Cozy day

Today's weather is very good. Rained in the afternoon which makes the day cozy. Stayed indoor watching TV and surfing net. Managed to watch Crows Zero again. Watched part of it last weekend and found it to be too noisy and all about fighting hence stopped watching halfway through. However, cannot get over it that why the reviews are so good and decided to watch it all over again.

After watching the whole movie, am glad that I "didn't give up" this one and watched it. Story is really not bad. I really liked the friendship among those guys. They expressed their "friendship" by fighting. Joined forces to achieve their goal. Shun Oguri really changed his usual "美男子" look and becomes a very "man" guy. Though I don't really like his this look but it fits the character he is acting. Can't resist and continued to watch Crows Zero II. Haruma Miura acts a small part in this movie but seems like possibility of getting him acts in Crows Zero III (if there is) is very high. He will be the next leader of the Hosen gang (风仙). Looking forward to his figher's look.

So happy that I have 2 more days to rest. How I wish we can just work 4 days a week and get 3 days rest. I must be dreaming uh...

No movies tonight

Today is the last day of our training. Finally!!! Due to the long hours of sitting and listening to the topics covered for these 3 days, I felt rather tired today. That is why I suggested to 小珠 not to watch movie tonight. Otherwise, we may be too tired and cannot enjoy the movie.

We went for dinner with our Taiwan colleague. She will be flying back home tomorrow and we had dinner at あかし restaurant at Vivo City. We ordered quite a number of dishes and enjoyed them slowly. As usual, I had a very full stomach in the end and stood all the way from Outram Park Mrt station till Pasir Ris. I am still feeling full now.

I should be staying at home tomorrow and rest. Will be having long weekends this week as Monday is a public holiday. Tuesday I will be flying to Penang as we are having a team building away day together with our overseas colleagues. Will be a big group and hope we enjoy the 3 days 2 nights there. Sad that I will not be able to be on the same return flight with most of my team members. I am the only one out among our team members. They are taking the morning flight and I am taking the evening flight. However, we are taking same flight to Penang so still not that bad. :)

Eventful day

Today I attended the second day of our training. Initially thought that it will be another day which I will have to try fighting against zzz bugs but surprisingly, the topics covered today are rather interesting to me and we had games after lunch which made us awake.

Good part was that lunch today was better than yesterday. Both 小珠 and I were happy with the food and enjoyed it. The buffet dishes we had yesterday were so-so only and I was not satisfied with the food which made me ate little only and got hungry in the evening. My sister said that usually the buffet dishes will get better and better each day. Now looking forward for tomorrow's lunch and hope it will not disappoint me. Ha ha... Free one also choosy.

Although we are attending training these 3 days, we still have to cover our own work. Had to clear emails during breaks and rushed back to office after the training to continue our work. Today it is a bit rush for me as we have team dinner at 6.30pm. Our new colleague based in Australia is here hence we threw a welcome dinner for him. At same time, our colleagues from Taiwan, Korea and Salalah are here too hence we just had a gathering at La Forketta restaurant located at Demsey Road.

I ordered seafood linguine for main course. The portion is big and I cannot finish the food. The linguine is a bit hard but the seafood are very nice. Initially did not order any dessert but my colleague told me that there is this home made dark chocolate ice-cream which I cannot resist. Ordered one and shared with my colleagues. This ice-cream is so rich and nice. Yummy...

Back home with full stomach again. So sinful... :)

Training

This morning, I reached office early at around 8.40am. My sister and I got out of house earlier as I need to reach office before 9am. Luckily, the traffic was good and hope next 2 days will be the same.

We had free sitting and 小珠 sat just beside me. Our table is at the front of the room and always had eye contact with the trainer. Ai yoh, didn't know that 小珠 really can fall asleep easily. She had lost control to her zzz bugs and really slept in the mid of the training. Thank goodness that after the lunch break, it was to play a game. Otherwise, not only 小珠 will sleep, think I will have problem fighting the zzz bugs. Ha ha... 2 more days to go. 加油!

