Day 3 ~ Shopping time

Today's weather was hot and humid again. No raining which we actually hope it will rain a while to lower the temperature.

Our itinerary today was to go to Tsujiki Fish market, Ginza, Akihabara, Ueno and Asakusa. However, our plan changed when there was not enough time.

Went to Tsujiki Fish Market and ate a very big piece of fresh oyster at 500yen each. It was so fresh and the meat was so firm and sweet. Ate sea urchin too which was very fresh too. We were so glad that we could eat such nice and fresh seafood there.

Had our lunch in one of the nearby restaurant. We could not stand the hot weather hence chose not to eat in those small restaurants within the market compound. Will be cheaper there but we really could not withstand the heat. The restaurant we went had very typical Japanese style decoration and we ordered their daily special set (only had 15 sets daily) and sushi set. After eating in this restaurant, I think we will not eat sushi in Singapore anymore. The sushi we ate was so nice and soft. Unlike those in Singapore where not Japanese rice was used and was so hard. Unless we go to those highclass Japanese restaurant then maybe we can find similar standard sushi.

Arrived Ginza and we spent about 4 hours there. Initially we thought there was not much to see so will only stay for 1 to 2 hours. However, we saw some nice stores and stayed for so long. By the time we wanted to leave for Akihabara and Ueno, we calculated the time and decided to stay a bit longer in Ginza and will head to Asakusa for the Hanabi. Will go to Akihabara and Ueno tomorrow.

When we reached Asakusa at 7.30pm, we realised that Hanabi had started. I thought it started at 7.30pm and ended at 8.30pm. However, actual timing was 7 to 8.30pm. It was so crowded and we could not squeezed into a better view area hence stood at one corner to watch it. Could not see full view as there were trees and building blocking but ok lah.. at least could see some big ones. I finally managed to eat cakes in Almond cafe during our tea break. Yummy~~

We left at 8pm and the station was so crowded that everyone had to push in order to make our way to the platform. Very hot and we were sweating. However. it was a good experience for my sis.

Our legs were so aching that we tried to snatch seats in order to rest our foot. Too much walking these few days and my legs are "rebelling". Tomorrow still have to walk a lot again.

As it was late when we reached Ikebukuro, we decided to eat at a ramen restaurant near our hotel. This shop served special ramen. The ramen and soup based were separated. You have to dip the ramen like eating cold soba. It was very nice.

Bought some drinks and store in our mini fridge. C.C. Lemon ~ my favourite drinks.
