Panic

Same thing happened today. I still cannot finish what I planned to do. Morning was distracted with phone calls and afternoon was busy clearing some urgent matters. In the end, had to stay late to clear my paperwork again.

There were so much to do and I began to panic as I did not have enough time to finish all. Luckily, 小珠 offered to help me to clear some of my paperwork. Otherwise, I do not know how am I going to clear them asap. Customers will start to chase if they did not receive order confirmation on the next day.

Tomorrow, I have and definitely have to finish those tasks I need to clear by this week. One of my colleague who is on biz trip this week will be back tomorrow. It will help a bit as I need not cover part of her work. Looking forward to tomorrow as it will be last day I need to cover for my another colleague who is on leave this week. Then I will be relieved and can do my month end reporting. I cannot concentrate on those reports hence better don't do first as I know that I will definitely make mistakes. Will leave it to next week or this weekend to finish up.

Bought tickets for tomorrow's movie. We will be watching "Date Night" at 9.30pm. This is a comedy show and I hope to end this hectic week with laughter. :P

Another Bee Zee day

Well, today is such a bee zee day for me. So many things to handle. I thought by finishing up the paperwork yesterday will create a more relaxing day for me today. However, it was just opposite. More work piling up today. No choice but to work late to clear them.

I still have some month end reports yet to complete. Do not know when I will have some spare time to finish them. Really do not know what am I busy with. Big ??? buzzling around my head.

Went to Crabtree & Evelyn after having my lunch. Spent $119 to buy body lotions for myself and my mum. Wow... luckily I have some VivoCity vouchers and I just spent $19 only. Ha ha...

They have promotion for one of the new fragrance. I quite like it because the smell is rather light. Can use it as "perfume" since I usually do not put on perfume as I cannot stand the strong fragrance. This Spider Lily fragrance is not very strong so just nice...

Glad that my tooth is not so pain today. I can do without painkiller and count myself lucky that mine did not have much pain. Perhaps because mine is not molar tooth. Cross my fingers and toes that it will be ok for the next 2 weeks and I can seal it permanently.

Count down for another 2 days and its Friday again. Looking forward...

I am brave today

This morning, I woke up with same pain on my tooth. Really could not stand it and asked my sister if she had any recommendation of a good dentist. Supposed to look for the dentist she recommended but he was not in the clinic today hence changed to another dentist. As I had problem even biting bread, I requested for most immediate slot to get my tooth examined by the dentist.

Luckily I managed to get the appointment at 11am today. The clinic was just next to our office building. After examining my tooth, the dentist gave me 2 choice. Either to extract or to do root canal treatment. Oh dear!!! Root Canal is my most scared treatment. Always heard people saying it is a painful process.

However, after asking many questions on the Root Canal treatment, I decided to go ahead with it. I was in pain and did not want to drag it. Also do not want to lose my tooth. I told the dentist that I was afraid of pain and she assured me that she will "highlight" to me during times when there would be sharp pain. Luckily I managed to complete the first treatment. Now I could recall, there were really sharp pain during the process. As I need to continue to work, I took 2 painkillers so that I would not be affected by the pain while working.

Tonight, I try not to take any more of the painkillers. Hope everything will be ok. Next appointment will be 2 weeks later and if all is well, my tooth can be sealed and next step will be to do crowning. Cost will be high to do the crowning but no choice, since I already done root canal, need to protect my tooth. Don't waste the pain I endured during the treatment... Ha ha... My sister said that I must be having great pain that made me done a bravery act to do the treatment. Imagined... I need to ask for anesthesia even when I need to do filling on my tooth. Otherwise, the dentist can never make me open my mouth.

Took porridge during lunch time and was hungry in the evening. Came home and tried to find something to eat. Due to the slight pain, I do not dare to eat solid food. No milo at home and finally ate 2 pieces of Royce chocolate with cereal/nuts. Bite using my 2 front teeth...

Haruma's birthday

Happy Birthday to Haruma!! It's his 20th birthday and is a big day for him. Hope he enjoyed today.

Well, nothing much happened today except work work and work. My bosses are going for business trip from tomorrow onwards and will be away for a week. Yippy! Can enjoy days without bosses again. Ha ha ha... Sad part is we still have to work hard...

