Hazy

The haze is getting bad.  At evening, it was so hazy that when I walked out of the office building, the smell is terrible.  Hope tomorrow will have change of wind direct that blow the haze back to Indonesia.

Still no news of the missing MH370.  Really puzzled case.  Could not locate the aircraft after 4 days.  Hijacked?  If it is, at least there is still pin of hope for survivals.  Pray hard for the passengers and crews to be alright.  Although the chance getting slimmer and slimmer as days passed.  Sad.

Monday blue

Monday again....  No mood to work.

Dragged myself to work and realised I am not the only one.  My colleagues all no mood to work and tired.

Tried to complete my work as fast as possible.  Managed to close one deal and left office at about 8.15pm.

Hope to continue going back by around 8pm.

Still no news

Still no news of the missing MH370.  Hope diminishing for every hour now as it has been more than 30 hours.  Searches could not locate the plane yet.  I really hope the plane is well some where.  Hate to hear tragedy.

My niece came finally.  She slimmed down.  Maybe her cycling caused her to slim down.  Good exercising.  She still remembered her gift from Japan.  :)

Very tired today and just watched a few epi of j dramas.  So reluctant to go back to work tomorrow.

Bad news

Morning, woke up and looked at my mobile phone.  Saw some exchanges about a Malaysia airline.  Watched online news and realised there was a missing MH plane after it departed KL heading to Beijing.  Pray hard that the plane landed some where remote where no signal that passengers or crew cannot contact the authorities that they are safe.  Will watch the news closely and hope to hear some good news.

Mixed feeling...  Watched Non-stop yesterday night and just few hours later, heard about this news.

I woke up super late today and did not accompany my dad to do his blood test at TTH.  My sister accompanied him there and they went home to meet me to go to Ikea.

Took bus to Tampines to transfer to free shuttle bus to Ikea Tampinese.  Shopped halfway and I went to have chicken wings since I did not have any lunch yet.  My parents like the chicken wings too.  Ordered 6 pieces for 4 of us and topped up another 4.  Hahaha.

Night came and still no news of MH370.  Really worrying...

Movie time again

This evening, we watched movie "Non-stop".  It had been few weeks that we stopped our movie session.  Glad to have movie time again.

Miss Huang joined us tonight and four of us took bus to VivoCity.  Just had enough time for our dinner at the Food Republic.

The movie was with good plot and we could not guess the correct suspect.  Until it was revealed then we realised that we missed the hints.  Nice show and worth to watch.  Will recommend to our other colleagues who also want to have the reviews before watching.

Nice Friday nite.  :)

Monday blue

Work up reluctantly.  Went to work reluctantly.  Reached office only at around 10.20am.

Cleared my work and left office early today.  Managed to leave by 8pm.  So nice to reach home early.  Must make more effort to realise that go home early policy!

Sunday

Usual Sunday.

My niece did not come so I spent more time doing housework and went to my sister's place only at around 3pm.  Watched J dramas as I have so many outstanding.  Would like to watch as many as possible.

Hot hot day.  Weather so hot until all the trees and grasses turn brown.  How long do we need to wait for the rain???

Rain rain, pls come again!

Eat and shop

Woke up at 11am and started to do some housework before going out with my parents and sister.

I suggested to have Tim Sum (again?? ) at Tim Ho Wan.  We went to the Toa Payoh branch and surprised that we need not queue when we reached there at about 3pm.

We took train to Orchard and started our shopping at Centrepoint Robinson.  My father bought a pair of Ecco shoe.  He kept comparing prices until we told him no need to see the label.  Just choose the pair that is comfortable.

Walked to Takashimaya and shopped a while there.  Then met up with my brother and we had dinner at Sushi Tei.

Food was good and the sashimi was very good.  Fresh uh!

I did not buy anything.  Sad leh  !!!

Super late

Today is last working day of the month.  I tried to clear my work as fast as possible and left night time doing month end closing.

I made a mistake and calculated wrong pricing.  Luckily the mistake was spotted today.  Otherwise I will really faint if I find out only on Monday.

We stayed late and went for late dinner or shd I say supper instead, at Geylang.  We had Tim Sum and I really love the chicken wings from Wen Tou Se.

