Nice movie

Finally time for movie.  Skipped last week due to month end closing.

Watched "Disney's Maleficient" and enjoyed the movie.  Fairy tale but I love fairy tales.  :P

Just can't stand Angeline Jolie's bright lip.  Too red lah.  Hahaha.

Movie time

Its a long wait for today.  Very tired since back from trip on Tue.

Watched movie "X-men: Days of Future Past" at 9.20pm.  Quite a long movie which is 133mins.  Although in the middle, there are a lot of speeches but overall I would still rate it good.

After the movie, we went to Selegie for supper and met our colleague there.  So coincidence.  :)

Count down to HK

Finally its today....

Our trip to HK!

Rushed home after work and now getting prepared to go airport.

Can't wait to enjoy eating/shopping/talking with my kakis.  :)

21st birthday party

Today, my cousin celebrating his 21st birthday and his parents throw a party for him.  Inviting purely relatives.  Great time to chit chat with my other cousins and played with my nephews.  Too bad no niece.  All boys leh.  Hahaha...

Left at around 6pm and since it was still early when we reached home area, we decided have some coffee and snacks before heading home.  Too full to have proper dinner.

Went to this new cafe and the waffles and ice-creams were great.  Will go there again.

Happy Friday

Friday again.  Our favourite day.  Our movie day.

Met up with Bookshop for lunch at Millenia Walk.  She is now tai tai life.  So good.  No need to work.

We had a good chit chat session together with our few colleagues/friends.

Evening, we had diner at Carls Junior before our movie at 9.15pm.  Watched "Bad Neighbours".  We were late but glad that the movie did not start on time too.  Heehee...

It was a comedy.  The story was not great but just a movie that made people laughed.  The baby is so cute.  Got to know it was filmed by a pair of twins actually.  Could not tell at all. Both are Kawaii.

Haircut date

Today, 4 of us had a date.  Haircut date.  Hahaha.

Ah Fen, Pencil, Ah Cheng and I met up at Ngee Ann City after our haircut.  Had afternoon tea at Domani and the food was very good.  I felt so satisfied.

After that, we walked over to Takashimaya where I bought a pair of shoe and few of us bought the Yuzu vinegar which we tried and found to be nice.  Dared not buy the other one which is good for slimming and reduce high blood pressure.  Too "vinegar" taste liao.

Ah Fen and Ah Cheng left early.  Left Pencil and I to have dinner together.  Went to H&M for a short while and had dinner at McDonald.  We were still full so just ate nuggets and fries.  

Quite a relaxing day and we went home at 11.45pm.  :)

Nice lunch

Today is Friday and we wanted to have a relaxing lunch hence decided to go to Bugis+.  We left office a bit late and only reached there at around 1.45pm.

Decided to have lunch at Seoul Yummy and I ordered the Seafood ramen.  It looks spicy but still ok for me.  The food quite authentic.

Today we stayed late to complete our month end closing.  So fast.... its May tomorrow.

Touching

Got a FB post from my good friend whom I know her for 17 years.  Got to know her in my first job and we decided to go for a trip when we barely know each other for less than 2 weeks.

I left the company just after she joined for about 2 - 3 weeks and from then on, we kept in touch and planned for holidays together.  First trip to Australia (Gold Coast and Sydney).  Second trip to USA (LA/San Francisco/Las Vegas).  Third trip to Hong Kong.  Fourth trip to Europe (Italy/Germany/Switzerland/Austria/Belgium/Venice).

Stopped after year 2000 when she started dating, got married and has a pretty daughter.  No more spare time to travel.

I admit I didn't do my part to catch up with her and just on and off wrote what's apps messages to keep in touch.

This evening, saw one of her FB post and I am so touched that she is still keeping the birthday card I gave her 14 years ago.

Exchanges some messages with her and we decided to meet up for lunch and coffee next Sunday.  I want to chit chat with her again.  Now her daughter has grown up, will have more time to meet up for coffee/lunch/dinner.

Another post of her makes me feel a bit strange and not feeling quite comfortable.  I dunno why but just hope she is just passing some casual remark.

Looking forward to our catch up session.  :)

14 year old card

Visit to USS

Woke up early today and had breakfast at Mcdonald before heading to Sentosa.

Hardly I have chance to eat Big Breakfast leh.  Hahaha.

The weather was very hot today and luckily it was still bearable.  We went for quite a no of rides and max waiting time was 40mins.  My parents took all the rides except Revenge of the Mummy ride that we did not let them take.

For the Jurassic Park ride, I was the unlucky one that got drenched at the last dropping point.  Out of the nine seats, two will definitely get it.  Too bad... I am one of them.  I was like just finished bathing with wet hair.  Luckily I already got prepared by wearing black clothing that didn't get so obvious when got wet and rubber shoe.

We managed to watch the parade which usually has on weekend and public holidays only.  After the parade, my sis and I went for another 2 rides of the Mummy...  Just 5 mins waiting time.  We realised that by around 5pm, the crowd got lessor and majority of the rides waiting time was only 5 - 10mins.  Next time no need to rush..... hahaha.