I was so blurred yesterday that I missed to watch Buzzer Beat epi 10. Only today then I heard from 小珠 that she had already watched it yesterday night. Why I am so blur blur one...

Just read Takeru's blog. He had taken a photo with 小珠's 城田 優。Why Takeru looks so short here???


Have to rest early tonight. Need to get more rest so as to fight zzz bugs tomorrow.

Good news

Just received a confirmation from boss that my promotion is confirmed. However, we yet to know the effective date. Although the increment is not much (due to bad economy), at least I am still being "upgraded". Nowadays, it is not easy to get promoted in our company. Bosses have to give a lot of supportive reasons to justify the promotion. For this, I have to thank my team leader and section head for helping me. My another colleague is promoted to a higher grade too. She really deserves it. Now our boss is asking us for treats. Not one but two. Ha ha...

Rather tired today. Maybe I made myself "too busy" these 2 days while covering my colleague. Although I tell the rest that I cannot cope and will not cover much, in the end I still finish all up. That's me! Can't let go... Don't know whether it is good or bad.

Need to reach office early tomorrow as training starts at 9am. Just asked my sister if she can go office earlier tomorrow. Surprisingly she says ok. We will leave our house 15mins earlier and should be able to reach office at 9am.

Guess I cannot chase the next episode of Operation Love today as I am rather tired. I will definitely chase Buzzer Beat epi 10 if it is ready today. However, it is not updated in PPS yet. Shall wait till tomorrow then.

Oh yah. Just remembered that yesterday 小珠 showed me a very cheap airfare for Tokyo by Malaysia Airline. Round trip fare with just $398. So tempting...

Busy Busy

Real busy today. My colleague was on half day leave and I need to cover her duties plus my another colleague who is on 2 days leaves too. A bit panic when everything came together. Had to prioritise what to do first and managed to clear most of the things by 9.15pm. Stayed a bit late to clear them as I believe tomorrow will be busy day for me too. Will be on 3 days training so better do whatever I need to do as early as possible. :)

J-Drama time

Today, my niece came to our house as usual. She played for a while and started to do her homework. Was looking at her and found that she looked a bit moody. She was actually very tired and fell asleep after her mum asked her to take a nap. After she woke up, she was so chatty that I gave her a nickname "chatterbox". Her mood really swing easily.

Since I had finished watching Kurosagi drama and movie, I moved to watch Yamapi's another drama. Can't resist watching dramas he acted. Hence chose to watch Operation Love (プロポーズ大作戦) which was broadcasted in 2007. Completed second epi and so yearn to continue to the next, and next, and next... Guess next week will be another busy week for me. Ha ha...

So fast, tomorrow is Monday again. Will be attending 3 days training course from Wed to Fri. Believe will be hectic as need to clear work after the full day course each of the days. :)

Maggie Mee

Hello Saturday!!

My day started with a nice bowl of home-cooked maggie mee. This was my lunch which my mum cooked for me. Big prawns, fresh veggies, nice egg and nice soup. Yummy.

My sister went for an excursion organised by her church. Initially, she registered for me and my mum for the day excursion but due to overwhelm response, they limited to their own church members. Too bad lor. Shall join another time.

Left my mother and I to have dinner ourselves. My dad will have dinner with his colleagues. Since not many places we can go, we chose to go to Whitesands shopping mall. I decided to eat at Coffee Club as I still have the vouchers which need to finish up by early October. Same thing, I ordered the promotion sets. Only regret was that the softshell crab was quite saltish. The rest ok. My mum also thought the drink I orderd was guava juice. It was actually mango and banana blend. Same description as what 小珠 described earlier when she tasted it.

Pleasant day and the rest of the night, I continued to watch Yamapi's 诈欺猎人. He looked so cool in the movie in 2008.

G-Force

I just came home with full stomach. Just had dinner with 小珠 at Carl's Junior after watching movie. Actually I was craving for the fish n chips but so disappointed that when it was my turn to order, the staff said "no fish". So sad. This is the 2nd time we experienced "no fish" at the restaurant. Shouldn't they have enough stocks to cater to customers' needs??? In the end, we ate burgers.

