Ai yah! Overslept uh!

I was still wondering how come my alarm clock still yet to ring when I found myself sleeping for so long. In the end, decided to crept out of my bed and to my "horror", it was already 12.50pm!!! Oh my god! I overslept!

My intention was to wake up at 10.30am so that I had more time to do my stuff in the morning but ended up so late. I forgot to set my alarm clock uh. No wonder it did not ring. My fault anyway... By the time I wash up and had "brunch", half day gone again.

Watched Japan hour as usual and continued with some TV programs. Did nothing but watch TV programs and played my facebook games in the afternoon. Felt so shiok doing nothing but lying on the sofa. However, today's weather was super the hot that I could not stand it. Was so humid and warm that I could not sit still.

So fast and the weekend ends like this. With me sleeping most of the time. I shall now set my goal to sleep early every night now in order not to sleep so much on weekend. Must do it uh!!!

Saw this photo in Takeru's blog. Both Haruma and him went to New York. They seem to enjoy their trip there. But Takeru does look a bit different in this hairstyle.

Good day to rest

Finally today I can have a good rest at home. For whole afternoon, I did nothing but watch J dramas. I wanted to keep up-to-date for "Bloody Monday 2" and "Code Blue 2". I managed to finish all the outstanding episodes and now will wait for the new ones.

Woke up rather late this morning and some how begin to find it so waste of time to sleep so much and waste the whole morning. However, I was too tired to think about it this morning and continued to sleep and wake up at 12noon. :P

My mum cooked Japanese sweet potato with ginger soup today. It was so tasty and I had a lot of it. Good to purge "air" from my body. Ha ha...

We went to Tampinese 1 for dinner tonight. Decided on Hong Kong Kim Gary restaurant as my sister said that their hotplate sets are good. In the end, all four of us ordered the hotplate sets and they were really good. Yummy!

The set comprises of garlic bread, soup, drink and main course.
After the dinner, we went to Starhub store to exchange our Top set remote controller. Luckily we were few seconds early. The staff were trying to close the door to restrict more people going in when we reached there. Managed to sneak in on time. As my sister had asked the staff if it was correct to queue at this store (there were 2 stores serving different services), we "jumped queue" and got it exchanged as the staff done it immediately for us instead of us continuing to queue.

Movie time

Just watched movie "From Paris with Love" and back home. This was a last minute decision to watch movie today. Initially, I could not find any suitable one and already had plan to have dinner this evening without catching any movie. However, 小珠 saw a review for this movie which showed this movie was good and we decided to go ahead to buy tickets during lunch time. The movie was in GV Max hence although the best seats were on centre rows (9 rows fm the back), we were ok as the distance was still not too bad as the theater was so big.

The title for this movie had misled me which I thought it was a romance story and hence did not really read the story outline when I was checking what were the available movies to watch. Actual fact is, this movie was more on shooting scenes and we really enjoyed it. Luckily 小珠 saw the review. Otherwise, we will miss this one.

We watched the 7pm show as did not want to watch the later one which was at around 9.30pm so that we did not need to chase after the MRT trains. Ha ha... As usual, we were late again but this time round, we managed to watch one trailer before it started. Did not miss the beginning of the movie. Good good.

After the movie, we had a hard time deciding which fastfood restaurant to go. Initially, I chose McDonald but when approaching the restaurant, I decided to change it to KFC. Flicker minded me hor.

Following weeks, there are many new movies coming up. Believe we can watch "Alice in Wonderland" next week. So excited when I saw this upcoming movie "Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva". We played the NDS games and did not know there will be a movie on this. Looking forward to it and the scheduled date is 18 March 2010. I do hope it will be shown in GV VivoCity. So disappointing for previous few Japanese movies where it was shown in selected GV cinemas only. Cross my fingers.

Stiff Neck = Pain Pain

Aiyoh..... My neck so pain....

Woke up and found myself having stiff neck. Must be bad posture when I slept last night or my bad sitting posture while using my laptop to watch J drama last night.

