Nice movie

Peaceful Friday.  Had a very good closing since I had done most of the paperwork last night. Our Finance dept colleagues can do the estimated closing figure by noon time.  Happy that no one chasing me this time round.  Will do the final close on next Tue.

This evening, we watched "Escape Plan".  It was a very good movie. Very thrilling and the storyline is good.  Kind of unexpected ending.  Nice combination of the "Rambo" and "Terminator".  Funny parts inserted that made audience laughed.  Very satisfied with this movie tonight.  Worth to watch.

Busy with closing preparation

Its Thursday liao.  One more day to go....

Basically nothing special to mention today.  Had stayed late to do preparation of month end closing.  Managed to clear quite a no of orders and this will enable our finance dept colleague to process the invoicing fast.  Main purpose is not to receive chaser tomorrow.  :P

So tired.  Want to ZZZ.  No time to watch J dramas liao.  Backlog.....

Again tired

Feeling tired again.  Forever have this problem.

Office internet very slow like snail.  Took longer than usual time to accomplish a task.  I almost fell asleep while waiting for the system to response.  Haiz...

Had dinner at Golden Mile Market before going home.  I ate the fishball noodles again.

So fast so late liao.  No time to watch more epi of Jdramas.  So many new ones released uh.

Super tiring

Woke up and had our breakfast at 9am.  Our supplier picking us up at 11am.  He was late and since it was already 11.30am, we decided to head to the restaurant and had the meeting there before lunch.  His colleagues joining us there.

The discussion continued after our lunch and we had coffee before his chauffeur sent us to airport.  By the time we reached airport, it was just enough time for us to grab a burger as dinner at Burger King and we had to board the plane back.

Overall made us so tired.  This is another tiring trip.  We did not even have time to buy any goodies back for office colleagues.  :(

Tiring

This morning woke up early at 6.20am to prepare for my trip to KL.  Took a cab to my colleague's house at Pandan Garden.  I reached quite early hence waited for the rest to arrive.  I also had a chance to see his daughter.  She is so adorable.

We started our journey only at 11am.  Had to detour to change ringgets but all money changers all not open so early.  No choice but to go in to Malaysia then find money changer.

Had breakfast after clearing immigration and started our long drive.  My colleague drove for 4 hrs non stop and just sitting in the car made me very sleepy and tired.  However, I did not sleep as I kept myself awake to chit chat with my collleague who was driving.

Finally reached hotel at around 2.30pm and we managed to check in.  Left our stuff in the room and we went to have our lunch.  My colleague Ah Sheng wanted to eat KFC as he did not want heavy meal so that he will not be sleepy while driving back to Singapore.  Poor him.  He drove 4 hrs to send us there, stayed less than an hour for lunch and drove another 4 hours back to Singapore.  He could not stay overnite.

We manage to book a flight back on Tues 8.30pm.  Phew....

As we need to read and handle some work, we stayed in a cafe for few hours before having our dinner.  Had a quick one at a Thai restaurant at Sunway mall.  Our hotel was linked to the mall hence very safe for us to walk within the compound.  We dare not go out and in fact, no time too.

Back to room at around 10pm and after bathing, I was rather tired.

This trip is quite tiring due to the drive and luckily we have some time to rest before our meeting tomorrow.

Last minute

This afternoon, Ah Cheng called and asked if I can accompany her to KL tomorrow and stay overnite.  She supposed to go there with my colleague.  He was arrow by boss to driver her there.  Strange lei.  Shd just fly there mah.  I thought he needs to be involved in the meeting with supplier but no lei.  Big ?

However, the supplier could not make it tomorrow.  Hence, decided that he will drive us there and back on his own and we will stay overnite.  Will ask our colleague to book return flight for us on Tue.  Hope can get seats.

We booked a room at Sunway Pyramid Tower hotel as it is near to the meeting venue.  Then we will take cab to airport direct from supplier's office.

Sound like another rush trip for me.  Again last minute decision.  This time round is better with one day notice.  Earlier Penang trip was to fly off on the day itself.  With just few hours notice.

Hardworking

I think today I am very hardworking.  I used magic clean duster to clean all walls of my living room, 2 bedrooms and kitchen.  Have to do this to prevent dust sticking on the wall.  Will do so quarterly.

Cleaned window grilles, fan, kitchen top etc as usual.  In total, I spent about 3 hours.  Not going out today hence decided to do all by today.  I left toilet walls yet to clean.  Postponed to next or the following week bah.

Went to Nex for dinner.  Too crowded and we ended up eating at KFC.  LoL.

Fatter and Fatter

OMG, I have been eating and eating.  Is becoming fatter and fatter.

