3 more days

Yippy!  One more day to go before weekend and three more days and I'll be flying to Europe.  I am looking forward to this trip as I really need a good rest.

Today, I try to do as much as possible and to start making notes for outstanding issues so that my colleagues know where to continue to back up me.

No jeans wearing tomorrow.  Why lei???  It's because I do not have enough jeans and if I wear tomorrow, I will short of one for my trip.  Hahaha....  Really must go and source for new pieces.

My colleagues asking me to buy wallets/bags/earrings for them.  I shall try my best.  Priority given to myself.  Hee hee...

Looking forward to eat Swiss chocolate ~ Merkur.  My colleague who just came back from Europe trip said that the chocolates were good.  Of course I know!!! It's because I bought it on my previous 2 trips to Switzerland.  :)

Shall target to sleep by 1 am.  My cough is getting bad and need rest to recover.

Countdown

4 more days to go and I will be flying to Europe for this year first holiday.

Work still that much.  Must try to clear as much as possible.

Having stiff shoulder today.  Must rest earlier. 

Blur Blur

Normal working day for me.  My boss kept bugging on when will I go and buy the baby gift for one of our colleague.  Finally after 2 weeks, I went today.  To prevent him from asking me again.  Initially, I wanted to go myself but 2 of my colleagues went with me.  Luckily they went with me, otherwise, I will have problem carrying the items back to office.  Bought a big set of toy and some clothing.

I cannot stand my hair today.  The texture was like so oily and I was wondering if I sprayed too much hair tonic on top of my head after hair wash.  I even went to toilet to "blow dry" using hand dryer.  However, the feeling was the same.

Back home and I cannot stand anymore and decided to wash my hair again.  Finally I think I know what happened...  I think I forgot to use shampoo this morning!  LOL!!!!!

Cooked cream of mushroom for dinner.  My dad said must use the cooker occasionally.  Otherwise will spoil easily.  Same for water heater and aircon.  So must use lor.

Super busy

Today is a super busy Monday.  Lots of work and cannot finish.  I need to prepare for my holiday next week hence has to start preparing notes for my handover.

However, with so much work, I have no time to really do the preparation.  Gonna do it slowly on next 4 days.  I wish to have a peaceful holiday in Europe.  :)

Back home

Stayed at Pasir Ris home for whole day until evening time whereby I went to Whitesands Shopping mall with my sister to buy travel size shampoo and shower gel.  Just in case some of the hotel in Europe does not provide.  We just bought 1 each for standby.

Weather was good today with raining in the afternoon.  Did not do much but just watching TV.  Just managed to watch 3 epi of j-dramas.  Still have a lot of back logs.

My dad drove me home tonight.  My sister and mum also followed.  Actually it was because they need to pick up the mop set and bedsheet.  Otherwise, I will take bus home myself.  :P

So fast uh... tomorrow back to work liao.  Left 1 week for me to finish as much work as possible.  Commentary for April, notes for my Korean colleague, notes for my colleague who covers my work etc...

Buffet time

Today is holiday and we decided to have dinner outside. My sister booked table for 4 pax at a japanese restaurant located at The Central.

Morning, I woke up at 8.30am and started to do some mini spring cleaning. My sister helped me. Otherwise, I think I could not complete the whole house myself. Left toilets and fans not washed as we ran out of time.

Walked to NEX for lunch and bought something for myself and my mum. My sister recommended me a mop that costs cheaper than the one we saw previously at OG. The one we saw cost about $200 but I bought one that cost $49.90 and with 10% disc under Isetan privilege card. Worth the money. I tried to operate it at the counter and it was easy to use. So we bought a set for my mum too. Also bought a new set of bedsheet for her.

My parents came to my house and we went to The Central together by train. Before that, we went to Chinatown to change currencies for our next week trip. We were on time for the dinner. Booked for 6pm and got a nice seat near the window that could see Singapore river. The place was quite big and the spread was good. However, we under performed again. Could not eat too much as we were very full after one round. However, we were satisfied with the food. Took a cab to Marina Square shopping mall as I wanted to buy a haversack.

My sister recommended Eastpac but it was too expensive. Went to a few more shops and finally found one at World of sport. There were many choices and we landed on one Reebok which cost $39.00 and had further discount of 30%. Very cheap uh. Just paid $27+ for it. Each of us bought one. So happy. :) Headed home and rest...

Super Hero team

Sinful sinful sinful. Had so much food during lunch time and made my stomach so bloated until we did not need to have dinner before our movie time this evening.