So uncomfortable and my colleague helped me by massaging my shoulder to ease the stiffness. However, it was still there and seems to be worst when I am back home. Feel like having a big lump near my right shoulder and neck. Hope it will be recovered tomorrow hence tonight will try to sleep early.

Planned to watch "Code Blue 2" tonight but in the end, did not do so. I was busy searching some songs for Ah Cheng. Managed to find them and she will be happy to get them tomorrow. :)

Well, I shall rest early tonight and looking forward to tomorrow as it is Friday and I can have more rest on weekend.

CNY lunch

So fast and the 15 days of Lunar New Year is coming to an end this weekend. Have to wait for another year to celebrate this joyous festive.

Our company organised celebration at Sentosa Amara Sactuary. We took the shuttle bus to the venue at 11.30am and the event started at around 12.30pm. Estimation was there were around 400 staff joined this event.

The food was not bad and I enjoyed the event as it was very entertaining throughout. MC was good and the special dance and singing by our colleagues were good. Laughter filled the whole room in majority of the time.

Too bad. I was not lucky to be one of the lucky draw winner. However, was a bit glad that I was not picked for the top 6 prizes because the winners had to perform before getting the prizes. Ha ha...

Tired Tired Tired x 10000000000

Ai yoh, woke up this morning with tiredness again. Why lei???

A bit lazy hence got out of house late today. My dad drove me to Kovan MRT as he need not pick up his colleague. Received sms from my sis that there was a jam on the way to Kovan MRT and asked my dad to avoid that road.

However, we still ended up caught in the jam. Many cars diverted to the small road which we were taking. This jam at this road was actually due to the traffic light setting. Reached office 15mins later than usual.

My back was aching and could not sit straight. Felt so uncomfortable even when I reached home after work. I managed to leave office early at 7.30pm today and hope I can continue to hit this target.

Hope my backache will be better tomorrow. I am going for our company's Chinese New Year lunch tomorrow and do not want to spoil the happy mood. :P

Code Blue 2

Today I was very tired since morning. Perhaps due to insufficient rest for past 2 weeks. I was yawning and yawning non stop in office.

Was rather relax today (although my colleagues were busy handling big issues which I could not help much) hence able to leave office early at around 7.30pm. Hope I can do same more often so that I can reach home early and has more time to watch TV and J dramas.

Watched "Code Blue 2" halfway and found that the story is still good although this is already the second season. Usually dramas for second season are not as good as its first. However, I completely believe that "Code Blue 2" and "Bloody Monday 2" will remain good or even better than their first season.

Initially I could not get use to Yamapi's hairstyle (long fringe) but beginning to get use to it after watching a while. Will continue to chase after J dramas in coming weeks. :P

Sun Sun Sunday

So sad. It's Sunday again. Left one day to rest. :(

Well, today I went to Toa Payoh temple for praying. This is our usual practice every year. It was so hot this afternoon and luckily the temple was not too crowded. A lot of people but still room to move around.

We were super fast and finished within 20mins. Headed to Toa Payoh Interchange to have some cold desserts as we could not stand the heat.

Managed to make reservation at Peony Jade restaurant at Clarke Quay. Was not too optimistic when I called the restaurant during noon time and was so surprised that there was still table available. Lucky uh. We had called another restaurant earlier and was told fully booked unless we wanted the 8.30pm slot.

Took bus from Toa Payoh interchange to Clarke Quay as we found that we had so much time before dinner time at 6pm. Reached The Central and found nothing to shop there. Moved over to Liang Court mall and we shopped at Meidi-ya Supermarket. Bought some food there and since there was still time left, we went to McDonald for drinks. Our legs were also tired so just nice to have a rest.

Finally it was time to move over to the restaurant so we walked slowly out of Liang Court. To our surprise, it was drizzling. We quickly walked over towards the restaurant. It rained heavily when we were seated. So lucky again.

We decided on the set menu as it was so troublesome to choose ala carte dishes. As I had dined in this restaurant few times before and food was nice, we were rather confident that we will enjoy the food today.

