Never want to see again lah

Today, its last day of the month and we have to try to clear all paperwork for Jul by tomorrow noon time.  Our Finance dept needs to do estimation for Jul P&L.

Although I started to tidy up some in the morning, I still had to stay late to clear the rest.  Handling enquiries from 4.30 to 8.30pm and left the rest of the time to clear paperwork.  Had some discussion in between too that slowed down my work.

 In the end 4 of us (Ah Cheng/Ah Huang/Ah Fen/Me) stayed till as late as 1am.  I left with Ah Huang at ard 1.05am.  Walked to take cab and saw an unusual sight which we never want to see again.

Only work late then can see this.  I do not want to see it again!!!

Sleepy

So sleepy uh.  Quite good weather in the morning.

We had a quick lunch after our meeting.  Had to rush back to office to clear my work.  Month end is approaching and needs to tidy up my docs to ensure smooth closing.

Monday again

Its Monday again.  So sad....

Rainy day today.  How I wish I can sleep at home leh.

Went to Maxwell market for lunch today.  Ate my favourite fish bee hoon soup.  Rainy day hence I did not mind taking hot soup.  At least won't perspire.

Dinner at.....

Today, my elder sister family not coming to my parents house as they are having dinner to celebrate one relative's birthday.  In the end, they can't join us to celebrate my brother's birthday.

I spent the whole morning sleeping.  Afternoon surfed net and watched j dramas.  Evening left house at 5pm to NEX for dinner.  My brother chose.... Sushi Tei.  Again.... I just ate it last night.  However, I was ok with that.

We had early dinner and went to buy new phone for my brother.  He wanted a new phone so we chipped in to buy for him.  He chose Samsung Galaxy 4.  Was deciding between S4 and Note 2.  Since he is not using the phone for watching movie/video and for writing a lot of notes, we asked him to choose S4 since it is smaller in size for him to keep in his pocket.  

He actually wants the blue colour but the Singtel roadshow at NEX does not carry this colour.  Moreover, it will be more expensive.  The roadshow is giving freebies.  Not too bad.  My brother received car charger, 2 handphone Samsung original covers and a sticker for quick launching (more for car usage).  

My sister staying with me for 2 nights.  She is attending 2 days course at SIM.  There is a direct bus from my area hence more convenient.  

Gathering

This afternoon, I went to my sister's house with my parents and sister.  However, we could not get in as the flooring tiles just lay by the contractor.  We better don't step on them.  Nothing much to view hence we left quite soon.

My sister brought my parents to The Star Vista. I went to PS for haircut.  Ai yoh... Spent money again.  I saw promotion in M&S and bought 2 pairs of jeans.  The cutting fits me and most of my jeans are from M&S.  No need to alter the length as I chose the short cutting.  They have short, medium and long.  Saved money for alteration.

Met up with Tulip, 小珠 and Ah Huang.  We had dinner at Sushi Tei.  Enjoyed the food while chit chatting.  This gathering was very good.  We had so much to talk.  Hahaha.  We plan it more frequent in future.  Tonight is to celebrate Tulip's belated birthday.

We sat till the restaurant closed.  First time lei.

Good movie

Its Friday!  Sooooo happppppyyyy!

This morning, I went to see Dr Leow for blood test and to take medicine.  Saw this on the table.

 

Its chocolate uh.  Hee hee... But... I didn't take wor.

Today, our colleague decided to have lunch at Cambridge Road hawker centre.  It was quite late when we reached there hence there were plenty of empty tables for us to choose.  I chose Lor Mee as it looked good.  Very nice and cheap uh.  I ordered the $3 with more ingredients.  Normal bowl costs $2.50.

Tidied up my work and Ah Cheng will back me up for any new enq that comes in.  However, I am lucky that there are actually no more after I left office hence no need to trouble Ah Cheng.

Reached VivoCity at 7.30pm and we had dinner at LJS.  Maybe quite long never eat there, I enjoyed the food.

