Woke up rather late today as I slept quite late last night. Went to polling centre at around 1pm. It was rather near to our house and we walked there. Under the super super big and hot sun, we were all perspiring when we were on our way back. I could not stand the heat and had shower again. Otherwise, I would have melted...
We went for dinner at Pu Tien @ Parkway. It was a last minute decision and glad that we managed to get a table at 5.30pm. We did not mind taking early dinner as all of us skipped lunch and were so hungry. It is Mother's Day tomorrow and we had a little gift from the restaurant (had to spend min $200 so we were actually "paying" for it). The food were good so no complain lah. My mum was very happy. Especially she has the gift as a remembrance for this day.
Walked passed Garrett Popcorn shop and could not resist the popcorn smell. Bought a packet that cost $15! What an expensive junk food....
Tonight I will be staying late to watch the results of the GE. Believe it will end at around 2 - 3pm. At this moment, counting of votes are still undergoing.