Watched "Marvel's The Avengers" at 8.45pm and we were not late this time round. There are a few super hero movies that we did not watch hence we were guessing the names of the characters when the movie started. Overall, this is a very nice movie that includes so many super hero and they teamed up to fight against the evil. At the end of the movie, it seems to us that there is a continuation of part 2. Hope there will be and definitely, we will watch it. :)

Mini car

My colleague drove her mini cooper today and initially, we thought we had to take our own transport home since there were so many of us. However, we managed to try squeezing 4 of my colleagues to the back seats of the car. Total 6 pax in the car. Very miracle that such a small car could carry so many person. Left office late today as one of my colleague broke down as she was too stressed with her work. We asked her to relax and do not take things too hard. She can't please everyone and need all parties to play their own parts. Hope tomorrow meeting will be able to trash out with all the various parties to ensure smooth operation in future. Ate another apple tonight. Left 3 to go... :)

Wednesday blue

Today back to work and I simply cannot concentrate.  I don't feel like working today.  Still holiday mood.  I left only 1 1/2 weeks and will be going for my holiday.  Will be busy when back but don't care first.  Just play first.  I really need a break (with no phone calls on work!).

Went for lunch very late and back in office only at slightly before 4pm.  Had meetings and that delayed our lunch hour.

Ate an apple for dinner tonight.  Very crunchy wor.

Good holiday

Woke up at 10.30am this morning and my body a bit aching as the mattress is too hard as compared to my bed.  Weather was good the whole day.  Quite windy due to occasional raining.

Stayed at home to surf net and watched PPS/TV.  Had early dinner tonight as I intended to take bus home myself since I did not have much thing to bring home this time round (previous trips all with big big items to bring home).

My mum asked my dad if he wanted to send me home.  I said no need but it seemed like she wanted to go to my house.  She asked my sister too.  In the end, my dad drove us to NEX to buy some groceries and then sent me home.

They stayed at my house for a while and then went back.  After they left, I'm home alone again.  Did washing of my bedsheets and also the newly bought thin mattress for my sister (for her to use as her mattress is super hard).

So fast that the day passed.  Next holiday is this Saturday which Monday is not a default holiday.  So sad...

Home

Tomorrow is holiday!  I am so happy. 

My mum called me this evening and asked if I want to go back home and stay till Wed.  My plan is to do washing of toilets, bedsheets and clean the house tomorrow.  However, I decided to stay one night.

In fact, tonight we can watch a movie since tomorrow not working.  Too late to book and all show times were full.  Shall wait till this Friday lah.

Glad to be back in Pasir Ris.  Did not bring my ipad hence borrowing my sis laptop tonight.  :)

Prepare for the trip

I took out my two luggage and tried to sort out things that I need to bring for my coming trip to Europe.  Most of my clothing needs washing as they were kept in the luggage and quite smelly.  Going to bring home and wash them tonight.  At least have sufficient time to dry them.

Nothing to do much at home.  Tried to watch PPS but in the end did not do so.  Kind of tired hence just want to be lazy and sit down doing nothing.  My niece did not come today as my brother-in-law needed to complete his painting of the house.

My mum cooked a lot tonight and I ate a lot.  So sinful lei.  Due to need to bring home 2 luggage, my dad sent me home together with my brother.  Next time, I will go home on my own by taking bus.  Don't really like my dad driving at night.  He almost dash red lights and I shouted to him to stop.  He was following another car and did not realise it is already red lights.  So dangerous.

Reached home and started to unpack my winter clothing that need to wash.  Also mopped the floor (dry and wet) as I did not do so yesterday.  Better do it tonight else it will be so dusty.

Will watch at least one epi of J-drama tonight.  Tomorrow going to work and glad that Tuesday is holiday.  My plan is to wash bedsheets and see if still have time to go to Pasir Ris house.  Otherwise, shall stay at home to watch PPS lor.  :)

Back to Pasir Ris

This morning, I woke up rather early at 8.30am.  Completed my clothes washing and tried to cook a bowl of instant noodle for breakfast before leaving house for my haircut appointment at 11.30am.

I took almost 30mins to cook the noodles as I was figuring out how to use the cooker.  That made me very late and I quickly settled the hanging of clothes, packing of my stuff, washing and left house.  I was worried that I will be late.  Luckily, I managed to get there just in time.

After the haircut, I went to Chinatown to meet up with my sis and mum.  We went for the tour briefing at 2pm.  The briefing did not take too long and we head to Far East plaza as my sister found a good deal for samsung tab.  However, did not manage to get it as the last piece was sold out.  Need to reserve lah.

I tried to find the hard case cover for my ipad but the prices were too steep so I decided to find it in GMarket first.  Went to Takashimaya.  Just had a quick shopping and had our dinner.  After the dinner, went to Plaza Singapura as we need to buy mattress from Seahorse.  Otherwise, I had to sleep on the floor tonight.  This time round, we bought the cheaper one which is not too hard.  The piece I bought for my sister at my house is too hard.  Its like sleeping on cement floor....

Finally reached Pasir Ris home and is so good to be back.  With my parents there and I can talk to them.  Not like at my house, I am alone facing the laptop every night.  Home Sweet Home :)

Nice movie

Today we went to Maxwell market for lunch as my colleague was there to collect cakes ordered from The Patisserie.  Ordered them last Friday and finally we managed to try it as my boss bought one and gave us a treat.  Ordered the famous fish noodle soup as the queue was not too long.  Enjoyed the lunch.

