Its Friday again.  Long week and finally...

Tonight, we watched "Brick Mansion" and it was good except.... no subtitle.  Some of the parts I could not catch up.  However, overall still good.

Tomorrow have to wake up early as going to USS with my parents and sister.  Finally I have a chance to go there.  :)

Additional movie for the week

This evening, we watched "Black Butler" at 9.35pm.  As the rest will not be interested on this movie, we decided to watch it separately.

We reached the theater rather early and was surprised that we were the first.  Still wondering will it be a case where the whole theater will only consist the 2 of us.  Hahaha....  more people started to come in nearer to 9.30pm.

The story was completely different from the anime.  Hence even if we did not catch the anime, we can also follow the story since not much linkage.  Just that by watching the anime, we could understand more.

Nice movie overall.  Just that quite a lot of talking.  But for me, its ok.  :)

Movie Movie

Today is Thursday but its our movie day again.  Tomorrow holiday so can watch tonight.

Watched "The Other Woman" and it was full of laughter.  Funny show and let us relax while watching.

We had dinner with Ah Cheng before the movie.

Had a good time eating and chatting.

Quite a few movies I want to watch.  2 Japanese movies that need to find suitable day and time to watch.  Black Butler and Kiki's Delivery Service.

Friday again.  My favourite day.

Not too busy these 2 days and hence can relax a bit.  However, nothing to do in the morning made the time passed very slowly.

We went to 313 Orchard for lunch.  Had Teppanyaki set lunch and ate Yammi yogurt for dessert.  Such a nice meal.  :)

Watched "Sabotage" at 9.50pm.  We managed to leave office earlier and had dinner together with Ah Cheng and Ah Fen.  Went for Carls Junior!

The movie was a bit bloody and full of 4 letter words.  Luckily the bloody scene didn't make us feel uncomfortable.  Overall ok lah but I think Die Hard movies are better.  Those same action packed type.

Good Friday.... Good weekend....  :P

Relaxing Sunday ~ gathering

Sunday liao.  So fast.

Woke up at 9.30am to do my early toilets washing.  Meeting my colleagues/friends at Vivo City for gathering.  It was rather a last minute one and since my niece not coming over today, I can join them.

We moved from restaurants to restaurants today.  In between just had a short shopping.  Drink Eat Talk....  

Good time to gather together and just talk rubbish.  

Surprisingly, I am not tired for the whole day.

Had dinner at sushi tei and desserts at Haagen Dazz.  :)

Friday again!  Happy Happy!

We had a very good lunch at Sushi Tei this afternoon at Raffles City.  Four girls chit chatting and eating at the same time.  Enjoying the food and the chatting.  Really did not want to go back to work after our lunch.

Just wanna eat better food for lunch today to pamper ourselves.

Watched " The Grand Budapest Hotel " at 9.30pm.  Initially I could not catch the story teller was actually writing the story of his own encounter.  Luckily managed to catch up and hence could enjoy the movie.  However, Miss Huang and Pencil could not catch it.  Pencil said she almost fell asleep and Miss Huang really felt asleep during mid of movie.  Perhaps she was also tired as didn't really sleep last night as she had marathon K dramas.

The weather is super hot these few weeks but after the few showers earlier, flowers started to bloom again and grass becomes greener again.

Dinner time

This morning, woke up super late.  Didn't want to get out of bed.

Skipped lunch and started to do my usual housework.  My parents and sis went to AMK market for lunch and I did not join.  They bought a piece of cake back for me.  I didn't want lunch as afraid will be too full as we were going for dinner at 7.30pm.  Booked for Japanese Ala Carte buffet at Toa Payoh.

The food was not too bad.  Just that after first round, we were all very full and just ordered ice-cream to complete our meal.  We booked for this dinner because I told my sister that I wanted to eat good food.  She also wanted as she said was stressful in her job.  Haha... I told her again that finally she is working liao.  Lol.

TGIF again!  Happy Friday.

Today, I could not withhold my temper this evening.  Was feeling so angry while working on my enquiries.  After some analysis....  it could be due to the champagne I drank.  I was feeling "hot" and maybe that made my temper bad.  No more alcohol during office hour!!!!

We left office quite late and managed to have dinner at Food Republic @ VivoCity before our movie.  We were a little bit late for our show at 8.40pm.  Missed a bit.

Watched "Marvel's Captain America : The Winter Soldier".  小珠 and I enjoyed the movie and think it was good but Pencil and Charcoal said a bit draggy.

Looking forward to next week movie time.  :P

Thursday break

We decided to book movie tickets for "The Wind Rises" yesterday evening as we did not want to miss this movie.  Since only 小珠 and I are interested to watch.

Watched the 9.25pm show at Bugis+ Filmgarde Cineplex.  We were just on time for the show.  Phew...

The storyline was good and the movie is a bit different for other Hayao Miyazaki's films.  Being more artistic and not like  千与千寻  which is more "children story".

Overall we like the movie.  :)

One more day and its Friday again.  Another movie night with more colleagues joining this time round.

Sad news

Another Monday.  So fast...

Was slow in my work and hence needed to stay a bit later to clear some work.  However... office had a power trip that caused blackout.  By the time we looked for the office maintenance guy, wasted about 30mins.  Server yet to be reboot and hence could not continue work.  Decided to go home then.

Read about the conference made by Malaysia PM.  Very sad to hear that the MH370 should be crashed with no survivors.  It is news no one welcome but at least it provided a closure to what had happened to the aircraft that gone missing for almost 3 weeks.  :(

Balloons

This afternoon, we went to Marina Square for our lunch.  Only 3 of us went as the rest had appts.

When we reached there, we saw exhibition of sculptures made of balloons.  Theme of Pirates.  Very impressive.

Watched movie tonight.  Show time was at 9pm and we bought Carls Junior Fish n chips in.  Enjoyed our dinner while watching the movie.  The movie "Divergent" was good.  Very good storyline and we enjoyed the movie.

Good News ~ We can relax liao

Today, I took half day to accompany my dad to get his medical report.  He done some test few weeks ago to access his heart condition.  Specialist at TTH suggested another test rather than doing angiogram or angioplasty directly.

When we met the doctor, he said he will make a very fast one.  Short meant good news.  He said my dad's heart is ok and his blood test showed rather good results except sugar level a bit high.  Have to cut down on sweet stuff.

We were very happy to hear that he needs not to have further test or ops.  Doctor said no need to see him again since he is alright.  Given him one year open date appointment in which if he feels uncomfortable again, we can call to make fast appointment for him to see doctor.  I hope no need to do so.

We can see that our dad finally not so worried liao.  He also scared...

Happy and we went for shopping after that.  We went to VivoCity and I renewed my M1 broadband contract.  At the same time, changed phones for my parents as I just need to renew and top up $20 for my dad's Huawei smartphone and $2 per mth to upgrade my mum's line to main subscriber i/o current sub line from my dad that could not get free phone for every 2 years recontract.  She gets a LG phone.

They have to start learning to use the smart phones.  Hahaha.
