Friday Movie Time again

Friday again. My favourite day of the week. I can finally watch movie again. Stopped for 2 weeks due to something on.

Bought tickets for 20th Century Boys II at 9.30pm. Before the show, we went to have our dinner at Pizza Hut. It has been a long time I did not dine in this restaurant. Usually is call for delivery only. There is 5 course set dinner only available during weekdays that cost $12.90++ per pax. Very cheap and food is nice too. We ordered one pizza and one pasta as main course. Shared the food as usual and I was so satisfied.

Though I saw one negative review for this movie in GV website, I find this movie is not bad. It may be a bit confusing but it made you feel excited to know who is the "Friend". After it ends, I feel so much like watching part III in order to know the real "Friend". I am guessing the person but have to wait till Aug 26 when it starts screening in Singapore.

Was a bit tired but I cannot resist logging to Facebook. Shall play for a little while more and sleep. :)

Guess what ????

I have done a rather weird move to book flight to Tokyo next month. Again Japan???? Many will ask...

My colleagues and I were talking about going for a short trip together some time this year. Just mentioned we will try to look for suitable place yesterday and this afternoon, we had decided and booked flight to Tokyo.

This will be a short trip for us as we cannot take too long leaves (can't disappear from office together for many days). We are flying off on 7 Aug late night and flying back on 11 Aug am. Taking A380 again. :)

As usual, 小珠 is of course going with me as she is now my travel kaki. The other one is tulip whom we never really go for holiday together except company trips. She is so excited that finally she can go Tokyo with us. I am looking forward for this trip as with tulip around, sure fun (she can entertain us. haha).

We booked a triple sharing room at Hotel Metropolitan Ikebukuro. Location is good as it is just few minutes walk from JR station. We can take Narita Express train from airport to Ikebukuro station. Very convenient.

Disneyland will be one of the must-go place. The rest of the 2 days will be shopping, eating and laze around. Ha ha...

No time No time

Ai Yoh.... why always no time to finish what I want to do. ???

Big ??? skips coming up. Already plan to do this or that but still cannot accomplish. Sad uh.

Something not right but don't know where goes wrong. Anyway, shall try to finish whatever I can tomorrow.

This afternoon, we went to Henderson market for our lunch. One of my favourite wantan mee stall finally opens today but... in the end, I did not choose this stall. I ordered the mixed veg/meat rice instead. Was craving for it from the last time I was there. This stall is selling nice dishes and the price is super the cheap uh! Ate too much today. Extra side dishes of char kuay and chicken wing all ended up in our stomach. Sinful sinful.

My colleague is so obsessed with the Korean drama The Cityhall that she kept talking about the actor. My the other colleague cannot stand her and keep talking about Boys over Flowers. She said the actors are more handsome. For me.... I still like my 4 Jap idols.

Was busy last night doing some decoration for my pet's house (Facebook Pet Society game). Though a bit messy but still look ok lah. :)

Shall now continue to watch Jap drama Liar Game.

Busy Week

This week has been a busy one for me. Was busy doing my monthend closing plus need to attend my great grandmother's wake. Took a day off on Friday as we need to attend the ritual during evening time.

My younger sister also took a day off. Therefore, we went to Tampines 1 for lunch. We decided to try the newly open Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Town. Since it was a weekday, there wasn't any queue hence was a good time to try the food.

Walked around the few stores and we settled our choices. My parents ordered seafood udon and big prawn udon sets. My brother orderd Tori set. My sister and myself ordered Hokkaido ramen. followed by sashimi. I could not resist the Ootoro and made a big big decision to order it. 5 pcs costs $38. My sister asked me to pay for my own bill. After taking it, my dad and I still think that the ones we ate at Sushi Tei still taste better.

We went over to Tampines Mall for the Hokkaido fair. Wow... is it Friday??? The mall was full of people. Did I remember the wrong day? The fair is always sucessful. Singaporean really like Hokkaido food. I am one of them. I queued up to buy the BBQ scallops and squid. Buy 2 get 1 free leh. I did not eat it until night time but it still taste good. There is also the famous Hakodate squid stuffed with rice. But I know we cannot finish it if I buy, so just give up.

After shopping for a while, we ended up at Haagen Dazs. We ordered ice-cream for each of us and enjoyed the afternoon. I told my sister that I enjoyed such a tea time enjoying ice-cream. Will plan for more next time. My mum not working so I can ask her along whenever I need a break. She is more than happy to accompany me. Ha ha.

Yesterday was a hot day. We gathered at the wake before 10am. The ritual started at around 10.30am that ends around 12noon with some breaks in between. At 1pm, we left for Mandai Crematorium. I didn't really cried when my great grandmother was pushed to the burner. It might be because we were not very close or it could be due to she had moved on to another happier and everlasting paradise after enjoying 99 years in this world, that I did not feel sad but happy for her. She had left so many descendants (5 generation) accompanying her till her last day.