I had toothache this few days and today's is quite bad. I am still biting the gum near the part where I feel the pain now. Not sure if it is due to sensitivity which will go off after a while or is there a real problem on my tooth. Pray hard it is just sensitivity which I usually have once in a while. Shall monitor for a few days to decide if I need to see a dentist.

So bad... just got a mosquito bite. So itchy now. Where I am the only got bite??? Blood too sweet? Ha ha ha...

She was so cute and tiny. Was unbearable to eat her but no choice... I still ate her up. Took a photo of her before eating. Cute right???

Stayed at home today. Feeling lazy to go out. I had watched Naruto episodes up to date and looking forward for the next episode. The scene where everyone was so sad to hear Jiraiya's death was so touching and sad. I felt I was in the story standing next to them feeling the sadness. Looks like I was too absorbed to the story.

Well, tomorrow back to work. Hope this week will be a peaceful one although I know I will have a lot of work to do. Cross my fingers and toes...

Relaxing Day

I enjoyed today as it was a rather relaxing day for me. Woke up at 10.30am, took breakfast and sat in front of TV to watch the programs. Followed by watching a few episodes of Naruto before going out for our dinner.

My dad came home rather early so we decided to go out for dinner. My sis suggested to go City Square. All of us ok with it and we took a bus to Kovan MRT station and took a train to Farrer Park MRT station. On our way there, it started to rain. Luckily we were already in the bus hence will not get drench since it will be sheltered all the way.

We were choosing between 2 restaurants and finally decided on Uncle Sam's claypots. Ate once before and felt like eating again. Ordered 1 claypot rice, 1 claypot noodle, a plate of vegetables, otah, wu xiang and tofu.

Luckily we ordered just 2 claypots. Otherwise we would not be able to finish all. With the side dishes, we were so full. Ordered dessert too and I chose chendol. Oh dear, I had this dessert 3 times within 2 weeks. Sinful uh...

After dinner, we went for a walk around the mall. No particular things to buy so just walk for digestion. I went to Comics Connection and saw Yamapi's photographs. Quite tempted to buy them but in the end dropped the idea. A bit pai sei lah. :P

Just went to facebook and got to know that my colleague's wife had delivered. Their first child is named Jerome. Congratulations to the couple!

ごくせん: The Movie

Yo! Finally I managed to watch "ごくせん: The Movie". This movie was released in 2009 but I only got to watch it today. I had missed the movie shown in Singapore last year.

In fact, I found it "accidentally". Was trying to find "Koshonin SP" which 小珠 said that it was all along in *** website but I was so blurred that did not find it. Finally found it today and watched it. Was searching for other shows after finishing "Koshonin SP" and happened to find the movie I was looking for.

This was actually lumped together with "ごくせん Season 3" and I did not know that it was there all along. Was so glad that I managed to watch it. It's just that there was SP before this movie which I still cannot find it. There were so many familiar faces in the movie. It was a gathering for all Kumiko's students. I enjoyed the two movies watched this evening. What a wonderful evening for me. Shall look out for "Koshonin : The Movie" that was released in Feb 2010. :P

Today is holiday and so happy that no need to go to work. But still need to handle some work at home. Still have 2 more days to enjoy before my nightmare week. Next week my 2 colleagues are not around and I will be super the busy. Hope everything will go well...

Moody

Today is first work day of the month and I was so busy clearing emails in the morning. No time to talk to people and was feeling so frustrated as work never be able to finish. I had people chasing for the month end closing and other stuff. That caused my mood to be rather down.

Luckily I had my colleagues who lunch with me that made me felt better after chatting about non work topics. After lunch, I initially would like to eat ice-cream to make myself happier but as I was too full, did not buy in the end. Instead of ice-cream, I bought Spinelli's cookies instead after Tulip's temptation. Bought 2 pieces but just ate one as I was quite full and avoid eating so that I could have my dinner with 小珠.