My parents and sister said the food was really good and we all were so full when we finished the set meal. This is my parents first "Lo Hei" and glad that they enjoyed it. :)

Terrible uh!!! I woke at at almost 1pm today!

Actually I woke up at 10.30am when my alarm clock rang. However, went back to sleep as I was still sleepy. In the end, woke up again at around 12 plus but laid on my bed till 1pm then slowly crawled out of my bedroom.

For whole afternoon, I sat in front of the TV and my lap top. Played games and watched TV programs at the same time. Multi tasked uh...

Our boss invited us to his house this evening at 7pm. We reached his house at around 7.30pm. As usual, we would play few rounds of blackjack before going home. Ai yoh, my luck still not arrive yet this year. I lost $14. My cards were not very good today. Well, its ok. I will wait patiently for my luck to come. We left his house at around 10.30pm.

Back home now and I shall continue to watch "Bloody Monday 2". 小珠 already watched till episode 3 while I am still in episode 1. Must quickly catch up with her so that we can discuss the storyline. :P

Oh yah. Today is 正月初七 which is 人日. Happy Birthday to everyone!

No movie today

Today is Friday and our usual routine is to watch a movie in the evening. However, this week there isn't any movie we would like to watch. Therefore, we decided not to watch this evening.

小珠 read my blog updated yesterday and reminded me that we are going to our boss house tomorrow night. Oh oh... I completely forgot about it and thought I can have dinner with my parents tomorrow night. Need to postpone to Sunday liao. Luckily she reminded me. Hee hee...

I managed to clear my work on time and sad to say that whenever I need to catch a movie, I always cannot leave office on time. Today I am not watching any but I can clear my work early. So bad hor.

We decided to go for dinner instead. Decided on having western food at HarbourFront Centre Banquet. This stall always have long queue during lunch time hence do not have any chance to eat it. Especially that there are limited seats and with our big group, it is difficult to get seats.

I ordered the Honey with black pepper sauce chicken chop and 小珠 ordered Black pepper grilled fish. Both were yummy and we plan to go there again to try the Sambal chicken chop and grilled fish. The fries were so crispy and freshly made.

Was so tired tonight and decided not to watch the J dramas. Better take a rest. :P

Good dinner ~ another "lou hei"

This morning, I received sms from our contract staff that she was sick and unable to come to work. Oh dear!!! Due to the long holidays + her leave yesterday, documents were piling up. Only thing I could do was to help as much as I could to minimise delay in document flow which will affect our KPI.

Was replying to her sms while waiting for bus to Kovan MRT. I saw bus no 81 was approaching and was the 3rd bus in the queue. Happily typing my sms and when I was boarding the bus, I realised that it was bus no 39! I did not know why and how the bus queue changed that caused me to take the wrong one. Due to I was too embarrassed to get down from the bus, I continued to board the bus and get down at the bus stop near Pasir Ris MRT station. Hoping to run and catch bus no 81 which was in front but it went off by the time I alighted. No choice but to change my plan to take the East West Line MRT to work.

During lunch, I ordered chicken rice when I heard 小珠 mentioning that she would like to order it . It had been quite some time since I ate chicken rice. With additional egg, it made a perfect meal for me. Hee hee..

We had dinner with our contractor this evening. All of us left office on time to avoid being late for the dinner. Out team is the well known "rubber timing team" as we never punctual for most of the events. My colleague chasing after us to leave office if we wanted to have free transport. This trick worked.

Our dinner venue is at Taste Paradise located in Ion Orchard. The food was real good. I enjoyed all the dishes and was so full when I was back home. Thought I can watch episode 2 of "Bloody Monday 2" but seems too late now after I finished "cooking" in my Cafe World. Cannot sleep to late tonight as I am getting tired after past few late nights.

Now we need to think of a restaurant to go for this Saturday dinner. My parents would like to have "lou hei" as they yet to have any. Cracking my head now...

Back to work

Uhhhh Back to work today. So sad...