This evening, we watched movie "The Raven".  Saw the trailer and it was rather bloody.  Hence we decided to avoid those scenes by covering our eyes.  Overall, the story was good.  After all it was not too gross lah.

I was mentioning to 小珠 that I found the inspector and Emily's father were familiar.  Cannot tahan and made a search.  The inspector was the actor acting as Zeus in Immortal (which I quite like him after I watched the movie) and I guessed correctly that Emily's father was "Moody" in Harry Porter's movies.  Yippy!!! But no prize for guessing. 

Tomorrow I need to do ironing and wash clothes and bedsheets.  Cannot sleep too late.

Had lunch today at Pasir Panjang hawker centre and I ordered the char kway tiao with lots of vegetables. Have not been eating vegetables and I suddenly felt so "healthy".



Left office a little bit earlier than yesterday and reached home at around 10.20pm. Original plan is to do some cleaning but hor... too tired liao. I have to schedule one day to wash my bedsheets uh. Aiyoh like so many things to do.

Change look

Good news!!! I managed to sleep well last night again. I am so happy.

Woke up and mopped the floor before bathing. Since I am working late quite frequently and too tired to do the sweeping and mopping at night, I have to do it in the morning. Just a simple mopping lah. Just don't want to step on sandy and sticky floor. Spoiled by my mum who sweep and mop everyday. Cannot tahan if the floor is dirty.

NOR for leaving office was 9pm but was delayed due to my boss called my colleague to prepare some data for him. Hence delayed a little bit and left office at about 9.30pm. Reached home at about 10.30pm. My sister staying overnight today after her shopping with friend. Tonight I have accompany.

Cannot get use to the new format for blogger. It is so different from the previous version. Have to slowly get use to it lor.

No time to eat ice-cream!!!

Yesterday, I managed to get to sleep after about 1 hr on the bed. Finally I could have sufficient sleep. :)

Today we were busy with the same stupid task and we wasted so much time for such thing that in the first place should not exist. Had lunch at Great World City as my colleague and I gave a treat to my another colleague whose birthday fell on last Sunday. Initially we queued at Ichiban Boshi restaurant but was told that the waiting will be at least 25mins. In the end, we decided to change to another restaurant. Walked passed a Thai restaurant and decided to try the food. It was very nice. No regrets. Next time can go there again. 

Still worked late tonight and managed to leave office a little bit later than yesterday. Reached home at 11.10pm and I am so tired now. Have no chance to go home earlier and I don't even have time to eat my ice-cream. Just ate an apple as I was too hungry just now. Hope I have another good sleep tonight.

Staying on my own journey starts

Today, staying on my own journey starts. Worked till quite late tonight and reached home at around 11pm. Too lazy to walk from NEX hence took a bus back.

Kept my clothing that I hung up this morning after machine wash. Few pieces not dry. I think I will take one of the bamboo stick down and place it between my window grilles and the table top. Believe that my clothing will dry faster since I have afternoon sun at the kitchen area.

Hope I can get use to staying alone and have sweet dreams or no dream but can sleep immediately after laying on the bed. :)

So so tired

This morning, had a rest first before the big event. Painting!!!

Started at 12noon and we had to dismantle our old wardrobe first. It took some time to do so and I carried the heavy wood planks down to the rubbish chute with my brother. It was so hot and heavy. I was sweating like waterfall.

Next was to stick newspaper on the window grilles to prevent paint dropping on it. Then my father started to paint. I was helping the trimming of those corners with a small brush. Passed to my younger sister when she came home.

The painting was completed at 6pm and I accidentally broke one piece of mirror. Out of 3 now left 2. The broken glass spilled all over. Ai yoh... Made us more busy uh.

Tonight, my sister accompanied me home. I will start to stay on myself from today onwards. Now my only concern is to find a way to prevent 小强 in my house. Saw a few small died ones (really mini ones) yesterday when I came to the house after 1 week.

Saw another bigger than the mini size one just now in the toilet. Siao liao lah. Hope that will be the last one...

Another busy Saturday

This morning, we started to pack our stuff into the new wardrobe. Yesterday, it was installed and my sister started the packing last night. It was too late for me hence I did not do anything.

In fact, I did not have much things as most of my clothing will be moved to my new house this evening. The packing was quite fast and we need to emptied the old wardrobe as tomorrow we are going to paint the room.

My dad came back very early today and he helped to send my clothing and other stuff to my house. Now, majority of my things were moved over. Not much left behind as no place for me to keep any more. The wardrobe was already filled with all my sister's stuff and clothing. Poor me... I cannot stay in the house liao. :(

After moving the things, we went to Katong 112 for early dinner. We settled at TGIF restaurant and ordered few dishes for sharing. Ai yoh... for the pasta, it was too cheesy for me until I almost wanted to phew out on my first mouth. Told my sister that I need Tabasco sauce to cover the smell. Surprisingly, my mum said she was ok with it. We still worried she could not take the cheesiness. Or maybe the spoonful I took was the most most cheesy???








And end the day with a dessert plus drink at O'Coffee Club.