Today was April Fool but no one in our office remembered that. We were too engrossed with our work. Workaholics uh... Our Hong Kong colleague flew back to Hong Kong and she will start to work on her own from next week onwards. She was here for only 2 weeks but it seems so long to me. Believe she will missed this noisy bunch of colleagues here in Singapore because once she is back in Hong Kong office, it will be like dead town as it is always very quiet.

This evening, we did not go for any movie. Initially thought of watching "Clash of the Titans" but many shows were almost full house with not so good seats left. Therefore, we decided not to watch but to go for dinner only. Left office at around 8.15pm and decided on Coffee Club. This restaurant in HarbourFront Centre usually very quiet as there are not many customers. Perhaps it is due to the location where it is not very prominent.

Ordered something different today. As we were not very hungry, we ordered snacks instead. They were good and glad that we made right choices. We proceeded to Haagen Dazs for dessert. Originally we planned to go for Ben & Jerry but due to no seats available and prices are quite ex, we decided to move over to Haagen Dazs where there were seats available and with just paid a little more, we could enjoy nicer ice-creams.

We ordered 3 scoops with topping. The flavors we, or rather me, chose are Belgium chocolate+Strawberry+Dark chocolate with Orange. Add almond flakes and it was perfect dessert for us to end the long day today. After the dessert, I felt so happy and not moody anymore. :P

Super super the beezee

Ai yoh... today still as beezee as the past few days. Forever cannot finish tasks I want to complete for the day. It was always distracted by phone calls or meetings etc.

As Friday is holiday and hence long weekend, there were a lot of enquiries from our customers/sales offices. Many customers would like to place orders by today. Therefore our team was so busy during the evening.

I had to finish those urgent stuff so that I can concentrate on my monthend closing tomorrow. Our system will be down for one day tomorrow hence we need to do some monitoring work and ensure most orders will be entered into system by today. Hope the outage will just be the planned one day and not to drag for more days. Otherwise, it will affect our invoicing to customers.

Left office rather late at 9pm. I was playing with my NDS for the whole journey. Saw a rather disturbed scene when I reached Pasir Ris MRT station. To me, it was so disgusting. I saw a girl kissing another girl's forehead while they were walking towards the exit near the station control. Imagined that there were so many people at that area and they made such gesture. Oh my god!!! Initially I thought that was a guy who looked ladylike but... no it was not. She was a "she"!

Team get-to-gather

This evening, our team had a dinner cum team event at Keppel Club. We had dinner at Peramakan restaurant. The food was very good. Most dishes were spicy and they were really yummy.

After dinner, we headed to the bowling alley. Majority of my colleagues played but not me. I was in fact worried that I will injured my hand again. It had been more than 3 years since I last bowled. Did not want myself to get hurt due to wrong posture too.

I had many injuries during my days playing bowling. My younger sis also had the same problem and that made us stop bowling completely. Perhaps, will try to start again by doing it slowly. Hope I have the chance to pick up this interest again soon.

My stomach is still so full now. I think too much chillies and made my stomach bloated. Shall rest a while before going to bed.

I so blurred again

Today, I was still as busy as last week. I had so many enquiries to handle and was so busy during evening. Did not have time to spare to go toilet. See how bad it was!

I cleared most of my work by 8pm and my colleague was asking what time I will be leaving office. She just came back from business trip hence she needed to clear some paperwork. I told her I wanted to go home soon. Worked late almost every night last week and do not want to stay too late again today.

Luckily she asked me what time I was leaving. I happened to look at my calender and to my surprise, I completely forgot that I need to dial in for a teleconference call at 9.30pm tonight.

Immediately, I informed 小珠 that I need to rush home so that I can reach home on time. Finally, I decided to take a cab from Tiong Bahru MRT station. Was a bit hungry hence went there to buy Famous Amos biscuits for snacks. Actually the main purpose was to go there to draw some cash from the ATM. No cash with me. Ha ha...

Downloaded a photo of sakura bloom picture. So beautiful... How I wish I can be in Japan. Cherry blossom due in coming week at Tokyo. Looks like this year, there is some delay. Weather now at Tokyo is 1 to 10 deg and may have slowed down the blooming.

Progress of photo book

Yippy... I am glad that the 2nd photo book is now 80% done. Spent few hours today and managed to finish more than half the book. Currently it is already 65 pages and I need to work within 80 pages. Believe I can finish it by next week.

