Its Friday Its Friday!!!  So happy.

The day passed quite fast today and that is good.  I love Friday night.

Today, we watched movie "The Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn Pt 2" at 8.45pm.  We forgo free tickets to watch "Skyfall" as the seats allocated to us by our company were no good.  Hence we gave away the tickets.

The movie was great and filled of laughter.  It was a comedy which my colleague told us prior we watched.  However, it had a good ending.  Glad that we did not miss it.


Shen mi ren joined us for dinner before our movie.  小珠 suggested O'Coffee Club and we had no objection.  First time she gave suggestion for meal lei.  We ordered 3 main dishes and 1 dessert for sharing.  Had a very great dinner there.

Today is our colleague's last day.  Another one left....  Sad lei.  When will my turn comes and any farewell for me???  Hee hee...

She gave each of us a small little gift and she was really thoughtful.  Shall keep in touch with her via Facebook and playing Scramble game.  We can meet her and other ex colleagues for lunch when convenient.

Tired

Talked over the phone till almost 2am with my colleague and slept at around 2.30am.  Woke up at 6.55am.  Not enough sleep hence very tired today.

Not too busy this afternoon but .... same thing happened again.  Each time I preparing to leave office at 6.30pm, new enq will be received.  I hate it!!!!

Eyes very tired.  Will try to sleep early tonight.

Disturbing my niece

Normal day.  Nothing special.  But happy to disturb my niece tonight.

Success

Left office at 7pm and still missed my target of 6.30pm.  Shall try again tomorrow onwards.

Tonight, I tried to cook soup for dinner again.  Yesterday was a failure.  My colleague said that as I did not use chicken or pig's bones to enhance the sweetness of the soup, I need to at least add chicken stock cube.  

Went to Econ Minimart to buy it and added a bit to the soup.  It turned out quite good.  Although not as good as my mum's cooking but at least was drinkable.  But I told my sister that I spent too much time cooking just a bowl of soup.  Think eat fruits better.  Hahaha...

Failure

1st failure of the day : Did not manage to leave office by 6.30pm.

Looks quite colourful but....its tasteless uh!!!  In the end did not finish the soup but just ate the ingredients except the corn.  It isn't sweet at uh uh!!!  Really helpless...  Spent so much time preparing and result is bad. :(

Reward my hard work with fruits as dessert.  The apples were crunchy and good looking.  But.... they were not sweet!!!   What happened today?  Had a bad trip to office as I was bullied by people in the MRT and could not snatch a seat.  Now food also bullied me.  

So fast

Its too fast....  Sunday liao.

I enjoyed doing nothing and just laze around.  My niece did not come to my parents house hence a bit quiet a home.  I just continue watching some dramas that I saved in my thumbdrive.  However, I did not watch a lot because the files cannot be launched.  So sad...

My mum packed some fresh prawns, vegetables and pork meat for me.  I am trying to cook soup for dinner.  Hopefully will be successful.  :)

Hate tonight cos just few hours later, it will be Monday morning and is another long week.

Nice day

Woke up at 10.45am and it was a breezy day.  Nice and cooling air blowing into my house.  Did housework and surfed net at home until 5pm.  Met up with the 2 girls for dinner.

Wow... the spread for the dinner buffet at The Melt was really good.  We ate until stomach very the full.  Chit chatting as usual and it was really a nice day for me.  Relaxing lei.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Was very full and the walk from Marina Square to Cityhall Mrt station was good.  On the way, saw this beautiful christmas tree.  Wow... Christamas is really coming soon. 

 

 

Fantastic movie

Woke up at 7am this morning unwillingly.  Have to start going to work earlier due to change of HOD.  Stupid system.  Reason why I always go to work at 10 - 10.15am was because we could not go home on time as others due to our nature of work.  However early I am, I still cannot leave until 7pm.  Real stupid!!!!!!!  Not sure how long we have to endure but just wait and see.

So pissed off and just glad that its Friday today and I am looking forward for the movie.  We watched Rise of the Guardians and it was a very very good movie.  Fantastic I would rate it as.  I love the story and the characters.   Sandman is so cute. Tooth fairy is so beautiful.  Jack Frosts is so cool.  Just that I did not know that there is such character like Jack Frosts and Pitch Black.  What am I doing during my childhood???  Even for tooth fairy, I only got to know when we watched one of the movie that was about tooth fairy.  Hahaha.

We left office at about 7pm and had plenty of time to have our dinner.  Suggested to have dinner at Vivocity Food Republic.  After dinner, went for a short shopping and managed to buy the christmas tree that I am trying to look for since last Saturday.  I am now so happy.  Shall decorate my living room tomorrow morning.

