This morning, we woke up early to prepare ourselves to go to the airport. We booked Narita express train seats from Ikebukuro at 10.33am. We ate our breakfast and prepared to take our luggages for check out. Then, my friend received mss from her friend working in Delta airline that the flight we were taking was overbooked. It was due to the spill over by yesterday's bad weather. Many flights were cancelled. Yesterday's check was there were about 100 seats available.
We discussed and decided to stay for one more night and booked a return ticket from Scoot. We could try tomorrow but better play safe. We have no more money and clothing lah. Ah Huang had no problem since she did not take the buddy pass and bought full price ticket. She had no choice but to go back herself.
In the end, 3 of us left behind and had one more day to enjoy in Tokyo.
Ultimately, I spent more money due to buying of clothing. I bought one new ultra light jacket from Uniqlo. It was light and easy to carry. Cheaper to buy in Japan. I thrown away my old jacket and wear this new one to try if it will be warm enough. Tried and is good. So happy...
We had lunch at one of the restaurant at Ikebukuro departmental store. Nice food.
We shopped till quite late and bought a box of strawberries for supper. Also bought cakes again. Hahaha.
The strawberries were of weird shapes. It was very juicy and sweet.
Tomorrow really going back liao. So sad....