We watched "The Wolverine" at 9pm.  The movie was very good and maybe partly it was filmed entirely in Japan.  How I wish I can go again soon.  :P

Tomorrow, Ah Huang, 小珠 and myself will be meeting Tulip for dinner.  It is belated birthday celebration for her.  I will go for my hair cut at 3pm before meeting them.

Lunch with ex colleagues

This afternoon, Ah Yong asked if Ah Huang and myself were free to have lunch with 2 of our ex-colleagues.  Since it would not be a long one, we agreed and took train to Promenade station.

We met at Saboten restaurant and had our lunch while chit-chatting.  Nice to meet up with them.

One more day to go... and its TGIF!

More hands on

Had a heavy and good lunch today at Li Bai restaurant.  The food was very good.  :)

Back in office at 3pm and started to get prepared for 4.30pm.

More organised today and had slightly lessor enq.  Hence I was able to cope with slower pace.  More hands on today and hope I can continue to have high hit rate everyday.    

By the time I finished the enq, it was abt 8pm and I decided to carry on doing the paperwork.  Left office slightly earlier at 10.50pm.  Hahaha.

Our boss maybe too pai sei that his staff all stayed back.  He stayed back with us too....

So fast that its Wed night again.  2 more days to go and its weekend liao.  Really really very fast.  2 more days, I will complete my 2 months in this new company.  

Overwhelmed

Morning meeting.  Early afternoon training.  Evening too overwhelmed by new role.  

Aiyoh.... enq kept coming in from Europe offices and worked till 11pm still not stop.  Decided to clear some of the fixed deals paperwork and left office at 11.45pm.  

2nd time to stay so late.  Hope not everyday like that uh.  My boss finally saw me and my another colleague cannot cope liao and said will try to reshuffle some paperwork stuff to another person.  But... say only lah.  Need time to adjust.  Just said to make us feel better.  

New task

So fast... the day passed so fast...

Simply do not know what I did today and it just ended.  :P

Was given a new role today and need to get involved in the day to day quoting.  Moreover, taking the European accounts.    I can't say "NO"!

Hope I can cope with it.  Already have no time and now with added task, do not know how many days more to have late nights.  Just pray hard all will go smoothly.  Tough now as its the beginning but hope better days will come soon.  :)

zzzzzz

This morning, woke up at 12noon.  My alarm clock rang at 10am but I went back to sleep.

The zzz bugs still there.

Entertained my niece this afternoon and hence did not have time to watch j dramas.  Back home early tonight hence shall continue to watch.  Hope I can clear more outstanding epi.

So fast... tomorrow is Monday again.

Nice sky.  Not many chance to see this at home.  :)

Too tired

I was so tired that I woke up at 11am today.  Had asked my sister to inform my parents not to call me in the morning as I need more sleep.  We were not going out today hence I can do my housework slowly and crawled to Pasir Ris.  Hee Hee.

Did not feel like going out to eat and we decided to order KFC delivery.  Laziness...

I lazed around and just managed to watch few epi of J dramas.  My eyes are closing now and simply cannot open wide.  Guess I need to sleep earlier tonight.

Dinner at The Star Vista

This evening, we decided to skip movie as the timings were not good.  It was either too early or too late.  Therefore, we will just meet for dinner.

Originally, we intended to find a place at HarbourFront which is our usual meeting place.  However, we changed to The Star Vista so that Ah Thin can join us for dessert time.

I took train direct for Nicoll Highway station to Buona Vista.  Zoomed out from office at 6.27pm and reached The Star Vista at 7.20pm.  Rather smooth travelling and I managed to get a seat from Mountbatten.  At least no need to stand all the way.

