Today, my niece was behaving very well. In order not to make her mum angry again and got scolding and beating, we asked her to quickly finish her homework before playing.
She took a little while to "warm up" doing her homework and managed to get a scolding free day. After finishing her homework, my younger sis and I accompanied her to do some colouring. It had been quite some time that she did not bring out her red school bag that we keep all her books and stationeries.
My parents bought "flower" crabs today. Cooked with chillies that my niece liked them. She did not know how to eat them and was waiting for her mum to get the meat for her. Her mum usually don't eat this type of crab as you need patience and skill to eat them. In the end, left with my younger sis and me to feed her with the meat.
She enjoyed the food that my mum cooked today. She even finished the vegetables and prawns that she did not like to eat. I asked my elder sis why didn't she give her daughter prawns and she said she don't eat them. I said no and passed some to my niece. She finished them. See... just because she said don't like does not mean she don't eat. I think I can upgrade to be nanny role liao. Haha...
So fast that tomorrow is Monday. Back to reality....

Fully booked
This afternoon, my sister asked if to go out for lunch. I suddenly had craving for high tea buffet and we tried calling a few hotels. In the end, most of them were fully booked. My sister said where got people last minute then make reservation.
In the end, we did not go ahead with high tea buffet today. However, I made a reservation at The Regent Tea Lounge for table for 3 pax on 13 Aug. Imagine... this is the earliest booking I can make. Good reviews for this place so we decided to try. A bit ex but hope it can be compensated by good quality food. I did put ourselves in waiting list for coming Saturday. If there is luck, we can enjoy it next week.
We went to Chinatown's Yum Cha restaurant for dim sum instead. The restaurant was so crowded when we reached. After eating, we went to People's Park and collect brochures. We plan to have a family trip but still yet to decide on the location. Therefore, get some idea first. Went to ASA, Five Stars and Chan Brothers. Wow.. in the end we carried such heavy brochures back.
After Chinatown, we proceeded to Tampines. I went to Hair Mechanics to have my fringe trimmed. Too long and so uncomfortable. Shall go for haircut next month hence trim the fringe first. There was Hokkaido fair in Tampines Mall. We walked around and bought the famous pancakes. Usually there was a long queue but surprisingly we saw no queue. Therefore we bought 10 pcs of redbean pancakes and to our surprise, when we walked back to the same store 15mins later, there was queue liao. Perhaps we bought at the right time when people yet to finish their dinner. Lucky lucky. I also bought 2 pcs of Hakodate's delicacies. It's rice stuffed squids. They were delicious even when we ate it when it was cold at home.
We packed back dinner from Qiji. The mee siam was so good. Next time, shall buy again.
That ends the day. So fast uh...

A good ending
Friday Friday Friday.The day arrives after waiting for 5 days. :)
This was the very first time where I was ready to leave office earlier to catch a movie. Usually, I would be rushing for work and caused delays in leaving office which resulted in no time to have dinner or to be super late for the movie. Our colleague gave us a lift to VivoCity and that saved us some time.
We had dinner at Food Republic and was on time to get to the theater at 8.25pm. For past movies, the show started with 10mins of commercial advertisements and trailers. We were worried that we missed the beginning part of the movie hence ensure we got in on time. However, today the advertisements and trailers took 20mins. We were so afraid that it will drag and cause us to miss our last train. Luckily the movie ended early at 11.15pm.
"Transformers : Dark of the Moon" should be the last movie for the series. The ending was good that wrapped up the story. We had good seats tonight and enjoyed it. Although we found some scenes were quite funny and not logical. But... it's just a movie lah... :)
Great night and I don't want to sleep so early.

IPhone
I slept at 3.30am and was so tired today. Played with my iphone and caused me to have lessor hours of sleep.
Whole day feeling tired and did not feel like working. So fast weekend mood liao. Eager to continue playing with my iphone apps at night.