Today I stayed indoor again. My parents went out this morning hence left myself and my brother at home. He went to buy breakfast for me and ended up buying a lot of food back. Could not finish them hence ate them for dinner in order not to waste them. Main reason also because all of us were not hungry.

Weekend passed so fast. Tomorrow will be back to work. Hope this coming week will not be too busy so that I can have enough rest before the following week where I am covering my colleague who will be on block leave for 5 days.

Wish me good luck. Happy that coming Friday will be holiday. So left 4 days to work only. :)

Sumptuous call for delivery dinner

Today, I stayed at home whole day as was rather tired and would like to stay indoor. Watched "Code Blue 2" final episode and glad that the ending was good. Followed by watching TV programs in the afternoon.

Started to do my second photo book and this one will take longer as I have more than 600 photos for my Toyama trip. Already cut down many photos but still end up with so many. Its ok. Shall do it slowly.

My father came home at around 5pm and we decided to call for delivery to settle our dinner as my father was too tired to go out. Decided on Golden Pillow 933 as the price was similar to pizzas. As this was my first time ordering, I did not know how big the portion for each dishes are. In the end, I over ordered and ended up with extra food for tomorrow. Hee hee...

I ordered a curry chicken bun, mixed platter, small fried rice and mee siam. They tasted good. Next time cannot order so much. The fried rice and mee siam portions were big although each cost $4 only.

Forgot to mention... only 4 of us having dinner...

Bad experience at KFC HarbourFront again

My favourite day of the week is here. Yippy! Finally can have rest for 2 days after a tiring week.

Today we had our movie as usual. Initially, we thought of not watching any because I was feeling quite tired. However, we decided to proceed to purchase tickets for tonight's movie if there were still seats available. Not many choice for us and we chose "When In Rome". This was comedy + romance movie.

We enjoyed the movie and it was full of laughter. The male cast was so funny and so unlucky wherever he went. I like the female cast because... I could understand what she was talking without looking at subtitles. Ha ha... lame right?

After the movie, I suggested to go to KFC and intended to purchase the set meal for 2. I did not like drumstick hence requested for no drumstick for my 2 piece chicken. However, the staff refused and said that coupon meals "cannot change". Usually if I requested to have chicken wing, the staff will agree (many people also do not like wing as it is so small piece). So angry that this staff very persistent to say "NO". Well, I was so angry and decided not to eat there. Changed to McDonald for my Double McSpicy meal. KFC is turning customers away.

Meeting and meeting

Today, it was still as busy as few days ago. The day started with meeting at 11am. Luckily not a long one. Followed by another meeting at 2pm. We went out late for lunch hence back in office late. Was late for the meeting by 8mins.

This evening, we planned to have dinner with our Hong Kong new colleague and to bring her to do some shopping. We managed to leave office at 7.30pm only and thus left not much time to eat and shop.

We brought her to 313 Somerset shopping mall. Had dinner at Ramen Play suggested by 小珠. We ordered their signature ramen (with 5 medals indicated so should be the best) and also due to it had pork soup base. Ordered Gyoza and grilled chicken in bamboo. It tasted good except a bit salty and the egg was not as good as Marutama. My new colleague was very satisfied with the Ramen.



After dinner, we brought her to shop. As she did not really want to buy clothing, she suggested to see shoes instead. She said shoes here in Singapore was cheaper than Hong Kong. Went to Charles & Keith and she ultimately bought 2 pairs. She tried quite a few and although liked some of them, she dared not buy as she was afraid some of them may hurt her legs (friction). Ah Cheng also bought one pair as we told her the design was nice and suit her.

After buying the shoes, it was already 10.10pm. Quite surprised that most of the shops were still open. We decided to head back home/hotel as it was getting late. Ah Cheng sent her back to hotel and I called for a cab.

Back home now and will watch 2 episodes of Naruto before going to bed. Tomorrow is Friday! So happy. :)

Busy day again

Looks like this week I will be very busy. From Monday till today, everyday seems to be with so much things to do and cannot finish what I want to do. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

We brought our new Hong Kong colleague to 文东记 for their famous chicken rice. Total 12 of us and we ordered quite a lot of dishes in addition to their chicken. This is my first time eating this chicken rice and it tastes good. Chillies were shiok!

