No more wisdom

Finally its my no wisdom day.  Hahaha.

I removed my last wisdom tooth this morning.  The process was quite smooth and its a specialist that extracted for me.  Mine was a bit difficult and he told me it was big and the roots were all pointing at different directions.  Hence made it a bit tough.  However, it was extracted smoothly.

Could not eat anything and had empty stomach till evening time.  My mum cooked porridge and I just swallowed it.

Took the painkiller that lasts for 24hrs. I was hesitating if to take it and since I may feel pain, I just took one to ensure no pain for the next 1 day.

Doctor gave me 5 days mc that covers till Monday.  However, I will go back to work on Monday.  Else work piling up and will be a nightmare to struggle finishing them again.

Hope its last time

Still as busy and worked late tonight.

Tomorrow going for my wisdom tooth extraction hence wanted to clear as much paperwork as possible.  Managed to clear up to date.

I have no time to be scared of the tooth extraction until night time.  Better pain one time and no more problem in future.  :P

Late night again

Today, thought I can go home earlier but ended up with dispute on one supply that made me working on it in the office.  At the same time clearing paperwork.

Still cannot resolve at this hour.  No sleep tonight liao,  :(

Tired

Real tired.  Morning had a "wake up call" at 6am from my colleague.  Luckily was just to ask for help to get some phone nos.  In the end, could not get back to sleep and that made my whole day tired.

Stayed late alone to clear my backlog.  Better clear them before next pile comes in tomorrow.

Cannot continue like dat.  Must go back earlier liao.

Birthday celebration

This afternoon, we went to Home Team @ Bt Batok.  First time there.  My niece celebrating her birthday at the bowling centre.  She invited her friends and relatives were there.  Invited our family too.  Its her 16th birthday and last year in her secondary schoole hence my sister and brother-in-law helped to organise this celebration for her.  This is my BIL god sister's daughter.  Seeing her growing up... feel so old now...

We stayed there till 6pm and went back to Serangoon.  I am very tired.  Not enough rest.

My sister discharged this am and went to help out.  Birthday girl really wished she cld attend.  Since she can still walk, she went.  Really walking here and there.  She did not want to sit down as sitting down is more uncomfortable for her.

My niece bought belated birthday pressie for me and my younger sis.  She bought me a folder.  So sweet of her.

Raining

Weather was good this morning but it changed in the afternoon.  It started to be gloomy at around 3pm.

Visited my sister in hospital with my parents and younger sis.  Met up with my aunt family there.  My BIL and niece also there in the evening.

After visiting, we took bus to Chinatown.  It was raining very heavily.  We went to buy some CNY wall decors.  Bought 2 big firecrackers for decor and some wall decor.  So fast... few weeks time will be CNY.

Too bad... it hits monthend closing again  :(

Had dinner at Chinatown point and took train home after eating as not much thing to buy/shop.

Cannot be realised

My new year resolution is not to stay late in office.  However, unable to realise my wish as for the first and second work day of the year, I am "camping" in the office.

Somehow, I do not know why I need to stay and why I could not finish my paperwork fast.  Haiz...

My elder sister is admitted to hospital for an ops to remove her gall bladder.  There was a stone inside that caused her to have frequent unbearable pain.  I went to visit her during lunch hour since evening is impossible for me to leave office early.  She looks ok and complained of hunger and pain.  She fasted since yesterday and today could not have any food intake.

We stayed till very late and missed our timing to leave office for dinner.  In the end, we went to Geylang Lor 9 for late dinner.  Initially thought of going to Lavender Food Centre but the taxi driver recommended one restaurant at Geylang that serves nice froglegs porridge.

We enjoyed the food.  Maybe too hungry..... hahaha.

Back to work...

1st work day of the new year.  Sian....  Long long days to go till the next year end.

Busy at work as all of us were rushing to clear our backlogs and also its monthend closing.

Had to stay late to clear.... :(

2014

Its the first day of the year 2014.

I must change my lifestyle.  Do not wish to have work as an excuse to keep myself in office till late hour.  Will have to change this.  Priority!!!

Stayed at home to do some ironing and went to my sister's house in the late afternoon.  Engrossed in playing Pokopang as I have to start from level 1 again due to change of new phone.  I never logged in hence it did not store my data.  Haiz....

