Ordinary Sunday

Its Easter day today.  No eggs for me????

My niece came and she pestered me to watch horror movie.  I tried to search and found a few.  We watched the first one which was Japanese movie and she began to feel bored.  It was not so scary.  In the end, she did not continue and left myself watching.  Its really boring but I just watched lor.

I spent the day without doing much.  Its another ordinary Sunday.  It rained in the afternoon but the temperature does not cool down at all.  I bathed in cold water to cool myself but as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, I found myself in a sauna room....

Hope weather turns better and not to be so hot. 

Its last day of March.  Tomorrow is another new month.  13 more days to go and I will be flying to Osaka.  :)

Shopping

Went back to my house this afternoon as my sister met up with my aunt and her new house owner's agent to do some documentation near my block.  I waited at home for them.

Next, my uncle gave us a lift to Bishan station and we took train to meet up with my mum.  We had lunch at Ion's Food Republic before going to Isetan.  My purpose of going there was to go to the Kyushu fair to buy 大福.  I bought a piece with strawberry.  It was a bit different from what I ate in Tokyo.  In Tokyo, the strawberry was wrapped inside.

 











We went to the household dept to look for knife.  My mum accidentally threw away her knife hence needed to get one new one.  We walked around but could not find suitable one.  Decided to go to Robinson as I bought mine from there.  There was a section that sells different brands and we can choose from there.

Reached Centrepoint Robinson and went to the household dept.  Walked one round and could not find the section that I used to buy my knife.  I think there was a revamp and they changed the section to sell electrical appliances.  There only left about 5 brands of knives to choose.  Finally my mum decided on one of them and there was 20% discount.

My sister also bought some little kitchenware for her new house and a new iron which is exactly the same as what I am using at home.  The one my mum is using needs to be changed.  She used those plastic tapes to wrap the worn out wire.  We find it too dangerous.

I bought one Silicone mini slotted turner.  Striking pink drawn my attention and also the size is just nice for me to use it to flip food cooked using my pot.  My current turner was too big and it is difficult to do flipping.  It costs $18.90 but having 20% disc.  Our purchase today was without GST.  7% GST is absorbed by Robinson till 31 Mar for all items.

Early

This morning, I woke at at 8 am.  Super early for me as I had to sweep and mop floor before 10am.  My dad picked me up at 10 plus to have breakfast at Redhill hawker centre. 

I managed to complete everything before he came.  Reached the hawker centre at about 11am.  I missed the Yong Tau Fu hence wanted to eat today.  In the end, all 4 of us bought from this store.  It was so cheap until I chose about 8 pcs.  My parents didn't even count the no of pieces.  They just selected whatever they liked.  My sister heard I said cheap and she also chose quite a lot.  Hers cost $5+ and told me not cheap lei.  I told her to count her items and it was considered very cheap liao.  If in Food Court, that bowl of us would have cost $10+ liao.

After breakfast, we asked our dad to drive to Glacier confectionery shop.  We bought the popular Kueh Dah Dah and few of other items.  Also bought some bread and pastries from Tiong Bahru pastry shop.  These were be our snacks for tea break.  In the end, we could not finish the bread and pastries hence keeping as breakfast for tomorrow.  The kuehs all eaten while they were fresh.  My mum likes it.

Stayed at home watching TV programs and I started to watch 邻家美人 as I had finished watching 沙希 which is the earlier part of 邻家美人.  I just want to know what happened after 沙希 left her brother and married with a child.  Half way through and it is good so far.  Shall continue to watch.

Today is Good Friday holiday.  Really a good Friday for me.  :)

Chit chat session

Woke up earlier today and did some minor cleaning.  Tomorrow going out of the house early to have breakfast with my parents hence not much time to do all at same time.

As tomorrow is holiday, we planned to have the weekly lunch meet up today.  Venue was at Maxwell market.  I had fish bee hoon soup.  Very nice.

The weather was so hot that we changed seats to have desserts in another cooler area.  To my surprise, 小珠 also ordered dessert.  She must be feeling very hot...  Hahaha.