Oh yah.. looking forward to tomorrow's dinner.  Meeting Tulip and 小珠 for dinner at The Melt @ Mandarin Oriental.  Its to celebrate 小珠's belated birthday together with Tulip.

There are so many good movies airing and we have to find some extra time to watch them before it ends.  Stressed uh!

Mixed feeling

Today, we had a farewell lunch with our CEO.  Its his treat actually.  Its a gathering for us and I sincerely wish him all the best.  On the other hand, sad that he no longer is our big boss.  I respect him a lot.  He is a very good big boss that treat everyone fairly.

There will be changes and foresee will be a very drastic change.  Just keep my fingers crossed that we can go through the bad times together and safely.

Have to report to work earlier from tomorrow onwards.  So sian.

Eat again

My colleague came back from her Europe trip and gave us a box of chocolates each.  The packaging is so nice that I simply do not want to eat them.  Shall keep till right time to eat.  :P

Had a good lunch today again.  One of my colleague suggested Marutama at The Central and I agreed immediately.  Could not resist nice Japanese food.  Hee hee...  Fat liao fat liao.

Ah Cheng sent me a photo of her eye.  Getting better liao.  Hope she can recover soon and back to office.

Food again

This morning, it was unusual that the train was so empty.  I supposed to take the next train but looking at such empty cabin, I felt so wasted for not taking that train.  Hence, decided to board it and to wait for 小珠 at Labrador station.  Ultimately, she actually missed her train.  Hee hee...

Had good lunch again today.  We went to Ichiban Sushi restaurant as Miss Shen Mi Ren was full of  anger and wanted to eat good food.  I ordered a set with garlic sauce chicken with soft shell crabs.  Ordered my favourite mentai potato too.  Nice nice.

Took few photos this afternoon as my application to renew passport was rejected due to uneven colour tone of the submitted photo.  I could not feel relax while taking and kept laughing.  Ai yah.  Don't care lah.  Just take one of the best to submit.  Anyway no one see except immigration counter staff.  LOL.

Slow motion

Its Monday again.  Went to work reluctantly.  I still want to rest uh!!!

Had a long and tired day.  Slept at 2am and I am very tired.  Wishing to be at home asap.  I was in slow motion for the whole day.  Could not do things fast and could not focus properly.

Decided not to sweep floor today since the floor is rather clean.  Shall wait till Wednesday.

Tulip made reservation for our dinner on this coming Saturday at The Melt @ Mandarin Oriental.  The reviews are good and looking forward to have another feast.  This meal is to celebrate 小珠's belated birthday.

Shall continued to watch J dramas.

Aunty again

Went to Expo for shopping with my sister's family and my bro.  My sister wanted to buy some assessment books for my niece in preparation of her Sec 1 schooling.  There is Popular fair that ends today.

It was so crowded and I realised there are really bookworms exist.  I can see many children just sat on the floor and read the books.  Amazing.  :)

We managed to get some and left the hall.  Headed for John Little fair before going home.  I bought some shorts in John Little fair and my sister also bought for herself, her daughter and husband.  My bro bought one t-shirt.  Aunty episode continues.  Hahaha.

Back home just in time to have dinner and left at 7.15pm.  Reached home before 8pm and I have time to slowly wash my tupperware containers.  So moody now that its Sunday night and left few hours to enjoy before going back to work.  

Christmas mood is here

This afternoon, went to see my skin doctor for a review.  My sis and I booked the appointment for 12.10pm but she was late due to a phone call from her church leader.  In the end, she had to cancel hers and re-book another day.

The doctor just came back from his holiday and today is his first day of work.  Hence, his appointments were very full.  I had waited for an hour for my turn.  Basically my reason of seeing him was to see if I need to change my skin care products and also to let him know I want to continue with my horis (not sure real spelling but its to remove my freckles) treatment.  In the end, I spents $1800 today.  $1250 for a package of 10 session treatment (Already cheap liao.  I paid $300 per session 3 years ago) but will be treated by another doctor.  Spent another $500 on products as there is a promo now that every $500 spending will have a cash rebate of $50 (but can only be used for the next product purchased).  Heart pain uh!!!

We went for lunch at Ion Food Republic food court.  All of us ordered the 秋莲板面 and we ordered some dim sum too.  After that, we went to Takashimaya shopping that it was a disaster.  I spent a lot on food uh.  There is Japan fair now and I bought jellies from Wakayama that costs $40 in total.  My mum bought 3 apples originated from Wakayama for $13.90.  My god!!!