We had a very filling lunch at Purvis Street's Yhing Thai Palace restaurant.  It was our team lunch to welcome one colleague from our Germany office who will stay with us for 2 months and also to welcome our visitor from Hong Kong office.

I liked the mango and pomelo salad.  Kept eating non stop.  :P

The food were all very good except the Tom Yam soup which was a bit disappointing.  Not very nice.  It was rather costly and I think I can only eat there during business lunch.

To "offset" the in take food, I walked back to office after the meal.  In fact, I walked to the restaurant too.  It was not very far but it was the sun that made us felt so uncomfortable after walking there.  However, the weather was rather good when walking back.

Tulip decided to join us for our Tokyo trip next year Feb.  She bought the same flights tickets and we can go and eat shop play there again.

Watched movie "Oshin" at 9.20pm.  The little girl is so cute and I like her voice.  Very nice movie and we were so engrossed that when it ended, we felt like continuing to watch.  Do not know if there will be part 2.

Relax to busy

This morning, I was quite relax and at one point of time, did not have anything to do.  Hence, just dragged and once lunch hour reached, happy to get out of office to meet up with our ex-colleagues at Marina Square.  We had lunch at Swensen.  I ordered the set lunch and we were all very full.  My colleague chose ice-cream and we shared.  However, cannot finish it.

Evening is 180 deg change.  I was so busy with enq.  Enq still sending in at 8.30pm and I had to work on them and could not leave office until 9.10pm.  I had dinner with Ah Cheng and Ah Huang at Golden Mile Market.  We ate the fishball noodles that only open at night.  It was so nice.

Glad that I am Miss Four today.  :)

Nothing

Nothing special today.  Its one usual Wednesday.  

Did not close any deal today.  So sad... Missed one opportunity...

Forgot to post the dental clinic I went yesterday.  No other patients hence I took 2 quick snaps.  I like the atmosphere.  Sitting there and listening to music really can make patients relax...

Foodie day again

I went for my dental appointment this morning and the doctor said I need to extract my one and only left wisdom tooth in order to prevent gum infection.  The position of my tooth is not really suitable for normal extraction and suggested to try normal first and if really cannot, then do surgery.

I booked extraction date on 21 Nov.  I am taking antibiotics now to let the pain goes off.  Need another sum of money to waste liao.

Had a very heavy lunch today at Sheraton Hotel's Li Bai's restaurant.  The food was real good.  I ate them slowly as I still cannot open my mouth big.  However, it improves a little after the doctor did some cleaning for me.  Believe the medication helps a bit to numb the pain.

Worked late and my colleague asked if we wanted to go out for dinner before heading home.  All 3 of us agreed and so 4 of us went to have fish head steamboat near our office.  There are 2 restaurant and we chose one of them.  Will try the other one next time.

The soup was really good and drank a few bowls.  Refillable soup.  I will bring my parents and sis there in near future.  :)

Monday blue again

Woke up so unwilling this morning.  Why so fast its Monday again?

How I wish I can take my time to get out of bed.  Sit on sofa and relax....

Usual busy day but I managed to leave office before 9pm.  Decided to take bus home.  Overall the time taken was similar to taking train + bus home.  However, by taking bus, it is a direct mode of transport.  Perhaps next time I shd change to taking bus home.

Tried a new place for lunch this afternoon.  I ordered the claypot set lunch.  It came with a drink and fruits.  Not bad lah.

Back home and cannot resist ice-cream.  Bought some Haagen Dazz ice-cream yesterday.  Look at my freezer...

Intention was to buy 3 lemon for my mum at FairPrice.  In the enq, I spent so much on ice-cream... Just to have enough amount to exchange a cold bag to keep the ice-cream.  Hahaha.

I have made dental appointment tomorrow.  Better consult dentist on my condition.  If it's really caused by my wisdom tooth, then no choice but to extract lor....  :(

Still in pain

Woke up this morning and sad that the pain is still there.  I could not open my mouth too big and has problem eating.  I have to slurp in noodles, used fork to push the food on spoon into my mouth.  Cannot eat too thick and hard food.  Haiz....

Will monitor and I think I need to see dentist when the pain gets better.  May need to remove my wisdom tooth.  My sister said that this wisdom tooth will not give me wisdom.  Only removed then will have wisdom.  Hahaha...

Went to NEX with my niece and sister.  My niece wanted to go to the arcade.  They challenged the basketball game which I surrendered after playing 2 games.  No strength....