Surprisingly, there wasn't many colleagues taking leave today. I thought it will be rather empty in the whole office but it was not the case. Just that many people left office early and did not stay late.

I need to stay quite late as I was covering my colleague who was on leave today. Managed to leave office only at 8.40pm. Looking forward to go home as tonight I will start to watch "Bloody Monday 2". It aired few weeks ago but I only have time now to start watching it. First epi was very long (1 1/2 hrs). Think I will sleep late tonight liao.

Well, its ok if it is for my idols ~ Haruma and Takeru. :P

Where is my Luck???

Today, it's my aunt's family turn to visit us. We kept asking them to help us to eat as much CNY goodies as possible. We have limited this year's goodies but still ended up a lot. Perhaps because we do not have time to munch them ourselves hence each containers appear to be very full like no one touch them.

Originally our plan was to go straight to my elder sister house but my aunt asked us if we wanted to visit her brother's (my uncle's) house. We agreed and detoured to Woodlands before going to Toh Guan Road.

When we reached my elder sister's house, my god nieces were already there waiting for us to start the Blackjack game. Not sure what happened. My luck still not here yet and I lose some $$$ again. Where is my Luck??? This year I am suppose to have better "direct" and "side" luck. Perhaps yet to arrive and I need to wait patiently. Anyway, I did not lose too much today (about $10 plus) so it was still ok. :P

So fast... tomorrow has to go back to work. How I wish there are more days for me to enjoy. This year I went out all the 3 days hence did not have much time at home to do my stuff. Plans to watch J dramas and sort out photos are all put aside. Can only do them slowly liao. :)

Busy 年初二

So fast its already 年初二. Time really flies.

My elder sister's family and brother-in-law godsister family arrived at around 1.30pm. They stayed for about 2 hours and we headed to our aunt's house at around 3.30pm. The kids were so excited when we reached there as it was Blackjack time. We promised to play with them when we reached there as our cousins were waiting to play too.

Played for 3 hours and I was one of the big loser. Think I lost about $50 - $60 to the kids. Seems like the kids have better luck as last year, they were the big winners too. Anyway, it was just to have fun with them so its ok lah.

Tomorrow it's my aunt's family turn to come to our house. After which, we will go to my elder sister's house for visiting. Every year we have the same routine to ensure we visit each other houses.

So fast... one more day left to enjoy and have to go back to work.

新年到了!!!



Happy New Year to all. Hope this year will be a good year for all. Last year was a rather busy year for me and hope this year will be a better one for me. $$$ more more, job less less, health good good, mood super good.

I woke up at 10.30am with tired eyes. I watched Korean drama till 4am. Could not stop as I really got so excited to know how was the ending. Ah Cheng told me the ending was no good so I was so eager to know the ending. To my surprise, I found that the ending was good. Strange lei...

Now I can continue to watch my outstanding J dramas. Has been quite some time and now it is time for me to chase after my idols dramas. :P

We went out at 1pm to 2 of my aunty houses (very near each other) and headed to VivoCity for our dinner. Not many choices for us as most restaurants were closed today. We chose LJS and went home straight after dinner as there was nothing to shop there. However, the shopping mall was so crowded with people as many parents brought their kids there to play.

Reached home early hence I can have more time to watch my J dramas. Yippy Yippy!!!

Tomorrow we will be going to our aunty (mother's sister) house. Before that, my elder sister's family and my brother-in-law godsister's family will be coming to our house first. After that, we will all go together to our aunty's house. As a once in a year event, we will play black jack with our cousins and nieces. Of course just playing only and not gambling. They are still so young. :P

Chinese New Year Eve ~ Reunion Dinner

This morning, I woke up at 10.30am as usual for weekends. Today is Chinese New Year Eve and we had our reunion dinner at home. Few years ago, we had our dinner in restaurants but found that it was always so rush to finish the dinner within 1 1/2 hrs hence decided to eat hot pot at home comfortably.