We had wonderful time chit chatting again.  6 women talked and talked non-stop.  We left at 3pm as I need to go for my haircut appointment at 3.30pm and Ah Cheng needed to go for Qing Ming praying.  Shall continue our gossiping next week.

I was late by 5 mins but today, my haircut completed in one hour time.  This made me had some time to shop around.  I zoomed in to Daiso and managed to buy few packets of my favourite spicy crackers from Japan.  Hardly have stock so I bought 6 pkts.  2 to keep at home.  2 to bring over to my parents place and 2 for my niece.  She likes it too.

Took train to HarbourFront and collected movie tickets before I went to Tangs to update my mailing address.  The newsletters still being sent to my old address.  Met up with 小珠 and I suggested to have dinner at Texas Chicken.  The chicken not bad.  Not oily and they were tender.

Watched movie "Snitch" at 7.40pm.  We were on time today.  The story was quite good and some parts were rather exciting.

I went to NTUC Fairprice to get kitchen towels and walked home from NEX.  Felt like I walking as my stomach still very full.

Oh yah... Forgot to mention that I was so unlucky yesterday (today then know).  I realised I stepped onto dog's poo yesterday during the evening walk.  Those dogs owners really not considerate.  Let their dogs pooed everywhere.  I intended to keep my shoes into the cupboard but smelt some funny smell.  Turned over and saw the poo uh!!!!  OMG!!!  I hate to clean the mess.  So smelly and had to dig them out from the holes on the shoe sole.  YUCKS!!!!

Busy due to silliness

This afternoon, met up with 小珠 and went to Ion for lunch.  We had Yong Tau Fu at Food Republic and after lunch, went to JTB to buy the Japan passes.

We need JR Kansai area pass and Kansai Thru pass.  However, The KTP run out of stock and we have to check again in early April.  If still no stock, we will have to buy in Osaka.  The processing was rather fast.

Instead of taking bus, we took trains back.  We changed at Dhoby Gaut and HarbourFront station in order to reach Labrador Park station.  I could take train straight home from Dhoby Gaut but I decided to accompany 小珠 as I did not want to go back so early.  If too early, I will be lazy to go for evening walk after resting at home.

Hence, I went to NEX for a walk.  Wanted to buy a Happycall pot but there was no stock and looked like there is no offer price.  Shall try again.  Went to NTUC Fairprice to get lemons, detergent, bleach and cleaning product before going home.

Reached home at 4.40pm and was just nice to pack the items I bought and changed for the walk at 5pm.  However, disaster came.

I placed the groceries on my table top and kept the lemons in my fridge.  Heard a "pop" and water dripping sound.  OMG!!!!  The cleaning lotion spilled all over my table and floor.  It contained powerful substances as it is for removing stubborn stains and mold.

I quickly use cloth and paper towels to clean it.  However, was too late liao.  By the time I finished cleaning, there was uneven patches on the table top.  Some portions are now too white liao.  Silly of me to make such a blunder.  I should place the items properly instead of making it fell.  The cap was not tight hence liquid all spill out.  Used 30 mins to clear the mess.  

Went for the walk as planned but slightly late.  My sister told me to do some warming up prior the walk so that I will not feel the tightness and pain on my ankle and leg during the walk.  It really worked.  I did not feel the pain while walking today and felt so relaxing in my walk.  Usually I will feel that I am dragging my legs to move but today no such feeling.  :)

Whole bottle left just 2cm liquid after the disaster.  There goes my money.

New game

Today, I decided to install the game "4 Pics 1 Word".  My niece and sister are playing and I think it is quite a nice game.  However, some of the words were difficult to guess and I had to ask for help.  Just created a new group in what's apps as "4 Pics 1 Word SOS".  :P

Progress

Finally, I managed to clear the stubborn stage of Candy Crush Saga and now reached level 200.  Certain stages were so difficult to clear and made me wasted so many lives.  At least can progress up.