With her departure, I think we will not have much chance to see those relatives. I was trying to remember who are my aunties/uncles/cousins during that period. Perhaps a while later, all forget again. We hardly has chance to meet again.

Wow... such a long one today. No choice lah, did not post blog for so many days and one shot now. :)

Half a year gone...

It's July! Half of 2009 gone like a gust of wind. So fast... I cannot think of what I had accomplished for the past 6 months. Oh dear....

Hope the second half of 2009 will be a smooth and good one for me. Though I am expecting more work coming up due to project to change our current system in office, but I still hope everything will go smooth and let me enjoy the rest of 2009. Of course, hope 2010 will be a even better year than 2009. Greedy uh.... 2009 still half way thru only and am thinking of 2010.

Today I was so sleepy and cannot open my eyes wide. During teleconference meeting after lunch, I was so sleepy and forcing my eyes to open. Almost need toothpick to keep my eyes open.

Dozing off now and then. Shall better sleep now. !

Rest and Relax

Woke up at 11am today. Not because I slept a lot but because I slept late at 4am. Therefore, total no of sleeping hours was still 7. Watched Harpers Island yesterday night and that was the reason. Went out yesterday hence left only late night hours to watch the episodes. Today, will try to complete more since tomorrow I can wake up a bit late (on leave).

My little niece came to our house today. Her mood was super good. Maybe because she had finished her homework and could play the whole day. Somehow find that she is slimmer. Or because she grows taller???

We eating out today for belated Father's Day celebration. Had no idea what to eat hence decided to go over to Downtown East first. After walking around the few restaurants, we finally decided to change location to Changi Airport so that we can eat at Earl Swenson.

Very united. We ordered same dish ~ spagetti. Even my niece also ordered kids meal with spagetti. After our meal, we shared ice-cream. It has been quite a long time since we dine out together with all members attending.

Back home now and still feeling very full. Will start to watch Harper's Island now.

Received phone call from my aunt that my great grandmother had just passed away this afternoon. She was more than 100 year olds and should be a peaceful one (although we heard that she fell down quite often for the past few months).

Outing

Today, I went to Marina Barrage with my mum and sister. First time there since it opens. Wow... there were so many cars parking illegally along the road and we did the same too. No choice and cross fingers that we won't get fine.

Once we got to the place, we finally understood why it was so crowded there. Today there was the Dragonboat competition. No wonder it was so crowded. It was a very hot and sunny day. We had to use umbrella in order not to become suckling pigs.

We walked for a while outside the building and went into the gallery to enjoy the air-con. Took some photos using my Sony Ericsson X1 phone and I was pleased with the one I took on the view with the Singapore Flyer. Some artistic effects on the sun rays. My phone not bad lei.

As we did not take lunch, we started to feel hungry at around 5.30pm. Therefore we went to Marina Square to have our early dinner. Decided to eat at MOF and as usual, I chose the same dish. I liked the seafood toji set.

After dinner, we went over to Suntec City to continue some window shopping. Ended up buying Royce chocolates at $90! I "seow liao". Well, have to buy some for my niece and also because I bought quite a few items so ended up that expensive. Told myself it is once in a while. It's ok. But... when credit card bill is here, I will feel the pain again.

Time passed so fast and it was about 8.45pm. Our legs were so tired and decided to have a drink at Coffee Club. I ordered Muddy Mud Pie to share and for drinks, I chose the Ice-blended Rambutan. I like the colour of my drink and it is nice too.

Before driving back home, we bought some pies for Hans for my dad who had to stay at home since he had to work today. However to our surprise, he said he came home early today at around 3 plus. We went out at around 3 plus. Think we just missed each other and ended up he was home alone today. Hee hee...

No movie but McDonald time

It is Friday again. Usual day before weekend and is my happiest day of the week.

No boss today hence can relax liao. Most of our team members were either on leave/travelling/on course. Left only few of us to "enjoy".

I craved for Fastfood today and luckily my colleagues agreed to it. We went to McDonald and I had a very full lunch there. Stomach was so full until I had difficulty walking.

No movie today as 小珠 had team dinner tonight. For me, I stayed in office to clear all my paperwork so that I can enjoy my weekend. Shall now take a rest and watch TV.

May go out tomorrow hence today cannot sleep too late liao. :)

Sashimi

Today, we had lunch at Fish Mart Sakuraya outlet at The Village Centre with our customer. This restaurant is under the Sashimi House Sakuraya group.

Wow... the sashimi is real fresh there and the price is reasonable. I ate a lot and felt so satisfied. Must bring my father there as he tends to crave for sashimi very often nowadays.