My mum fried noodles for dinner.  It was so delicious and we finished all.  Hahahaha.

So fast, tomorrow have to go back to work liao.

Next looking forward holiday is CNY...  Gong Xi Gong Xi Gong Xi Ni!!!

Countdown to 2014

Finally its New Year's eve.

Stayed at home and just went to NEX for a while to have my new sim card replaced.  No time to go yesterday hence waited till today.  Finally got it replaced and its working now.

Stayed and watched the Countdown TV program at my sister's house.  Feeling is strange where seems like I do not have the feeling that its the last day of 2013.

Rush Rush

Rush Rush Rush.  Another day to rush our work.  Tomorrow office closed hence needs to clear as much work as possible tonight.  Some of my colleagues decided to go back to office to do some month end closing but no for me.  I want to sleep longer....

No mood to work due to the coming holiday.  I looking forward to the day off but not looking forward for year 2014.  So fast....  Its another new year liao.

Looked back, many things happened in year 2013.  However, still find myself didn't accomplish anything.  Haiz.....

Hope year 2014 will be a good year for all.  :)

Finally rented out

My aunt called us yesterday telling us that we got our tenant for our Pasir Ris flat.  The tenant is from India and will be staying with his wife and his 2 year old son.  Occasionally his mother will fly over.

Got it rented out at $2250 without aircon but we need to get another queen size bed for him.  Since he is foreigner and posted to Singapore to work, believe we need not worry about him borrowing from loansharks.  Hahaha.

He needs a flat urgently as his company only paid for his accommodation in hotel for 7 days and after viewing few flats, he decided on ours.

We went to sign the paperwork this am.  I need to wake up early at 9am.  This was unusual for me on a Sunday uh.

He moved in immediately and hope his family/him will take good care of our flat.

Finally my parents have income liao.  Hee hee...

I decided to buy new phone today.  After consideration, decided to buy Samsung Galaxy Note 3.  The staff told me due to system problem, my new sim card will only be activated in 4hrs.  Without giving me time to divert my calls, the old sim card was deactivated.  I was without working phone for 6 hours and found it strange that why my new sim card still cannot work.

Called Singtel and after some checks, it looks like the problem lies with the new sim card.  I have to go to Hello shop tomorrow to get a replacement.  Haiz.... have to take extra time to settle this.

I requested to have my old sim card reactivated to allow me to use the phone before replacing the faulty sim card.  So unlucky uh!!!

Disappointed

This morning, I was looking forward to the dinner tonight at Melt The World Cafe with my parents, sis and bro.  However, it turned out bad.

Went there few times and very satisfied with the seafood, especially lobsters.  Hence, decided to bring my parents there and telling them how good the lobsters are and just need to focus on this dish.

However....  we reached there with a lot of people already there before 6.30pm.  We had a table near the noodles counter.  Zoomed to have lobsters and due to long queue, I just took 2 pieces, thinking I could take again later.

Finished the 2 pieces and since it was still having queue at the seafood counter, I went to have salads and sashimi.  Finished and decided to queue for the lobsters but found no stock there.

Waited and waited for almost an hour still no replenishment.  My sis and I found it strange because usually they were replenished pretty fast.  No choice but to take other food first.

2 hours passed and still see no sign of the lobsters.  The empty bowl was filled with lobsters craws only.  I told my sister if no lobsters, paying $88+++ was very expensive.

One of the staff came and while clearing our plates, asked if everything was ok.  Both my sis and I said "no".  He was shocked and asked what happened.  We asked him why today the lobsters no replenishment after serving out just one or two times.  He apologised and said he will feedback to the chef and advised us.

After a while, he came and served us a plate of lobsters (9 pcs).  He explained to us that it was due to lobsters stock running very low due to past few days with overwhelmed guests.  I personally think this should not be the excuse as the cafe should cater sufficient food for the crowd.  Anyway, the guy was quite good hence we did not tell him that.  Just accepted the lobsters and finished them.

Next time, do not go during festive season....

Almost cannot cope

Today is another bz day.  Forever cannot finish my paperwork.  Piled and piled....

Anyway, had tried my best to clear as much as possible.