Did nothing today.  Just playing games and watched a few J drama epi.

Enjoyed Haagen Dazs ice-cream that my dad bought yesterday.  My dad now beginning to know our taste liao.  Last time he always bought flavours that we did not like.  Nowadays, he just need to choose those packaging with chocolate colour sure not wrong.  Hahaha.

Quiet

Its Sunday.  Weather was still hot and it rained in the afternoon.  However, it did not bring down the temperature uh.

My elder sister text us that she won't be coming over as my bro-in-law needed to get a replacement phone as his phone was pickpocketed in JB yesterday.  He very unlucky.  It was the second time he lost phone liao.  My younger sister said maybe he purposely one so as to get new phone.  Hahaha.

Without my niece around, the house was so quiet.  My mum actually bought extra otah for my niece but she was not here to eat.  I took a few pieces and I think my stomach cannot take too spicy food nowadays.  Went to toilet for 3 times today.  I actually cut down on spicy food.  Especially those blended chilli pastes as they are usually oily and salty too.

Did not drink a lot of water today.  Must do so tomorrow.  I have to maintain drinking a lot of water daily.  :)

Dim sum

Met up with my sis and mum at Chinatown station as we decided to have Dim sum for lunch.  Went to Yum Cha restaurant and it was rather crowded.  Managed to get a table pretty soon and started to order food.  As there was a cart near us, we just took whatever looked nice.  Ate quite a lot and felt so satisfied.  The quality was not bad.

Next we went to OG to buy disposable panties.  I went there to survey the price yesterday and found that with the current 20% disc, it was cheaper than the Fairprice's price.  I bought 5 pkts (for both Japan and Korea trips).  My sis bought 4 pkts (for both Korea and her Hong Kong trip).  My mum bought 1 pkt.  We bought 1 pkt for me dad and 2 pkts for my brother.  The counter was full of disposable panties when we made payment.  The cashier must be laughing at the scene.  Haha...

We wanted to buy an electric kettle as my mum said the one at home is rusty near the cover of the kettle.  My mum previously did not want to "accept" kettle made of plastic.  We persuaded her that the one I have at home is very good.  It is not too heavy and boiling is fast.  In the end, she said ok and we went to Takashimaya to buy.  My sis used her vouchers to pay for it.  No discount and costs $69.90.  Same as the one I have.  I am glad that I got mine at a much cheaper price when Tefal having the warehouse fair about 1 1/2 years ago.

The lunch was too heavy and our stomach were still very full in the evening.  Decided to buy some snacks back as dinner.  Just got a packet of rice for my dad. 

Walked quite a lot today and our legs were so tired when we got home.  Happy to sit down finally.

Mentioned about my idols yesterday with 小珠 during dinner and hor... I dreamt of Haruma last night uh.  I too engrossed liao.  Hee hee.

Enjoyable day

Had our usual lunch gathering at Vivocity.  Initially, we wanted to go to for Ajisen Ramen but there was no table available for 7 pax hence we changed to Crystal Jade Jiang nan.  

We ordered a bowl of noodles each and shared a plate of rice cake and a set of xiao long bao.  I was happy with the wantan noodles I ordered but Ah Xue could not swallow her super oily dan dan mian.  I asked her to follow us in future as it was not her first time of wrong ordering.  Hee hee. 

We chit chatted until 3.10pm and left quickly.  I think one week we accumulate too much things to talk liao.  The girls were very late to go back to office.  Hope no one spotted them...

I went to The Central to see Dr Leow.  My med is finishing and needs to replenish.  Also brought my BP machine for "callibration".  I need to continue my walking as a form of exercising.  Dr said it will help to improve my BP readings and also lower down my bad cholesterol.  I really must be discipline. Cannot walk everyday hence at least strives for twice a week.  Jia You!!!

Since it was still early, I decided to take train to Chinatown since only one stop away.  Went to OG and bought 3 Giodano dry tee.  I need T shirts for my walking.  The tees are for men but its ok for me since its plain.  