My brother bought a cake for my elder sister.  Her birthday in few days time and we celebrated for her.  Maybe next Sunday then go out for dinner.  In fact hor... I completely forget.  :P

Good dinner

Stayed at home till evening time.  Went to EatPlayLove cafe for dinner.  I introduced this place to my sister and parents.  They liked the food there.  We ordered salad, mini winglets and tom yum soup to share.  I ordered the chicken chop again.  My parents followed me.  My sister not too hungry hence she ordered mini chicken burgers.  I tried their lychee ice tea.  Overall, very satisfied uh.  

Initially we intend to take train home but my mum said she wanted to take bus as there will be seats.  I think we just missed one bus and we waited for 15mins for the next.  There were just nice 2 seats for my parents and for my sister, she managed to get a seat at the next stop.  I stood for quite a while before getting a seat.

We took bus 100 which will terminate at Serangoon Interchange.  Just nice can change bus 109 home.

I keep forgetting to try taking bus 70M home at night.  Maybe it is faster for me since I need not change bus after taking train to Serangoon Interchange.  Will try to remember...

Ramen

This afternoon, we felt like pampering ourselves when Ah Fen asked if we wanted to have lunch at Marina Square.  It is just one mrt station away.  Its Friday and we decided to pamper ourselves with good lunch.

We had a few choices and finally decided to try the ramen that my colleague introduced us at Parco Millenium.

Name of restaurant is Ramen King.  Not too crowded as it was already 1.30pm and ordered our choice.  I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen.  The restaurant served free flow of bean sprouts.  Hmmm.  nice ramen.

Back in office at almost 3pm and continued to work hard.  Not too bad that I closed 6 deals today.  Actually was 5 deals + 1 closed yesterday.

Left office in a hurry as running late for our movie.  We need to travel to Bishan for 9pm show.  We left office at about 8.15pm.  Luckily the train ride was quite fast and we reached at about 8.50pm.  Bought Mcdonald nuggets for dinner to be ate in the theater.  My wisdom tooth giving me problem and I could not open my mouth too big as it is painful.  Buns too thick for me to bite liao.

Watched "About Time".  It was a very nice story.  I was interrupted with answering to new enq by email and sms.  Though missed out a bit but still able to understand the story of the movie.

At first, did not think that the actor is handsome but after a while, he looks quite good looking lei.  Hahaha.

I reached home quite early as compared to watching movie at VivoCity.  However, we still prefer the theaters there as they are with bigger screens and the elevation are better.

Painful

This morning, woke up and realised that my left cheek feeling some pain.  So worried it is my wisdom tooth giving problem.

I could not open my mouth wide and its rather painful.  Hope it is temporary pain only...  :(

Yawn also pain uh....

Back to work

So fast that holiday just passed liao.  Back to work today.

Dragged myself to wake up and go to work.  I think the only motivation now for me to go office earlier is the insinc points.  Hahaha.

2 more days to go and its Friday.  We had booked movie tickets for this Friday.  Venue changed to Bishan as the timings for GV VivoCity are no good.

Finally I ate it

This afternoon, we travelled to Dakota station by train to have lunch there.  We ordered the wantan mee and a plate of char kuah tiao for sharing.  The wantan mee not bad but I think there is another store that is also nice which is just few stalls away.  Also long queue.  Next time will try that.  There are so many choices there that we had trouble deciding what to eat.  My parents quite like the place and since now they know how to go there, I think they will go there by themselves during weekdays.

We took bus no 10 to Vivocity.  Rather fast journey as most of the travelling time was at expressway.  Shopped for a while and had tea break at St Marc's coffee house.  Finally I ate the famous Little Fuji.  The bread was nice.  The Gion (green tea ice-cream with sundae and Azuki) was nice too.  Gion has taste of Kyoto.  Brought back memories of my trip to Kyoto.

Holiday eve

Yippy!  Its holiday eve today.  No mood to work today.

We went to Hong Lim Hawker Centre for lunch today.  I ate the famous Curry Mee.  Really good.  No regrets.  However, too fattening.  Cannot eat to regularly.

We also bought the dumplings and tau sau pia.  Really one big bag home.

Tomorrow can rest again.  Hope no work interruption and let me enjoy the whole day.  :P

Sunday

My niece not coming again.  Quiet afternoon.

I asked my sis to accompany me to NEX to buy detergent.  At the same time, we bought some white inner wear for my brother.  A few pieces had colour run and white became grey which I told him have to throw away.  We invested a lot on this clothing uh.

Bought myself one T-shirt from Esprit and 2 pieces of floor mats.  Its micro fibre and my sister said they were good.  It really dries up very fast when stepped on it wet legs.

So fast and its Sunday night.  Looking forward to tomorrow night as Tues is a holiday.  Just pray hard not many enq coming in.