Booked tickets
Today is Wednesday and we quickly logged in to GV website to book our tickets for this Friday. We are watching Transformers 3. Intention is to watch the digital version but due to the show times are not suitable for us, we proceeded with normal one. Bought tickets for 8.25pm show.
Need to do some work on my iphone tonight hence can only watch one epi of the j-drama.
Wishing tomorrow will be a good day... :)

Belated birthday lunch with Tulip
This afternoon, we gave Tulip a treat to celebrate her birthday. We went to Akashi Japanese restaurant at VivoCity. Took quite some time to decide on the dishes and we enjoyed the food while chit chatting.
We were discussing possibilities to take leave to go to Tokyo. Can't take long one hence planning for 3 days short trip. However, we faced some problem as both 小珠 and myself cannot take long leaves and also worried that our request will be rejected by boss. Therefore, we need to get clearance before making any booking.
One of our colleague's request was rejected when she wanted to take 2 days leave. Not sure which day she intended to take but due to she already taken twice within these 2 months and with her new role, boss don't allow her to take leave which will disrupt her work.
Guess we have to wait till our boss is in super good mood before we can ask for permission to take leaves together. Tulip has to wait for us liao,

Final stage of crowning
This morning, I went for my dental appointment at 11am. However, the doctor was ready only at 11.25am. The nurse called me while I was on my way there that the doctor needed additional 30mins to complete treatment for her current patient and apologised for the delay.
It took just 15mins for the doctor to remove the temporary crowning and put the ready made crown onto my tooth. Great part was that it fitted nicely.
When I was back in office, I was joking with 小珠 that if there was a big magnet, will it "attracted" me as I have a metal crowning. Ha ha... She said I was so lame...
Back home and I decided to discontinue J-drama "Bartender" and switched to "絶対零度". It is about detective case solving story. Watched epi 1 and I shall continue epi 2 later. It's second season will be airing in July.

Crying
This afternoon, my niece was scolded and beaten by my sister again. She kept giving excuse to get out of the room and not touching her homework.
After few times of her dragging, my sister could not stand anymore and beaten her. She cried non stop and kept complaining to us that her mum did not hear what she had explained and just slapped her or pulled her ear. Her bag and books were thrown near our dustbin and she was not allowed to collect it back. She was so "obedient" that she dared not pick up her stuff. I picked up for her to let her continue her work.
She cried non stop and we told her to go and have shower to cool down. Also explained to her that she kept giving excuse to delay her homework and that caused her mum to be angry. After shower, she finally did her homework and her mum agreed to let her go to White Sands mall with us.
Very dramatic but some time, her stubborn behaviour really caused her to be reprimanded by her parent. My mum complained why my sis kept scolding her on homework matter and whether she is like that at home. She is afraid that my niece will develop negative behaviour against my sis. I told my mum better don't involve since she did not know usually what happened. Let my sis take whatever corrective actions towards her kid.
So difficult to bring up kid nowadays. Too soft, they will climb up to your head. Too hard, they will go against you.

The list get shorter
It's Saturday and my favourite day to sleep longer. However, I had to wake up early as I was following up with an enquiry which I need to liaise with my USA colleague and customer.
Before I woke up to get feedback from my customer, my mobile phone range at 9.15am. I thought it was my customer but it turned out to be from dental clinic reminding me of my appointment on Monday morning. Ai yah... need to call me so early meh....
In the end, I did not close the deal as it was postponed. I went back to bed but did not sleep lah. Just lazed for another 2 hours and finally got out of the bed at 11pm. That was my usual time to wake up on Saturday. Haha...
Watched quite a few J-dramas today and all were the last episodes. The spring season dramas came to an end and from next week onwards, new dramas will start to air. Looking forward to another round of J-dramas craze. Spring list gets shorter and the Summer list is so long. I have 14 of them uh. Must ensure I can get out of office early daily in order to be able to catch up. Maybe this is the drive for me to go home earlier. ;P
I've watched the Spring 2011 special drama "最後の晩餐 〜刑事・遠野一行と7人の容疑者〜" and was so happy to see my idol who will be one of the cast in the drama airing soon. Haruma is the only one that I can see in the new drama for this season. The other 4 idols have nothing.
Hmmm... I am missing Japan again. When will be my next trip there lei?