My elder sister's family came at around 3pm and we had our dinner very early at 5pm. They left at around 7.30pm and we started to prepare the New Year goodies for tomorrow (大年初一). Usually we will stay at home on the first day but tomorrow we will be visiting our aunty (大姑). She is the eldest in the family and my father as her youngest brother should visit her out of respect. For past few years, we are too lazy to go as we know that many of our relatives will be there and she will not be lonely but since my brother-in-law passed his car to my younger sister over the New Year period, it will be convenient to drive our whole family there.

Think age is catching up. We could not finish the food and left quite a lot. My mum already cut down the quantity but we still could not finish them. As usual, we will keep the food in the refrigerator and will eat it whenever we feel like eating.

I will watch the channel 8 countdown TV program tonight and shall see if I can continue with my Korean drama. Left 4 episodes and shall see how many I can clear. :)

Holiday mood

It's Friday again and I am looking forward to this day as tomorrow onwards will be a long weekend for us. Coming Mon and Tue are public holidays and we can rest till Wed back to office.

I was on holiday mood since morning. When my alarm clock rang at 7.10am, I was wondering why alarm clock rang and is today Saturday? Well guessed I slept too late last night and was dreaming that today is Saturday!

Went to work and surprisingly not many of our colleagues took leave today. We had super early lunch at 11.30am as we need to be back in office at 12.30pm to do our work. Although it was not a declared half day for our dept, many bosses allowed staff to work half day.

Our team was so hardworking that most of us stayed till 6pm. We preferred to complete our work so that we can enjoy our Chinese New Year without worries.

Just back from our Friday movie. We watched "Percy Jackson and the Lightnight Thief". We were again late for our show and so surprised that it started at 6.50pm. Show time was 6.40pm and previously, it took 20mins for trailers and commercials but nowadays, it cut short to be 10mins only. Next time we had to ensure we can only be late for 10mins. Ha ha...

This movie was good and I liked the graphics. The story was good and easy to understand. It was worth for money to watch this movie. I like fantasy stories so this one makes me enjoy it very much. Good relaxation for me to end this week. Tomorrow may have a lot of things to do as we need to get prepare for our reunion dinner. We are eating hotpot tomorrow at home. Looking forward to it as it has been quite some time that we last eat hotpot at home. :)

Lunch at Marutama

Wow so fast it's Thursday again. Left one more day to go before the long weekend + holiday. Chinese New Year is just 3 days away.

I went to 四马路观音庙 for praying together with my colleagues. It had been quite some time since I last went there. My colleagues mentioned they would like to go during lunch today hence I followed them.

After the praying, we went to The Central to meet up with my another colleague as we were having lunch with one of our customer. We decided to eat Marutama ramen and did not know why, I was craving for ramen today and enjoyed the lunch. The egg was so nice...

Tomorrow is Friday and our usual movie time. 小珠 and I went to purchase the tickets after work. We are watching "Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief". This movie looks like not bad as half of the theatre was already booked when we went to GV VivoCity counter. We bought tickets for the 6.40pm showtime as I believe I should have no problem leaving office early tomorrow.

Looking forward to this movie. :P

Mum's birthday

Today is my mum's birthday. I left office at 6.20pm for dinner with my family, with many things on my mind. There were many things to handle and I had to do it while travelling home. In the end, my mobile phone battery was nearly drained out when I was back home after dinner. During dinner, my phone kept ringing non stop. That is why I usually do not want to leave office until after 7pm.

We went to Whitesands Shopping mall for dinner at Xin Wan Hong Kong Cafe. As it is my mum's birthday, we decided to sign up for member using my mum's name. We could enjoy the discount immediately and there was a gift for my mum too (a big cup bowl).

Ordered quite a number of dishes for 4 of us (my parents, younger sister and me) and surprisingly we could finish them. Also ordered desserts too. My sister likes their beancurds but too bad, they were sold out liao. She was so disappointed that with 10 times there, only 1 time she managed to eat the beancurds.

Was rather tired hence decided not to continue the Korean drama tonight. Just finished clearing my office emails as I bring back my laptop so that I can finish my work in order not to rush them tomorrow when back in office.

