Bacchanalia @ Coleman Street.  Our colleagues really dressed up to meet the them "Oscars".  Few our us were so stressed and felt out of place.  Dared not go with them.  Hahaha.

In fact, we worked till very late and went there just in time for the food.  No time to mingle around.  I did not really have chance to slowly taste and digest the food.  I was busy on the phone with work and just swallowed every month.  The waiter even wanted to clear my plate with almost full piece of salmon.  

The food was good overall and it was an expensive meal.  Our company booked the whole restaurant tonight for this event.  Great work for my colleagues who spent time organising this event.  :)

Nice lunch

This morning, we had meeting with our Europe office colleagues and followed by lunch.

Actually I planned to have dinner with them together with my team members.  However, my boss asked me to go for lunch instead.  In the end, I realised only him and me from our office.  No wonder he must get some one to join him.

We went to Yamagawa Japanese restaurant.  We ordered their premium box set and some additional dishes.  The sashimi and sushi were good.  However, my boss over ordered.  In the end, all cannot finish the food.  Quite wasted.  I tried to eat as much as I can.  Ha ha ha.

My colleague went for the dinner.  They booked 9pm slot as it was the earliest left.  By 10.30pm, their main course yet to be served.  Finished dessert only by 11 plus.  Thanks goodness my boss saved me by asking me to go for lunch instead.

The ang moh really likes to drink.  They are going for drinks after the dinner.  OMG!

Busy busy busy

So busy these few weeks.  Non stop....

Rather tired after so many days of late nights.  Feeling sleepy and with the cool weather every morning, really do not wish to wake up.

Winter now in Singapore.  :P

Bad day

Totally Monday blue today.  Did not wish to wake up....  I want to sleep more and more and more....

Had a very bad morning.  Being angry by my boss uh.  Kept asking me to do some irrelevant task.  Wasted time in doing!!!  Angry uh!  Did not want to talk to him.  Less talk = less problem.  Hahaha.

Few of us left office late again.  We targeted that today's late night will not be continued.

Double cakes

Its cakes day today!

My brother bought 2 cakes for me and my sis.  Early celebration since mine falls on Friday and my sister's falls on Saturday.  

Bought 2 cakes from Green Pumpkin.  Singtel vs Starhub again.   Hee hee...

Saw these cute breads.  Reminds us that xmas approaching!