We watched "G-Force" this evening. Great movie and it really entertained me throughout the show. The guinea pigs are so cute. Highly recommended as believe children and adults will like it. Even if you do not like hamsters/guinea pigs etc.

I just learned how to upload files to megaupload. My friend wants to get some mp3 songs from me but I am scratching my head on how to transfer it to her as the files are in rather big size. 小珠 reminded me that I can upload them and my friend can just download them herself. Thought it is difficult to do the uploading but after guidance from 小珠, I have done it successfully. But... I uploaded twice. It is because, I accidentally deleted the files after I shifted to my newly created sub folder. Strange that the copy I kept in the sub folder was deleted at the same time I deleted the file that was saved at the main folder.

Finally found it!!!

Was searching for the song Yamapi sang for the J-drama "Kurosagi". Thought there is OST released for this drama but there is none. Only for the movie. Managed to get the title (Daite Senorita) after some search and found the mp3. So happy so happy :)

Watched some of NEWS video on youtube and realised that Yamapi can actually dance and sing well. Happened to watch one of his solo performance and I guessed he is only around 17 - 18 years old at that time. So cute...

Continued to watch Kurosagi epi 6 today. Managed to watch one epi only as the rest of the time, I am busy searching for the song. Ha ha...

小珠 mss me that she found the movie which there is Hiro Mizushima as one of the cast. Title is "Drop". However it is in Jap only. Have to wait for the one with subtitles. Hope I can find it soon.

It's Friday tomorrow. We are going to watch movie as usual. Bought 7pm tickets for "G-Force". Hope it will be nice and let me enjoy tomorrow. No boss day too. Yeh Yeh.

Happy Happy

Happy Happy Day. Why lei? Cos it is Wednesday liao. Just another 2 days will be Friday again. Simply cannot figure out why time past so fast.

My friend msn me this afternoon asking if I have the cd for the Taiwan drama 今生注定我爱你. Her daughter likes the ending theme song and she needs to find it. She is lucky. I have the mp3 for the song she wants and I can transfer the file to her tomorrow.

I did not know that epi 9 for Buzzer Beat is already available yesterday until 小珠 asked if I have watched it. So eager to be home to watch the new epi. Just finished watching and 菜月 really so bad. Poor 莉子. She is so naive as to listen to what 菜月had told her and that caused misunderstanding between her and 直輝. So keen to know what happen next. Last 2 epi to go. Have to wait patiently for next week broadcast. Nice drama and nice songs. Managed to get the Ost from 小珠 and I like most of them. When listening to the songs, I can still have images of the scenes I had watched earlier. So nice...

Shall now upload some of them to my mobile phone as ring tones. :)

Tuesday. Hot weather. Sleepy.

Another peaceful day today. Glad that nothing "big" happened. Good good...

Yesterday, one of my colleague 雪人 came to office with anger. She went for hair rebonding costing her $248 but the outcome was terrible for her. After she washed her hair 2 days later after the hairdo, her hair becomes frizzy and curly. Do not look like she has just done rebonding.

She lost hope on the hair salon (reputable one) and does not want to spoil her hair anymore when she was offered with a re-do of the rebonding. Therefore asked few of us on how she should get the refund from the salon. We gave her many suggestions and told her not to be too soft when talking to the manager. She kind of afraid she cannot be too firm hence trying to take note of whatever we told her.

One of my colleague mentioned that her hair looked like one of the Harry Potter's character and the first thing that striked my head made me throw out " Dumbledore". All of us laughed and actually my colleague wanted to say " Hermoine". Ha ha.... Another of my colleague said that her hair looked like Dumbledore when she paid $248. If she took the cheaper one at $100 plus, her hair will turn out to be like Hagrid. This made all of us laughed and laughed. Poor girl, we had made ourselves so happy at her mishap. :P

During today's lunch, we were talking about one of our colleague's wedding next month. Do not know how it got started but 雪人 started to mention about Harry Potter again. She told my colleague that he can make his wedding dinner theme as Harry Potter setup. She can be the MC as her hair looked like Dumbledore (he always gave a speech before the meals). She can lead the newly wed couple by holding a lamp as she can pose as Hagrid to lead them on the red carpet, while playing Harry Potter theme song. She can act like Hermoine too as her hair looks like hers. The wedding dinner table will not be the traditional round one but long tables like what the 3 houses in Harry Potter took their meals. With a "tink", all food will be appeared without waiters and waitresses bringing them out... and it went on and on...

