Fruitful day

Today, I asked my sister to rent a car so that we could move some of our stuffs to new house. I woke up rather early at 9am and started to do packing as we need to leave house by 12noon. Slot booked was 12 to 4pm. Our intention was just to transport the items over and I will unpack tomorrow myself.

I was so surprised that I had so many things to move over. 2 big bags of bags. Ai yoh. We went for lunch at MyVillage at Serangoon Garden. Chose Japanese ramen restaurant and glad that the food was so "Japanese style" and it tasted good too. The restaurant name is Daikokuya Ramen restaurant.

After lunch, we bought some ice-creams, drinks and instant noodles for storage at home since there was car today to transport over. Reached house at around 3.30pm and quickly went back to Pasir Ris to return the car.

Went shopping at Robinson Raffles City. Did not buy much. Moved to Tampines for dinner then went home.

Found the reason

Finally I managed to find what's the problem I encountered for the transferring of my phone contacts to google contacts. Shall do it slowly to ensure all is correct. Do it nicely once and future will be easy.

This evening, we had sushi dinner again in the theater. I kind of missed the sushi from Giant supermarket and since there was not much time left as we need to get the router for my house, we decided to buy 2 packets and sneaked into the theater to eat.

With my colleague's recommendation, I bought the router. Luckily I got the membership no from my brother-in-law as it saved me $30.

We watched "Wrath of the Titans" tonight. Totally unaware that this was the continuation of the "Clash of the Titans" that aired in 2010. No wonder I found the casts so familiar. I was so shocked to find "Lord Voldemort" in the movie. Guess who was that...

Answer is"Hades".

Puzzled

Today, I continued to figure out how to read contacts from my phone sim card. I think really can't and need to import contacts to my google account. I am too traditional that wants to keep everything in my sim card.

New problem arised! I could not read the imported contacts in my google contacts. Real strange.

Hence... the search continues.

Too high tech

Back home late and started to play with my new phone. I have problem reading contacts from Sim card and still struggling. Also trying to figure out how the tethering works. The phone is too high tech that I can't handle. Kept asking 小珠 for help. :P

Shall continue to figure out. It makes me with no time to watch j-dramas.

Another late day

Today still a busy day for me. However, managed to eat snake for a while after lunch hour. We went to Ikea as my colleague wanted to buy something and I could buy cups too.

Bought 2 cups and few storage boxes. Kept them in office as I could bring to my house if my colleague drove to take a look at my house. Collected my handbag after washing it (cost $60). Kept in office too, waiting for longbang.

Late Late

Went for morning coffee at Suntec City with one of my customer. Reached office at 11.30am. After lunch, I visited one new customer and I left with not much time to do my own work today.

Had stayed in office till 9.15pm and thought we could go home. However, just left office a while, my boss called and asked 小珠 to go back to office as he needed her to run some data for our CEO. We turned back and luckily we were still nearby and not on the bus.

Done the data run and left office only at around 11.15pm. By the time I reached home, it was near to 1am and I was so so so tired.

1st move

This afternoon, my dad helped to move some of my things to new house. All the pots, utensils etc... Mainly for the kitchen. I took few hours doing the unpacking. So many uh...

My dad helped me to hang up the flip clock. Like it so much...

I think I stood too long yesterday and today, I was so tired. My sister also had no strength to do more unpacking etc. Took a break today.

It was so windy today as it rained. If everyday is like that, so good uh. No need to switch on fan or aircon. :)

Had dinner at Siam Kitchen. The food was quite cheap and it tasted good.

Cleaning

Reached my house at 11am and was on time for the first item to be delivered today. The mattress came first, followed by bed frame, then TV and lastly washing machine + refrigerator.

The uncle for putting up blinds came at around 3pm. Hence everything was completed quite early and we started to sweep and mop the floor. It was so dusty after so many deliveries. My living room now filled up with big boxes. These boxes have to be kept for 7 days to ensure no defects on the items I bought.

Tidied up kitchenware and after sweeping + mopping floor, we started to wash the 2 toilets. My sister actually did the washing and I only did the cleaning of the walls and toilet accessories. After all was done, we were so happy that we felt more comfortable walking on the floor tiles. So clean.

