Day full of good food

Finally it's Friday. A day which I am happiest of the week.

Started with a normal working day with nothing special happened in the morning. Lunch time, my colleagues decided to drive out for lunch. Many of us were craving for Ramen and hence we proceeded to The Central to have the famous Ramen at Marutama Japanese restaurant. Usually there would be long queue and second alternative will be Watami Japanese restaurant.

Reached and found a rather long queue at Marutama hence we diverted to Watami. One of our colleague is pregnant hence we decided not to queue but to try to get seats asap. Ordered the set meal and all of us ended up very full. So satisfied.

Back in office at around 2.30pm. Totally forgot that today we had ice-cream treats from our company. I remembered only when 小珠 asked me if I wanted to eat the ice-cream at 3pm. Of course lah!!! Ice-cream!!! Haagen Dazs uh!!! How to resist??? Finally queued for it and ate 2 scoops of strawberry + belgium chocolate flavors. So satisfying... Yummy...

Tonight we watched movie "Killers". Before the movie, we went to Food Republic to have something light. We were still feeling full hence did not want to eat heavy dinner. I ordered ice-kacang and we shared 4 pcs of chicken wings + kueh tu tu. After the meal, it was just in time for us to walk to the cinema for our movie at 8.30pm.

We were a bit late as we reached at around 8.35pm. Usually it started after 20mins of trailers and advertisements. However, we were rather surprised that when we reached, the cinema was quite dark and it was showing the last trailer before the movie started (we remembered that it will always of lights off when it shows the last trailer before movie starts). True enough, the movie started right after the trailer and it was around 8.40pm. Hence, we guessed that now the grace period before movie starts is only 10min instead of usual 20 mins. Next time we have to take note of that to prevent missing first part of the movie.

This movie was a comedy plus thriller. It was funny and we did laugh on some of the parts. The ending was a bit unrealistic but at least it was a good ending for the couple. Glad that we had an enjoyable night watching this movie and reached home early at around 11.15pm.

My sister came home after me and was so surprised that I was so early. She thought I did not go for my Friday movie. Hee hee... :)