Countdown to Chinese New Year

So fast... now counting down to Chinese New Year.

Time really flies and cannot stop somewhere to allow me to have more time to do things I want to do. I remembered I was just counting down for Christmas then New Year and now Chinese New Year. It's already February of 2010. Another month and it will be a quarter of 2010 gone.

I do not know what I am doing except work, surf net, watch TV and sleep. Would like to think of doing something great for this year but... still cannot find what is that. Have to try to search for it. :P

Well, nothing special happened today except the Korean drama talk with my colleague. We were discussing the scenes and were laughing and laughing when we recalled those funny parts. I watched 2 episodes last night and slept at 2am. Wanted to stop halfway but couldn't do it.

Ah Cheng had finished watching it but now she is watching the 2nd time. She liked to watch many times until she found another drama. Ha ha...

Shall now continue my drama. So sorry to my idols that I have kiv their dramas until I finish this. Else I will watching all halfway.

Why am I still so busy today???

Today my father gave me a lift to Kovan MRT station. He need not pick up his colleague to work hence I had the "priviledge". Hee hee...

I thought I will be more relax today since my colleague was back and I will have more time to do my own stuff. However, did not understand why I still had so much work to do and could not leave office early at my targeted 7.30pm.

Hope rest of this week will not be so hectic. Glad to know that this Friday, I may be able to finish my work on time and need not stay late. Most of our activities will be finished by around 2pm and I can clear my paperwork so that I can go back early. If there is suitable movie, we will watch it as usual.

Watched Korean drama halfway. Shall continue and hope I will not be hooked on it and do not want to sleep. :P

Working at home for almost 4 hours!!!

So bad... I slept at 4.30pm yesterday due to watching Korean drama and woke up at around 11am this morning.

I brought back some work to do as I could not finish it in office and hope to clear them before going back to office on Monday. No choice but to quickly start to do at around 12noon. I only managed to finish it at around 4pm. Of course lah, I did surf net and played Facebook games within that 4 hours. Maybe that slowed me down. Hee hee... But... I was still hardworking to work right???

My mum cooked egg noodles tonight for dinner. Upon my request yesterday, she cooked green bean soup for us too. It was good to drink green bean soup as I think I am rather "heaty" these few days. My constipation symptoms are here. Must drink more water...

I will not watch too many episodes tonight as tomorrow has to work. Must keep a close look at the clock in order to prevent "over run". Otherwise, I will be very tired when I go back to office tomorrow.

So envy that my younger sister needs not go to work tomorrow. She had taken a day off tomorrow and will accompany my mum to Chinatown tomorrow for a walk. If she tells me earlier, I can apply for a day off too. I seem to have many things yet to do for coming Chinese New Year. Left just another 6 days only. So fast...

Went for haircut today

This morning, I woke up at almost 11am. I slept at around 3am yesterday after watching the Korean drama. Could not stop watching and each episode is almost 70min.

Went for my haircut and after that, I met up with my parents and sister for dinner at Tampines 1. Before meeting them, I bought 2 pairs of shoes from U.R.S. & Inc. I wanted to buy black shoes but ended up with one black and one brown. The brown one actually looks more like Mahogany colour. However, it doesn't matter as long as it is dark colour and easy to go with my clothing.

We dined at Sushi Tei again as my mother liked it. After the dinner, we moved to Simei to buy some Chinese New Year goodies. My father has been talking about birdnest hence I decided to buy some so that my mum can cook for us. Good bargain as now they had Chinese New Year promotion.

Well, tonight I will continue to watch the Korea drama. Hope I will not sleep too late. Ha ha...

Wrong choice

Yippy it's Friday.

Our overseas colleagues went back to their home countries today and this ended this week busy schedules. My colleague coming back next Monday and this ended my 2 weeks busy schedules. :)

Just watched movie "Paintball" and rather disappointed with this choice. So far the movies we watched were not bad but this one.... The filming made us felt rather giddy as the camera followed the casts running. The story was a bit weird and the ending was all innocent people died while those rich people paying to watch "death" were so cruel and escaped in the eye of law.