Bathed and left house for dinner at NEX. Our dinner was so late. By time we reached NEX, it was already 8.45pm. Had set dinner at MOF and went to Fairprice Xtra to buy some items which I am missing. Took cab and reached home at 11.20pm. So late liao. Very tired now...

Tomorrow will be another round to bring some stuff there. My dad will help to drive the items over.

Movie time again

After one week's break, we went for our usual Friday movie this evening. Watched "The Hunger Games" at 8.45pm.

We tried to leave office early but was still held up a bit and reached VivoCity just about 1 hour before the show started. Had dinner at LJS and proceeded to Challenger as I need to buy the HDMI cable to link to my new TV. Tried it at home and it was so good. Next time can watch PPS through TV screen more shiok.

The movie was good and the ending theme song was very nice. Shall try to find this song online. :)

Tomorrow needs to reach new house before 11am. A lot of items to be delivered tomorrow. Will be a very busy day.

Thursday

Finally it's Thursday! One more day to go. Yippy!

Quite a busy day and lack of time to handle all enquires at same time. Had to delay replying to some customers. However, glad to close some deals today.

Eyes sleepy. Hope I can finish some J-dramas. Most of them are having last episode this week. Another season going to start...

Tired

Today I am still tired and no mood to work lei. However, no excuse for me but to continue to work.

Left office quite late but still earlier than usual. Back home to watch J-dramas. :P

Today is Takeru's birthday. Happy birthday to my no 3 idol!

Early

This afternoon, we went to Alexandra Village to have our lunch. It was so hot that I perspired a lot. Wrong day to go there?

Bought some bread from Love Confectionery shop. Very nice and cheap breads.

This evening, I finished my work and decided to leave office early. I yet to settle the full payment for the items I bought from Courts. Delivery date is this coming Saturday. Left office at about 7.30pm and got a ride from my boss to Kembangan station. This cut down a lot of my travelling time to Tampines Station. I also managed to get to trim my fringe.

Very tired today. Will sleep earlier tonight.

Continue to buy and buy

This morning, my dad sent us to my new house as we need to do the 旺屋仪式. After today, I can slowly bring things to the new house and prepare to move in any time. My target is end of this month.

The place is still dusty and need another few rounds of cleaning. Hope after that, I won't feel the sandy sandy touch on the floor.

We completed at around 2pm and left for Simei. Went to Daiso again to buy some stuffs. My mum followed me and helped me to buy those kitchen and toilet necessities.

Still have many things to buy. Ai yoh....

Aching

Today is our Malay neighbour's daughter wedding. They invited us and we went to sit sit a while for courtesy. This is the first time I attended a malay wedding. We ate a bit and left as we need to go to my new house to do some cleaning. Need my dad's ladder else we are too short to clean the top cabinets.



I reached Serangoon house at around 2pm with my parents. We started to do the cleaning and the weather was hot plus I hardly do housework, it was really a very difficult task for me to mop and sweep the floor. Worst thing was I was not using normal usual mop and broom, I bought the 3M products and kind of weird to handle the 2 monsters.

In the end, I decided to use a cloth to mop. But after mopping one room, I gave up. My dad's invention came : use the mop with a cloth. Haha... faster that way.

Did all the internal cleaning of the wardrobes and cabinets. Window and window grilles cleaning. After they were done, we were so tired. I mopped the floor the 2nd time as it still not so clean. My mum said she will buy one broom for me. Anyway, I still need it to sweep the floor outside the unit. Tradition still good.

My dad was tired. Took the cloth that we cover the window and slept with a roll of hand towel as the pillow. On the aircon for him to rest. My mum and me just sat at the living room floor waiting for him to wake up. Hee hee...

There goes my whole day. Now, my legs and hands are so aching... Back also. Tomorrow I am on leave as need to do some stuff at the new house with my parents. Will be busy for the coming weeks as I will start to move my stuffs bit by bit on every weekend.

Brand new home

Went to my house this afternoon and was glad the cabinets and wardrobes were nicely done. The TV console and shoe cabinets look matching to the flooring.

We did not do much cleaning as there was no ladder and we could only clean the low cabinets. Tomrrow, I will go with my parents to do the first round of floor cleaning. It was so dusty....

Left at around 5pm and reached Orchard Centrepoint at around 6pm. We shopped and I bought one knife and a set of knife covers. Had dinner at Causeway Bay Hong Kong Cafe and walked to Plaza Singapura as I need to get some bowls. We reached at 9.30pm and was lucky enough to have some time to get what we need to buy.