We laughed and laughed while she happily became high and carry on her dream talk. Such an enjoyable lunch today. I was already very full after taking my lunch. With the jokes, I was even more full and my jaws were so pain until cannot laugh anymore.

She really funny and can make people laugh. This ease our tension and can feel more relax. :)

Slow Monday

Today, I woke up in the morning very unwillingly. How I wish it is still Sunday and do not have to go to work. Dreaming lah... wake up wake up!!!

The day started very slowly. I thought I was the only one but received a MSN from 小珠 that she was falling asleep. Ha ha... found someone sharing same mood as me! Both of us were counting down time and hope we could go back home. During lunch time, we talked about J-drama "Buzzer Beat". There are 3 more epi and really wish to know the ending. We are wondering which is the next J-drama we should watch. My intention is to watch 诈欺猎人，Kurosagi (The Black Swindle) ，which main cast is Yamapi. This drama aired in Japan in 2006. Quite long ago show.

I really started watching it when I reached home today. Rarely for me to be home before 8.30pm. I did it today. So happy that it lefts me with more time to do my stuff. Just completed epi 3. Yamapi looks so young (and face a bit rounded) in this show and I like some of his funny & cute actions. The opening theme song is also sang by him. Have to stop at this epi. Otherwise, I will have trouble tomorrow when I looked tired again. Shall see newspaper now before going to sleep.

Buzzer Beat

Huh... I had finished Epi 8 of Buzzer Beat. Did not start watching this J-drama until 小珠 told me the storyline. Initially thought of just watching Epi 1 first and continue the rest slowly. However, after watching Epi 1, craved to watch Epi 2 and it went on until I finished Epi 8. Am longing for the next 3 Epi.

I kind of like to watch J-dramas/movies with uniforms. Many years ago, I liked Good Luck (Pilot), Pride (Ice Hockey) until recent Air Hostess (Air stewardess), Rookies (Baseball), Code Blue (Doctor/nurse) and this Buzzer Beat (Basket Ball). Most importantly, these are with good storyline dramas. Another typed of J-dramas I liked to watch are those with school-life. Not too sure if it is because I can recall my school days after watching them. Hope Japan will continue to have good dramas and of course I will conitinue to watch them.

The problem I have is whenever the J-drama is too good, I will start to like the main casts. First is Okada Masaki from Hana Kimi, Second is Hiro Mizushima from Hana Kimi, Third is Sato Takeru from Rookies and Fourth is Miura Haruma from Bloody Monday. This time round is Yamashita Tomohisa who is so cool in the show (and in Code Blue too). Oh dear... I cannot have another idol liao. 4 is enough... :P

Lazy

Today I woke up at 8am and thought I could take another 1 hour sleep before waking up. My sister asked me to wake up earlier on Saturday so that we can go out earlier instead of staying at home doing nothing.

However, I thinked I was too tired and I slept until 10am. When I woke up, my sister and mum had already went out to the market. My sister did not wake me up as I was sleeping like a pig.

After lunch, we watched TV programs until around 5.00pm. I was too lazy to even log on my laptop to surf net and play games. Just feeling happy by laying on the sofa watching the shows. We went to Parkway Parade for dinner. My mum craved for Ajisen ramen hence we zoomed straight to the restaurant when we reached there at 6.15pm. Glad that the restaurant was not crowded. Actually this was my 2nd time eating same ramen during this week.

Shopped around the shopping mall until 9pm and went home. Though did not do much today, still feel happy to be lazy and do nothing. It is an enjoyable thing to do when you are tired and do not feel like moving around. Ha ha...