We had lunch at Mos Burger at Millennium Walk.  Nice lunch and a time for me to forget about work and just eat.

Quite a good achievements of 5 deals done this evening.  Busy but at least managed to get some deals.

Had dinner with colleagues at Thai restaurant near our office.  Wasted a bit of time for eating and ended up staying late in office to clear some paperwork.

Poor us!!!

No mood to work

Back to office today.  Do not have mood to work uh.  How I wish today no need to work.  Haiz...

Busy the whole day with no time to "breathe".  So many paperwork and very confusing.  I made several mistakes even when I did double check.  Really CMI.

Stayed late to clear my work.  No time to relax at all.

Merry Christmas

Ho Ho Ho...  Merry Christmas!

Today I really spent the whole day out.  Went to my elder sister's house as my niece celebrating her birthday today.  Actual day is tomorrow.

Sneaked out to Westgate shopping mall to have a look.  I believe I will not travel all the way to west side just to visit Westgate.  Since it was still early, I went with my god niece and younger sis.  After orientation, conclusion is I still prefer the layout for JEM.  Only thing that attracted me in Westgate is the various choices of Japanese restaurants and also the Isetan supermarket.  There are nice stalls of Japanese food.

Played games with those children that led by my aunt.  We had fun and I really blurred.  I could not remember the card that I was holding in which it represented that I was the werewolf.  When all closed eyes and my aunt asking who was the 2nd werewolf, it took me so long to raise up my hand that it was me.  

2nd time blurred was when I was the witch.  No one should talk and all to close eyes but when my aunt asked "witch, please do some action to identify yourself", I asked "can I open my eyes!".  All the children, my aunt and sisters all laughing out loud.  I really CMI uh!  Hahaha

Overall, had a fun Christmas day.

Opened my pressies early this morning.  Really got an exercise kit from 小珠. Will use it as often as possible.  I think she knew I am lazy to go out to exercise.  Hee hee...

I also received another gift from her.  It is a neck and shoulder massager.  Maybe she heard me saying my neck stiff before.  Both are useful gifts.  Thank You!

  

Christmas eve

Today is Christmas eve.

Although no need to go to work today but I still have to work from home/mobile.  Still had enquiries received and worked on them.  No chance to fix any today.  :(

Went to NEX to buy gifts for my god nieces.  Managed to buy 2 bags for them.  Also bought a logcake home to celebrate Christmas eve.

As usual, spent my day at home most of the time.  This is how I spend my Christmas eve after year.  :P

Rush

A very rushing day for me...

Tomorrow we need not go to work hence I have to clear my work as much as possible in order to have a good holiday break.  If I cannot finish, I need to be back in office tomorrow to at least clear some backlog.

Many enquiries received due to the holiday period.  I received about 13 enq today and managed to close 5 of them.  Quite a good achievement.

We went for dinner and back in office to continue to work till very late.  However, I feel better now as I cleared those pending paperwork.  Luckily 小珠 helped me up.  :)

Brought back some presents today.  2nd one from 小珠 and I guessing is her gift cld be relating to exercising.  She still keep me in suspense.  Will know when I open the pressies on 25th 0001hr.  Hahaha.

Last minute shopping

My niece not coming today hence I decided to proceed with my plan to do my last minute shopping.  Decided to buy some gifts for our Finance colleagues.  They helping me a lot and its a small gift to share the joy of the festive.

Went out at around 2.30pm with my sister to Orchard and we back home at 5.30pm.  Fast right???  Hahaha...

We decided on what to buy and zoomed in.  Also bought some chocolates for the kids on 25th which my niece throwing her birthday party.

Haiz... I still have no chance to see the Christmas lighting along Orchard Road.  Really no time....

Party

This afternoon, I went to my brother-in-law niece's birthday party.  I made a mistake uh.  I thought she is 3 years old and bought pressie for her that meant for 3 years old and above.  However, I think shd be ok if there is adult's guidance for her to play with.

Her sister is just 5 mths old and I carried her for a while.  So adorable and pretty.  Both of them are pretty princesses.  Everyone wants to carry the little toddler.  :)

Tomorrow need to go out for shopping.  I still have a few more pressies to buy.