Reached home at 10.30pm. Quite tired liao.

Back home safely

Woke up at 4.30am and prepared for a day trip to KL. Luckily my alarm clock managed to wake me up. Supposed to leave house at around 5.15am as meeting my colleague at around 5.30am. Got a sms from her at 5.20am that she just woke up and would be at airport around 6am. Luckily we already check in online. Otherwise, will be late for our check in.

Met up with her at 6.10am and we cleared custom and had a quick breakfast at the SIA lounge. My colleague is PPS member hence could bring me in. Would be nice if we could eat at the business class lounge but due to lack of time, we just went to the PPS Gold lounge. She said did not why her alarm clock didn't work and she woke up only at 5.15am. Luckily she found something not right and looked at her clock when she suddenly woke up after sleeping for a few hours.

We reached KL and went straight to the customer's office. Had a cup of tea and a piece of prata before the session as we reached there rather early. The presentation took about 2 1/2 hours and we had a separate session for a review on our performance.

Today, we did not book limo from the driver we usually took as his charge is beginning to be more expensive. To prevent being questioned during our expense claim, we took an airport limo to town. But it was a pain to flag a taxi after the meeting. We waited at the taxi stand and there was no taxi until after about 20mins. Its Friday and most drivers went for prayer. Aiyoh!!!

We took a taxi to KL Central and took the KL Express to the airport. Quite comfortable. Next time I can take the KL express and change to taxi. Cheaper.....

My colleague's fight was earlier than mine. I was working while waiting for my flight at 1850hr. To prevent myself from missing flight as I was busy working on my Blackberry, I sat outside the gate and wait for the time to board plane.

There was flight delay and I only got to board at around 1915hr. It also took longer to land in Singapore. By right, plane should land at Terminal 2 but this time, it landed at Terminal 3. Perhaps there was berth congestion at Terminal 2. Well, good for me as I could take a bus home. I hate being given that kind of black face when taking cab to Pasir Ris from airport. Since it was just 8.45pm, would just take a bus.

Reached home and after having dinner, I started to clear my emails. Very tired day. More tired than normal working days.

Busy day

Rather a busy day for me as I need to complete my work as much as possible today. Had to leave office earlier as need to sleep earlier due to my early flight tomorrow to KL. Have to wake up at 4.30am as need to be at the airport around 5.30am. Flight is at 7.10am.

Managed to leave office at around 8plus and I could not make myself to sleep at 11 plus. Have to at lease watch one epi of J-drama. Hahaha.

Ok lah. Hope tomorrow morning I can wake up timely. :)

Tired day

Woke up and felt quite tired. Maybe too little rest as this few days, had been leaving office late.

Had lunch at O'Coffee Club with 3 of my colleagues. I need to use up the 3 vouchers which due date is 16 Mar. Went to HarbourFront and after lunch, we went to Best Denki to check out the model and price for TV. I saw one $899 Samsung 40" LED TV and I should be getting this one. Shall compare price at Courts and if it has no difference, I will buy from Courts so that it can be delivered together with my fridge/washing machine/bed frame/mattress.

Believe today I can only watch one epi of J-drama. Tomorrow has to sleep earlier as flight to KL for my business trip is 7am and needs to be at airport by 6am the latest.

Stinking

Left office quite late again today and took train home. I was so unlucky as to get to sit near a very inconsiderate man. Below picture will explain why.



He took off his shoes and just happily sat there and enjoyed his ride by sleeping. The "fragrance" was so strong that I could not breathe and felt like vomiting. As all the other seats were taken and I was too tired to stand all the way to Pasir Ris, I tolerated with the smell and just hoped that he would alight soon. Too bad... his destination was Pasir Ris too.

When I was walking down the stairs from the platform to the 1st floor, I smelt the familiar "fragrance". I really doubt if it came from me but no uh... I smelt my blouse and it was not from me. Turned to my right and saw the man. OMG! The smell followed him even after he wore his shoes. That was how "fragrance" it was!

Tired Monday

Last night it was raining and the weather was so cooling until I did feel like waking up this morning.

Felt tired and how I wish no work today. My wishful thinking....

Had some problem at work and hope it will be solved smoothly. Otherwise, I will be in big big big trouble.