There is another outlet near my house (at Parkway Parade) but think this is a little more smaller compared to the one located at South Buona Vista Road.

On Leave today

Took a day off today just to clear my leaves. Still working from home but at least I can sleep a bit more and need not travel to work.

However, today seems to have a lot of things for me to settle. I sat in front of my laptop from 10.30am till 7pm. In between, just had a few minutes of rest to eat my lunch, dinner and drinks.

Well at least this is better then confiscating my leaves should I cannot finish taking within this year. :)

I started to log in to facebook Restaurant City game near to the evening. After various change of strategy, I finally able to hit the 50 pop cap! Yippy Yippy!!!

The weather today is so hot again. Can't resist the watermelon that my parents went to buy this morning. I finished almost 1 quarter of the fruit. It was so sweet and can really quench my thirst. But actually hor.... I should not take so much. Anyway, don't care liao.

Preparing to go back to work tomorrow. Therefore, I am staying good by not watching J drama. Rest for a day lah.

Back to office liao! For children will be back to school liao!

The final countdown

Yippy Yippy! Its weekend again!

No agenda for today except having the intention to watch epi 3 & 4 of "Mr Brain". I did it. Finished both epi and now longing to wait for epi 5 as both epi 4 & 5 will have Takeru as one of the invited cast.

As usual, we watched a movie yesterday night. This time round, we watched in Gold Class theater. We had a vouchers that expiring this month. Intention is to watch "Transformers" but almost all the evening shows are already fully booked. Therefore, we watched "The Taking of Pelham 123" instead.

Same as the reviews, this movie is good. Just that some of the parts, I do not really can understand them. Overall, still Good!

My father is craving for sashimi again. Therefore, I brought my parents to Sushi Tei at Tampines 1 Shopping mall. Good dinner tonight. :)

Sanrio Fair

This afternoon after lunch, I went to the Sanrio fair at Harbourfront Centre 1st level together with my colleagues. Tomorrow is the last day of the fair hence die die must go once to see if there is anything I can buy.

Shopped around and bought a dustbin for my house. To replace my current Hello Kitty bin. I like the metallic colour. Both sides of the bin is so かわいい (kawaii).

There are some stuffed toys and mats but I did not buy them. Unless I have a room for myself to decorate. Hee hee...

Big Foot

This morning, I woke up at 6.25am just to go to the toilet. Soon after that, it started to rain. Such a nice weather to sleep. Too bad... I have to wake up at 7am.

Was so lazy to sit up from my bed and was dragging myself to sit right up with my eyes closed.

Heard a very loud "OUCH" and I was fully awake! Next moment was to hear my sister shouting "谋杀啊”!

I had actually stepped onto my sister who was sleeping at the lower deck of our bed. Oh dear... Why I so blur. But partly also due to at that time, usually she has already wake up and is washing up. Today, she was lazing at her bed just like me. For me, it is a routine action for me to step onto my sister's bed in order to balance myself while taking my tower. Ai Yoh. Not entirely my fault lah.

Today in office, was rather busy and finished work at around 9.30pm. Took a cab home as it was late. Count down for Friday as my colleague will be back in office next week. Once she is back, I can do my own work and can go home earlier.

Am playing facebook's Restaurant City. However, I am experiencing poor connection to the game. Must be too many people playing at same time. Ha ha.

Well, shall now divert to watch J drama. Now going to watch "Mr Brain".

Chilli Hot

Today is rather peaceful day for me. I went to Chinatown for lunch together with my elder sister. She needs to buy some stuff at OG for her trip to Malaysia this coming weekend. Ate the 高记酿豆腐. So long never eat liao.

After eating and buying the stuff, we went to buy the mini buns. Can't resist them. So fresh and tender. Yummy yummy. Did not take a photo of it as all were inside our stomach. Ha ha.

I was sabotaged by my niece again. Went home by train as usual. Put on my MP3 earphone and started to play my DS. Play and play happily without noticing that I was in a very awkward situation.

As the 1st half of my journey was in tunnel, it was noisy as usual. However, when the train was out of tunnel and after a few stops, I realised something very wrong. I heard my DS game music!!!

Oh gosh!!! Die liao lah! Why again??? My niece switched my DS volume to the maximum and I didn't realise it... It was only when the train stopped at a station and just nice my MP3 song ended that I could hear the music so loud (with my earphone on). Really wished there is a hole for me to hide my face. I can feel my face burning like chilli rubbing on it. Feel so pai sei that I did not even lift up my head until Pasir Ris station. Luckily no one knows me.

I will need to ban my niece to switch on the volume of my DS. I also blurred lah. Usually I have a habit checking the volume but not today. Do not know why. Really a "good" start of the week. Ha ha ha...

Back home

At last I am home. Just attended my cousin's wedding at Park Royal Hotel. We reached there rather early and hence sat at the table and chatted with our relatives when they arrived.