Accomplishment
This afternoon, we went to Rangoon Road famous Ng Ah Sio Pork Ribs Soup restaurant for lunch. I've been there twice which was very long time ago. The place was renovated with nicer environment.
We ordered one bowl of pork ribs soup and a few other dishes to share. I like the pepperish soup that suited my taste buds. Some of my colleagues said that it was to spicy.
After lunch, my colleague dropped me at Raffles Place because I need to buy some snacks before going for my customer visits. My intention was to buy Square buns from OUB Center basement. The buns were so soft and nice. Not too expensive too to buy for customers.
Before going to the shop, I passed by an area which had a crowd. I was curious too hence walked towards it. Oh... there was a man sitting without a chair. Seen this on news that there was this man who could sit comfortably eating a banana without a chair. Really no chair. There were guesses that there were hidden metal plates that made him able to "sit" but I really could not see any of it.
Not watching movies tonight as it left with not so good seats when we wanted to buy tickets for Transformers 3 online. Many people booked the tickets immediately when it was released for booking. We were too late hence decided to have dinner instead.
Before the dinner, I managed to complete tasks that I "dragged" for weeks. Should finish much earlier but was too draggy to do it. So glad that I finally done it and no need to "ta bao" home to do. Felt such a great accomplishment. Hee hee.
Left office and had dinner at Vivo City's Food Republic. Another of our colleague joined us and we enjoyed the dinner together. In fact, I really think a simple meal can draw closer relationship with colleagues. I was happy that Ice Lady could join us. :)

Tired tired
Woke up unwillingly at 8am. The weather was so good that I simply did not want to crawl out of my bed.
It was raining quite heavily and the temperature was so cooling that it would be nice if I could continue to sleep. Day dreaming uh!!!
Reached office and cleared my work as fast as possible. Hoping that today I could leave office earlier. Luck was with me today. Not too many enquiries hence I could do my paperwork in peace. The bad thing was... not too many enquiries = no sales!!!
Back home and watched J-drama again. I really enjoy watching J-dramas. :)

Today, I was like a delivery man. Had to go to VivoCity to buy snacks for my customer. Specially order to have Don pie and Bakerzin cakes. Luckily my colleagues accompanied me there to buy.
Still busy today as usual. Left office at 8.45pm. Once I reached home, bathed and start to log on my laptop to watch j-dramas. Finished the final episode for Jin 2 and Good Life tonight. The ending was good although sad ending for Good Life. Really a very touching drama. For Jin 2, it wrapped up nicely and I was happy with it.
More dramas I am watching currently will end soon. New season, there are quite a lot of them too. Will end this round and start all over again in July. :)

Overslept
This morning, I was stretching on my bed after waking up and asking myself why so long, it yet to be 8am. Wait and wait... could not wait any more and looked at the clock. Oh dear!!! It's already 8.15am. I realised that I forgot to turn my phone's alarm clock on... Luckily I was still on time to get prepare for work.
Went to office and was in a rush to clear my emails, looking for my USA colleague for a deal and rushed out for meeting. When I was on my way to customer's office, one of my colleague asked me if I knew where was 小珠 as she was not in the office. I was in a rush hence also did not notice that she was not sitting at her desk when I was in the office.
In the end, we got to know that she had overslept. She woke up at 11.45am when my colleagues sms her. Oh dear!!! Both of us overslept today. But I was luckier as I was still on time. No one was at home hence could not wake her up today.
Shall try to sms her tomorrow morning to "remind" her to go to work. Ha ha ha.

No good sleep
Went to bed at 12.40pm last night. However, I was awake and could not go to sleep. Was very warm and kept turning right and left... Woke up for toilet call at 3am and drank a glass of cold cold water. Did not really have good sleep for the whole night. The next moment, morning liao. So bad....
Perhaps I slept too much as I woke up at 11am yesterday morning. Shall try to sleep earlier and wake up early so as to avoid same thing to happen again. I hate bad sleep. Usually I can go to sleep immediately after I jump onto my bed. Do not know why I could not do so yesterday night. Why why why???
These few nights, I had a lot of dreams. It made me feel so tired after I woke up. I could not really remember but mostly with colleagues... I vaguely remembered....
Today I managed to close a few deals and hope that will boost up my sales volume for July. Not sure if I can hit my target this month. Cross my fingers....