However, this did not spoil our dinner. We decided on Burger King and I ordered the BK Chicken burger set while 小珠 ordered Fish burger. While I finished my burger, I saw the next table was eating the Mexico drumlets. I could not resist it and decided to order a box. It was so tasty and I always cannot resist nice chicken wings/drumlets. Ha ha...


Tomorrow I will be going for my haircut + highlights. I forgot the timing I booked 2 months ago hence called the salon to re-confirm. It will be at 1.30pm hence guess tomorrow I cannot wake up too late.

Well, shall continue to watch Korean drama "原来是美男啊! ". Ah Cheng recommended this drama to me and asked me to try watching the first episode to see if I like it. I watched the first episode and found it quite nice. The storyline is not something new (ie female disguised as male) but the story still not too bad. Since it is only 16 episodes, I can watch it lah. Will put aside my J drama for timebeing so that I can accumulate more episodes and watch them at one go.

This week passed so fast that I am lost on which day is that today. I thought today is only Wednesday. Now I shall count down for 1 more day and I can be more relax when my colleague return to work.

We went to LJS for lunch today and I ordered the same set which had 3 pieces of chicken pranks, fries with drinks. I added coleslaw and enjoyed my lunch very much. All 5 of us requested the staff to give us the "crispy crispy little ones" which we still do not know what they are called. "Crafts", "Crumps" or ??? I think I ordered too much today that caused me felt so full till evening time then my stomach felt better.

After lunch, we went to buy tickets for tomorrow evening. We are watching "Paintball". This movie was classified as Horror but from the storyline, it does not sound "Horror" to me. Well, we will know by tomorrow.

This Sunday, my elder sister and family will not be coming over to our house. They need to do their spring cleaning. Ours were done last 2 weeks while we were doing the painting. Lucky uh. Left not much cleaning to do.

Oh dear... my dishes in Cafe World ready only at 1.30am. My eyes are getting tired and not sure if I can wait till that time. Perhaps shall watch J Drama to keep me awake. :P

捞鱼生

Chinese New Year is around the corner and I had my first 捞鱼生 today.

We had 2 days sales meeting and luckily, I only needs to attend today's morning session. Went back to office after having lunch at Meritus Mandarin Hotel and traveled back to Orchard Paragon to attend the team dinner at 7.30pm.

Ate at this restaurant for a few times and I like the food there as the food is nice and of good quality. Of course, the prices are steep too. We reserved a room for 2 tables and managed to mingle around with our overseas colleagues without disturbing other guests as we were rather noisy.

I was rather surprised that we were having first dish as 捞鱼生. However, it did seem like many restaurants are already serving this as some companies are already starting to treat customers for Chinese New Year celebration. My overseas colleagues were not familiar with this dish hence we taught them how to do the 捞鱼生. They were rather surprised that we were too excited and messed up the dish. We had to explain that the tradition was to have it as high as possible so that our wishes will come true and at the same time, we were mixing the sauces and the vegetables so that it will taste good. They liked this dish and all finished the whole plate that was served to them individually.

The dessert we had was Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts. Very nice but I could not finish it. I was so full that had to request the waiter to serve small portions of the food to me. Let the guys had the bigger portions.

Free dinner

Just back from dinner with our overseas colleague. We went to Akashi Japanese restaurant for dinner. We ordered quite a number of dishes and in the end, we were so full that we had difficulty walking. The sashimi was really good. They were very fresh and sweet. Yummy.

Next 2 days, there is sales meeting which I thought that I need not attend. However, received a sms from one of my colleague that I need to attend the morning session tomorrow. So last minute and I have so many things to clear tomorrow morning. Now, have to push all to afternoon and do not know if I can finish on time. Will try to sneak out and be back in office as early as possible. Bad news is the meeting starts at 9am!!!

I was regretting on my action. Done a wrong step and ended up that all my songs in my iphone was gone. Now I have to slowly sync the songs. So bad... I still cannot get use to this phone. :(
