Day 3 : Many stops today

Woke up early today as we had a lot of traveling and need to leave hotel as early as possible. I had a very good rest last night and really laid flat. Luckily I was still very discipline to wake up on time. As I was sharing room with my parents, I cannot be late otherwise 3 of us will all be late.

Our first stop was to try delicious Sake made from very very good source of water. The tour guide explained that the water originates from underground which is stored for 10 or 100 years (oops can't remember) before it flows out from the stream. Many locals like to take the water back home to cook. There is a garden that grows very nice flower and we took some photos there. There are sakura trees there but too bad, green leaves are growing and makes it looks not so nice. Cherry blossom viewing is best in Tokyo and not in Hokkaido due to the unstable daily temperature. It is best for viewing without any leaves growing out.

Next we went to a place where I did not fancy. It's the cheese factory. Luckily there was no smell that made me uncomfortable. I did not try the cheese but the rest said it was good.

After having buffet lunch, we proceeded to Jam garden and there were so many types of jam made from different type of fruits. As it was just beginning of spring and fruits yet to grow, we could not go for fruits picking. We did not buy the jam as it was inconvenient to carry them around (breakable).

Soon after departing the Jam garden, we reached the wine winery. We managed to try a few types of red and white wine specially available in Furano only. There was also grape juices which I really like and bought a bottle to share at night.

By the time we reached Farm Tomita, it was already 5pm. Not many people around during this period. Partly due to it was late and also no flowers to view. Lavenders and other flowers were just being planted. Quite disappointed but we still manage to try the Lavender flavor ice-cream and this made us a little bit more happier.

Nice scenery on our way to the hotel that we were staying tonight. As it was near the valley, it was colder there. However, I did not feel so cold as it was only 10 - 15 deg. Not a problem for me. Ha ha ha...I so ya ya...

Should be able to have an early rest tonight as there is nothing around the hotel to walk about. Look forward to tomorrow.