Drama drama
My niece caught a cold after back from a camp. Had fever since Wednesday and it subsided today. Is taking antibiotics now and is having running nose now. Tomorrow school reopens and my sister is preparing to let her go back to school. Hope she will be feeling better tomorrow.
Stayed at home today watching J-dramas and cleared my office work. Had a relaxing afternoon.
Shall try to sleep earlier from today onwards. My dark rings are getting darker and darker liao.
Another new week. Looking forward to a better week. :)

Lazyness
I woke up at 12.30pm today. Was too tired to wake up when the alarm rang at 10am. My plan was to wake up at 10am so that I would have more time to spend during day time. However, the zzz bugs made me slept again, ended up waking up so late.
Too lazy to go out hence stayed indoor for the whole afternoon. My dad came back early hence we decided to go out for dinner. Initially, I thought of ordering KFC! We went to out "canteen" ~ Sushi Tei at Tampines One again. My parent don't get sick of it. Me too.. :P
Ordered some different dishes today. We had the sushi platter and they were good. Next time, we shall try more different dishes. My sister said that actually we can don't need the menu and can order those dishes we always ordered.
We kept out stomach for ice-cream at Haagen Dazs but it the end, we did not manage to eat it. After dinner, we went to Aussino and BHG to buy bedsheets and dining wares. After our dily daly, it was 10pm where Haagen Dazs was closed. So sad uh....

Movie time
It's Friday!!! So happy!!!Today we were a bit relax as boss not around and we decided to go to VivoCity for lunch. My colleague would like to buy some skin care products from Tangs too. For us, we went to collect our movie tickets so that we did not have to queue for it this evening.
We watched movie "Mr Popper's Penguins" tonight at 8.25pm. My colleague watched and said that it was a comedy hence we decided to watch it. True enough, it gave us a lot of laughter which made us enjoy the Friday night. The penguins were so cute uh. I really thought they were real but 小珠 said that it was just animation.
As we had too little time to eat dinner, we bought McNuggets and brought it into the theater secretly. Well, I think people could smell it but people just did not care. Luckily uh.
The show ended at around 10pm. Quite early hence we could walk to the MRT station slowly without the need to run after last train. :)

Tired
So tired... Don't feel like waking up. The weather was so good this morning. Raining and thus temperature was low. So nice to sleep....
Went to woke early today as these week, I took own transport to office. I dared not sleep in the bus so as to ensure I won't overslept and miss the stop again.
Did the first part of the crowning of my tooth this morning. It took 1 1/2hrs. Was 1pm when it was completed and I bought 2 pieces of waffle and tao suan back to office. This was my lunch.
Felt hungry in the evening. Thought of eating cup noodles but to prevent time wasted while eating, I decided not to eat liao.
Gossiping with my 2 colleagues and left office at 10.15pm. Reached home very late today uh.
Looking forward to tomorrow. Can wear jeans finally. Last 2 weeks, I need to wear a little bit more formal as need to see customers. Also looking forward to the movie tomorrow night. :)

Looking forward to tomorrow. Can wear jeans finally. Last 2 weeks, I need to wear a little bit more formal as need to see customers. Also looking forward to the movie tomorrow night. :)

A little bit earlier
This morning, took own transport to office. Was able to take one earlier bus hence reached office earlier. I dared not sleep as afraid I would miss my stop again. :P
Left for customer visit at 10.20am and back in office at 11.45am. My colleague drove us to VivoCity for lunch. Eaten "junk food" - Mos burger. Nice food with chit chats. Really made us relax.
Today, there was slight improvement. We left office a little bit earlier at 9.10pm. Actually could be earlier but we waited for our colleague to finish her work before leaving office. Hope tomorrow will be even earlier. :)

Still late
Went early to office this morning so that I could clear my emails before going out to customer's office. However, I must be too tired that I overslept and had to take the bus all the way to Serangoon MRT station instead of Kovan MRT station. Just closed my eyes for a while and overshot!!!
However, I was still a little bit earlier than usual hence cleared some emails before leaving office. Back in office on time and followed my colleague to West Coast for the roasted meat and char siew rice. Yummy yummy.
Again.... left office late after trying hard to do as much paperwork as possible. Few hours gone while doing customer visiting. Therefore, need to cover by working late...
