This morning, woke up rather early as our appointment to meet the tiles contractor was at 11am. The location was very far at Sungei Kadut Way. We took a cab there and was quite excited to see so many different designs of tiles.
My plan is to have white theme for the toilets so that it will look bigger so we could easily zoomed into the few tiles that were white and easy to maintain. Flooring colour to be grey.
The tiles contractor gave some advice and we managed to choose the right tiles. Next is to meet up with reno contractor to discuss about the colour theme for my wardrobes and kitchen cabinets so that we could use the right colour of wall and floor tiles.
For the 2 bedrooms and living room floor tiles, the tiles contractor chosen 3 for us to choose. All 3 were in light colour. We chose the one that could "cover dirts" better. Need to be more practical than to choose fanciful but difficult to maintain ones.
Made a trip to my new house to sweep the floor. My dad scattered some rice on the floor when we first got into the house after collection of key. Glad that there was only 1 dead cockroach in the dustbin cabinet. Hope that time is a one-off scary moment for me.
Took bus to Sengkang's Compass Point to buy new blanket at Metro. My sis and I just bought new blankets for CNY. However, we could not tahan the sight of being "wooly". We were covered with wool every time we woke up. Clothing, pillowcase, bedsheets, floor, window grilles etc were all so dusty. Bought 1 to try and hope we won't get same problem again.