Met up with 小珠 at around 7pm and had dinner at LJS.  We were lucky to find a table.  School holidays this week and Vivocity was full of people.  

We watched movie "The Croods" at 7.40pm.  Wow... this was a very nice movie.  Very nice and cute.  We kept on laughing non stop.  Children enjoyed the movie too as we could hear many of them laughing out loud.  I must ask my elder sister to bring my niece to watch.  She will sure like it.

An enjoyable day today.  :)

Same same except colour

No rain again today.

Done toilet cleaning and since not much time taken for housework, I managed to watch quite a few epi of J dramas.

Evening, went for 30 mins walk and prepared for dinner.  Today's dinner was almost the same as yesterday except change of colour.  Yesterday was miso soup.  Today was korean chilli paste soup.  Hahaha.

Watched Channel U drama at 8pm "Marry Me".  I quite like the story line so follows the show since last week.  Did not see the earlier epi but its ok since I can still follow the story.

Just watched the last epi of 鸢(2013).  For the last few epi, it always made me cry.  The stories are so touching.  Last epi also made me cry on a few scenes.  I really admire the person creating this story and really hope more people could watch this drama as it is really very educating.  Initially I watched because of Takeru but ultimately, I like his father.  :P

Today is Takeru's birthday.  Happy Birthday!!!

Very hot day

Today, the sun was so hot until I got perspired while hanging out clothes for 10 mins.  When will the cool day comes???

Had instant noodles for lunch.  Need to clear this packet as its expiring date was pretty soon.

Watched J dramas in the afternoon and went for a walk in the evening at 5.15 pm.  The weather was very hot and was still sunny.  I just walked in slow pace as I could not tahan the heat.

Back home to sweep and mop floor.  After bathing, started to prepare for dinner.  Not cooking any rice, porridge or bee hoon.  Just a pot of seafood with light miso soup.  First time cooking with miso and I just added a small spoonful to just let the soup had some taste.  Turned out quite ok lah.  Had blood orange as desserts.

Nice sunset again.  This can only be seen when its not cloudy.

Kyushu fair

This afternoon, had lunch with my mum and bro at White Sands Mall.  Went to Fairprice to buy some veg, fish balls, meat balls and Yong Tau Fu for Wed and Thur dinner.  Bought bread for Wed and Thur breakfast too.  I too kiasu to buy all at the same time.

I went to Orchard for my face treatment.  Timing just nice for me to reach there by 2pm and with just a little while of waiting, I completed my treatment.  Went to Takashimaya for a short walk but found nothing much to see.  Recalled that my sister mentioned that there is Kyushu fair and I believe it was at Isetan.  Hence, walked over to have a look before heading back home.

Wrong decision to go there.  I ended up buying food...  Bought Mochi, sweet potatoes and mini pancakes.  There were a lot to buy but I managed to restrain myself.  Phew...

My mum so happy to see those things I bought and ate them happily.  My father came home and ate them too as he was hungry.  That made me feel not so guilty.  Hahaha.

So fast, tomorrow is Wed.

Bus no 53 is not lucky today.  I did not manage to clear level 184 which I cannot clear for 2 days liao.  Shall try harder...

Surprise!

Woke up and found my phone prompting if to reboot due to system update.  Updates are to keep my phone updated so of course I selected yes to proceed. 

After the updating process completed, I found like no change to my phone hence just went to the setting option to check if the andriod version had changed.  I had given up waiting for the updates for 4.2.1 version as read from the website that Google did not plan to send software update for Samsung Nexus (my phone model).

It was a surprise to see that my phone has been upgraded to 4.2.1.  Oh so happy uh!!!  Initially still thought that I get a Google phone is to get benefit of to be first to upgrade for any new andriod software but the news I read earlier made me gave up.  Did not know why there is this sudden upgrading but I am happy to have it.  :P

Tomorrow going for my 3rd session of Horis treatment for my face.  Hope by the 10th session, my skin will no longer have the stubborn freckles.