Finally, its TGIF!  I can sleep longer tomorrow.

Normal working day

Its another normal working day today.  Still busy clearing paperwork and stayed overtime again.

Nothing special happened today and still trying to work towards my early go home time policy!

Back to work

Back to office today.  Dragged myself there.  How I wish I can have longer break.

Busy clearing backlogs as need to do as much as possible so that I do not need to rush during month end which is on this Friday.

Stayed late to clear my work.  Hope this do not need to continue.  My New Year resolution is to go home early!!!

Back home

Today will be resting at home.  To do washing of my clothes and also to clear emails.

Quite tired and other than clearing emails, I watched a few epi of J dramas.

So sad....  tomorrow back to work liao.

Day 7 - Flying home

The day has come.  Time to say Sayonara to Japan.

Took morning flight back to Singapore.  We transit at Taipei.  We were so tired that we kept sleeping on the plane.  Woke up just to eat.  I wanted to watch J drama but after one epi, I was sleepy again.

My brother and parents came to fetch me.  Luckily they came.  Otherwise I would have problem carrying my luggage.  Mine was overweight uh.  Bought 30kg and my big luggage + small one total up to be 31kg.  Borrowed 1kg from Tulip.  Heehee...

So sad to be back home.  How I wish we could spend more days there.

Nevermind.... we plan another trip.  :P

Day 6 - Final day to shop

Today is the last day we can shopped.  Tomorrow going back to Singapore.

We went to Trick Art Museum at Takaosan.  Spent a few hours there taking funny pictures.  It was not as big as the Jeju one I went with my parents last year.  However, it was fun there.

By the time we were back in Shinjuku, it was rather late.  We quickly zoomed to shop around.  I bought another Agnes B bag which is their signature design.  Good for weekend carrying.

We visited our favourite ramen stall before heading back to hotel to pack.

Fainting to see how much stuff I bought.  Scared my check in luggage will be overweight again.  Crossed my fingers!

Day 5 - Shopping and eat

This morning, we went to Tsukiji market and it was so crowded.  Perhaps it was due to weekend.

I had 3 fresh oysters and 2 grilled scallops with sea urchin.  They were so fresh and delicious.  I can eat more uh.  Hahaha...

Shopped and eat along the way.  Had our favourite egg roll.  We bought quite a lot of things back.  Glad to find nice dried scallops for my mum.

Wanted to go to Asakusa temple but due to my error of thinking it should be taking JR train i/o Metro, we decided to opt it out since it will be out of the way.  Hence we decided to take train direct to Harajuku for shopping.

Went to Kiddyland and then had lunch at a very traditional restaurant.  I ordered curry rice and it was nice.

Next we went to Agnes B store.  I bought one Agnes B bag and helped my sister's sister-in-law buy a wallet.

Took train back to Shinagawa and we decided to pack food back to hotel to eat.

Bought some strawberries and cakes for desserts.  We enjoyed the food at the hotel lobby.  Nice to eat and eat.  :P

Day 4 - Back to Tokyo ~ shopping

Took morning train back to Tokyo.  Left our luggage in hotel and zoomed out for shopping.

We went to Kichijoji.  First time being there and we were famished hence decided to have lunch first.  We managed to find Ottoya restaurant and had a very happy meal.

Next we walked to the park and surprisingly, we spent a few hours there.  Some parts of the park were still covered with snow and we managed to get some photos with snow covered on the grass.  As it we were in a winter wonderland.  :)

Took numerous nice photos and by the time we finished, it was rather late.  We took train back to town and shopped at the train station before heading for dinner.  As it was rather late, we had ramen near our hotel.

Day 3 - Atami

Today we went to Kawazu for cherry blossom viewing.  We were amazed by the long stretched of sakura trees and also the stretched of stalls along the 4km path.

Took photos of the different views of the sakura and really spent quite a no of hours there.  Initial plan of going to Mt Omuru and the Kawazy Seven waterfalls was scrapped due to insufficient time to travel there.  We decided to spend the time walking and enjoying the Sakura trees.

Back in Atami in the late evening and had a very nice dinner before going back to hotel.

Packed our things to prepare going back to Tokyo tomorrow morning.