I did not really regret buying because the jellies are so tempting and they are filled with whole piece of fruits.

Shopping malls are now decorated with Christmas decors.  Tonight will be the light up but we did not stay till that late.

We left Orchard at 5.00pm and went to Changi airport for dinner after meeting my dad at home.  He drove us there.  We had Fish & Co.  So sad that we were not given free sweets after we settled our bill. The waiter forgot and we too pai sei to ask for them.

Christmas is coming... I begin to look forward to this festive.  :)

Spoiled my mood

Today was rather a busy day for me.  I could not finish my work and have to carry forward to Monday.

Left office late and luckily we saved some time by taking our colleague's car till bus stop at harbourfront.  Bought sushi for dinner in order not to miss the starting of the movie.  Also went to buy something for 小珠's sister before we headed to the theater.  Luckily we went in on time.

However, today I am facing a problem with one of the delivery and bad news kept coming.  In the end, I had missed part of the beginning of the movie as need to get out to answer call and coordinating through various sms.  Really spoiled my mood to watch the movie.  But still manage to understand the story hence not so bad.  This movie "Argo" is good.  It was based on real story and it was so amazing that they managed to find actor and actoress that resemble the real persons.  It might be due to makeups but really.... so amazing.  :)

Tomorrow has to get up early to finish my housework before leaving house at 10.45am.  Have doctor appointment for face skin review.

I am member now

The day passed very fast today.  Had lunch till 3pm (with boss lah) and followed by meeting my financial planner for updates.  Back in office at 4.45pm and started to rush for my work as it was the peak hour. 

Completed by 7.10pm and initially wanted to leave early to go and buy the tupperware that I reserved but the stall was closed when we reached there.  Reason being we left office only near to 7.45pm as my colleagues need to complete last piece of their work.  The stall assistance also never sms me to inform me of the arrival of the item I reserved yesterday.

Decided to go to the store in NEX to try my luck.  In the end, I signed up as member.  I find it still worth it to sign up even if I paid $35 for member fee.  I got 25% discount for the item I bought that saved me about $10 and the freebies I received for signing up as a member has covered the fee I paid.  Moreover, I think I still have some items to buy for myself and my mum in future.  Although the membership is for 1 year only unless I spent $600 to renew.

Happy to have the multi colour containers.  I bought the small containers set  :)

Finally...

Finally... we booked movie tickets for this Friday.  We skipped a few weeks and now resume our weekly event.  Watching "Argo" at 8.10pm this Friday.  Heard from 小珠 that the booking fee has revised to $1.25 from $1.00.  "Vampire" uh!

As usual, I did not feel like working when I woke up in the morning.  Really really wish that today is a non working day.  My wishful thinking again. 

Late afternoon started to rain and it continued till I back home.  It was drizzling and the weather is so cooling now.  Oh dear... I will refuse to get out of bed tomorrow....

I found it!!!

Nice morning.  Woke up and found myself relaxing on the bed.  Simply did not wish to get out from my bed.  It's holiday today and I could wake up late.

I finally pushed myself to cook porridge for lunch.  The packet of 1 kg rice was intact since I moved in half year ago.  First time cooking and I did not know that I need to open up the lid after it started to boil.  In the end, it was so messy with the broth spilling out from the opening where suppose to let out the steam.  However, I managed to cook a bowl of decent porridge.  Added 3 pieces of preserved scallops.  Hmmm nice.

Watched a few episodes of J dramas and left my house at around 4.15pm.  Meeting my parents and sister at T3.  We went for early dinner so as to avoid the crowd.  We made the right decision.  There was a long queue when we finished our food at 6pm.  Japanese food again.  It was very nice.  The sashimi was fresh and good.  The maki was very nice too.  My parents like it very much.  We ordered a 2 pax premium set ($68) and a 1 pax premium set ($30) for sharing.  Added a few types of sashimi and handroll for each of us.  It costs $185 in total and really worth the money. 

At one glance, this was how our table looked like.  Its really a feast.  A lot of varieties.



Cannot resist chocolates and bought one of my favourite chocolates from The Cocoa Tree.  Recently, I have been craving for chocolates.  Not japanese chocolates but "ang moh" chocolates.  Don't know why lei.  I have a lot of chocolates bought from Japan but my crave is not that.  Strange...


 














Back home quite early.  I was doing some packing and finally, I found my "Alice".  Its actually a wall hanger.  I can now display my wall musical decor bought from Otaru 6 years ago.  So happy.