Hot Warm Hot

Terrible day again.  The weather is so hot.  Although it rained a while in the afternoon, it did not help to lower the temperature at all.  It became worst.

I am missing those days of cool air.

Heard bad news that Japan cherry blossom is earlier by 10 days.  Oh dear!!!  I do not want to miss hanami when I visit Kansai area next month.  Weather weather please please slow down a bit hor....

Lots of walking

Today, my legs "overworked" liao.  Walked too much liao and cannot tahan...

Had lunch with my sis and mum at NEX.  Suggested to go to Laksania as I still had 1 voucher that needed to utilise by end of March.  We ordered our main course and added a side dish in order to make it above $32 (voucher value).  I ordered Singapore Laksa again.  2 times there and ordered same food.  The only difference was : I did not finish the soup.  Haha...  My mum ordered Penang Laksa and my sister ordered Laksa goreng.  Not bad uh.

We did not have anything to buy in mind hence decided to take 81 to Pasir Ris and walked to Ikea Tampinese and Mega Courts.  The sun was so hot until we had to take out our "weapons" which were our umbrellas.  3 aunties walking under the hot sun and the distance was rather far from the bus stop we alighted.

Went to Ikea and walked around to have some ideas for my sister's new house design.  We walked for at least one hour and went to the cafe for drinks and chicken wings.  So crowded even at just 3.30pm.  Continued to walk for around one hour.  I bought a storage bag to keep my winter clothes.  It is big and I can store it at upper shelf of my cupboard.  Just that it does not come with a base and I may need to find a cardboard to serve as a base in order to let my clothes lay on it nicely.

Next, we walked over to Courts.  Aiyoh...  no shelter and we had to walk under the hot sun again.  I think the temperature today could have reach 36 deg uh.  My skin burning uh!

We walked for about 1 hour + and decided to go back.  Too tiring liao.  We wanted to take the free shuttle bus to Pasir Ris interchange but the frequency was every 45 mins.  Uncertained if we can squeeze up the bus or not.  After some consideration, we decided to walk to the bus stop across the expressway to take a bus home.

We walked quite a long distance again and climbed a super high bridge across the expressway.  I think my few walkings at the park helped and I did not feel as hectic as last time when climbing up staircases.  The weather was still hot...

Finally we walked to a small road among those HDB flats.  We recalled we could take a feeder bus that we can alight at bus stop near our house.  While trying to figure our which bus stop, my mum suddenly said "eee 359 stopped at that bus stop leh".  I saw the bus and asked my mum why didn't she quickly run towards the bus stop to catch the bus leh???  While talking, we ran and stopped the bus.  My mum so funny leh... Still talked casually where we actually needed to catch the bus to avoid a long wait for the next bus.

After so many hours of walking, we were so tired when we reached home.  Sat on the sofa and simply did not want to get up to bath.  Dragged myself to bath after my sister.  My father also lazy to go to the nearby central to buy dinner and we ordered pizza instead.  Real tired....  Old liao???

Movie time

Finally its Friday.

Met up with 小珠, Ah Xue and Ah Fen for lunch.  Ah Yong, Ah Huang and Ah Cheng all cannot make it this week.  We had lunch at Local + and went to Burger King to have some desserts.  I shared chocolate sundae with Ah Xue.  Had to pay additional 50 cents just for extra toppings.  So expensive but had to pay for it since I need more chocolate sauce else will be too milky.

The rest went back to work and I took a train to Vivocity.  Shopped at Tangs, Uniqlo, Franc Franc, Daiso and Giant.  I bought one striking yellow cardholder to replace the one I had which was worn out.  Bought some containers at Daiso to keep some items in my fridge.  Time passed and I met up with 小珠 for movie.

We watched "Oz The Great and Powerful at 7.10pm.  We bought some sushi for dinner.  The movie was good and very entertaining.  As I could not remember the real story of The Wizard of Oz, I gladly accepted the whole story of this movie.  A bit disappointed on myself for not remembering childhood books stories.  This is not the first time liao.

