小珠 and Ah Thin queued for a table and nearly being asked to change to a table for 2 as we were late. Journey from the west was a bit heavy hence caused us to be late. Luckily we arrived before the staff "took action". However, the restaurant name "Madam Kwan" was misleading. Ah Fen thought it was another ex-colleague of ours and could not get us that we were meeting at this restaurant. Ah Xue worse still. She thought "saw Madam Kwan" and need to "run away". She mistaken our conversation in whats apps. Hahaha.
I ordered their signature nasi lemak. Was expensive but since I hardly will patronize this restaurant, I decided to order it. Changed the rendang chicken to curry chicken. It was very good and tasty. No wonder so expensive.
We moved to 满记 for desserts and continued chit-chatting. Finally Ah Xue met us after her shopping. She skipped lunch as she had heavy breakfast. One watch joined us after her lunch appointment.
Glad to meet them up and we enjoyed the chit-chatting session. Will have more chance to meet up after we settled down and should have lessor meetings.