小珠 queued for a table first at Watami and just nice when I reached, we can order the food.  As usual, we ordered the few dishes we always ordered.  The food tasted good and we enjoyed the food while chit chatting.  Ah Thin joined us at around 8.30pm and we had desserts at Black Ball.  I was craving for it as there is no chance for me to try as usually the shop was very packed.  Even at the Bugis+ branch, it is always very packed.

We chit chatted until 10.30pm and went home.

I am happy today as this weekend will be more relax.  Not too much work to follow up.  :)

A little more relax

Today, I finally had time to relax a little bit.  Not many deliveries hence ops part more relaxing.

Had time to do those little little things that I had no time to care about for the past few days.  Felt happier to clear them.

Weather was cooling today with rain.  How I wish night time can rain so that I can have a cold cold sleep.

Lazy to wash toilets today.  Shall do some simple washing these 2 days.

Sotong

This afternoon, we went to Old Airport Road for lunch.  My boss drove hence Ah Cheng need not drive.  She passed her car key to me for safe keeping.

Had a very good hawker food lunch.  I still prefer hawker than foodcourt food.  However, sad that I still cannot have a chance to try the famous Lor Mee.  Went there yesterday and today but it was sold out.  Business too good liao.

Happy that I managed to leave office at 8.30pm.  My colleague gave me a lift and I could reach home by 9pm.  Washed my laundry and also changed my bedsheets.  Forgot to wash and this is already the 3rd week liao.  

Then I got a call from Ah Cheng.  She asked me if I am holding her car key.  Oh dear!!! I forgot to pass it back to her and just brought home happily.  In the end, she will ask her hubby if he can pick her and Aunty Tan.  I told her to take cab home if she did not want to wait.  So paisei ah.  Big sotong!

Sleepy

Feel very sleepy today uh.

Full concentrated on my paperwork this afternoon and it made my eyes tired.

How I wish today is Saturday uh.  Hahaha..  Dreaming again...

Found it

Yippy!!!  I finally found my rings!

It was on my bed lah.  Strange that after 2 days of sleeping on them, they were still intact together.  Ha ha.  At least no need to waste money to buy replacements.

Good weather today.  Very cooling.  How I wish every morning is so cooling, the afternoon warm (so that clothes can dry) and evening/night time cooling again (can sleep cozy cozy).

Again... my wishful thinking.  :P

Rings

My niece stayed at my parents house for a few hours while my sister accompanied my parents to settle some matter.  We need to send our grandparents tablets to the temple.

This niece of mine, wanted to watch ghost movie and yet need me to accompany her.  In the end, we watched and with eyes half closed.  Hahaha.

They left early as need to send off their relatives.  Hence, I need to take bus back home myself.

Reached home and finished the sweeping and mopping.  Suddenly, I realised that my pinky rings are no where seen.  Searched the whole house and still cannot find.  OMG!! Where are they???

I asked my sister to help to check if I left it at Pasir Ris home.  However, I did not think I wear it on Saturday.

Where where where???  Hope I can find them soon.

Shopping

Today, we spent the whole afternoon looking for toilet accessories and lighting for my sis new house.

We met at Balestier Road.  Went for lunch first and we had ba kut teh.

The contractor introduced one shop to my sister and we went to have a look.  Felt that they were so "high class" that service was not so good.  Served us halfway and went to another customer.  We decided to drop this shop and looked for lighting first.

Went to Chan Huat and got all the items we wanted.  Except there was no stock for KDK 44" 3 blade fan and we need to search for it.  Heard that KDK stopped producing this model and we need to find store that still keep stock.  After that, we took a cab to Hoe Kee at Genting Road.

We were welcomed by the staff and were introduced to those recommended brand/items.  Their service is still one of the best.  Settled all the Kitchen and toilet accessories.  At least completed our shopping list.

Had dinner at NEX Sushi Tei and went home.  Rather tired after walking and standing during the whole afternoon.  My dad eyes were closing....  Hahaha.

Good movie

TGIF!!!