Saw this at Daiso.  Looks like Japanese likes 小花 a lot.  No wonder I so like Japan...

Finally can watch

Finally I managed to catch up with the few new epi of J dramas.  Was unable to access to Qire123 since yesterday.  My laptop had connection problem and initially I thought it was my laptop problem but ultimately, checked with 小珠 and she said she had the same problem.

小珠 told me that the website link had changed and that was why we could not access.  So happy that I can continue to watch the J dramas.

Raining this evening hence unable to go for a walk.  Had cook soup with fish, fishballs, prawns and vegetables.  Need to finish up these food by today as I will not be cooking at home until next Wed.  Heated up some wantan tabao from Tue dinner at my parents place.  Very filling uh.

The air was no good.  Smelt foul smell at around 11pm and I closed all my windows.  On the aircon so that I need not inhale that smell.  Do not know where the smell comes from.

My younger sister just confirmed her purchase of the unit near my house hence, in future I can go over to her house for dinner if my parents agreed to move with her.  She said now she is even higher than me...  Mine 6th floor.  Hers 12th floor.

Cooking at home

This afternoon, I had prata with curry for my lunch.  Instant Japanese curry where I just need to boil the pouch for 3-5 mins to make it hot.  Instant prata that just need to put frozen piece of it onto pre-heat pan without oil.  Easy lei....  But cannot eat too often.  Very fattening...

Washed my clothes and hanged outside.  The weather was good in the afternoon but turned dark at around 4pm.  I decided to bring the clothes in to prevent getting wet with sudden rain.

I proceeded with my plan to go for a walk at 5pm.  However, I managed to walk for 2 fast rounds and 1 slow one before it rained.  My legs a bit aching so did not walk the third round with fast pace.  Have to train myself from walking faster...  Overall, still satisfied with a bit of walking before my dinner.

Back home and did sweeping & mopping before bathing.  Nice sunset with clear sky after the rain.

Started to cook my dinner at around 6.30pm.  I bought organic brown rice bee hoon last week and decided to cook it tonight.  Just took a small bunch of it and cooked with fresh fish slices, scallops, veg, fishballs and Japanese fishcakes.  The Japanese fishcakes are those bought from Tokyo in Jan.  Going to expire in April so better finish it fast.

My dinner looks yummy with plenty of ingredients.  Just added a pinch of salt and it tasted sweet from the ingredients.

Had some fruits one hour after the soup bee hoon.

Lucky 53

Went to White Sands Mall with my mum and bro this afternoon for lunch.  We went to Old Town White Coffee cafe and I ordered their Supreme Nasi Lemak.  Tasted quite good but still find it very expensive.  One plate cost $8 plus.

Back home and surfed net plus played Candy Crush Saga.  Was stucked at stage 179 for 2 days...  

Stayed at Pasir Ris till 8.45pm and took bus 53 to my house.  Magic uh!!!!  I played Candy Crush Saga during the trip and cleared stage 179 on my 3rd tries in the bus.  Lucky 53 uh!!!!  So happy that I can continue to play liao.  So disheartened when I stucked at stage 179 for so long and told myself how to create 2 disco balls with so many chocolate monsters.

My mum bought some veg, fresh fish and fishballs for me to cook for my meals on Wed and Thur.  Also packed some strawberries and oranges.  I like just went to the market and carry groceries home.  :P

Finally completed

Its Monday again.  Slept late last night hence woke up at 10am this morning.

Did nothing but my itinerary.  Had just completed the homework.

So happy....

House viewing

This afternoon, my niece came and just nice, my aunt arranged one unit to be viewed this afternoon.  My bro-in-law sent us there and reached my house area at around 4pm.  It was raining very heavily.

The unit we viewed was near my house block and its top floor unit.  It rained hence we could actually see if the rain water will splashed into the unit or not.  We were the first to view the unit as it has just been released out and valuation of the unit yet to be completed.

My younger sis is fine with this unit as long as price is reasonable.  My aunt trying to persuade the co-agent to persuade owner to sell without waiting for the valuation to be out.  Shall see how it goes. 