However, it was rather pricey as our total bill was $245. Very high class chicken rice uh.

So sad. Code Blue 2 final episode still not release yet. Am so eager to know its ending. Bloody Monday 2 ending was not very good. Seems too fast pace and did not really end properly. Is there any SP???

My First photo book

I was so excited this morning and looking forward to lunch time. Today we planned to collect our photo book. This was our first try and really wanted to see the finished book.

We reached Dhoby Ghaut MRT station at around 1pm and decided to collect the books first so that we could go through it while waiting for our lunch to be served.

The books were ready and we glanced through them at the shop. Wow!!! Very impressive! The book was printed with nice and clear pictures. Really like a story book. We were so happy with our first photo book and decided to continue with our next book.

I plan to start doing for my trip to Toyama last year. Due to too many photos taken during that trip, I had problem choosing which ones to develop. Now, with this new "baby", I can choose as many as I like and just try to squeeze them into the book.

Yippy... So thin and light to carry around.

Unlucky Morning

This morning, I woke up very early at 6.45am. Need to reach office by 9am as boss called for a meeting. Went out at 7.30am to catch the 7.45am bus to Kovan and thought will reach office on time.

However, when I reached Kovan MRT, got a shock to see that the station was full of people. Next train was 6 min followed by next train at 7 min. At such peak hour, usually the interval will not be so long (ie 6 min) and there must be some reason for trains delay. I could not board the train and had to wait for the next one. As today I was rushing for time, no choice but to force my way into the train. It was so packed that many people cannot get into the train for several stops. Train stopped at stations for more than usual stopping time and hence my journey took longer than normal.

When I reached HarbourFront station, the station was again packed with people that were jammed at the gate. At one glance, I think there were hundred odd people near the gate waiting to get out of the station. So unlucky that I was caught in such "human jam". In the end, was late but luckily I was not the last one to reach. Hee hee...

Just back home after watching movie "Green Zone". We watched it at Gold Class as I had a pair of free tickets. It was a nice movie and the plot was something different from what we usually watch. At the beginning, I was interrupted to handle work using sms hence could have missed some part but overall still manage to know what the movie was about.

Managed to check that "Bloody Monday 2" last episode was out. I will watch it tonight. Want to know the ending and why Spider plot the terrorist plan. Is J still the bad guy that will make me don't like him???

Lazy and doing nothing much at home

Today my niece not coming hence I can do my own things slowly. However, after clearing my office emails, I felt so tired and just laid on sofa watching TV programs. Surprisingly, I slept at 2pm while watching TV program and woke up at 4pm. Oh dear... tonight I may have problem going to sleep liao.

As I had a little bit of headache, I did not watch any J drama. Perhaps will watch a few episodes of Naruto afterward.

Yesterday, I took some photos at VivoCity to test my camera. Effect still not so bad lah.

Not to forget... wishing Happy Birthday to my number 3 idol, Takeru, for his 21st birthday today!

Sky Wu Mini Concert

Received sms from 小珠 asking if I will be free during this evening to attend Sky Wu mini concert at St James Power Station this evening. I had no program today except the need to change a new sim card for my dad's phone line hence decided to go since I had never been to St James Power Station before. As one of her sister could not make it, there was an additional ticket. Therefore I asked my mum to join since she never been to a concert before.

We arranged to meet at around 7pm. As it was my first time there, I did not know which entrance to go hence waited somewhere near the bridge for 小珠 and her family. The concert venue was Dragonfly pub and started at 8pm but we had to queue to go in from 7pm onwards. Ours were complimentary tickets from radio 100.3 hence there wasn't seats allocated. Managed to get a rather good location and stood there for 1 1/2 hrs until it ended. Took a few of Sky Wu photos with my new Nikon camera. Zoomed using optical zoom only and I could take a clear view of Sky Wu. Not bad seah...

His live singing is real good. No wonder he can still sustain for so many years. His fans ranged from young to not so young (like me). Ha ha...