The day passed very fast today.  Had lunch with supplier and followed by customer visit at 3pm.  The customer visit was to accompanied my colleague to see a long long customer of ours.  I am not doing sales now but its good to continue staying in contact with customers close to me previously.

Managed to leave office on time at 6.30pm.  Initially wanted to take bus to HarbourFront but changed to MRT after knowing I had to wait for at least 18mins.

Reached HarbourFront rather early today at about 7.05pm as the train ride was smooth.  We ate at Burger King and only realised that I actually had coupons that can save some money.  So sad....

We watched "Pacific Rim" at 8.40pm.  Although in the beginning, I did not concentrate fully due to the need to respond to some sms so that I can continue the movie without disruption.  Managed to catch up and enjoyed the movie.  I like this movie and its storyline.  Very thrilling.  :P

Rain

It rained in the afternoon today.  Finally cooled down the temperature.  Felt so good to have a cooling day but office was a but cold...

Rather hungry when I reached home hence opened up a packet of crackers to munch.  :P

Finally its Friday tomorrow.  Go for movie as usual.

Saturday will be a busy day as I am accompanying my sister to look for lighting and toilet accessories.  Guess need to wake up early bah.

Mid week liao

So fast, its already mid week.  Looking forward to Friday.

Had cup noodles for lunch today.  My lunch kakis all having appointments.  Initially wanted to go and tabao back but too lazy.  Hence stayed in office and eat free cup noodles.  Followed by fruits which company ordered everyday.

Managed to clear my paperwork tonight.  Stayed late again but happy that my desk is not so messy with papers.  :P

Powerpoint

Bad bad bad....  I used almost 90mins to complete one organisation chart.  Took that long as 1) system very slow as our programs are all stored in citrix which link to UK server, 2) too long never do liao, 3) boss asked me to do fast which I did even slower.  Hahaha...  Must brush up my skill.

It rained during midnight and when I woke up, I felt the air so cooling.  How I wish I can continue to sleep.

Met up with my ex colleague for lunch.  She travelled from Suntec City.  So happy to hear that she is pregnant.  I was asking her if there is any good news after her wedding last December and she told me yes ah.  Its in Nov...  OMG!  She is in her 5th month pregnancy and I did not notice.  I just thought she put on some weight.  Her tummy still not too obvious.

We had lunch and chit chatted a while before she took train back to work.  Next time, will be my turn to travel there to meet her liao.

Mood better liao

Last night, I was very very very angry on some ops issues.  I was not kept updated of the problems and when I got to know, it became a very big issue.  Due to this, my BP shot up to 148.  This was with medication.  If I am not taking medicine, it cld be 160 liao.

Back to office to clear the problems.  No choice to keep all customers happy hence had to sacrifice one.  Really a bad night yesterday.

I try to simmer down in order not to have high BP.  Else, not worth it lah.

The day passed peacefully finally.  Back home a little bit late as I decided to stay back to clear paperwork.  At least now, my backlogs are cleared.  :)

Sunday time

Its Sunday again... so sad.

Woke up and got ready to wait for my father and sister to come to my house.  We meeting here before going over to my sis new house.  The electrician needed to meet up to plan the positions of the switches etc.

My elder sister asked where were we and picked us up to Pasir Ris home.  Free ride lei.

My niece now carrying Samsung Note 1.  Its passed down from her cousin.  We suan her whey Samsung.  She always say Iphone is no 1.  Hahaha.

She played with her phone and saw my phone theme very nice.  Quickly asked me how to download.  Hahaha.

Back home and going to watch one Jap movie that I downloaded few days ago.

Not looking forward for tomorrow.....  A lot of problems coming up on ops matters...  

New house toy

Stayed at home today.  Original plan was to meet up for dinner tonight but due to Tulip's unwell of her stomach, we decided to postpone till end of the month.

Since I have whole day at home, I decided to do a more detailed house cleaning.  Apart from my routine cleaning on every Saturday, I also duster my whole house.  Also clean all the exterior of my kitchen cabinets.  Finished by 2.45pm.