The owner is Indian Catholic family hence the house is well maintained and no "smell".  A family of 3 and is waiting for their new house from HDB.  The only thing we have to consider is we noticed that the unit (2 units away) which is near the lift had paint on the door and floor.  We asked this owner and he said that the loanshark did that 6 mths ago.  According to the owner staying in that unit (Single woman), it was from the ex-owner that sold the unit to her 2 1/2 years ago.  Heard that the loan shark was arrested.  Do not know how much is the truth and shall really see how it goes.

Contined to do homework for next month trip itinerary.  3/4 completed and should be able to finish by tomorrow.  Need to calculate transportation cost to decide the best option on passes puchase.

Foodie day

Met up with my sis and mum at Plaza Singapura new atrium and had lunch at Hoshino Coffee shop.  This place is always long queue and it is actually worth queuing as the food is very nice.  We ordered a few dishes + desserts for sharing.  Yummy!

Next, we took train to Bay Front station.  Went to MBS Expo hall for the IT show.  My sister wanted to get a new laptop.  It was so crowded and my sister just zoomed in to Asus counter and got her laptop within 30mins.  Initially, she wanted to go to Samsung booth but we were not sure on Samsung's pc performance, we decided to try Asus.  We managed to bid for our target price of $1200.  Price was $1298 with full Microsoft office software.  The fun part was I could participate on the negotiation.  The boss said best was $1210 which was cut $20 from $1230.  I told him our target was $1200 and it was just $10 difference and it was a deal.  He then said ok lah....  Haha...

We were thirsty and got away from MBS to Millenia Walk's O'Coffee Club.  I need to spend min $10 to renew my membership card.  Had some drinks and went home to meet my father for dinner.

Decided to have dinner at T3 Itacho and we had queued almost 45mins to get a seat.  Ordered the 2 premium sets for sharing.  What a foodie day today.... 

Aching

Woke up early at 8am and left at 9.45am for massage session.  Ah Huang asked me last week whether I was interested to accompany her to a massage session.  I did not mind going as my back was so stiff and a massage would be good to "soften" it.

The masseur I had did have some knowledge on chinese therapy.  She told me that my whole body was very stiff and "clogged".  Hence she tried to focus more on those areas.  Some parts were pain but she said that she needed to 打散 for me.  I tried my best to bear with the pain.  After the session, I felt my body is "lighter".

Met up with the rest at The Star.  We had lunch at The Manhattan Fish Market.  I ordered the lunch promo and had Spicy seafood pasta.  It was delicious.  We chit chat for almost 2 hours plus.  A good time to catch up.  Shall meet again next week.

So sad that today cannot watch movie.  Next week, will try to log in as early as possible to get good seats.  :(((

Went for walking session at 5.30pm.  The sky was quite gloomy and I was so afraid that it would rain.  Luckily, no rain....  I walked for 4 rounds (quick) and 2 rounds of strolling.  Total 2.4 km today.  Now my legs are so aching...

Today marked as the first day

Supposed to wake up at 9am but lazed until 10am.  Supposed to go to NEX to buy groceries and lunch but did not go until 4.30pm (hence skipped lunch).

Managed to get things I need and reached home by 6pm.  Decided to take out my pair of running shoe (bought 2 1/2 years ago and only wore twice) and went to the nearby park for walking.  Since this is my first day, I did not want to exert too much hence walked 2 km in 25 mins.  Shall increase slowly.

Hope I will continue the walk so that at least I do some exercise.  :P

Park was not crowded at 6.30pm.

Porridge day

Did not go out today.  Cooked porridge with prawns and scallops for lunch.  Not adding any seasoning hence it was not very tasty.  Just can taste sweetness.

Cooked too much hence decided to keep a portion for dinner.  Kept in thermal cooker and it was very good.  After 6 hours, it was still hot.

Watched one old j drama and the story was very touching.  I like this type of story line.  Hope to see more of such dramas in future.