Time Traveller

Just reached home after watching movie "The Time Traveller's Wife". This is a touching story of a man who had no way to control his special power of time travelling. However, he found himself a wife who loved him and tried ways to get a baby for him. Though he did not manage to live long to be with them, due to his power, his wife and daugher could still meet him when the "earlier" him time travelled to the future. Overall, I like this movie.

We watched 7pm show hence it ended early at 9pm. 小珠 and I went to Coffee Club for dinner. I was craving for the promotion set that I had few weeks ago with my parents and hope I could eat it again. However, they have changed to another new promotion sets with pastas and baked rices. The new sets looks yummy. I ordered pasta with lobster sauce and 小珠 ordered linguinie with black pepper cream. These sets came with free smoothies drinks. We chose the mango banana blossom and the tropical blast. Both taste good. We ate until our stomachs going to explode.

Overall, a good Friday for me. :P

Feeling so lost

Today, our lunch kakis broke into 2 groups. One group was to go ABC market to have lunch suggested by boss and my group (小珠, Tulip and myself) stayed and had our lunch near office. Reason being I was wearing slipper and did not want to go far location for lunch.

Initially we decided to eat Burger King and while on our way to VivoCity, Tulip suddenly mentioned about pasta and hence we diverted to Pizza Hut. Glad that the restaurant is offering set lunch. 3 of us ordered pasta and the set came with a drink and soup. We ordered additional Sweet n Spicy drumlets. Yummy Yummy lunch.

After lunch, I cleared all my emails, do all my miscellaneous stuffs, completed my expense claims etc... Felt so lost that do not know what to do next. Walked around to make myself busy but still feel so lost. It had been so long since I felt I am "so free". Ha ha...

MSN 小珠 about me feeling so lost and nothing to do. Managed to be "free" for an hour and started to have some issue for me to work on. Lucky uh... else really do not know what to do next. With this, I managed to go back early today (almost same timing as yesterday). Was home 15 mins earlier because that tortoise feeder bus ate some booster and came earlier. Ha ha...

Home

Yippy!! I'm home now. Time is 9.30pm. Reached home at 8.45pm as I finished my work rather early today. Actually, I can be home by 8.30pm but because of the tortoise feeder bus, I wasted 20mins waiting for it to take me home from the bus interchange.

Tomorrow is the 15th day of Lunar Seventh month. My parents went to buy those offerings and my auntie (my dad's sister) made some rice kuehs for us. We love the homemade kuehs and we actually don't buy from the stalls outside as we cannot find a better one than those made by my auntie.

I just ate 2 just now as I cannot resist the freshly made ones. Sinful to eat 2 at one go but... long time eat once is ok lah. Ha ha...

There is more time for me today hence I will continue watching PPS today. :)

Movie on Tuesday evening

I slept rather early yesterday and it does feel good to have more rest. Shall try to sleep earlier from now on. Today will be slightly later than yesterday because I just reached home after watching movie "The Final Destination".

Our company's recreation committee organised the show for today. Not too sure if it is because it is cheaper on Tuesday screening. Anyway, we got the tickets being subsidised so no complain.

Before going for the movie, my colleague who had watched it told us that there are scenes which are a bit gross and jokingly asked us to go and eat Sashimi before the show. After watching the movie, I understood why he said Sashimi to us. Now I even have to think twice before I take pig's liver. Ha ha....

The sound effect was too good that made me a bit scared and dare not look straight towards the screen. I somehow try to watch it with 3/4 closed eyes. At least I won't be able to have a very "clear" view of those disgusting scenes on how the characters got killed. 小珠 had closed her eyes and ears most of the time. The sound effect was too loud for her...

As I did not watch the earlier 3 movies, my colleague and her husband mentioned that the first movie was the best among all. Perhaps I will go and look for the other 3 movies and watched them. Crazy right? Scared but still want to watch. Human is like dat. Ha ha...

After the movie that ended at 8.45pm, both of us went to Long John Silver fastfood restaurant for dinner. As usual, we ordered our usual favourite set and went home with full stomach.

Here am I sitting in front of my laptop, with such a round stomach. Eat too full liao. :(