I did not have breakfast and lunch hence decided to order KFC delivery.  Had it as my breakfast/lunch/dinner.

At 4.45pm, my new toy was delivered.  It is my clothes hanger.  I find it lighweight and useful.  So tempted to buy another one.  One for hanging in the kitchen and one for hanging ironing clothes.  But... think not lah.  No space in my study room.  In future, my brother will occupy the room liao.

The hanger makes my kitchen looks nicer without the bamboo stick.

TGIF!!!!

This evening, met up with 小珠 for dinner first before we went for our movie session at 8.10pm.

I decided to take bus from office to HarbourFront.  Luckily need not wait too long for the bus and I managed to reach HarbourFront at 7.30pm.  We had dinner at Food Republic and headed to the cinema timely.

We watched "Despicable Me 2" in 3D.  Quite some time we did not watch movie in 3D.  We like this movie and did not mind paying extra for the effects.  The movie was fun and the minions were so cute.  Did not know what they were mumbling but it was just so cute.  The ending part 3D effect was very good.  Really felt like the minions were coming out from the screen.  Thumbs up for the effects.

Tomorrow we are meeting again at Millenia Walk.  Having dinner with Tulip and Ah Huang.  It's to celebrate Tulip's belated birthday.

Have to stay late tonight as there is one urgent order and need to co-ordinate.  

Its Thursday

Yippy!!! Its Thursday liao.  So fast.

I decided to stay late tonight to finish what's outstanding and tomorrow going to focus on digging past records to tackle few cases.  Will skip toilet washing tonight. Perhaps will do a simple and fast one on Saturday.

Nothing much happened today.  Finally it rained at around 11pm.  However, stopped rather fast.  Chey... thought can have a cool cool night to sleep.

Its better today

Finally... today I managed to slow down my pace and did my work without much stress.  I managed to clear most of my backlogs.  Left those very sticky issues that need time to clear.

Had late lunch today at almost 2pm.  We went to a small coffee shop at Keypoint for lunch.  We ordered a few dishes to share and the food was not too bad.  Prices were reasonable too.  $33 for 5 of us.  Its not Sze Char.  Its just a rice with dishes stall.

After lunch, we had tea time before going back to office.  Left late today too but glad that my colleague could send me home again.

Back home and just swept the floor without mopping.  Too tired liao.  Washed my 1 week load of clothes.  Looking forward to my new clothes hanger that will be delivered on this Sat.  Saw the promotion at OG last Sat and decided to order 2.  One for myself and another for my sister's new house.  It is not cheap but I think it is sturdy and I will be able to use it for either during ironing or drying my clothes.

Cannot finish

Still unable to finish my backlogs.  Oh dear!!! What happened?  Am I too slow???

Feeling better today as perhaps its because there was no morning meeting and hence had more time to clear my work.

Finally able to have lunch at Golden Mile market.  I ate the Yong Tau Fu again....  :P

My colleague sent me home tonight however... I was not early.  I left office at 11pm!!!  Looks like the few of us who moved from ex co are working real hard again.

Tired

Today is the most busiest day from the time I started work.

I went to work purposely earlier than usual as I wanted to clear my monthend closing asap.  However, disaster when I reached office.  We had a minor office move over the weekend and our area lan connection was not working.  In the end, I cannot do my closing and paperwork for the whole morning. Had meeting at 11.30 to 2.30pm.  By the time back at my desk, lucky that I could switch on my pc to work but bad thing was, I had piled up my work.

Rushed to clear as much as possible.  Stayed late till 10.15pm to clear my backlogs.  Still have a lot to go and will have to continue tomorrow.  Some paperwork are brought forward since last week.  One of our application was down on last Thurs and I could not finish the backlogs on Friday.  Last Friday also another busy day....

 Hope tomorrow can have time to clear all...