So fast its Wednesday.  We were too late to book tickets for this Friday movie.  In the end, did not find any good seats for Oz The Great and Powerful hence decided to wait till next week then watch.
Shall try to sleep earlier tonight.

John Little sales

Today, I went to Marina Square John Little.  They were having member sales that was up to 30% for most of the items.

Bought one T-shirt and 2 pairs of casual shorts.  Many items that were of good bargain did not really interest me as I did not need them.

Went home for dinner and then came back to my house.  Will stay here till Saturday.

New Channel

Ever since SCV discontinued Jet TV channel, I had lost interest to switch on the TV to see the programs.  However, with the new channel 149, I regain my interest on just switching on and see what is nice to watch.  This is Hello Japan channel which broadcasts anything relating to Japan.  Dramas, music, documentary etc.  So happy to have this new channel. 

The weather is super hot these few days.  It was so warm until I perspired when just sitting on the sofa.  Where is the cool cool weather????

Rain rain.... please come during night time and let me have a good cooling sleep....

My niece and I

My niece came to Pasir Ris house finally.  Had not seen her for 2 weeks.  Still as mischevious as usual.

I invited her to watch scary movies with me and she immediately joined.  I told her not to on sound for so loud and screen not to maximise it.  However, she was persistent to use speaker to project the sound and maximise the screen.  In the end, she dared not watch and kept moving about.  Wanted to watch and same time scared...  Hahaha.  For me, I only dare to watch since I am staying here for a few days.

We went to nearby food court for dinner tonight.  We were celebrating belated birthday for my bro-in-law.  My niece wanted to eat at Jack's Place but her dad said just nearby zi char will do.  No need to travel so far.  We were ok and went out at around 6pm.  On our way there, I realised the reason why he said nearby can liao.  He was wearing casual shorts and T-shirt.  Dared not go to shopping centre.  Hahaha...

So fast its night time and my niece went home.  It was so quiet in the house now.

Face treatment

Today, I had my 2nd treatment for my face at 1.30pm.  First treatment was done by another doctor and i think, Dr Tan is still the better one.  Next time, I will continue to book him for my treatments.  Waiting will be long but its worth it.

My sister came to meet me at the clinic as she also need to top up her products.  There will be a price increase soon hence we bought some to keep stock.  Every year increasing uh.

We were hungry and decided on Tampopo at Ngee Ann City.  I ordered their famous set.  Very good quality.  :)

Shopped around for a while and as there was nothing in mind to buy, it became boring.  Hence, we called our father to ta bao food for us and we took train home at around 6pm.

Gathering

Today, we had a lunch with our colleagues at VivoCity.  Ah Xue had craving for ramen hence we decided on Ajisen.  Ordered my favourite spicy miso ramen as usual.  It had been a very long time since I last ate this ramen.  Yummy....  We had a great time chit chatting and will continue on our next session next week.  Really missed them for 1 week.

I stayed around at VivoCity with Ah Cheng and Ah Huang until evening time to meet 小珠 for movie.  We were walking around and Ah Huang said she would like to go to JWest shop.  This was a very terrible mistake to let her go because all of us ended up buying the shoes.  I bought 2 pairs.  Mainly because I found the shoes very comfortable and suitable for walking.  Hence, decided to buy them and prepare to wear them during my overseas trips.

Met up with 小珠 at around 6.30pm and we had dinner at Food Republic.  We were still quite full so we shared one plate of bee hoon with the 五香.  Nice food.

We watched "Jack The Giant Slayer" at 7.30pm.  We were not late for the movie and enjoyed the show.  The giants were so dirty and disgusting.  Especially the cook that ate his own mucus took out from his nose.  Real real real disgusting!!!!

The movie added little funny parts that made the show amusing.  I liked the King's elite guard Elmont.  He was so charming and cool.  Overall its a good movie.  :)

Tomorrow going to have my 2nd session of horis treatment.  Hope it won't be very red as I intend to shop around Takashimaya/Tangs after the treatment.  Going all the way to town so might well just walk around.