My niece could not stand the hunger and urged my sister to bring her to Watson to buy something for her to eat. She was real hungry. Otherwise, will not ask to bring her there. She came back with a packet of Oreo biscuit and ate happily. Just finished the 1st dish and she slept... Real fast.

I would say that overall, the food was not too bad. The portions were big too and I began to feel very full when it was the 4 dishes. Sinful uh... I continued to eat...

The souvenir is cute. Not the usual chocolates but a little saucer with nice printings.

Now I am so full that I cannot sleep. Shall use this as an excuse to continue playing facebook games. :)

It rains again??

Uhhhh.... It is a day I don't really welcome. SUNDAY! It is a day whereby I need to go back to work again after this day. I don't want can or not???

Well, today I woke up late again. Too tired I guess. Watched TV program for the whole early afternoon and followed by playing UNO game with my niece. Now she don't "cheat" liao as she knows how to play the game. But still cheeky as before.

I just learned how to play Restaurant City. I did not know that I can buy tables and chairs by going to the shop. Hope I can get more points now.

Strange that it rains again today. Funny weather. It was so hot for past few weeks and now suddenly rain these few days. Hope this can really help to cool down the temperature. Really cannot stand the hot weather. How I wish I can go for a holiday where weather is cooling.

We are going to attend my cousin's wedding dinner this evening. Guess by the time I am home, it will be very late. Therefore, "cheong" to play my facebook games so that I can earn the points for today. :)

It's SATURDAY!

This morning, I woke up and found that it was raining outside. Am I dreaming? Rain? Surprise uh! It has not been raining for so long. Thought after the rain, the temperature will go down a bit. But so disappointing. It is still as hot as usual days. Sigh...

My phone alarm did not wake me up again. Thought of waking up at 10.30am but ends up 11.45am. Just because phone "died" due to low battery. Again???

We watched Land of the Lost yesterday at 7.15pm and had our dinner at Carl's Junior. Can't resist the fish and chips there. Another reason was because it was late and many restaurants will be closing soon. Therefore, fastfood is the only choice liao.

Saw one interesting trolley booth at Vivo City selling long long sweets. There are many flavours and you can choose either the sour or sweet ones. I bought one sour apple and it is yummy.

I re-arranged my collections of magazines from Japan. Placed them nicely and with care. These are my magazines with my 4 idols in there. :P

Left my mum and myself at home today. Mum cooked my favourite fried rice and we will have it for both lunch and dinner today. There are a lot of ingredients in there. Prawns, salted fish, roasted pork, eggs.... Wow wow... However, she cooked too much as she did not know that my brother and sister are not at home today. Nevermind lah. I told her I can finish them. Ha ha...

Nasi Lemak

Very hot and humid weather today. Cannot stand uh.

Today not my day uh. Started the day badly with my computer. Do not know why that I couldn't print anything out of our office printers. Figured it out for almost 1 hour and gave up. Strange thing is after a while, printing can be made. My computer "siao liao".

My colleagues drove us to Changi Village for lunch. A long drive from HarbourFront. Why lei? The reason is because one of my colleague needs to know where is the new Pasir Ris camp. He needs to know the way as he is going for reservist soon. Hence he suggested going to Changi Village for the so-called famous Nasi Lemak before trying to find the location of the camp.

This Nasi Lemak store is indeed famous. When we reached, this is the only store there where there is a long queue. We waited for almost 30 mins before our turn. Luckily the guys queued for us.

Hot hot hot. After we had our lunch, we quickly hopped onto my colleague's car. Aircon also cannot cool us down until we were back in office.

It is already half of the week. Now looking forward to Friday night. Hee hee. :)

Great Lunch

Today, we had farewell lunch for one of our contractor. He will be posted back to his office and hence we are celebrating for his "promotion".

3 cars drove 14 of us to Clementi. We had our lunch at Different Taste restaurant. The food is nice and price is reasonable. Pasir Ris Downtown East has a branch too and I do miss the days I had chicken wings ordered from this restaurant (when it was still in the bowling centre) while bowling with my sisters and sister-in-law.

After the heavy lunch, we did a very sinful action..... Eat ice-cream with waffle!

Wow wow... enjoying life uh while adding sins to our weight. Ha ha...

This is a newly open shop and the whole place was so noisy when we went in.

Pain Pain

Ai yoh, do not know what had happened to me. Prepared to go home after work and when I wanted to walk toward the fan to off it, I knocked onto my steel cabinet under my desk and my left knee was bruised.

Rather puzzled on how I knocked onto it as by right, with that position, it is unusual that I can knock onto the cabinet. Real strange. Maybe I should try and figure out how I did it so as not to let it happens again. Ha ha.

Ouch ouch. Really very pain uh!
